3Liam KeniryPatrick MorrisEx-Archie Watson; two wins over 6f on Tapeta in January/March but she's been out of sorts since and was tailed off back from a break at Carlisle 12 days ago; others preferred.
(6) Roody Toody
3Robert HavlinRichard PhillipsUnexposed after only five starts but she's not finished closer than seventh and was beaten 12l on her recent handicap/seasonal debut at Chepstow (6f, good); headgear is now added and she needs a transformation back on AW.
(10) Lady Ursula
4Harry BurnsPatrick MorrisSeven-race maiden who was a creditable third at Southwell (5f, AW) on her final run for Charlie Fellowes last January; failed to beat a rival there on recent comeback but she ran well to a point at a big price and should benefit from that run; not ruled out back up in trip.
2nd (9) Time Patrol
4Nicola CurrieTony CarrollCame from the rear to win a classified event at Bath (5.6f, firm) last month but he beat only one rival when returned to that track last Saturday; has bit to prove again after that blip and he's 0-9 on AW.
(11) Coast
5Joey HaynesScott DixonTwo turf wins at Lingfield (6f) this summer but she's been well held on turf and Polytrack there in last three runs; has two C&D wins on her CV but she's drawn out wide back at this track and needs a major turnaround.
(13) Fai Fai
5Callum ShepherdDaniel SteeleWon off 2lb lower over 6f at Lingfield (AW) and Salisbury (good to firm) this summer but he didn't shine when favourite in classified event at Lingfield (7f) last time; now drops back in trip but he's drawn widest of all and others are more persuasive.
(5) Bossy Parker
4Andrew ElliottStella BarclayWon two in a row over 7f here in February/March but he's generally struggled since and was beaten 7l back on Tapeta at Southwell last time; blinkers return but he has plenty to prove and is 0-7 at sprint trips.
(12) Hailey Ya Mal
4Cam HardieAntony Brittain0-10 but he ran his best race so far when runner-up over C&D 18 days ago; that was an eyecatching effort behind a well-handicapped rival and he's a big player if he can back that up.
1st (2) Nights Over Egypt
4Kieran O'NeillJennie CandlishHas not been with Jennie Candlish for long and was fair third off reduced mark over 7f here (40-1) last time; this drop back in trip is no problem but his record now stands at 1-19 and he's not easy to predict; others look more solid.
4th (4) Eldeyaar
5Alex JaryAntony BrittainPut in a dominant display over C&D on his penultimate run and was a creditable third back on turf at Carlisle (5f, soft) 12 days ago; up another 2lb but he still looks feasibly treated and has possibilities back up in trip.
(3) Due Date
4Marco GhianiCharlie WallisFour AW wins this year including two over C&D; only 2lb higher than for his Southwell win last month and a slow start held him back when fourth behind Bluebells Boy at Lingfield last time; has a 7lb swing in the weights with his old rival and he's respected back on Tapeta.
(7) Marching Mac
3Grace McEnteePhil McEnteeOff the mark at tenth attempt with 33-1 win in apprentice handicap at Brighton (6f, good) last Tuesday; escapes a penalty for that success but his AW form lags behind his best turf efforts and he struggled at Southwell on his penultimate run; comes with risks attached back in this sphere.
3rd (1) Bluebells Boy
5David ProbertDarryll HollandGot back on track with a comfortable win at Lingfield (6f, Polytrack) 13 days ago and he overcame trouble when following up at Brighton (5.3f, good) last Tuesday; only 2lb higher under another penalty here and he's a major player again back up in trip.

