13:20 Fontwell Novices Hurdle (Class 4) 22f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

PRINCE IMPERIAL and Huelgoat both come into this contest off the back of impressive victories, but slight preference is for the former after his 23-length success over 2m3f here. The son of Frankel is a classy performer, currently rated 87 on the Flat, and he looks well placed to follow up. As for the latter, he has to be considered after justifying favouritism at Stratford last month and is the obvious threat. Hauraki Gulf looks best of the rest.

PRINCE IMPERIAL stepped up appreciably on his previous form in this sphere starting out for a new trainer when running out an easy winner here 16 days ago and is fancied to defy a penalty. Hauraki Gulf returns to hurdling for the first time in a while but has the form to play a big part, with old rivals Huelgoat and Yellow Car warranting respect, also.

It will be difficult for any of these to keep tabs on HUELGOAT who will try and make all. Prince Imperial can follow him home.

13:40 Beverley Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Jez Bomb accounted for his nearest rival by half a length in this grade at Wolverhampton last time and he should mount a bold bid to complete the double. However, the vote goes to DR RIO, who took the silver medal home over track and trip last month and he is only 2lb higher for that neck defeat. Declan Carroll's eight-year-old might only need to reproduce that level of form in order to go one better. Etretat is another to note.

Raised just 1 lb for his recent success on the all-weather, JEZ BOMB looks the way to go. He is equally effective on turf, performing with credit on both previous visits here, and his credentials are rock-solid. An on-song Just Hiss would have a real chance off this mark, while the in-form Dr Rio is also likely to be in the thick of things.

The 4yo maiden REGENCY BOY has encouraging form this term and is taken to get off the mark. Dandy's Angel is second choice.

13:47 Warwick Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GET WITH IT beat Pawpaw (third) when occupying the runner-up berth over 2m7f at Worcester on his latest outing and the handicapper may have been kind to only put him up 1lb for that effort. Dan Skelton's charge takes a drop in trip and has cheekpieces applied for the first time, which could bring out the improvement required to go one better. Smurfette produced a better effort to finish second in this grade at Fontwell last time and could have a say off the same mark, while Lonimoss Bareliere completes the shortlist.

This drop in trip isn't certain to suit GET WITH IT but it surely won't be long before he opens his account for Dan Skelton and he's still comfortably the most persuasive option. Smurfette isn't fully exposed so she needs considering, along with Lonimoss Bareliere.

A strong-finishing second at Worcester this month, GET WITH IT can go one better here. Smurfette is second choice.

13:55 Fontwell Handicap Chase (Class 5) 26f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

INSTANT GAMBLER was a shock winner, judged on his odds, in this grade over C&D earlier in the month, but there didn't seem to be any fluke about the manner of that victory. Alexandra Dunn's eight-year-old was returning from a long absence on that occasion so he might take a step forward to defy his 7lb rise. Coconut Twist has made the frame at this level on each of his last two starts and should go well again, while Getupearly can fight it out for the minor honours.

INSTANT GAMBLER proved a totally different proposition upped markedly in trip for his chase debut here a fortnight ago, scoring a shade cosily, and can follow up if in the same sort of form. Getupearly is a big player, while Radharc Na Slaine is interesting with Sean Bowen up.

Radharc Na Slaine needs considering with Sean Bowen booked but preference is for GETUPEARLY who remains with potential over fences.

14:00 Listowel Maiden 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

It isn't difficult to envisage THRICE going forward from his near rail-side draw in stall two, in a bid to put the benefit of his experience to good use. All eyes will be on the Wootton Bassett colt, as his rider Ryan Moore debuts at Listowel. Moore triumphed on the selection's stable companion, Officer, when Thrice finished third on his first start at the Curragh last month. There was undoubted merit in the Ballydoyle juvenile's finishing spurt on that occasion, and the blinkers deployed then are unsurprisingly retained now. Aidan O'Brien has care of Thrice, and there is strong O'Brien family representation all told, with Joseph and Donnacha also fielding runners. The former's Hostility looks well-placed to at least contend for a place in the frame.

