13:47 Catterick Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Course specialist Redrosezorro produced a game effort from the front when second over track and trip last time out and he merits respect after a 2lb rise, as does Variety Island, who is now 4lb higher than when winning over C&D last month. However, drawn well in stall four, last year's victor OBEE JO could repeat the feat despite being 3lb higher in the handicap this time around. Others to note include Temper Trap and Rain Cap.

Multiple course winner MUTANAASEQ has been a chance by the handicapper and gets the nod in an open-looking handicap. Saisons d'Or and Variety Island head the list of dangers.

The vote goes to last year's winner OBEE JO, ahead of Mutanaaseq and Beylerbeyi.

14:00 Hereford Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

PYFFO scored readily over an extended 2m4f at Market Rasen on his penultimate start before being collared close home by a subsequent winner in a Warwick handicap most recently. Pitched back into novice company, he can return to winning ways. Point-to-point winner Backinaction showed enough when finishing fourth on his second start under Rules last month to suggest that he can be competitive in a race of this nature, while Locken Lady also commands attention, though the step up in trip asks a question of her.

It's hard to look beyond PYFFO, who opened his account over hurdles at Market Rasen in March and found only a subsequent winner too strong at Warwick last month. He can regain the winning thread at the expense of Backinaction, who left his hurdling debut form well behind when fourth at Taunton recently and could well take another step forward. Locken Lady, who has finished runner-up twice in this sphere already, completes the shortlist.

The most obvious answer is PYFFO, who followed his wide-margin maiden win in March with a good handicap second last month.

14:17 Catterick Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The form of MONFRID's Lingfield second in November received a timely boost when the winner landed an Ascot handicap from a mark of 80 on Friday, so with further progress likely now switched to turf, he is fancied to shed the maiden tag. Disclosure finished a creditable second at Wolverhampton in November and the Advertise filly appeals as a leading contender now upped in trip, while Phoenix Of Dreams, who caught the eye with a staying-on fourth over this trip at Thirsk 23 days ago, heads the remainder.

Preference is for DISCLOSURE, who acquitted herself well in a couple of starts over shorter last year and remains with potential. Phoenix of Dreams and Monfrid rate the principal dangers.

Preference is for PHOENIX OF DREAMS, who made a promising debut when fourth in what was probably a good Thirsk maiden last month.

14:30 Hereford Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Lightly raced for her age, the step up in trip may prove the key to LIGHTFOOT LADY. Nicky Henderson's seven-year-old was last seen finishing third behind a potentially useful sort at Doncaster in February, and she shades preference over this extra yardage on her handicap debut. Paddy De Pole arrives on a hat-trick and commands the utmost respect, for all that a career-high mark poses a question to him, while Leylak rates as a fascinating contender sporting first-time cheekpieces on his stable debut.

PADDY DE POLE is improving nicely for his leading yard and, up just 2 lb for Wincanton, the hat-trick beckons. Lightfoot Lady also upped her game last time and this mark ought to be within range given she won a bumper, with Mamoon Star another to consider back from a break.

Handicap debutante LIGHTFOOT LADY kept on nicely for third on her latest outing and can improve again over this longer trip.

14:47 Catterick Handicap (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MARBUZET found steady progress last season and was far from disgraced on his return at Southwell last month. The cheekpieces tried that day are replaced by his customary blinkers, worn for each of his four successes, and it would come as no surprise to see him step forward today. Greek Giant has been running well on the all-weather recently and, given that he is unexposed over staying trips, there could be more to come back on the grass. Animato could have a say and it would be folly to rule out the well-handicapped Red Force One, for all that he does need to improve on recent performances.

GREEK GIANT is still relatively unexposed as a stayer and will appreciate the step back up in trip here. He can resume winning ways. Animato and Marbuzet look the likeliest dangers.

The choice is GREEK GIANT (nap) who has been running well on the AW and is equally effective on turf. Marbuzet is next best.

15:05 Hereford Handicap Chase (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

IMPERIAL BEDE was last seen finishing a creditable second in a tactically-run affair at Southwell and, eased 2lb for that performance, it would be no surprise if he were able to go one place better this time. Imac Wood had a legitimate excuse when pulling up in a similar contest at Fakenham in February and is better judged on his January C&D success. Cartonne looked a progressive handicap chaser to follow when notching up two victories in the winter. However, that improvement appears to have plateaued and he may have to settle for minor honours.

FIX IT ALL figures off a handy mark and made an encouraging return from a break at Fontwell last month. He gets the nod in a tricky-looking contest. Hall Lane and Cartonne can also make their presence felt.

Top of the list is IMPERIAL BEDE (nap), who has dropped 3lb since his creditable fourth at Sandown two starts ago.

