2nd (11) Bascinet
5Miss Sophiemorgan JohnstoneEve Johnson HoughtonThree-time AW winner; only a modest fourth over C&D in July and fared worse at Brighton most recently, taking turf record to 0-10; others are more appealing.
(12) Breguet Boy
7Miss Brodie HampsonArchie WatsonUsually ridden by Brodie Hampson since joining current yard; won at Windsor (11.5f) last October and second at Chepstow in June; out of sorts since, however.
1st (6) Mrs Meader
8Mr Ross BirkettJulia FeildenNot solid on this year's bare form but circumstances have played some part; scored twice off higher marks under Ross Birkett in 2022 and looks one to consider.
(4) Angelica K
4Miss Serena BrothertonSimon HodgsonSeven-race maiden who has some encouraging form, latterly on slow ground; quite interesting off a reduced mark with useful amateur Serena Brotherton booked.
(8) Change Of Fortune
5Miss Jessica LlewellynBernard LlewellynCompetitively weighted on best efforts; however, record is 0-22 and chance of finally winning depends on how well he responds to first-time blinkers.
(13) Penalty Shootout
3Mr Patrick MillmanRod Millman3yo maiden; has failed to build on reappearance effort but soft/heavy ground possibly wasn't ideal the last twice; could go well off this reduced mark.
3rd (14) Harlington
3Miss Leanne FergusonJoe Tickle0-8 and far from consistent for Ralph Smith; not sure what to expect, so the betting may prove the best guide on debut for new stable; still with same owner.
4th (2) French Martini
4Mr David DunsdonGary & Josh MooreStill a maiden but showed clear promise under David Dunsdon at Brighton (1m4f, good to firm) the last twice, finishing second off this mark latest; possibilities.
(5) Sea Of Charm
6Mr William DunlopGeorgina NichollsVersatile and in-form mare who made the frame under William Dunlop in last four runs (1m-1m2f); stays 1m4f and again should be thereabouts; solid chance.
(10) Hurtle
4Miss Sarah BowenPaul & Oliver ColeInconsistent in the last year or so and has been absent since a heavy defeat at Brighton in May; penultimate effort (runner-up over C&D) gives him place claims.
(3) Psyche
7Mr Harry SnellgroveChris GordonRespectable third under Harry Snellgrove at Lingfield (2m, AW) last month on return from lengthy absence; big drop back in trip is a possible negative, however.
(7) Captain Haddock
7Mr Henry MainHeather MainHas lots of form under Henry Main, notably two wins in 2021; three-year losing spell is a big negative but current mark is attractive; not ruled out.
(9) Parikarma
7Miss Imogen MathiasJohn & Rhys FlintHurdles winner and Flat runner-up under Imogen Mathias since joining this yard; however, form dipped markedly last time, which tempers enthusiasm somewhat.
(1) Gearing's Point
6Miss Maddison WrightSheena WestRan encouragingly at Windsor last week on return from a layoff; won off this mark over C&D (good to firm) in July 2023 and has a fighting chance back here.

Having taken big steps in the right direction under David Dunsdon the last twice, FRENCH MARTINI appears set to get off the mark. Angelica K, an interesting runner with Serena Brotherton on board, is second choice ahead of C&D winner Gearing's Point and in-form Sea Of Charm.[Steve Boow]

