5Blaike Mc DougallBen, Will & Jd HayesImpressed last start when 1.3L behind War Drama at Sale. Knockout chance.

CATALINA BLACK CAT (2) Back from a let up. Was ordinary when 9th last start at Pakenham but goes down in grade. Nadia Daniels takes a large claim and carrying less weight this time. Expect to go close. DERELICT (11) Looked good when 3rd last time at Ballarat. Tracking very well this campaign. Has the early speed to burn across from the wide draw. Has to be strongly considered. WHERE'S POPPY (4) Didn't threaten when 7th last time at Ballarat. Can show a better performance this time and competing in a lower grade. Should muster plenty of early toe. Winnable race. BOURBON ROAD (1) Good run when finishing 2nd beaten by 1 1/4L last run at Sale and challenged by weaker competitors. Interesting to see the winkers go off for the first time. Worth strong consideration
