Lunigiana sets the standard on form but it isn't a notably high one and a chance is taken SHOWSPINNER, who was runner-up in a Leopardstown barrier trial last month. Very tricky. Tilly's Company and Tommy McJohn are closely matched on their Cork maiden clash but both have to bounce back from lesser efforts. WEEGEEBEAR could be the answer dropping in trip after showing speed in two nurseries over further. It might be worth taking a chance on SHOCKER who has a bit of a hit and miss profile but a couple of his runs in maidens have been promising and he gets weight from his main rivals. An opening mark of 66 looks workable for the well bred NOW. She's shown promise in her three runs so far and given that she's closely related to Rip Van Winkle, she should relish this step back up in trip. There are some nice prospects in here including Rowdy Yeats who chased home Arizona Blaze on debut but the subsequent absence is a slight concern and it may be worth siding with CERCENE. (3) Galveston	2	Ryan Moore	A P O'Brien	Frankel colt; cost 2m Gns as a yearling; half-brother to 1m AW 2yo/1m4f turf winner Bizarre Law (RPR 91); dam 1m AW 2yo winner (72), sister to winners Cannock Chase (Canadian 1m4f Grade 1) and Pisco Sour (1m2f Group 2), half-sister to 1m4f Group 1 winner; this looks a suitable starting point and high on the shortlist given his pedigree/sale price; yard's first-string.

There are plenty of nice prospects in here including Edge Of Seventeen who is a half-sister to Albigna and was first home in a barrier trial last month. However, a chance is taken on Ballydoyle's first-string GALVESTON. This Frankel colt cost 2m Guineas at the sales last year and this well bred colt may be up to defying inexperience.