Hat-trick seeker Bluebells Boy is strongly respected, while Due Date has won four times on AW this year and still looks feasibly treated on his brave success at Southwell last month. Eldeyaar put in a dominant display here on his penultimate run and looks interesting back at this track but preference is for his stablemate HAILEY YA MAL. His record stands at 0-10 but he ran his best race so far when runner-up over C&D last time and is a big player if he can back that up.[David Moon]

2Billy LoughnaneJames FergusonHalf-sister to Italian 1m-1m2f winner Sea Emperor (including 2yo); dam unraced half-sister to 1m2f/1m4f Group 2 winner Banimpire; betting to guide on debut.
2nd (4) Peter The Wolf
2Edward GreatrexWarren GreatrexToo green to do himself justice at Salisbury on debut; more professional when third of ten at Ascot 17 days ago (6f, soft), form that looks solid enough following good runs from the second and fourth since; yard's 2yos going well and he's one to take seriously.
3rd (5) Target Man
2David EganGeorge BougheyBeaten at odds-on on his debut at Lingfield in April (5f, AW); just missed out over C&D two weeks ago but that form not the easiest to assess; may do better but suspicion he'll need to.
1st (2) Good Banter
2Rossa RyanClive CoxSent off at 25-1 for his Salisbury debut 24 days ago (6f, good to firm) and ran a race full of promise, picked off late by a newcomer who was sent off at odds-on; capable of better and he's a strong contender despite the widest stall.

Target Man ran well over C&D two weeks ago but that looked a tricky race to assess and it could be that Peter The Wolf and GOOD BANTER progress past him. The selection went desperately close behind a well-touted newcomer at Salisbury on debut and an SP of 25-1 would suggest that was a pleasant surprise. He can do better.[Paul Smith]

2William CoxCharles HillsHandicapped on his debut effort when not beaten far but still last of the seven runners at Salisbury (6f, good to firm); step up in trip and switch to handicaps needs to have a major effect.
2nd (8) Mystified
2David EganJohn ButlerFirst two runs weren't without hope; latest Newcastle effort easy enough to excuse and she moves into handicaps with untapped potential; betting instructive.
(9) Holbrook
2Nicola CurrieOllie SangsterWhiff of promise in sprint maidens; 9-1 for his nursery debut at Kempton six weeks ago (1m AW) but turned in a laboured effort; blinkers now tried and still has time to do better.
4th (7) Zoulu Warrior
2Cieren FallonHeather MainUnsighted in two sprint runs in May/June; gelded after the second of them and shaped nicely in a 7f maiden at Epsom four weeks ago, travelling strongly; cheekpieces on for nursery debut; suspicion he's capable of a good deal better and he's interesting, even from the widest stall.
(4) Off The Bench
2Gina ManganEdward Smyth-OsbourneDidn't progress in four runs for David Loughnane; upped to 7f for his stable debut at Leicester six weeks ago (first run after a gelding operation) and ran okay without looking ahead of his mark; now tongue tied.
3rd (1) Georginio
2Luke MorrisArchie WatsonRan three times in the space of a fortnight in July, showing some promise over 7f; gelded prior to his nursery debut; not obviously thrown in but no surprise to see improvement.
1st (6) One Road
2Benoit De La SayetteKevin Philippart De FoyImproved with each of his three runs and his never-dangerous fifth of 12 at Kempton 19 days ago (6f) hinted at much better; return to 7f should suit and he's of some interest now facing more realistic opposition.
(2) Yehudi
2Billy LoughnaneMark LoughnaneImproved with each of his three runs in maiden/novice company, most recently beaten 5l into sixth at Haydock (first run at 7f); tongue tied for nursery debut; unexposed.
(3) Dandy G Boy
2Rossa RyanDr Richard Newland & Jamie InsoleHasn't shown his hand in three sprint maiden/novice events and when sixth at Salisbury last month he was racing away from the principals; bred to stay 7f and he's open to improvement now handicapping at a modest level; Rossa Ryan a positive booking for the yard (20% strike-rate) and cheekpieces could help; one to consider.

Few of these have remotely shown their hand and this could be a tasty nursery for the grade. Georginio, Yehudi, Dandy G Boy and Mystified have all threatened better but two with the potential to be much better than their mark are Zoulu Warrior and ONE ROAD. Both caught the eye last time and the latter, who looks sure to appreciate the return to 7f, has the better draw.[Paul Smith]

(5) American Star
5James SullivanRuth CarrBack to the same mark as when successful at Chester in July (7f, good to soft); not seen to best effect in a 6f claimer here two weeks ago; this should be more suitable and he looks the stable's main hope.
(2) Shaw Park
5Dale SwiftScott DixonThree wins at Brighton this summer, all over 7f on fast ground; 0-14 on AW but his peak RPR came when beaten a nose over C&D on his debut; not at his best at Newcastle last week but still needs consideration.