THRICE made a bright start to his career when a close third to stablemate Officer, who was the mount of Ryan Moore, on debut at the Curragh last month. Moore is aboard the son of Wootton Bassett this time (ahead of Ballydoyle newcomer Full Power) and he should prove hard to beat. Hostility shaped well on his introduction at the same course and is feared most ahead of Full Power.

Considering he got no cover it was highly encouraging that THRICE was still strong through the line when third at the Curragh.

14:10 Beverley Stakes (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Springbok is more experienced than his rivals in this contest and sets a fair standard with a rating of 76 after his third at York last time. He holds an obvious chance, but it may pay to side with MISTY MEMORIES, who showed plenty of ability to make the frame on his debut over an extended 7f at Ffos Las. The son of Kodiac shaped as though this step up in trip would suit and, with normal improvement, he looks the one to beat. The Trickster would be of interest on debut if the market speaks in his favour.

Though CASPI STAR failed to land a blow on her introduction in a Goodwood novice, the fact that she was well-backed ahead of that Class 2 event suggests that she has been showing the right signs at home. The Camelot filly is likely to prove a different proposition with that run under her belt. Misty Memories made an encouraging start to his career at Ffos Las and is second choice ahead of Springbok and newcomer The Trickster.

Provided his Ffos Las promise is confirmed, MISTY MEMORIES holds a leading chance. Springbok and The Trickster are respected.

14:20 Warwick Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Harry Skelton is an interesting jockey booking aboard Latenightrumble, who makes his first start over hurdles after finishing second in a hunters' chase at Cheltenham in May. He is one to watch in the market, but the more solid option appears to be YOKKELL, who bolted up on her first start over hurdles at Down Royal last month. If John McConnell's mare can reproduce anything like that display, she could prove very difficult to beat. Dodger Long is another to keep an eye on.

This looks a very good chance for wide-margin Down Royal scorer YOKKEL to make it 2-2 over hurdles. Dodger Long can follow John McConnell's Irish raider home.

Useful Flat racer YOKKELL made a pleasing start to her hurdling career last month and looks the one to beat.

14:30 Fontwell Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Honneur D'Ajonc finished a disappointing sixth when sent off favourite at Perth last time but if he can run to the level of his second at Stratford prior to that then he could get into contention. However, a chance is taken on STANLEY PINCOMBE, who could only manage fourth over 2m3f at Taunton in April but this drop in trip might prove to be a good move. With that in mind, he gets the nod to notch his fourth career victory. Drop Flight needs to be monitored in the betting market on his first start for the Dan Skelton yard.

NORLEY lost his way last season but has dropped in the weights and could be worth chancing having rejoined his former trainer. Drop Flight is another who has made an interesting stable switch and needs monitoring closely in the betting, while Cloud Dancer also returns on a tempting mark.

This looks very open. STANLEY PINCOMBE might be the answer despite his tough mark.

14:35 Listowel Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

It's not often that connections of SIMPLE ENDEAVOUR find themselves competing down at this level. Nonetheless it'll be viewed as an important project, to secure a winning bracket with a well-bred filly such as this, after her purchase for a huge sum as a yearling in 2022. The daughter of Dubawi has had to miss out on a couple of intended assignments in recent times but patience could be rewarded now. She's joined here by stable companion and top-weight Dark Viper, and he's undoubtedly a player too. Back-in-trip Simple Endeavour can turn silver to gold though, after going close the last twice, from the plum draw in stall one. Sneddy Eddie has the form to make a telling impression. The presence of Colin Keane on his back will only go to heighten the confidence of his backers.

Lots with chances but SKONTONOVSKI signalled he is ready to go in again when an encouraging third at Punchestown so edges the vote. Akeela heads the list of dangers on the back of her good Cork second, although Golden Days, Dark Viper and Nika Pika all need factoring in too.

Wide open. SIMPLE ENDEAVOUR has to be ridden positively over this shorter trip and she's dropped lucky with the draw in that respect.

14:45 Beverley Stakes (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MADDELINA caught the eye when finishing third on her debut at Carlisle earlier in the month and she should have learned a great deal from that experience. John and Sean Quinn's filly has plenty of scope for improvement and it would be no surprise to see her go in at the second time of asking. Nala Star filled the runner-up spot in a handicap at Bath last time and she has to be respected back in novice company. Of the remainder, Monetize makes the most appeal.

