2Ronan WhelanM Halford & T CollinsPlenty of money for him when staying-on sixth at Leopardstown and extra furlong should suit; likely to be involved.

The 89-rated Right And True is a prominent racer who sets a good standard and Nobler was an eye-catcher on debut at the Galway festival but it was notable how well backed FIVEFORTWO was at Leopardstown and his yard's juveniles usually sharpen up a lot for a run. Jareth's Sligo run was promising too and he has each-way claims. [Mark Nunan]

(6) Drop The Dip
4Gavin RyanThomas GibneyUnbeaten in two C&D runs including when beating Wrist Art in corresponding contest last year; has been running okay and back on an attractive mark now; likely to go forward from a good draw.
(10) Dancing Steve
3Adam CaffreyAdrian McGuinnessHad been running over further and 1m1f, in a visor, seemed to suit last twice; off the mark in 3yo handicap (third won since) at Tipperary; sharp mile here possibly not ideal.
(11) Nibras Rainbow
4Jack ClearyPaul W FlynnIn a good spell of form at present with creditable efforts either side of his Killarney victory over Shoot To Kill; stepping back up to a mile will help and couldn't put you off him.

Wayne Hassett won twice on WRIST ART last term and Tim Doyle's 7yo seems to be running into a bit of form. He was second to Drop The Dip in last year's renewal and that rival, unbeaten in both C&D outings, has to come into it along with in-form contenders Nibras Rainbow, Shoot To Kill and Dancing Steve. Arch Enemy will be coming home well but her chance depends on how fast they go up front. [Mark Nunan]

The obvious one is Irish 1,000 Guineas also-ran Finsceal Luas and her four-month absence is of no great concern. We'll take her on, though, with FINAL CURTAIN who made a pleasing debut at Gowran in July. The Ballydoyle newcomer Dublin is bred in the purple and his rider has a good strike-rate for the yard. Quatrain has an each-way shout on the form of her first two runs. [Mark Nunan]

Preference is for the veteran SIRJACK THOMAS, who is fine over this trip and underlined his return to form by winning a rated race at Galway two weeks ago. [Justin O'Hanlon]

(7) Onlyinyourdreams
3Keithen KennedyMrs John HarringtonPlenty of promise in a 7f maiden on testing ground at Tipperary in May; has not matched that in two runs since; would appear fairly handicapped stepping up to this trip with a top 7lb claimer on board; interesting.
(4) Preparations
3Andrew SlatteryAndrew SlatteryMildly progressive in maidens; did not quite seem to get home after travelling to the front in a 1m6f handicap at Navan last month; cheekpieces tried and drops back in trip here; likely to be a contender if there is not too much rain.
4th (3) Imarajan
3Ronan WhelanM Halford & T CollinsMild progression in three runs in maidens but somewhat disappointing in a 1m3f handicap at Limerick in June when he was admittedly hampered; gelded since and has had a good long break; could be a factor here upped to 1m4f.

3Gary CarrollGavin CromwellTongue-tie worked very well when bolting up in a 1m6f handicap at Navan on Saturday; drops back in trip here but is likely to turn up with a hefty hike likely for Saturday's win.

3Declan McDonoghJoseph Patrick O'BrienEarned her handicap mark racing over 5f to 7f; did her best work late in a 1m1f handicap at Tipperary last time; intriguing runner stepping up in trip.

The drop back in trip could well suit Preparations, as could the first-time cheekpieces, while the step up in trip could be the key to the very interesting Beyond Your Dreams. Onlyinyourdreams is interesting on her handicap debut, while Fairy Wings is likely to appreciate stepping up in trip after a good run at Clonmel. However, such was the authority with which ROBBIES ROCK scored over 1m6f at Navan on Saturday, he is very hard to oppose under a mandatory penalty. [Justin O'Hanlon]

5Keithen KennedyGerard O'LearyFive-time winner, twice for this stable this season, most recently over 1m6f at Killarney last month; probably outstayed when second over 2m at Clonmel last time; blinkers tried here as he drops back in trip and likely to be a leading contender.

1st (4) Soaring Monarch
7N G McCullaghAlan McIntyreNot really one these days to put good runs together; faded close home when an otherwise very good fourth in a premier handicap at the Curragh last Sunday; each-way claims on a good day.
3rd (12) Thor's Hammer
3Jamie PowellJ P MurtaghSome useful form last year and landed a 1m soft ground maiden at Killarney in May; stepped up to 1m2f to good effect when second in a Naas handicap last month and looked as though stepping up to 1m4f would suit; should make his presence felt.

Plenty here with chances but they could be a more appealing bunch. The possibly improving Thor's Hammer looks likely to appreciate the trip. Roscommon winner Vestigia should go well in his first handicap, while Ger O'Leary has two decent candidates in Scholarship and Jabbar. The one to beat could well be NO NIKI NO (nap), who has kept her form well and the form of her win at Sligo last time was well advertised by runner-up Beechwood since. [Justin O'Hanlon]

(16) Grann's Boy
4Adam CaffreyH RogersFirst reserve; fair dual-purpose performer was beaten favourite over 2m last time; blinkers.

Handicap debutant Redwood Queen looks to be on a potentially lenient mark and she is a danger to all if the market speaks in her favour. Dual-purpose performer THE TRUANT has been in good heart this summer and his last two pieces of Flat form give him good claims. Tudor Manor might be ready for this step up in trip now while Man Of Action is another handicap first-timer to bear in mind. Red Secret comes here in good form but is up in grade and might be placed again at best. [Mark Nunan]
