13:45 Newbury Handicap (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having filled the runner-up berth at Bath and Yarmouth in recent months, compensation could be headed in EXPERT WITNESS' direction. Sir Mark Todd's filly is effectively racing off a 5lb lower mark if taking Ned Sangster's 7lb claim into account and she edges the vote over Anglo Saxson. The seven-year-old arrives in good heart and this longer trip looks worth another go. Finn Russell also enters calculations after a solid third on his return from a break at Windsor recently.

This can go to EXPERT WITNESS, who was clear of the rest when runner-up at Yarmouth last month and remains fairly treated. Albus Anne and Anglo Saxson head the list of dangers.

The suggestion is GERT LUSH, who goes well for Megan Jordon and who moves back up in trip after a very respectable effort over 1m.

14:00 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Anif wins in his turn but it's well over three years since he last won races back-to-back and carries risk in his bid follow up last month's C&D success. Realised, a close third that day, is possibly the one to take from that race, given he has a 3lb pull at the weights. Nevertheless, there have been signs of a revival posted by HARRY THE HAGGLER of late and, back on a winning mark, the Stuart Williams-trained gelding looks the pick of this bunch on current ratings.

HARRY THE HAGGLER is in good order and this looks weaker than the 0-70 he finished third in at Newmarket, so he's marginally preferred to Seattle Time, who was runner-up at this course last time. Realised is another one to consider.

Seattle Time (second choice) has finished second on both visits to Yarmouth, but preference is for the in-form HARRY THE HAGGLER.

14:10 Nottingham Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Fly Liberty Fly made an encouraging beginning to his career when third at Redcar, and the winner did the form no harm when running with credit in a good race at Beverley last weekend. Mehmasself And I and Dr T H G should step forward from their introductions, but AOMORI CITY leaps off the page as a 260,000-euro Godolphin newcomer. He is an Oasis Dream half-brother to a decent sort in France and Charlie Appleby will have him well prepared for his first taste of competitive action.

Sure to be expertly prepared for this debut, a winning debut for AOMORI CITY would come as no surprise whatsoever. Fellow newcomers Intrusively and Mystical Sky could be the main threats.

Charlie Appleby won this with Blue Point in 2016 (also sent out the runner-up in 2021) and AOMORI CITY can make a winning debut.

14:20 Newbury Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

There was enough encouragement to be taken from BERKSHIRE KAMEO's debut third at Goodwood to suggest that he can land a race at this level. The son of Kameko should put that experience to good use and he rates as the one to beat. Connections of 525,000gns debutant Anno Domini will be looking to recoup some of that hefty purchase price and market support for Charlie Appleby's colt must be noted. Organ is also likely to feature after a promising fourth here in mid-May.

Usually a typically interesting novice for the track and this certainly fits the bill on paper, with Godolphin's ANNO DOMINI, another expensive Craven Breeze-Up purchase by them, taken to become their latest 2-y-o to strike on debut. Wild Clary was a huge eye-catcher here first time up last month and looks set to improve markedly. Mighty Ruler and Seraph Gabriel are a couple of the other notable newcomers.

This looks a good novice. Charlie Appleby won this two years ago and he introduces the 525,000gns breeze-up buy ANNO DOMINI.

However, the son of Zoustar is starting to look vulnerable to less exposed types and may again have to play second fiddle if GOOD GOOD GOOD, who is a half-sister to Richmond Stakes runner-up Al Karrar, hits the gates running on her debut for an in-form yard. Arkhalia Flynn and the first-time-visored Ravensbourne are a couple of others to consider.

TOURIST has made a positive start for his new stable and a repeat of the form he showed when second in a Haydock handicap last time should be enough to go one better unless Good Good Good proves to be above average on debut. Arkhalia Flynn may yet improve, so he's not a forlorn hope.

Soft ground and a handy 7lb claim off her back might help RAVENSBOURNE improve on what she's shown and she is the suggestion.

14:40 Nottingham Maiden (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Washeek had the unenviable task of chasing home the classy God's Window in a three-runner affair here, although the winner has hardly franked the form in a couple of Derby trials and the Classic itself. Karl Burke's gelding only beat a 40/1 newcomer by a couple of lengths so a better option looks to be INDEMNITY, who has held his own in a couple of competitive handicaps and can show his appreciation for the return to maiden company. Devious Devan's C&D third was a step in the right direction, and Ajdayet's Doncaster debut wasn't without promise. Ina Mina is worth a look in the market.

INDEMNITY has been rather expensive to follow but it's hard to be critical over a much-improved showing on the figures when second again in handicap company at Leicester recently. A repeat of that display should be enough to get the job done, for all Ajdayet is open to improvement, while Ina Mina is a likely-looking type on paper.