The vote goes to NALA STAR, who followed her Catterick maiden success with a near-miss in a Bath nursery 10 days ago. She looks rock-solid in the context of this race and is taken to see off Maddelina and Pearly Squirrel, both of whom are open to improvement. Monetize also has each-way claims.

Having been a promising third on her recent debut at Carlisle, MADDELINA earns the vote ahead of previous winner Nala Star.

14:55 Warwick Handicap Chase (Class 4) 24f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ROLL WITH IT picked his way through the field to bolt up by 10 lengths in this grade at Worcester on his most recent outing and a 10lb rise might not be enough to halt him. The eight-year-old has lots in his favour and he looks the one to be on. G A Henty wasn't disgraced when third on his chase debut Market Rasen last time and he would be dangerous to dismiss off an unchanged mark, while Galloping Pride is another to watch out for.

The vote in a tight-looking handicap goes to Dan Skelton's G A HENTY. Roll With It and Emma Lavelle pair Crypto Currency and Galloping Pride may give him most to do.

This is competitive but CRYPTO CURRENCY appears to be crying out for this step up to 3m. G A Henty heads the dangers.

15:05 Fontwell Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LUCKY ROSE looked in need of further when staying on for a distant second over the extended 2m5f here on her handicap debut and should relish the extra yardage on offer today. She gets the nod ahead of Propelled, who filled the runner-up berth off this mark in a similar event at Stratford when last seen in July. Redbridge Rosie merits consideration following a 2lb drop in the ratings since her latest start.

BAHTIYAR ran well stepped up to 2¾m at Stratford recently and could prove to be the answer to the first division of this staying handicap if his stamina holds now going up even further in trip. Lucky Rose and Nicky Henderson's Propelled are obvious threats after creditable runner-up efforts last timer, while Neil Mulholland handicap newcomer Hurley Girly is one to monitor in the betting.

Nicky Henderson's PROPELLED can land his first win over hurdles. Lucky Rose is next best.

15:10 Listowel Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

LOUIESCALL returns to Listowel, after a third placed run here in June. Connections kept the Soldier's Call gelding busy at the Galway festival, and though his second effort didn't match the first in a couple of outings at Ballybrit, there are still grounds for optimism. Granted, Louiescall is the only maiden in this line-up, but as the least experienced he is likely one of those with the most scope for progression. Trainer Harry Kelly is presumably still learning with the youngster. The cheekpieces he had on last time are dispensed with for this assignment, where his prominent racing style can put him right in the firing line come the business end. Others may prefer the tried and tested. To that end previous Listowel winners Ramiro, Dragon Of Malta and Racing Royalty will appeal.

PERFECT JUDGEMENT got on top close home at Leopardstown and he is taken to follow up off this 5 lb higher mark here. Next on the list is Summer Snow, who is much better than she was able to show at the Curragh last time. Eddie G, Ferrybank and Racing Royalty all make each-way appeal.

MOUNT RUAPEHU shaped well over 6.5f here in June, he's 3lb lower now and he can be forgiven his last run on account of soft ground.

15:20 Beverley Stakes (Class 2) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

EMARAATY ANA arrives on the back of a fine third in the Listed Beverley Bullet and a repeat effort would make Jamie Osborne's sprinter difficult to beat. Clarendon House blew the start once again when finishing last of seven behind the selection, but a visor is applied today and he has every chance on these terms if the headgear has the desired effect. Tees Spirit is a useful handicapper on his day and is preferred to King Of Stars, who returns from a prolonged absence.

EMARAATY ANA went close in the Beverley Bullet over C&D 3 weeks ago and could be hard to beat if replicating that effort on these terms down in class. Clarendon House is the class rival but has been having real trouble at the start this season.

King Of Stars is interesting on his return but preference is for EMARAATY ANA, who was a close Listed third here last time.

15:30 Warwick Handicap Chase (Class 3) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

PULL AGAIN GREEN appreciated last month's return to the larger obstacles when finishing a decent third at Worcester. He has his favoured ground once again and Fergal O'Brien's charge can resume winning ways in this lower grade. Get Up Mush has won two of his four starts over fences so far and looks worth a try over this extra distance. Harry Skelton's presence on the latter suggests he's preferred to stablemate Sacre Coeur, while Planned Paradise is another upped in trip with a shout.