15:17 Catterick Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ZAPHEA built on her encouraging third-placed stable bow at Ayr last month when landing the spoils at Musselburgh four days later. Iain Jardine's filly won a shade cosily that day and she's taken to defy a 5lb rise in the ratings. The biggest threat may emerge from recent Beverley runner-up Willolarupi, who showed more verve in first-time blinkers and races off the same mark, while seasonal debutant Alfa Moonstone returns to the C&D of her only triumph.

The one who appeals most is WILLOLARUPI, who was worn down in the shadow of the post at Beverley last week and is taken to go one better off the same mark with this sharper track likely to play to his strengths. Keldeo has a good chance of reversing recent Musselburgh placings with Zaphea on these revised terms and she rates the main danger. Desert Master is not without each-way hope.

This can go to WILLOLARUPI, who didn't quite get home over a stiff 5f last week but can fare better on this easier track.

15:35 Hereford Handicap Chase (Class 4) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A 72-day break and a switch to fences appeared to revitalise last month's C&D scorer Brianna Rose and is sure to remain competitive off only 3lb higher. However, last-time-out Taunton winner ANNIE WICKS has more scope for improvement in this sphere and Evan Williams' mare is taken to defy an 8lb higher mark. Dicey Rielly stood little chance in a Listed hurdle at Perth in April and the seven-year-old also warrants a second look on her return to chasing.

It could just be worth siding with DICEY RILEY who boasts a good strike rate over fences and she ought to be all the better for her stiff reappearance assignment over hurdles at Perth 3 weeks ago. Whatsdastory, returned to a soundner surface, is another to consider, with Annie Wicks and the returning Ma Belle Noire, on chase debut, also worth a look.

The suggestion is I AM GONNA BE, who drops in grade after travelling well for a long way at Cheltenham last month.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The hat-trick seeking Sherdil arrives in fine fettle having completed a double in a classified stakes at Newcastle in March. However, the five-year-old returns to handicap company off a mark that proved beyond him at Wolverhampton in December. With that in mind, it may be worth taking a chance on his stablemate BIRKENHEAD. Paul Midgley's gelding, a C&D winner here two years ago, returns to turf on a career-low mark and he looks capable of succeeding at this level. Golden Rainbow is also noted.

SHERDIL has hit the target on the all-weather at Newcastle the last twice and, still on a workable mark, he is taken to complete the hat-trick back on turf. Having slipped to a dangerous mark, Birkenhead is second choice ahead of Golden Rainbow, who was hot on the heels of the selection on his latest start. The Grey Lass won't be far away if ready to roll following a break.

Off a handy mark back on turf, BIRKENHEAD is taken to register a second C&D success. Golden Gal is second choice.

16:05 Hereford Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

KICK UP A STORM had little difficulty in dispatching a subsequent winner when opening his account on his handicap bow at Exeter last month. Although Paul Nicholls' charge does have a 11lb hike in the handicap to contend with, he is likely to prove a warm order to follow up. The biggest threat may be posed by Face D'music, who finished a close-up second at Ffos Las on Tuesday, while Behind The Curtain may fare best of the remainder.

KICK UP A STORM was much improved in first-time cheekpieces when making a successful handicap debut at Exeter and he's fancied to go in again at the likely expense of Face d'Music, who arrives on the back of a solid showing. Soldier of Destiny should benefit from the return to hurdling, so he can't be ruled out.

Far too good for a next-time-out winner when scoring on his recent handicap debut, KICK UP A STORM could still be on a very good mark.

16:17 Catterick Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

An unlucky second when not getting the clearest of runs and having to switch two furlongs out here over further last month, TWOFORTHEGUTTER may be able to gain compensation on the drop back in trip. The four-year-old is narrowly preferred to recent C&D third Stellarmasterpiece, as well as Prince Hector, who has strong claims on his penultimate effort at Wolverhampton. Foursome and Propagation are capable of being in the shake-up as well.

Fourteen-race maiden TWOFORTHEGUTTER deserves to get his head in front and he is taken to do just that on the back of a solid second over 1¾m here recently. Night Life showed signs of a revival on her reappearance at Wolverhampton and she will be a threat if able to build on that. Prince Hector and Stellarmasterpiece both make some each-way appeal.

Although Twoforthegutter ran well here last time he has yet to win a race and BLAZER TWO, who goes well fresh, is preferred.

