BLOU LAGOON (1) has been shaping well all season and has a good opportunity to score off top weight in this handicap. She probably has the most to fear from BASHEER (2) who was below par last time but is best judged on his penultimate run when he was second at La Teste in late June. CIAO MA (7) looks like a sensible option each way. SNATCHER (4) is also one to respect and makes up the shortlist.