GET UP MUSH can resume his progress and is fancied to resume winning ways at the chief expense of Pull Again Green, who got back to form when third at Worcester. Sacre Coeur, a stablemate of the selection, is another worthy of respect in an open handicap chase.

Low-mileage 6yo GET UP MUSH (nap) has made a bright start to his chasing career this season and may improve again over this new trip.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

This is a tricky puzzle for punters to solve but there is plenty to like about the chances of GONE IN SIXTY, who was doing his best work at the finish when runner-up the last twice and should appreciate this longer trip. Lady Harriett has strong claims on her neck second over an extended 3m1f at Cartmel last month but she is 4lb higher now, while Danzini is respected on her C&D victory off 4lb lower in May. Fellow track-and-trip scorer Rubys Reward and Luna Run are others to consider.

LADY HARRIETT hasn't looked back since sent over staying trips and is weighted to gain a maiden victory here on the back of her excellent Cartmel second. Hugueneau could emerge as the main danger now his stamina is drawn out more with Gone In Sixty and Danzini also in the mix.

This may be the day that GONE IN SIXTY's consistency is rewarded. Hugueneau is next best.

15:45 Listowel Listed 9f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Third in this event last year behind her stable companion, the hugely surprising 80/1 victor, Maud Gonne Spirit, perhaps it'll be a slightly better outcome for CURVATURE this time around. Jessica Harrington's stable jockey Shane Foley is on Fleur De Chine, and that's hardly surprising given that she gave her rider a big pay-day at Gowran back in high summer. It shouldn't neccessarily detract from the confidence of those rowing in with Curvature though, given that Colin Keane takes the reins for the first time. The addition of cheekpieces may help to eke out that bit more from the marginal first choice. She only yielded close home in a similar heat at Killarney a month ago. Curvature, Princess Child and Mexicali Rose are closely matched on evidence from then.

It might be worth chancing MUNDI back from a break with Ryan Moore over for the ride. Mexicali Rose, Princess Child and Curvature are closely matched on last month's Killarney form and should be in the mix again, while the selection's stablemate Bomberg has the potential for plenty of improvement after his debut success.

Opportunity knocks in not the strongest of Listed races. PRINCESS CHILD (nap) has been running well and this longer trip should help.

15:55 Beverley Handicap (Class 6) 5f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The penny seems to have dropped with the unexposed BLUE FORCE and he opened his account over the minimum trip at Newcastle earlier in the month. The son of Blue Point can effectively race off a 2lb lower mark today with his apprentice's allowance taken into account and another bold bid looks on the cards. Northern Prince is fitted with eye-shields after placing at Redcar and rates a threat, while Musical Diva will likely be thereabouts at the finish once again.

MACARONE has slipped in the weights and could be set to resume winning ways having scored in a nursery here last year. Marching Mac (declared to run at Wolverhampton on Monday), Musical Diva and Blue Force are other likely contenders.

The filly STONEACRE GIRL kept on for second at Musselburgh last time and can get off the mark with this stiffer track set to suit.

16:05 Warwick Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

It could pay to stick with last week's Worcester winner FASHIONELLE in this. The unexposed five-year-old forged clear of her rivals in the closing stages and can defy a 7lb penalty with more to come from her. Leave Her To Me makes her handicap debut having won a maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter in July and she also has scope for further progress, while I Am Gonna Be is a likely improver on her second start after a wind operation.

FASHIONELLE did the job readily under a more positive ride at Worcester last week and can follow up under a penalty. Leave Her To Me and Duchamps Art are a couple of the potential dangers.

Fashionelle is respected under her penalty but preference is for class-dropper I AM GONNA BE, who ran quite well last month.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SYCAMORE GAP was closing all the way to the line when just held by a neck over C&D last week and his rating remains unchanged. With Kaiya Fraser claiming a valuable 5lb this time around, he could prove very hard to beat. Albert Lasker finished a fair fourth in this grade at Catterick on his latest outing and might get involved off a 1lb lower mark, while Strike Rate can pick up any pieces.