Indemnity sets a good standard but both Pacific Prince and AJDAYET are open to considerable improvement.

14:50 Newbury Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Havanarama struggled to land a blow when outclassed at Chester last month and it would be no surprise to see Hugo Palmer's gelding bounce back at a more suitable level. However, BORN A REBEL makes slightly more appeal having finished a close-up second at Leicester when attempting to supplement a Yarmouth triumph. A further 2lb rise in the ratings looks more than fair for the Outstrip filly and a second victory could be on the cards. Asimov may chase the duo home.

BORN A REBEL comes here on the back of a very good Leicester second when giving the winner first run so is fancied to quickly resume winning ways off just a 2 lb higher mark. Asimov also didn't enjoy the rub of the green when fourth at Nottingham last time out so heads the list of dangers. Havanarama is another who can have a say if shrugging off a lesser effort at Chester.

James Fanshawe's ASIMOV appeals as one with more to offer and gets the vote if taking his chance. Born A Rebel is solid.

15:00 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SMART CHARGER saw the trip out well to get up narrowly over C&D last month and may have more to give with his stamina now proven. With first-time cheekpieces added on just his third start for the the Alan King yard, a 3lb higher mark might not be enough to prevent him from following up. Placated and Hill Spirit have both done well over this trip on the all-weather of late and are other solid contenders for consideration.

SMART CHARGER showed a good attitude to score over C&D last time and he's unexposed as a stayer, so he gets the nod over fellow last-time-out winner Placated, who also has plenty to recommend her. Hill Spirit is also considered.

C&D winner SMART CHARGER has raised his game for Alan King, so could prove capable of going in again in newly applied cheekpieces

15:10 Nottingham Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Post Rider made all to break through at Brighton, although she may not be allowed her own way this time and it could pay to side with one of the slightly less exposed handicap newcomers. INTERTWINED fits that bill and if she turns up in the form that carried her into third on her Newbury debut, rather than her two subsequent efforts, a mark of 66 could be lenient. Better is anticipated from Marianglas and Yellow Lemons, while Delicacy, Little Heron and Notre Dame have to enter the equation too.

LITTLE HERON looks the way to go here given she can race off the same mark as when an excellent third at Kempton last time. Handicap debutante Post Rider looks to have more to offer so this recent Brighton novice scorer is next on the list. Delicacy is weighted to have a say, while dual scorer Notre Dame also needs factoring into this intriguing handicap.

Marianglas can do better in handicaps but LITTLE HERON is taken to build on the promise of her recent Kempton third.

15:25 Newbury Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GLOBAL ASSET took a step forward when a neck second on his handicap debut over this trip at Windsor a month ago and William Haggas' unexposed gelding merits the utmost respect, despite a 3lb rise in the ratings. Great Acclaim is an obvious threat following his breakthrough success at the same venue. Tayala edges out Heartwarmer to be best of the rest.

GLOBAL ASSET was strong in the betting when runner-up on handicap debut at Windsor, denied only by another improver, and he's worth a chance to go one better with further progress on the cards. Last-time-out winner Great Acclaim is an obvious threat and Heartwarmer deserves respect following an encouraging run in a relatively competitive event at Newmarket.

There's no doubt further improvement in GLOBAL ASSET who did everything but win at Windsor in a solidly run race.

15:35 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Tribal Chief has to be of interest following his successful handicap debut at Nottingham earlier in the month, but a 6lb penalty will make life tougher for him. With that in mind, preference is for SALAMANCA CITY, who put in a career best when third off this mark at Leicester and she may still have more to offer. Baroque Buoy edges out Beach Point and Miss Sunset Strip to be best of the rest.

BEACH POINT impressed when scoring at Doncaster last month and wasn't seen to best effect when second at Lingfield next time. There are more races to be won with him this season and he gets the narrow vote over Tribal Chief, who showed a good attitude to open his account at Nottingham recently. This looks a strong race for the grade and Atlantic Gamble, a stablemate of the selection, is one of several others who are worthy of consideration.

The manner of the win by TRIBAL CHIEF (nap) last time suggests he is capable of defying a penalty and adding to that success.

15:45 Nottingham Handicap (Class 3) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

GREAT BLASKET only just failed to complete the four-timer over C&D and, with Hollie Doyle back in the plate, he could be worth sticking with. The Gregorian gelding is due to go up 1lb in the near future, and Doyle gave him a lovely, patient ride when successful at Newmarket two starts ago. Yorkshire looks to have improved from three to four, judged on his win and placed efforts at Thirsk and Doncaster respectively, and he is the obvious danger. The rest arrive with something to prove, but Benacre could pinch third.