16:25 Roscommon Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ELZEM shaped with promise when fourth on his debut at the Curragh a week ago and may be able to step forward now. The Elzaam gelding stayed on to finish fourth then and this step up in trip looks an obvious move. Experience is always a help at this time of the year. Colin Keane chooses All Right By Me from the Ger Lyons-trained duo. The Bungle Inthejungle colt cost 25,000 euro as a foal and is a half-brother to five winners. Jessica Harrington's newcomer Lady O looks another to note in the market. The Australia filly cost 30,000 euro as a yearling and is a half-sister to the Group 2 placed Dark Rose Angel.

ELZEM looks the one to beat after a promising start at the Curragh 7 days ago. Lady O, All Right By Me and I Am Me are all very interesting newcomers who nned keeping an eye on in xthe market.

LADY O makes most appeal, from a family of 2yo winners but also likely to have the stamina for this trip. Her yard remains in fine form

16:30 Windsor Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HE'S GOT GAME did well to finish second over C&D last month despite taking a keen hold, and the form of that race has worked out extremely well in the interim. A 2lb rise for that effort could prove lenient and Hugo Palmer's charge can get off the mark at the main expense of Let's Get Em, who improved from first to second start this season when runner-up at Brighton over 7f. Wolverhampton scorer Cadogan Gardens and Global Asset cannot be ruled out either.

HE'S GOT GAME was much improved on handicap debut over C&D last time and he might be able to better that second if allowed his own way in front. Let's Get Em arrives on the back of a solid showing and Global Asset is a potential improver, so they're both dangers.

On the back of a rock-solid effort over C&D, HE'S GOT GAME (nap) has the strongest claims. Cadogan Gardens is second choice.

16:35 Hereford Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Although there is room for improvement in the jumping department, the hat-trick seeking GOLDEN MAVERICK is hard to oppose. The Zarak gelding was value for further when completing a double on his handicap debut over hurdles at Musselburgh last month and a 7lb higher mark shouldn't be the ceiling of his ability. Fellow in-form rival Swift Hawk is feared most after his recent close-up second at Taunton, although the four-year-old would make more appeal over further. Got Grey may chase the duo home.

This looks between SWIFT HAWK and Golden Maverick, with the former marginally preferred on account of the fact that he may be better equipped than Jamie Snowden's charge should this become tactical, which is a plausible scenario. Golden Maverick is 2-4 over hurdles and remains open to improvement but 2m round here on drying ground could find him out. Got Grey can claim minor place money.

It's hard to see beyond progressive 4yo GOLDEN MAVERICK, who won a competitive race last month and now bids to complete a hat-trick.

16:40 Killarney Maiden Hurdle 22f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

KUDASHEVA was an expensive purchase after winning a point-to-point on yielding ground. She has some solid form in the book over hurdles including a couple of creditable efforts against geldings at Navan. Testing ground may have been a problem when she was a disappointing favourite twice last year and she has probably been put away to wait for better underfoot conditions. She has form over 2m4f and should stay this trip. Innatendue holds the same rating as the selection but has to concede 8lb. She will like better ground too but is not sure to improve for this distance. Dual bumper winner Roedora is related to a useful hurdler and is one to note on jumping debut.

This has an open feel to it and it may pay to chance the stamina of ROEDORA upped markedly in trip for this hurdles debut against her own sex given her ability in bumpers. Kudasheva, Innatendue and Jokers 'N' Clowns head the opposition.

Better ground will suit Innatendue but that is also likely to be true of KUDASHEVA who is rated the same but receives 8lb

16:47 Catterick Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LANGHOLM has had a strong start to the season without getting his head in front and he must hold every chance if building upon a narrow defeat over 7f here last time out. The course regular is now 5lb lower than his last success and he may have too much for Mokaatil, who has done well on the all-weather of late. A highly-creditable third at Windsor on his return, Ghathanfar is entitled to be thereabouts, along with Holbache and Huddle Up.

HAIL SEZER's record when fresh is good and he could be the answer to this tricky-looking handicap. Geoffrey Harker's representative resumes on a workable mark and he shades preference ahead of Langholm, who has acquitted himself well on each of his three starts this season, twice going close over 7f here. The 9-y-os Mokaatil and Zargun are both likely to be on the premises, while Ghathanfar is another with an each-way chance.

These conditions are ideal for GHATHANFAR, who ran a sound race at Windsor on his reappearance and has the plum draw here.

16:55 Roscommon Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

PLAY IT AGAIN ZAAM was an easy winner at Gowran Park the other day and it's no surprise to see him out again quickly under a penalty. The Elzaam gelding pulled away to win by a wide margin five days ago and is set for a 13lb hike for that performance. That was on heavy ground and the predicted downpours on race-day should help. Boadicea Belle also comes here in winning form, having scored on the all-weather at Dundalk last month. It will be interesting to see if she can transfer that to turf now. Barnhill Rose, fifth behind the selection five days ago, likes it around here and could get closer now.