SYCAMORE GAP has been knocking firmly on the door of late and this could well be his day. Albert Lasker isn't straightforward but confirmed his return to form at Catterick a fortnight ago and can give the selection most to think about.

This can go to SYCAMORE GAP who has plenty to recommend him on his recent close second off the same mark over C&D.

16:15 Fontwell Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Following a C&D success, CALL OFF THE DOGS only found a subsequent winner too good when bidding for a hat-trick here in June and this looks a good opportunity for him to make a winning return from a break. Supposedtobe is dropped 3lb on the back of a couple of placed efforts and he looks the biggest threat to the selection, ahead of course winner Pure Theatre.

It remains to be seen if ROYAL JUNIPER is able to back up his latest effort when following home Call Off The Dogs over this C&D at the end of May. That said, if he is able to do so he will have a real chance of reversing the placings with that rival on these revised terms. Flamelco's jumping has been an issue but the ability is there if he puts in a clean round, while chase debutante Pure Theatre and Supposedtobe both need a second look, too.

Call Off The Dogs was in good form here in the spring but his former stablemate FLAMELCO is on a good mark and worth chancing.

16:20 Listowel Stakes 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Conditions are unlikely to suit dual winner Lady O, with the Australia filly taken out of a Group 3 at the Curragh last month due to quick ground. Off the same mark of 87, MEDICI VENUS is the selection. Badly hampered when still in with every chance on her penultimate start at Naas, she went down narrowly when last seen at Galway. Clearly progressive, it'll be disappointing if she's not involved towards the business end. The Joseph O'Brien-trained Drivers Seat has two solid efforts to his name and looks a winner in waiting. Third at Leopardstown on his latest start, he was a place ahead of subsequent impressive Galway victor Trinity College. O'Brien also saddles The Marty Party who has plenty to find on ratings, while Shiota and the Adrian McGuinness pair of Sir Jeremy and No Return (first time hood) complete the line-up.

SIR JEREMY took a big step forward when running out a wide-margin winner of a Down Royal nursery 18 days ago and looks capable of following up with further progress on the cards. Drivers Seat is another progressing nicely, with Lady O and Medici Venus others warranting plenty of respect.

Perhaps MEDICI VENUS can get her head in front. She was narrowly denied at Galway and her pedigree suggests this trip is worth a go.

16:30 Beverley Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The betting suggested CAPITAL GUARANTEE would bounce back to form at Thirsk and he duly finished a creditable second. David O'Meara's inmate looks primed to score off his current mark and is just preferred to Captain Corelli. The latter is upped in class bidding for a four-timer and escapes a penalty after winning an apprentices' race at Redcar last week, while Finbar's Lad merits a second glance on his third at York in July.

CAPITAL GUARANTEE strikes as a really well handicapped sort following last week's second at Thirsk when doing too much too soon having been well backed. He looks set for another big run off the same mark. Captain Corelli bids for a 4-timer and is unpenalised for his Redcar victory so has to be feared despite the rise in class, while Legend of Leros has dropped to a very tempting mark and would be interesting if the ground softens.

It is hard to look beyond CAPTAIN CORELLI (nap), who is on a four-timer and escapes a penalty for last Tuesday's win at Redcar.

16:40 Warwick Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 26f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Chatty Chich has struck in two of her last three starts and even a repeat of her most recent third at Worcester might put her into contention. However, DYNAMITE KENTUCKY looks the way to go. The nine-year-old may have been worth more than the winning margin suggests over 2m7f at Worcester last month and he should have no issues with this extra distance to defy his 5lb rise. Fine By Me is the pick of the remainder.

Low-mileage 8-y-o CRAVEN BAY shaped as though this stamina test would be right up his street when third over 23f at Worcester last time and he could be the answer. Dynamite Kentucky is feared most on the back of his success at the aforementioned course, while Chatty Chich has to enter calculations and both Fine By Me and Time To Tinker merit respect, too.

The 9yo DYNAMITE KENTUCKY is on a tough mark but has plenty going for him otherwise and he's preferred over Ballyvaughan Bay.