8Ray DawsonLouise AllanUseful in staying events at the right level for Louise Allan in 2022 but has lost his way and not yet shown signs of finding it again back with former trainer; one to watch for now.
11th (11) Robeam
8Charlie BennettMichael MullineauxMost recent win came in a staying hurdle in 2022 and he's had mixed results since midwinter but his latest second of nine at Catterick in August (2m, good to firm) was better; weighted to go well if repeating it.
6th (14) Surfer Dude
3Gina ManganSimon HodgsonNo improvement for the step up to 1m3f and 1m5f on last two starts and this extra distance asks some serious questions.
8th (1) Thahab Ifraj
11Ethan JonesAlexandra DunnMultiple hurdle and AW winner; has run well here in the past but he's 0-8 on turf and has yet to return to form since back from a winter break (his C&D second in June was a remote one).
9th (7) Longuerue
5Darragh KeenanRobert EdderyNever showed on AW 18 days ago but she'd been delivered with a well-timed run to win an amateur jockeys' race at Yarmouth (1m6f, good to firm) the time before; not the easiest of rides but is capable of going well.
13th (15) White Coco
3George RookeDavid SimcockMinor handicap form so far, at 1m3f-1m6f; makes limited appeal up again in trip with cheekpieces added.
(3) Home And Dry
6Dougie CostelloThomas FaulknerAW winner at 2m before absence; retains ability but others looked more likely winners at the time he was hampered on Kempton AW in June (first-time visor, cheekpieces return); up against it back on turf.
10th (6) Taxiing
4Nicola CurrieDavid EvansBoth wins on AW (1m6f and 2m) but she acts on turf and is closely matched with Hawk Jet on a recent Salisbury run (1m6f); has possibilities but could probably do with the ground drying out.
(9) Blenheim Lad
4Kieran O'NeillCamilla PoultonMaiden; best recent effort when runner-up in 2m Wolverhampton AW handicap in April but lesser efforts since leave him with work to do.
3rd (10) Triple Nickle
8Aidan KeeleyBernard LlewellynHasn't had many chances over this sort of trip on turf and after just getting touched off at Ffos Las (good to soft) in July she won a shade cosily there (2m, heavy) 16 days ago; back up 2lb and Aidan Keeley can't claim 3lb this time but still of interest.
4th (8) Humaniste
9Taylor FisherJoe TickleAdded a sixth point win in May and has been giving it a good go back on the Flat since, keeping on stoutly into third of nine to Triple Nickle at Ffos Las (2m, heavy) recently; his proven stamina makes him a big player.
2nd (4) Tigerten
7Jack DoughtyMichael BlakeLatest win in May 2023 but running well in staying events for Kevin Frost in early summer; has C&D form and has a good chance of being involved for new yard if leaving off the tongue-tie doesn't hold him back.
5th (5) Hawk Jet
4Charles BishopEmma LavelleHas had few suitable chances on the Flat and over hurdles but she seemed to stay 1m6f when third to a stablemate at Salisbury (good to firm; has soft-ground form over shorter) last time; another 3f to travel here but has some potential.
12th (13) Amongst The Stars
3Lewis EdmundsDaniel & Claire KublerLightly raced filly; has improved since upped in trip and she didn't appear to lose through lack of stamina over the extended 1m5f on Chelmsford AW last time; new trip back on turf but it looks worth a go.
1st (2) Calshot Spit
4Rose DawesSheena WestGood start for new yard, making all and drawing clear at Lingfield (1m5f, good) and he ran up against a big improver on handicap hurdle debut at Bangor recently; trip query over new trip on pedigree but it's worth a go.

Calshot Spit, in excellent form for his new yard, and Hawk Jet, who appeared well suited by the step up to 1m6f at Salisbury, both make some appeal but those stout stayers TRIPLE NICKLE and Humaniste, first and third at Ffos Las last time out, should be suited by the demands of this race and are preferred. Robeam is also worth a mention.[Emily Weber]

2Rose DawesJack ChannonClose third of four on debut at Lingfield (5f, AW) in April but form has gone the wrong way since and she finished down the field on last month's nursery debut at Chepstow (5f, good to firm) in a first-time hood.
4th (12) Emporess
2Lewis EdmundsRod Millman0-5 but encouragement can be taken from her sixth-place finish in a recent nursery at Southwell (6f, AW), where she raced wide and faded late on; each-way possibilities now back down in trip.
1st (6) Miss Show Down
2John FahyClive CoxDown the field on two of her three starts, when pulling hard each time; however, in between she was a good second over this C&D (good to soft) and she's a player on nursery debut if tapping into that promise.
3rd (2) Raison d'Etre
2Charles BishopEve Johnson HoughtonDisplayed promise on good to soft on debut and won at Sandown (5f, good) in July on third start; however, only fifth of seven on last month's nursery debut at Chepstow (5f, good to firm) and needs a bigger run today.
(7) Bow Street
2Kieran O'NeillKevin Philippart De FoyHe's better than he showed on last month's nursery/AW debut at Southwell (6f) and he may appreciate the drop back in trip, but it's hard to be confident in his claims after that latest performance.
(5) Yakfeek
2Alec VoikhanskyRichard HannonShowed promise among his first three starts and retains potential; however, this headstrong sort could do with settling better than when fifth of seven on recent nursery debut at Chelmsford (5f, AW), where he also hung right.
(8) Solar Edge
2Gina ManganChristopher MasonImproved upon his first three runs when winning on last month's nursery debut at Chepstow (5f, good to soft; led/prominent); has a 5lb higher mark to defy in this more competitive race but he could continue to progress.
(11) Sabrimento
2Olivia TubbBrian MeehanNot devoid of promise over 5f in April; the drop back in trip may help on this third nursery start, having been soundly beaten over 7f the last twice, but he has something to prove nevertheless.
(10) Ellomate
2George RookeRichard Hughes0-6 and possible he's best suited by AW, but he's run well to be placed in 6f nurseries at Kempton (AW) and Southwell (AW) the last twice, showing pace each time, and can be in the mix if transferring that form back to turf.
(4) Hettie Jack
2Darragh KeenanGeorge ScottWon 5f seller at Goodwood (good) in June on second start; 0-4 since but has run some good races (including on good to soft) and looked stretched by 6f last time; in with a chance now back at 5f on nursery debut.
(3) Rogue Bullet
2Jack DoughtyJack JonesFourth in Yarmouth maiden (5f, good) in July and that form has worked out nicely; not disgraced in sales race at Newmarket (6f, soft) last time and begins handicap life on a realistic mark; he's one to consider.
2nd (1) Nala Star
2Trevor WhelanOllie SangsterTwice runner-up here in summer and got off the mark at fifth attempt in first-time cheekpieces in Catterick maiden last month (5f, good; unraced on softer); makes nursery debut and could have more to offer in the headgear.