PLAY IT AGAIN ZAAM took a long time to get off the mark but he did it in fine style at Gowran on Wednesday and on that evidence, he's well-in under a penalty. Gosford and Boadica Belle are feared most.

A 7l winner on heavy at Gowran last week, PLAY IT AGAIN ZAAM (nap) is due to go up 13lb but races with a 7lb penalty today.

17:00 Windsor Maiden (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A highly-promising second on her debut over C&D last month despite swerving right at the start, WOODHAY WHISPER sets the standard and improvement is expected on that effort. Tom Ward's filly is preferred to Storm Call, who also ran an excellent first time out over 5f at Southwell, when not getting the clearest of runs and keeping on for second late in the piece. A well-bred daughter of Blue Point, Pouting looks to be the pick of the newcomers, while Li Ban is another to note.

STORM CALL showed plenty of ability amidst greenness when runner-up at Southwell on debut a fortnight ago and, sure to have derived plenty from that initial effort, Karl Burke's filly is taken to go a place better at the expense of debutante Pouting, whose stable has had a fantastic start to 2024. Another newcomer Smallbrook Lane ticks plenty of boxes on paper and she can edge third over Woodhay Whisper.

Storm Call and WOODHAY WHISPER both showed plenty of promise with their debut seconds and the marginal vote goes to the latter.

17:10 Killarney Maiden Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

WINNING SMUT is interesting here after warming up for this with a respectable run in a 1m2f maiden at Cork which was contested by some useful three-year-olds. Michael Hourigan's charge has plenty of hurdling experience and twice ran well in novice contests here last year as well as finishing a running-on sixth in the Lartigue Handicap Hurdle at Listowel. This trip will suit him well. Park The Giant was third to subsequent three-time Grade 1 winner Dancing City at Navan in December and may have needed his latest run at Tipperary after three months off. Hackney Hill shaped with promise in a hot maiden at Fairyhouse and is another to consider.

JET SETTING JIM was really strong at the finish when landing a 2m bumper in the autumn and upped in trip on this hurdles debut, he gets the tentative nod. Park The Giant and Crooked Tannie are feared most.

After a nice run on the Flat to tee him up, the experienced \bWINNING SMUT\ is chosen; he twice ran well in novice company here last year

17:25 Roscommon Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

GOLDEN DAYS had some decent placed form at Dundalk over the winter and coming here off a short break she could strike again off this kind of mark. The Canford Cliffs mare is versatile ground-wise, having won on soft at Gowran Park last season. On Our Radar is another with placed form from the all-weather that has to come into calculations. The Elzaam gelding ran well over a mile at Dundalk when last seen in early February and this kind of trip looks ideal. Atbay has posted some solid efforts already on the turf this season and he should be thereabouts again off his basement mark.

A dual winner on turf last summer, GOLDEN DAYS was in good form on AW when last seen during the winter and he could be worth siding with to hit the ground running back from a break in a race lacking depth. On Our Radar, Notforalongtime and Atbay head up the list of threats.

A consistent mare on AW and turf, GOLDEN DAYS is still 3lb above her last winning mark but can be relied upon to run her race.

17:35 Windsor Stakes (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Slight preference is for MASTER BUILDER, who ran an eye-catching race on debut over C&D when slowly away before staying on late in the day to grab second. With improvement expected, the son of Mastercraftsmen should be able to go one better, with Yarmouth runner-up Lennox looking best placed to chase him home on the rise in distance. Thyer is another to consider despite having to shoulder a 7lb penalty for a comfortable victory at Thirsk last September.

MASTER BUILDER made an eye-catching debut after a slow start when second over C&D first time out and, with improvement expected, he can get off the mark at the second attemmpt. Lennox is a big danger and previous winners Machete Beach and Thyer warrant consideration.

Provided the promise of his C&D effort is backed up, MASTER BUILDER could well go one better. Lennox is second choice.

17:40 Killarney Maiden Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

NAS NA RIOGH had some creditable placed form over the winter including a second to the smart Dancing City at Navan. Back from a two-month break, he appreciated better ground at Tipperary last month when a well-supported winner over this trip. The handicapper raised his mark by 5lb on the strength of that performance and the Walk In The Park gelding can follow up here. My Lyka won twice on the Flat in France and was bought for 110,000 Euros at Arqana in July. He has been given plenty of time to acclimatise before this hurdling debut. Undeniable Alibi has been in good form over 2m and his pedigree suggests he may improve for this stiffer test of stamina.

MY LYKA showed a fairly useful level of form in France and has joined a top stable now, so he's worth a chance to make a successful start over hurdles for alll that there is stern opposition in the shape of Undeniable Alibi and Nas Na Riogh.