16:45 Newcastle Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

FIFTYSHADESARESDEV had Vintage Love (fourth) behind when sporting a first-time tongue-tie and hitting the crossbar over track and trip last week, which was a much improved display. Micky Hammond's five-year-old goes off the same mark and provided he can back that performance up, he could be the one to beat. Masque Of Anarchy is a dual C&D winner to take seriously, as he lurks on an appealing mark after his fifth at Pontefract last time. Bellslea sports first-time cheekpieces and he can fight it out for a place.

C&D winner MASQUE OF ANARCHY didn't enjoy the rub of the green when fifth at Pontefract last time so is taken to capitalise on a lenient mark at the chief expense of in-form maiden Vintage Love. Fiftyshadesaresdev also needs considering in this open handicap.

Masque Of Anarchy is respected but VINTAGE LOVE can reverse last week's C&D placings with Fiftyshadesaresdev.

16:50 Fontwell Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CALSHOT SPIT is fancied to give weight and a beating to these rivals. Sheena West's gelding only found subsequent winner Got Grey too good on his handicap debut at Stratford last month and that solid display is wedged between two decisive victories on the Flat. Open to greater improvement, he is expected to have too much for the likes of Martin Spirit, who has also been in fine form on the level, and Atreides.

Having found only a well-backed stable switcher too good at Stratford, CALSHOP SPIT comfirmed he's in excellent order when an easy winner on the Flat at Bath 10 days ago. He's fancied to continue the good work, possibly at the chief expense of Go On Ya Goodthing (returned to timber) and Atreides.

Atrreides should be all the sharper for last month's return but that might not be enough to trouble the in-form CALSHOT SPIT (nap).

16:55 Listowel Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Despite the fact his winning streak came to an end at Galway, MONASTERBOICE looks difficult to oppose. Reeled in close home at Ballybrit, the likeable three-time winner lost little in defeat. While the only three-year-old in the line-up here, he is the highest rated on a mark of 93. No More Porter should appreciate this drop in class and is given second preference after finishing a fine sixth of 24 in the Cambridgeshire on his penultimate start. His stable companion Exquisite Acclaim won when last seen at Gowran and is sure to have plenty of supporters in his bid to follow-up. Course winners Facethepuckout, Simply Sideways and Narmar all warrant respect, with the latter, who is fitted with a tongue strap for the first time, of definite interest after finishing a never nearer eighth when last seen in the Cambridgeshire.

NARMAR caught the eye in the Irish Cambridgeshire, sure to have finished closer granted a clear run, and he could be the way to go back at the scene of his sole success. Orandi and Monasterboice are a couple of the other likely players.

It might be worth chancing C&D maiden winner NARMAR who has been unlucky in two of his last three starts in premier handicaps.

17:02 Beverley Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MAGICAL MERLIN certainly wasn't disgraced in a class 2 handicap over 1m at Chepstow last time and he looks to have a great chance now dropped in both class and trip. It Just Takes Time has been running well over 6f and the C&D scorer must enter calculations, while Princess Alex is no forlorn hope off just 2lb higher than when winning here in May.

IT JUST TAKES TIME won on his last run over C&D and arrives in good form having his first go over 7f for a while. He just gets the vote over Magical Merlin and Princess Alex in a competitive contest.

This can go to IT JUST TAKES TIME, who has run really well in defeat over 6f the last twice and won over C&D in 2022.

17:10 Warwick Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CLARAROSE has made the frame in deeper contests than this the last twice, including when finishing third off this mark at Bangor last time. Dan Skelton's six-year-old can capitalise on the drop in grade, with her main danger possibly being Champetre, who arrives on the back of a career-best effort at Worcester last month. Keep an eye on Stans The Man too.

There could be better to come from SHIBUYA SONG now that she's faced with a stiffer test and a 7 lb rise for her Worcester success looks manageable. The consistent Clararose is next on the list but only just, as Faded Fantasy also makes some appeal having shaped as though stepping up to this trip would be in his favour last time. Champetre is another to consider.

