After blundering early at Amiens last month, KIT ANGOT (6) set the record straight 10 days later and, confirmed at Reims, looks eminently capable of winning this. That being said, KARA DE KER (13) has been a revelation since starting to race barefoot and, even though stepping back up in category, still looks dangerous. Success may lay among the untried elements here and the smartly-bred MOLINE DE PADD (4), who qualified decently at Caen, is a case in point. MYGIRL DES FORGES (5) qualified a second faster at the same track and also looks a live chance. MASINA DE TILLARD (2) looked better in qualification than most of the horses with a run in them, and deserves to be taken seriously. MUNCH CLUB (8) may have missed the boat first time out but Franck Ouvrie will be loathe to let the same thing happen again.