Pinball Wizard and American Star are contenders but Surprise Picture and FOREVER A DIAMOND may be the pair to focus on. The selection ran well in new blinkers at Kempton last week and is marginally preferred.[Paul Smith]

This looks a bit trappy but the vote goes to ZENO, who travelled smoothly for a long way before knuckling down well for a last-gasp success over Battle Point at Lingfield 19 days ago. He's only 2lb higher than for that breakthrough win and should get a good tow into this race. Marcus, who has finished runner-up in his last two starts, is feared most ahead of Banana, who was only just caught over 6f at Newcastle last time.[David Moon]

Preference is for the generally reliable BAILEYS WARRIOR, who won over 2m at Lingfield in February and travelled smoothly for a long way when runner-up over 1m6f here on her penultimate run. C&D winner Breccia could pose the main threat on her return to the Flat, although Humaniste has reached the frame in his last four starts and he should go well again. 3Nicola CurrieGeorge BakerBig prices and well held in two turf handicaps in July; plenty to prove with cheekpieces now added.
2nd (3) Harbour Vision
9Joey HaynesScott DixonProlific AW winner but there's been little of note since his comfortable C&D win in March; now 6lb lower as a result but he is coming here with a bit to prove.
(8) Edmund Ironside
4Robert HavlinMichael AttwaterHad some solid AW form over the winter, including a 1m win at Lingfield last November, and he's quickly dropped down the weights; not at his best on turf when last seen three months ago but no surprise to see better now returned to the AW.
(5) Chagall
8George RookeJack JonesHandicapped to win but he's rather been going through the motions this summer; has form at this track but over further and he may be ideally suited by more of a test.
(9) Offiah's Boy
3David ProbertTom WardGelded prior to his improved effort over C&D on handicap debut, a 2l third of 12 behind Cuban Harry (first run in this combination of accessories); 4lb better off with that rival today but it might not be enough.
3rd (2) King Of Speed
5Billy LoughnaneMark LoughnaneBeat Harbour Vision over C&D in February and went on to finish second on his next four starts; below his best the last twice (after a break latest) but ridden by an inexperienced rider in amateur races; Billy Loughnane back on today and better is expected returned to the AW.
(1) Cariad
4Callum ShepherdGeorge ScottShe ran respectably off this mark in two starts last month, third behind an unexposed rival at Southwell last time (second and fifth have won since); should remain competitive and this is slightly easier than last time.
4th (4) Cuban Harry
3Rossa RyanEd DunlopTook advantage of a drop in the weights when comfortably seeing off 11 rivals over C&D 16 days ago; that was his first win at the 13th attempt but he was well on top at the finish and a 4lb rise isn't harsh in isolation; whether he can back it up remains to be seen, though.
1st (6) Newfangled
3Rob HornbyJonathan PortmanCheekpieces have been the catalyst for some improvement in recent months, off the mark over 9.5f here in July and having something to spare when landing a 1m2f handicap at Lingfield 19 days ago; 5lb higher against stronger opposition and over a shorter trip but he's on the up and can't be ignored.
(7) Bay Of Australia
3P J McDonaldOliver Greenall & Josh Guerriero11-race maiden; ran his best race for new connections when second of five over the extended 1m1f here a fortnight ago, keeping on; handicap mark left unchanged and he should make another bold bid.

Newfangled comes here on the up and may well go in again but he's up in the weights and down in trip so this will demand something new. Cuban Harry won comfortably over C&D last time and will be a danger to all if able to back that up, while Cariad (second choice) also looks booked for a big run. KING OF SPEED needs to bounce back to his best but he's on a fair mark, will appreciate the return to AW, should be sharper for last month's return from a break and is reunited with Billy Loughnane this evening.[Paul Smith]