Those with experience set a fair standard and NAS NA RIOGH, well backed when opening his account at Tipperary, can build on that.

17:55 Roscommon Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Any rain would be a concern for May Night who ran out a cosy winner at Cork on Friday evening. That was his first success on turf, with his seven previous wins coming on all-weather surfaces, whereas ORANDI appreciates a bit of cut in the ground so the weather looks to be turning in his favour. He sprang a surprise when scoring at the Curragh a week ago but did it in good style and could still have a bit up his sleeve, despite an 8lb rise. Brains ran well when third on his return to the grass at Leopardstown last time and could be place material.

A winner at Chelmsford in March, MAY NIGHT followed up under a similarly positive ride when taking a 12-runner Cork handicap (1m) 3 days ago and he looks a big player turned out quickly in his hat-trick bid. Fellow last-time-out winner Orandi and Rocksbury Lad head the dangers, with Arch Enemy another to consider.

Orandi has an obvious chance but ARCH ENEMY was a closing third to him last week and the selection is better off at the weights.

18:05 Windsor Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The Andrew Balding stable have been in terrific form of late and CUBAN MELODY could provide them with further success today. The daughter of Havana Grey has weakened late on both of her starts over 7f, so this drop to a sprint trip could see the filly sustain her finishing effort. William Haggas' Mono River was relatively weak in the market when occupying the runner-up spot at Yarmouth nine days ago and a similar level of performance will bring him firmly into the picture. Penalised Southwell winner Federal Envoy and newcomer Laguna Boy are just two others to consider.

MONO RIVER took an almighty step forward from his debut effort when finding a short-priced favourite too strong at Yarmouth earlier this month and with more to come, William Haggas' charge can make it third time lucky. Cuban Melody has shaped with plenty of promise in both runs so far so she heads up the dangers, with Federal Envoy and Hector both worth keeping an eye on, too.

Andrew Balding's CUBAN MELODY sets the standard on her third at Chelmsford last time and is open to more progress on this drop to 6f.

18:10 Killarney Handicap Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

PARK OF KINGS won twice over 2m in the autumn and continued to run well off his revised mark subsequently including when fifth in a 3m contest at the Dublin Racing Festival. He was just getting into contention over this trip at Punchestown when badly hampered by a faller two out and may gain compensation here in first-time cheekpieces. His trainer had a double at Cork over the weekend. Sea Music won a Ballinrobe maiden on hurdling debut last summer and ran well in a rated novice next time. Back from seven months off, he could go well on handicap debut. Pitwood Road has been doing well in Britain and may be well treated.

There should be better to come from the unexposed SEA MUSIC now that he ventures down the handicap route and Emmet Mullins's charge earns the vote. Pitwood Road also makes her handicap debut and she is second choice ahead of Park of Kings, who wasn't able to show what he can do at Punchestown recently and he was in good form prior to that. Zoffanien is also worthy of consideration.

Paul Nolan's PARK OF KINGS gets the vote. He was looking progressive before Punchestown where his chance was ruined by bad interference

18:20 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

C&D winner DANZART arrives on the back of a close-up second at Wetherby and Stella Barclay's gelding ticks plenty of the right boxes. The six-year-old is effectively racing off a 4lb lower mark if taking Jack Enright's 5lb claim into account and a second victory on the all-weather could be on the cards. Big Dream is feared most after his recent second over track and trip, ahead of last-time-out winner Red Walls.

BIG DREAM found only one who bounced right back to their best too good when runner-up over C&D 14 days ago (nicely clear of remainder) and he looks of interest operating from the same mark. Danzart and the selection's stablemate, Circles, are others to consider.

All of these come with an element of risk. BIG DREAM is on a harsh enough mark but he ran well here last time and he could drop lucky.

18:25 Roscommon Stakes 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

NAVAL FORCE won a decent maiden in Killarney on his debut last September before finding things a bit tougher in Group 3 company on his second outing at Leopardstown the following month. The handicapper has him on a mark of 93 and this looks like a nice opportunity on his seasonal debut. Similarly Neski Shereiski won on his debut, at Dundalk, before finishing last of five in a decent little conditions race won by Bremen at Cork last month. He's another son of Churchill and looks the danger. Action Plan won a Gowran Park handicap last time and could be the one for the trifecta with the maidens in the field looking up against it.

NAVAL FORCE found Grade 3 company a bit too much at Leopardstown during the autumn but had created a favourable impression when winning on debut prior to that so he could be the way to go on reappearance. Jack Spriggins shaped pleasingly on his return to action and is feared most, ahead of Neski Sherelski.

Naval Force and Neski Sherelski are feared but there's a strong suspicion that JACK SPRIGGINS is better than he's shown so far.