Clararose has remained in good form since her course win in May but TZARMIX may cope better if the forecast rain arrives.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MR FANTASTIC has arguably improved with each of his three runs, with his best performance coming when filling the runner-up spot at Ascot earlier in the month. The son of Showcasing sets a lofty standard with a rating of 82 and he looks tough to oppose. The main threat might be Boston Run, who finished a close-up fourth at Haydock on his most recent start and should give a good account under Tom Marquand. My Mate Beattie can pick up any pieces.

MR FANTASTIC possesses much the best form on offer so gets a confident vote to go one better than his recent Ascot second. Boston Run appeals as the one to chase home Karl Burke's progressive colt ahead of My Mate Beattie.

Boston Run and MR FANTASTIC are the standouts on form and the selection could progress again now switched to AW.

SELECTIVELISTENING is slowly but steadily getting the hang of things and posted a solid runner-up effort on just his second handicap start over an extended 2m5f here latest, when he led at the last before being headed on the run-in. Cutting back in distance today, he makes slightly more appeal than Sanitiser, who arrives fit from the Flat, and the returning Highway One O Five.

Not as competitive as the numbers suggest and SANITISER, who arrives fit from the Flat and on a handy-looking mark, is taken to gain a maiden success in this sphere. Selectivelistening is feared most on the back of his good recent second here, with Highway One O Five also worthy of respect.

Selectivelistening needs respecting but SANITISER has shown more than enough to suggest he can win a race of this nature.

17:30 Listowel Handicap 14f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The progressive ROSSO might be able to take this on his first try in handicap company. A real stayer, the Camelot bay will appreciate this step up in trip and is versatile regards ground. Beaten by a neck on recent starts at Galway and Gowran respectively, Highland Bling certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn. The highest rated runner in the line-up, he too is upped in trip and will be ridden by Keithen Kennedy who claims a valuable 7lb. While he failed to make an impact when last seen in a Listed heat at Leopardstown, a much improved performance is likely from the Aidan O'Brien-trained Emphasis. A never nearer fourth at the Curragh last month, Slurricane warrants respect, while dual winner Granite Bay is another for the shortlist.

ROSSO created a good impression when landing the odds without too much difficulty at Roscommon 3 weeks ago and with the prospect of further progress now handicapping, he makes plenty of appeal. Emphasis and Highland Bling could be the main dangers.

The form of EMPHASIS' maiden win at Killarney has received a couple of boosts and he could be on a nice mark for his handicap debut.

17:37 Beverley Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

HARDMAN arrives here in top form, building on his gritty Chelmsford win when scoring impressively at Musselburgh nine days ago, and he is fancied to complete the hat-trick. Claxton Bay has been knocking on the door of late and he is likely to be in the shake-up once again, while Edvard Grieg also merits consideration following a pleasing stable debut for Dylan Cunha at Nottingham last month.

EDVARD GRIEG surpassed his Irish form at the first attempt for new connections when second at Nottingham a month ago and from the same mark, a very bold bid to go one place better is on the cards. Hardman chases a hat-trick so demands respect, with Claxton Bay also of interest.

The improving HARDMAN won in good style at Musselburgh recently and is taken to defy a 6lb penalty and complete a hat-trick.

17:45 Warwick NH Flat Race (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GEORGIA'S CHARM made a highly encouraging first bumper start when making the frame at Cork in May and she should take a big leap forward from that effort. The daughter of Order Of St George has since switched to the Harry Fry yard and she looks well placed to make a winning start for her new connections. Honour High is related to a few winners and wasn't an expensive purchase, but she wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary to have a say in this contest on her debut. Any market confidence behind Mustamento should be noted too.

GEORGIA'S CHARM made a promising debut when third of 17 at Cork in May and having transferred to another good yard, she'll take some stopping. Newcomer Honour High may offer most resistance.

The clear form pick is GEORGIA'S CHARM based on her Irish effort. Honour High, who looks best of the newcomers, is feared most.

17:55 Newcastle Maiden (Class 5) 7f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ORANGE SKY finished clear of the rest when second on the soft ground at Newbury on her introduction. This surface could prove more to her liking and the daughter of No Nay Never may edge affairs. Titian Blue took a backwards step at Windsor last time but is upped in distance with a shout, while Harswell Ruby moves in the opposite direction having been set a stiff task in a competitive novices race over a mile at York.