Nursery newcomer MISS SHOW DOWN has been very up and down so far but was a good second over C&D in June and earns the vote. Rogue Bullet is feared most on account of his fourth at Yarmouth in a maiden that was worked out well. Solar Edge made a winning nursery debut at Chepstow, while Ellomate is another player if transferring his good recent AW form back to turf.[Ben Hutton]

5Ray DawsonGrace HarrisRunning well since this combination of accessories was enlisted, winning over C&D and at Chepstow with those victories surrounded by solid efforts; not much margin for error off this mark though and he's not the only front-runner in the field.
(3) Kiss And Run
3Kieran O'NeillRachel Cook & John BridgerProminent racer; game winner of a Goodwood handicap last month but she could only manage third of four back there 11 days ago; career best required to take this.
2nd (4) Level Up
5Millie WonnacottDavid EvansMultiple winner, including two of his last four starts; still has some handicapping scope and he's not discounted; headgear absent again today.
(2) Danger Alert
4Aidan KeeleyGeorge BakerThrown in on last year's best and there was a welcome return to form when second of seven at Sandown on Friday (5f, soft; cheekpieces first time); that improved showing was predicted by the betting and he's one to take seriously.
(5) Dashing Harry
3John FahyClive CoxHeavy-ground winner as a 2yo; ran well behind a handicap blot over 5f at Windsor in April but that hasn't been a springboard to better things; down in the weights but not totally convincing.
(7) Caribbean Wind
3Charles BishopJack ChannonTwo creditable handicap runs have followed her Ripon novice win last month; she'll need to raise her game to defy this mark but, after just six starts, that's quite possible.
3rd (8) Mumayaz
5Jack DoughtyTony CarrollIn and out on turf this season but he's slipped to a good mark and he's the type to pop up soon; whether it will be over 5f remains to be seen though.
1st (1) Glamorous Breeze
6Gina ManganChristopher MasonStrong-travelling mare who has been placed on four occasions this year; becoming well treated and although she will need to raise her game judged on recent efforts, this could set up nicely for her.

Level Up comes here in good form and ought to be involved, while the unexposed Caribbean Wind still has time to do better and Danger Alert returned to form at Sandown on Friday. GLAMOROUS BREEZE (nap) has been in and out this season but she's down in the weights and, with a drying forecast in her favour, could find that this sets up nicely for her.[Paul Smith]

5th (10) Arinagour
2Rhys ClutterbuckPaul & Oliver Cole22-1, he raced prominently before backing out of it late on at Newbury nine days ago (7f, soft); that wasn't the worst of starts and this is easier.

3rd (7) Many Men
2Luke CattonJim BoyleSlowly away when runner-up at 4-6 in a Newmarket seller (7f, good) and moved on for £10,000; again didn't break great when beaten further in a maiden at Epsom; on that initial effort, he's capable of a big run in this company.
7th (1) Belgravian
2Callum HutchinsonAndrew Balding40,000euros yearling; sixth foal; half-brother to winners Magna Mater (French 7f 2yo; RPR 100), Fun With Flags (French 7.5f-1m2f; 99), Quantum Impact (6f 2yo/1m; 96) and Rose Barton (1m/8.5f inc USA; 95); dam maiden 1m1f-1m4f (70); in a top yard so the market can guide.

Not a strong maiden, highlighted by the fact that Many Men sets the standard on his second in a seller. It's worth chancing the newcomers, with BELGRAVIAN preferred to Super Mirage and Girls Night Out.[Alistair Jones]