18:35 Windsor Handicap (Class 3) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Laoisman completed his hat-trick from a 3lb lower mark at Wolverhampton last month and he could yet have more to offer back on turf, but it is KATEY KONTENT who gets the vote. Clive Cox's filly bumped into an improver on her final start as a three-year-old in October, and a 1lb rise in the ratings looks unlikely to prevent a bold showing. Leap Abroad was on target at Leicester 16 days ago and he remains well treated off 3lb higher.

LAOISMAN is forced into a better race but he hasn't looked back since dropped to 6f so the 4-timer may well be forthcoming having been raised just 3 lb for his reappearance win. Katey Kontent and Executive Decision both return for in-form yards and are a couple of potential threats.

The vote goes to the progressive LAOISMAN who completed a hat-trick at Wolverhampton last month and a 3lb rise for that win looks fair.

18:40 Killarney Conditions Chase 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Class act in the race GENTLEMAN DU MEE is not always the most reliable and has stamina to prove over 2m4f but a sharp, flat track such as this will help in that respect. Second of three finishers in the Champion Chase at Cheltenham, the Saint Des Saints gelding has had his last eight races in Grade One contests and is twice a winner at the highest level. Visionarian was a very capable good-ground performer for Peter Fahey and is interesting after a break on his first start for in-form Gavin Cromwell. Galway Plate winner Ash Tree Meadow and last year's Ryanair fourth French Dynamite, who is best in at the weights, have claims on their best form.

This represents a good opportunity for GENTLEMAN DE MEE, a dual Grade 1 winner over fences and a fine second in the Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival on his penultimate start. He unseated rider at Punchestown last time but he's generally a sound jumper and he should prove too good for Visionarian and Ash Tree Meadow.

Even though he's a bit of a law unto himself, GENTLEMAN DU MEE is hard to oppose; his last eight starts have been at Grade 1 level

18:50 Wolverhampton Stakes (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MISS BIELSA justified strong support in the market when scything her way through the field to make a winning bow over an extended 1m1f here in January. The daughter of Nathaniel should relish this step up in trip and she is taken to maintain her unbeaten record at the expense of Silent Glance. Ralph Beckett's filly boasts a similar profile and commands plenty of respect after her debut victory at Kempton just two days before the selection. Loving Look also enters calculations in receipt of weight from the two main protagonists.

LOVING LOOK shaped well when third on recent Windsor debut and can take advantage of the weight she gets from once-raced, penalised-winners Silent Glance and Miss Bielsa, who are also open to improvement after breaks.

Miss Bielsa and Silent Glance impressed on their debuts but LOVING LOOK was quite an eyecatcher at Windsor.

18:55 Roscommon Handicap 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A deterioration in the predicted good going is entirely possible with plenty of rain in the forecast. In any case it is likely that SIXPACK will encounter improved underfoot conditions to what he faced in a couple of starts last month. That, allied to a step-up in trip, promises to suit the Sea The Moon gelding well. His rider, Rory Mulligan, is an apprentice we're likely to get increasingly familiar with as the season progresses, and his 2lb allowance here is a help too. Victorious on the level in his time in England, Milteye (tongue-strap added) should be fit from a hurdling campaign and that gives him an edge on some of these opponents. Duke Of Leggagh and Scott Lang are among the others to consider.

A tongue tie has enabled DUKE OF LEGGAGH to get back on track this season and he can gain a deserved success. Scott Lang returns to the Flat on a good mark so has to be feared, with Sixpack a potential improver upped in trip.

Johnny Murtagh's horses are running well and SIXPACK looks dangerous off his reduced mark. His latest effort can be upgraded.

19:05 Windsor Handicap (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LAWN RANGER shaped as if in need of the outing at Kempton 12 days ago but Michael Attwater's charge, twice a winner over C&D under Robert Havlin last season, could find his sparkle now returned to this venue. Loughville was a narrow victor on soft ground at Bath last month but the form hasn't worked out particularly well, so a 4lb rise might seem harsh on that evidence. However, she remains open to further improvement and should not be underestimated, while Abu Royal is also noted.

DESFONDADO displayed a sharp turn of foot when successful at Lingfield a month ago< and on the back of that career-best effort, he makes plenty of follow-up appeal. Nasim's runner-up effort at Chelmsford was easily his best for his new connections and he lurks on a dangerous mark, with Loughville another in-form rival likely to give it another good shot.

Top of the list is the lightly raced 4yo LOUGHVILLE, who came good with a strong-finishing win at Bath and is open to more progress.

