13:40 Beverley Handicap (Class 6) 8f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A low draw combined with first-time cheekpieces could be a winning combination for TEES GEORGE in his bid to gain compensation for a handful of recent near misses. A close second on his only previous run at this course, the selection has scope to progress over this trip and another bold showing is expected, with Hollie Doyle an eye-catching jockey booking. Regency Boy tries a mile for the first time and can figure prominently if the drop in trip doesn't catch him out. Starshot and Clotherholme complete the shortlist.

STARSHOT hasn't been with his current yard long, was a shade better than the result last time and is now on a career-low mark, so he seemingly has plenty in his favour as long as stall 14 isn't an issue. Tees George and Have You A Minute are in-form rivals and need considering.

The presence of Hollie Doyle aboard a reasonably consistent TEES GEORGE is enough to sway the vote towards this 4yo.

14:30 Yarmouth Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having been beaten just a nose over 6f at Newbury last time, this looks a good opportunity for HOLD A DREAM to get off the mark at the third time of asking. Clive Cox's runner has finished second on each of her two outings so far and this daughter of Bated Breath should be a tough nut to crack. Cressida Wildes was second over 6f at Chester latest and is worthy of consideration, while Dash Of Azure can build on her debut effort.

HOLD A DREAM has found one too good on each of her two runs but she's likely to take another step forward here and, as such, is marginally preferred to Cressida Wildes, who has the best form to date. Maissara is another one to consider following a pleasing start behind the selection at Newbury.

This can go to HOLD A DREAM who lost out only narrowly at Newbury to one who has Group-race aspirations and she can go one better.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ULTRASOUL wasn't short of supporters when competing in a stronger contest than this at York last time and, dropped in class, he should be difficult to beat. Roger Varian's charge caught the eye when second over 6f at this venue on his racecourse debut and, with more improvement likely, he makes plenty of appeal. Newcomer Althaneyah is also one to note, with this test likely to suit the Lope De Vega colt, while fellow newcomer Balticum completes the shortlist.

NIGHTWALKER showed ability amidst clear signs of inexperience when third behind one who has been placed in group company on his debut at Leicester 38 days ago and, given he's entitled to have derived plenty from that, he could be the answer. Ultrasoul rates the chief threat with a repeat of the form he showed when second on debut over 6f here. Balticum and Althaneyah are a pair of newcomers to note.

The selection is ULTRASOUL on the strength of his debut effort, but the imposing Nightwalker is seriously respected.

15:35 Tramore Handicap Chase 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

JACK HOLIDAY might prove difficult to peg back if getting his own way out in front. Successful when making all on his second start for David Christie at Wexford early last month, he since finished fourth in a stronger contest at Killarney. Already a three-time winner at Tramore, Mater Matuta is sure to prove popular with punters. A versatile performer, she still looks nicely treated off a mark of 104 and it'll be disappointing if she's not involved towards the business end. Just Jacob galloped his rivals into the ground when making all here last month. Since third at Ballinrobe on Friday, it'll come as no surprise if he manages to take this. Disappointing since her win here in June, handicap debutant Purse Price warrants respect with Jack Kennedy aboard, while recent Downpatrick victor Ricky Langford is another leading hope.

MATER MATUTA reverts to chasing on a handy-looking mark so is fancied to bag a third success this season at the chief expense of C&D scorer Just Jacob who comes here on the up. In-form duo Jack Holiday and Ricky Langford can have a say too in this open handicap chase.

Both MATER MATUTA and Jack Holiday go particularly well at this track but preference is form the first-named, in cracking form.

15:55 Sandown Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

WINDCRACK returned to the turf with a convincing C&D triumph last month and the unexposed daughter of Cracksman is fancied to go in again, despite a 5lb rise. First-time cheekpieces could elicit some improvement from Own Accord, who finished a creditable second at Hamilton on her latest start. She looks the main threat, while others to note include Dreamrocker and Crystal Casque.

Having shown fairly useful form at 3 yrs, FLEURIR left her first start of the current campaign behind when runner-up at Ffos Las 19 days ago and she can build on that effort to resume winning ways. Roger Varian's filly is preferred to Own Accord, who returned to form when second at Hamilton last month, with Windcrack also considered.

The return to 1m suited WINDCRACK when she found plenty over C&D last time and she should still have some potential at the trip.

16:18 Beverley Handicap (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having been beaten just a half-length over C&D last time, GLORY HYDE appears likely to offer another bold bid. The three-year-old has been raised just 1lb for that narrow miss, which could prove lenient. Last-time-out winner Zarzyni is likely to pose the most significant questions to the selection, carrying a 4lb penalty for his head success over 5f at Musselburgh, while Alligator Alley is also likely to feature.

Typically competitive fare but MATTICE lines up 1 lb below the mark he was successful from in this race 12 months ago and could be worth chancing from a handy draw, with his latest run here easily overlooked. Alligator Alley is another to consider along with Glory Hyde. Zarzyni, who was a cosy winner at Musselburgh 3 days ago, is another in the mix for all his draw may make things tricky.