(6) Troubadour Blue
2William CarverJamie OsborneOut of a Listed/Group 2 winner; 14-1, made a low-key start over 7f on Chelmsford AW last month and although he could come on plenty for the run the more likely outcome is that he'll need this, too.
(5) Kilpatrick Prince
2Kieran O'NeillAlice HaynesReached the frame on second start, when upped to 7f at Musselburgh in August, but it wasn't strong form and he's another who would prefer the ground to dry out.
(8) Up The Anti
2Jack DoughtyJack JonesTough task in a valuable York sales race last time but she hadn't done enough on her 6f debut previously to make her of interest at this level.
(7) Tempted
2Rhys ClutterbuckOllie Sangster4-1 for her Kempton AW debut (7f; newcomers' event) where she was never really in sight of the leaders but kept on quite nicely in the straight; no surprise if she does a lot better here.
2nd (2) Master Technician
2Lewis EdmundsRod MillmanUnfancied 33-1 shot for Windsor debut over 1m (good to firm) this month but he ran well for a long way and should improve; this greater test at the trip on slower ground puts the pressure on.
(9) Saliko
2Darragh KeenanRae GuestLate May foal and she was friendless in the market before her Kempton debut over 1m last month but she came home strongly to take a close third; well-connected filly who should improve; yard has healthy 25% strike-rate with older horses here in the last five years (0-1 with 2yos).
1st (3) The Green Mile
2Charles BishopSimon & Ed Crisford17,000euros foal; Waldgeist half-brother to four winners including Dazzling Darren (1m2f-1m5f including AW; RPR 76); dam finished last both starts over 6f (19), sister to 6f Group 3 winner Heeraat; interesting newcomer for the Crisfords who don't run many 2yos here (0-4 in last five years) but their record with juveniles means a market check is a must.
3rd (10) Tap Dancer
2Dougie CostelloMarcus TregoningMinor form on second start but she confirmed debut promise when sticking to her guns at Goodwood (1m, soft) last time; this stiffer test at the trip can suit and her ability to cope with a slow surface is another plus.

2Ray DawsonJames TateNever near the leaders but nevertheless looked capable of better in a useful 7f Epsom maiden (good) on debut; slightly disappointing he couldn't get competitive at Beverley in August but he remains of interest upped in trip for yard in form.

The Crisfords' newcomer The Green Mile could be very interesting if the market likes him but GREAT DAVID, a slight letdown at Beverley last time out, is given another chance to show he can improve on an encouraging start in an Epsom race that has worked out well. Tap Dancer is coming along nicely and should have no trouble with a stiff test at 1m so she can be the main danger ahead of Saliko and Master Technician.[Emily Weber]

5Alec VoikhanskyJimmy FoxScored over C&D (soft) off today's mark last autumn and returned from layoff with two good efforts in the spring (the latter in a higher grade); off for another three months since but still makes appeal; hood added.

4Ray DawsonAdrian WintleIn the frame in all four starts since winning Ffos Las classified (1m, good) in refitted cheekpieces in June, most recently when close second in first-time blinkers at Chepstow (1m, good) 12 days ago; nudged up 2lb for that but likely to be on the premises again.

Dappled Light, Daany and Hawajes are all in good form, while Albus Anne can feature if fully revved up after her three-month break. However, two well-handicapped alternatives to consider are KING OF THE DANCE, who gets away from heavy ground and has cheekpieces refitted, and Ravenglass, who is suited by this C&D and sports a new headgear combination. Bernard Llewellyn's runner gets the vote.[Chris Wilson]

4Aidan KeeleyBernard LlewellynStarted off for Bernard Llewellyn with some very respectable efforts this summer and has become well handicapped on that form but ought to have been well suited by the heavy ground when soundly beaten on his last two appearances; needs a boost from first-time cheekpieces.
(2) Sisters In The Sky
5Kieran O'NeillGrace HarrisPlaced twice off marks higher than today's since his ready C&D win (firm) off 1lb lower in July, and his recent defeat on heavy ground can easily be overlooked; high on the list.
(9) Diamond Cottage
7Charlie BennettMalcolm SaundersYet to win this year and evidently not as good as she was but posted a sound effort when second at Chepstow (6f, good) recently and is also effective at this track; could have a say.
(7) Neptune Legend
5Jack DoughtyTony CarrollWon C&D (good to firm) classified in June and ran quite well in that grade at Lingfield (7f, AW) a fortnight ago but he's not very consistent and always comes with risks attached, given he often starts slowly and/or races too freely; visor replaces cheekpieces.
(5) Malham Tarn Cove
5Dougie CostelloSteph HollinsheadBegan this season in good form, most notably when winning over C&D (good) in May; didn't fire at Catterick last month but returns here on a workable mark and enters calculations.
3rd (3) Autumn Angel
5Molly GunnTony CarrollKept on for third at Leicester (7f, good to firm) last month, after a break, and is also suited by this C&D but she ought to have coped better with heavy ground on her latest outing and seemingly on the downgrade.
(1) Time Patrol
4Nicola CurrieTony CarrollRaced mainly over 7f+ but he came from the rear to win C&D (firm) classified last month, after a break, and also ran quite well at Lingfield (6f, AW) a few days later; contender if he gets a good pace to aim at.

This can go to C&D winner SISTERS IN THE SKY, who is excused his recent defeat on heavy ground and has quickly dropped back to a workable mark. Malham Tarn Cove is also better than he showed on his latest appearance and is second choice, while Diamond Cottage recently shaped as though her turn might be near again.[Chris Wilson]