19:10 Killarney Handicap Chase 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Trainer Arthur O'Grady is two-handed here, and he may provide the answer in the form of OUT OF THE PARK. Her point-to-point career wasn't entirely without promise and she now has her initial attempt over racecourse fences. Moderate enough hurdling form allows the selection into this event off a workable mark. An extended two and a half miles around a track like this, ought to be tailor-made for the well-related six-year-old. She's from the family of Vautour, and with first time cheekpieces and Phillip Enright in the plate, a bold showing could be in the offing. Stable companion Presenting Point wouldn't be without hopes at his best either, while course winner General Clermont and Nazine are also worth a second look.

The vote goes to LILIAN BLAND, who probably didn't stay 23f at Clonmel and she was a decisive winner over this trip in a Thurles handicap on her penultimate start. General Clermont may well emerge as the main danger if able to back up his latest effort, while Definiteadare and Listenheretomejack should both be in the shake-up.

A course winner over hurdles, GENERAL CLERMONT is relatively unexposed over fences and ran well in a beginners' race last time

19:20 Wolverhampton Maiden (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Unthinkable posted a much-improved performance when finishing second at Leicester in late April. Further progress cannot be ruled out for George Boughey's filly, but MISS COLLADA's third-placed effort at Newmarket recently rates a touch stronger. The daughter of Mehmas is heading in the right direction and a breakthrough victory could be on the horizon at the third time of asking. Completing the shortlist are Ashen Glow and Subsonictoshannon, who should both have better days ahead.

MISS COLLADA stepped up markedly on her first effort when third at Newmarket 8 days ago, and looks the one to beat. Subsonictoshannon should take a step forward from her debut, while Unthinkable has place claims at least.

Richard Hannon's MISS COLLADA should take some stopping from her low draw after last week's excellent effort at Newmarket.

19:25 Roscommon Maiden 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

No doubt connections would like to get a Flat win into their consistent bumper mare, ROYAL HOLLOW, and she may be equipped to deal with these rivals. As a successful dual purpose operation, the Slattery team will be well aware as to their representative's ability to cope with the drop down in trip. They obviously feel she has sufficient pace for the task at hand, and indeed going through some of her performances from the past, she could excel at the mile and a half. Unassuming under-performed last time. It would be folly to dismiss her now though, with a tongue-strap re-applied. In the Champion Chase-winning colours of Sally Rowley-Williams, Stariam is another to consider.

STARIAM left her debut form well behind when second in a Clonmel maiden in September and open to further improvement, she looks the way to go on return in a maiden lacking depth. Unassuming is similarly lightly raced and may emerge as the chief threat.

A weak maiden. UNASSUMING was an eyecatcher last season and there were excuses for her reappearance effort.

19:40 Windsor Handicap (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

QUIETNESS ran with plenty of credit when coming from well off the pace to finish third over 1m3f at Kempton when last seen and, eased 1lb on her stable debut, she edges preference in what looks a competitive affair. Dovena only found a subsequent winner too good when finishing runner-up in a similar contest at Bath on her final start of last season and, provided she is fully tuned up on her return, she commands respect off a 1lb higher mark. The consistent Free Speech arrives on the back of a creditable second over C&D recently and she completes the shortlist off an unchanged mark.

BUDDING is bred to do be better than a mark of 60 and shaped encouragingly in adverse cirucmstances at Yarmouth on handicap debut. There's more to come from her and she takes preference over the in-form Free Speech and Dovena.

Preference is for dual turf winner DOVENA, who ended last season with a near miss at Bath and that form has worked out well.

19:45 Killarney Conditions Chase 23f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

First and second here last year, Annamix and Nice To Meet are back to renew rivalry, but when it comes to this event J P McManus and Enda Bolger are often the team to row in behind. Former Galway Plate hero EARLY DOORS represents McManus and Bolger now. In the hands of Derek O'Connor, the 11-year-old, that hasn't been too heavily campaigned through his career, would probably appreciate the forecast better ground. Given that he hasn't won anything other than a point-to-point since his big day at Ballybrit in 2020, the weights of this contest are favourable for the Soldier Of Fortune gelding. Gordon Elliott is represented by two of the older brigade in Battleoverdoyen and Hardline. Younger more progressive types like Romeo Magico and Au Fleuron might hold sway when it comes to contending for places in the frame though.

ROMEO MAGICA was impressive at Down Royal before shaping better than the bare result in the Foxhunters' at Aintree last time and he's worth a chance to get back on the up. Annamix and Early Doors look the chief dangers.