None of these can be ruled out but George Boughey's ORANGE SKY shaped well when runner-up on her recent Newbury second so looks the way to go with improvement very much on the cards from this daughter of No Nay Never. Titian Blue has the form to play a part with Arkinthestars and Sweet Scent also worthy of consideration.

Newbury runner-up ORANGE SKY is taken to go one better. Arkinthestars is feared most, ahead of Titian Blue.

18:30 Newcastle Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MONTICRISTO BOY produced his best effort so far when second on the Tapeta at Southwell. He proved unsuited by the drop back to 5f at Musselburgh on his latest start, but gets another chance back on this surface. Indy's Angel wasn't far behind the selection when fifth at Southwell on her handicap bow and will likely have a say in proceedings, while Ashen Glow gave the impression a return to today's shorter trip would suit when fourth at Chepstow.

If MONTICRISTO BOY can reproduce the form of his penultimate 6f Southwell second he might prove the answer to this nursery. The return to 6f may suit Ashen Glow who is second choice for the Archie Watson/Hollie Doyle combination. Charm Runner and the selection's stablemate Aria's Dream are possible improvers in nurseries and need monitoring in the betting.

Monticristo Boy may do better now back up to 6f but in a weak race the tentative vote goes to ETTORINO.

19:00 Newcastle Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

DOOMSDAY came out second best in a fight to the line over a mile at Musselburgh 10 days ago. He made all to win over today's shorter distance at the same track last month and another strong bid from the front is anticipated. Smalleytime scored over course and distance in April and could feature again competing off a slightly lower mark, while Alice's Impact debuts on the all-weather with a shout based on her victory at Beverley during the summer.

Hollie Doyle has a 2-6 record for Liam Bailey and the pair can combine for another win courtesy of DOOMSDAY. Kevin Ryan 3-y-o Barnaby is second choice ahead of Miss Willows.

It might be worth chancing ASADJUMEIRAH's stamina as he acts well here and he kept on well in both 7f attempts this year.

19:30 Newcastle Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Alibi Warning continues to run well in defeat and she looks sure to be in the shake-up once again, but BAROSSA could be her conqueror this time. Nigel Tinkler's filly arrives following solid win and placed efforts over C&D and she remains attractively handicapped off a mark of 50. Concert Boy, a track-and-trip winner himself, and the dropped-in-trip Believe Me Now are others to note.

Richard Fahey's ALIBI WARNING has been knocking on the door over 6f and might be able to come good now returning to 7f. Barossa has been performing well over C&D lately and is second choice ahead of Believe Me Now and Concert Boy.

Barossa looks solid to go well but BELIEVE ME NOW may have a bit more upside.

20:00 Newcastle Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BALQAA will arrive brimming with confidence following comfortable victories at Southwell and over this C&D, and despite having to shoulder a 5lb penalty for the latter success, she is fancied to round off the hat-trick. Whatwouldyouknow, a three-time track-and-trip scorer, continues to creep down the handicap and could make his presence felt, while Barleybrown also has a squeak with Billy Loughnane on board.

Unlike the majority of these, BALQAA arrives in excellent order and a quick-fire hat-trick may well be on the cards under a penalty. Barleybrown isn't straightforward but he has a fair record over this C&D so he needs considering, with Haaf A Diamond also of interest at the foot of the weights.

Off a mark she defied in her early days, BALQAA (nap) looks capable of completing a hat-trick. Barleybrown is second choice.

20:30 Newcastle Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Craig Lidster looks to have a strong hand here with Alfa Whiteburd and EAST BANK. The former produced a career-best performance when runner-up at Catterick last time and demands respect, but his stablemate has looked more convincing on the all-weather, including running well in first-time blinkers over 7f here latest, and he could regain the winning thread. Noble Captain and Golden Duke also hold claims in a competitive event.

EAST BANK is below his last winning mark, gained at this venue, and having shaped as though back in form over 7f here 12 days ago, a bold bid looks assured returned to 6f. Lord Abama also lurks on a dangerous mark and is feared, while Golden Duke is likely to be in the thick of action down slightly in class.

Golden Duke and Callianassa are dangerous but HE'S AN ANGEL hinted at a full revival at Southwell last time.
