JMB will still encounter resistance from the dependable HAMILTON DU HAM (14) who won a Class C with ease last time out, and the regular GIPSY DE CHAMANT (12) who ran 3rd that day. Like a horse reborn over recent months, JASON GINYU (8) has swept all before him recently and looks eminently capable of pulling off the 4-timer. Arnaud Desmottes will still be keeping a keen eye on JET EXPRESS (6) who thrives under these conditions, and the capable and reconfigured Danish import HNOKKI SPEED (9) who reassured at Graignes last time out. JAGUAR MARANCOURT (10) is better than recent numbers would imply and the engagement of Alexandre Abrivard will only work in his favour.

On paper, this looks a 2-horse race between the progressive LOOPING DAY (13) who drops to a more reasonable level after a respectable but unthreatening Gr.2 performance, and LARIANO (3) whose tenacity paid off across town last time out. LITTLE WINGS (12) pulled off the hat-trick in a different race that day and steps up in category with justified ambition. LE GRAAL (10) was never at his ease here a fortnight ago but with Theo back in the bike, will be expected to put things right.