Enda Bolger won this in 2021 and 2022 and his runner EARLY DOORS may now cope with last year's winner Annamix who has to give 10lb

19:55 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Trainer Ruth Carr may hold the key with C&D winners JOJO RABBIT and Reigning Profit, and it is the former who is preferred on this occasion. The six-year-old may have disappointed on his most recent outing at Epsom, but he scored on his last two starts over track and trip and the booking of Luke Morris is a positive. Inconsistent but a capable sort on his day, Dark Kestrel is another key player back on the all-weather, along with Catch Cunningham.

A dual winner over C&D this spring, ACES WILD is probably best not judged too harshly on his turf debut run at Bath 2 weeks ago and, with the return to this track/trip both positives, it would come as no surprise to see him bounce back. Catch Cunningham is lurking on a handy mark and needs considering despite a wide draw. The Ruth Carr-trained pair, Reigning Profit and Jojo Rabbit, also need factoring in.

The 5yo ACES WILD had a nice progressive profile on the AW before seemingly failing to act on the soft ground at Bath.

20:15 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

RECON MISSION bounced right back to form when finishing a gallant second over 5f at Leicester last month, just giving best late on, and on forecast faster ground this time, Tony Carroll's charge may take some pegging back off an unchanged mark. Stryder can emerge as the main danger provided he can transfer his recent all-weather form to turf, while Inspired Knowhow's recent third over 6f at Yarmouth can be upgraded, as he was hampered early on, and a bold display here would be no surprise off a 1lb lower mark.

RECON MISSION found only one too good in testing conditions at Leicester 16 days ago and, for all he hasn't won for a while, he's worth a chance to go one better in a race that doesn't look all that strong. Phoenix Star is an obvious danger and Stryder can take a hand if he's fully tuned up.

The vote goes to RECON MISSION, who was runner-up off a much-reduced mark at Leicester and is a big player if he can back that up.

20:20 Killarney NH Flat Race 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Willie Mullins appears to revel in the joy being spread widely when it comes to his ownership base, and he'll likely be keen to have JUMP ALLEN well primed for connections with their business roots in this Munster region. He might want a trip in time looking at his pedigree, but the team at Closutton will be well familiar with his requirements, given that they handled a half-brother to Jump Allen in the past, Arbre De Vie. He triumphed three times for the record-breaking outfit. With a few inexperienced riders in the field, Jodie Townend's presence on the selection is clearly helpful also and he gets the nod to make a winning start from close-up Bellewstown third Florance. For the Punchestown Festival-winning Flood/Benson combination, Torquay Road can show prominently.

JUMP ALLEN is well related and in excellent hands, so he's the obvious choice in a fairly thin bumper. Whatsyourproblem shaped with encouragement in a novice hurdle last time and is worthy of consideration, while Rubies or Gold is another interesting newcomer.

The Mullins runner JUMP ALLEN may be equal to the task first time out. Major Barry and Whatsyourproblem are possible dangers.

20:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A highly encouraging second here on her debut for new connections last month, PLUMETTE showed more than enough pace over further to suggest that she should be suited by the drop in trip on this occasion. A comfortable winner over C&D on his latest start, Little Empire looks to be the chief threat, as well as Fayasel, who ran a creditable race when third over this distance at Chelmsford last month.

LITTLE EMPIRE arrives easily one of the least exposed and was deserving of extra credit when making his second start in handicaps a winning one 16 days ago, overcoming a troubled passage to see off Coconut Bay by 1¼ lengths. He earns the vote to defy a 6 lb higher mark. Plumette and Fayasel are others to consider, with aforementioned Coconut Bay not out of things, either.

Lightly raced Irish raider LITTLE EMPIRE (nap) won with sufficient authority over C&D last time to believe he can defy a 6lb rise.

(2) Specialist View 6/4, Lightly-raced 4-y-o who was well backed and found some progress to get off the mark with plenty to spare in 9-runner handicap at Southwell (1m) 2 weeks ago. Drawn a little wider than ideal here but she could just be worth siding with to follow up from 7 lb higher mark.
Comfortably justified favouritism at Southwell and hard to moan about the 7lb rise.

21:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Now that the penny has dropped for SPECIALIST VIEW after a taking success at Southwell last time out, there should be plenty more to come from the daughter of Expert Eye. Chris Dwyer's charge looks capable of overcoming a 7lb rise for that success and gets the vote ahead of Lingfield runner-up Strategic Fortune, and Billy McGarry, who scored on the same card as the selection last time out. Others to note include Come On John, Van Zant and Weloof.

SPECIALIST VIEW justified good support when opening her account at Southwell 2 weeks ago and she could just be worth siding with to overcome a less-than-ideal draw with the prospect of more to come. Fellow last-time-out winner Billy McGarry and Voltaic are others to consider, with Come On John also making each-way appeal.

The suggestion is COME ON JOHN who has been consistent over further and was successful the last time he ran at about a mile.