Competitive fare but Mattice and GOOD POINT (nap) can have their recent runs upgraded and they can fight this out.

16:30 Kelso Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having opened his account over hurdles in emphatic fashion at Downpatrick last month, INTENSE APPROACH looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to follow up. The five-year-old is rated 13lb higher than chief rival Kandor, who is heading in the right direction after his first career victory at Perth in July. Lucinda Russell's gelding is feared most, although it will be interesting to see how stable debutant Top Man Tom fares in the betting.

INTENSE APPROACH easily landed the odds at Downpatrick last month and this looks a good opportunity for him to follow up under a penalty. Kandor scored quite decisively in the end at Perth in July and appeals as the type to improve further, while Go Go Chicago could leave the bare form of his Stratford hurdling debut win well behind now stepping up in trip.

Although Kandor has the edge on one line of form, Irish raider INTENSE APPROACH is improving all the time and is just preferred.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

In a wide-open event marginal preference is for ORCHARD KEEPER, who chased home a subsequent winner when second at Newmarket last time and a 2lb rise for that effort may underestimate her. Overture has to be of interest given her profile but she is 11lb higher than when successful at Southwell on her most recent outing. Carpathian edges out Perrine and Lincoln Rockstar to be best of the rest.

This could go the way of OVERTURE, who brought up the hat-trick in comfortable fashion at Southwell 19 days ago and can continue her progress to overcome the step up in class. Heading the list of dangers is Lincoln Rockstar, who is respected as she drops back down in grade, with She's A Novelty also in the mix.

With a latest start that's easily forgiven, and five wins earlier in the season, LINCOLN ROCKSTAR should be of major interest.

17:28 Beverley Handicap (Class 5) 10f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Twin Earth has few miles on the clock and may benefit from the addition of first-time cheekpieces, while the less-exposed Skinny Malinka has shown promise in novice/maiden events and, now pitched into handicaps, he could go well. However, a chance is taken on last year's winner DANDY'S ANGEL. There have been signs of a revival from John Wainwright's mare recently and given that she is now 8lb below that winning mark, the daughter of Dandy Man might provide some value.

Last year's victor DANDY'S ANGEL wasn't seen to maximum effect when third at Hamilton last time so this course specialist gets the nod off a 1 lb lower mark in a very open handicap. The reliable Inappropriate is weighted to go close and next on the list ahead of handicap debutant Skinny Malinka. Bearwith completes the shortlist.

The five-time course winner DANDY'S ANGEL has been in good form elsewhere on her last three starts and gets the nod.

17:50 Tramore Handicap Hurdle 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

BRIDESWELL LAD may be worth siding with here on his return to action off an attractive hurdles mark. The Shirocco gelding is a better horse over fences but has to be of interest reverting to the smaller obstacles off a 35lb lower rating. This trip is probably a bit short but the 144-rated chaser has a touch of class against these rivals. Mountain Port sprang a shock in a maiden hurdle here last month. He has to be respected but a mark of 116 looks tough enough. There are a few other previous course and distance winners in the field and Inchiquin Star could be place material.

FIRST DARE never figured making her debut on the Flat back in June but she'd previously been holding her form well in this sphere and shades the vote to get back on track. Wajaaha, Brideswell Lad and Mountain Port are others to consider in a wide-open affair.

Smart handicap chaser Brideswell Lad may find the trip inadequate. WAJAAHA gets the vote on the strength of a fine Galway run

18:20 Tramore Maiden Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

HE'S ULTIMATE ran in some very strong maiden hurdles last winter and takes a significant drop in class on his return to action. The Champs Elysees gelding's best run was probably his worst placing, when sixth at Down Royal on St Stephen's Day. He has shown enough to win a race of this standard. There are a couple in here with marks of 99. Truckers Cruising ran well for a long way here last month and could play a big role. Michal's best run came when fourth here on his penultimate outing and he's another for the shortlist.

HE'S ULTIMATE hasn't been shaping as though in need of this slight step up in trip but it's not a strong maiden by any means so he may get away with it on his return. Whitewinewednesday and Michal are a couple of potential threats.

Gordon Elliott should have a clear idea of what is required to win a race of this standard and HE'S ULTIMATE may be too good for these

18:50 Tramore Handicap Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MAX TIME landed a gamble in Galway nine days ago in fine style and he may be able to follow up. The Policy Maker gelding pulled away on the run-in then to score by five-and-a-half lengths and a 7lb rise for that performance doesn't look harsh at all. Beechroad Winnie has been knocking on the door and was second on her last visit here. She had Scottish Dancer back in third when chasing home Cruisin Susan here last month and both those horses have to be contenders again. The pair have both finished second since, Scottish Dancer actually turned out again the next day at this venue.

Plenty with chances but SCOTTISH DANCER rates the pick of the weights on the back of his good recent second here so edges the vote. In-form maiden Beechroad Winnie heads the list of dangers, although the likes of Corkbeg, Mabel In May and Ben Vrackie all command plenty of respect.

Considering the emphatic manner in which Iggy Madden's MAX TIME landed a gamble at Galway last week, a 7lb rise appeals as lenient

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