Edward Bethell's YORKSHIRE arrives on the up and is fancied to quickly resume winning ways on the back of his excellent Doncaster second. Great Blasket is feared most in his bid for a fourth success of 2024, with Master Zoffany and Sudden Ambush both weighted to go well if back on their respective A-games.

His Wolverhampton third in March confirmed he retained ability and BENACRE may be able to dictate matters now down in class.

16:00 Newbury Stakes (Class 2) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

CLOVE HITCH has improved with every start to date and an official mark of 90 suggests that the daughter of Siyouni will be hard to beat in this company. Sambucus and Izipizi have also shown ability and should not be discounted, although both will need to progress to beat the selection. Fior Di Bosco, a 240,000gns purchase, is a half-sister to the 2000 Guineas winner Galileo Gold and is the pick of the newcomers, ahead of stablemate Heaven Blessed.

Having finished third in a very warm C&D maiden in April, CLOVE HITCH took another step forward when second at Windsor, clear of the rest. She can go another place better, possibly at the chief expense of Sambucus and Izipzi unless there's strong market support for a newcomer.

The standard is set by CLOVE HITCH and it's a pretty high one. Sambucus is a possible big improver after her Bath debut.

16:10 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Moreginplease has to be high on the shortlist after getting off the mark at Lingfield last month. However, she is 5lb higher here and is not the most reliable of performers, so AMROON gets the vote. Marco Botti's gelding has been running well in defeat on the all-weather of late and is likely to be in the mix if transferring that ability to turf. Edergole's Gift (third) and Another Jack (fourth) were behind Moreginplease last time, but could get closer on better terms.

MOREGINPLEASE landed a gamble in good style at Lingfield a fortnight ago and she remains with handicapping scope on turf, so she's taken to confirm the form over Edergole's Gift, who was third that day. Amroon should also give a good account.

Marco Botti's AMROON has proved ultra-consistent on AW since a gelding operation, and hasn't had too many opportunities on turf.

16:20 Nottingham Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

RHYTHMIC ACCLAIM has impressively rattled off a hat-trick and it looks a shrewd move to bounce her out quickly before a further 5lb rise comes into play. She produced a career-best performance at Goodwood and the feeling is that there is plenty more to come. Crafty Spirit justified favouritism when successful on his handicap debut at Kempton and he should remain competitive off a 3lb higher mark, while Em Jay Kay and Enderman are others to keep an eye on.

RHYTHMIC ACCLAIM is on a roll and a 1 lb rise for her most recent success at Goodwood doesn't look sufficient to prevent her from completing a four-timer. Em Jay Kay is feared most on the back of his good Newmarket second, although Enderman, Prince of Bel Lir and Crafty Spirit all command plenty of respect too.

This looks warm for the grade but, even so, RHYTHMIC ACCLAIM (nap) makes considerable appeal in her bid for a four-timer.

16:30 Newbury Handicap (Class 3) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

HICKORY arrives here on the back of two very encouraging efforts this season, the most recent of which being a fourth in the Victoria Cup last month. Down in grade and off the same mark, the six-year-old can take full advantage. Pearle D'or was behind the selection when sent off favourite at Ascot, but showed more at Doncaster subsequently and should not be discounted. The shortlist is completed by Be Frank, Game Set and Sterling Knight.

Plenty in with a squeak but METAVERSE resumed progress with the return to 7f firmly in his favour when runner-up at Kempton just over 3 weeks ago and, provided he takes to the turf, David Menuisier's 4-y-o is fancied to double his career tally at the expense of Hickory, who did well under the circumstances when fourth at Ascot last month and has William Buick up for the first time. Pearle d'Or can edge out Under The Twilight for third.

Stacks went wrong for HICKORY (nap) in the Victoria Cup last time but he still ran on into fourth of 21 in that top handicap.

16:40 Yarmouth Stakes (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

In a moderate event, marginal preference is for BERNARD SPIERPOINT, who showed some promise when fifth in a handicap at Brighton last month. A reproduction of that form would give him a big chance at this level, now back with the Charlie Wallis team. Similar comments apply to Porfin after his effort at Leicester recently, while Fantasy Navigator and Justahunch are others who merit places on the shortlist.

Tricky stuff with BERNARD SPIERPOINT chanced back with Charlie Wallis. His last win came in a classified event over C&D this time last year and this is his first go in one since. Porfin and Fantasy Navigator are a couple of others to consider.

The suggestion is PORFIN, who knows how to win and has run well here in the past.

16:45 Leopardstown Maiden 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TRANSCENDING showed promise on debut behind stablemate Sparkling Sea in a Naas maiden that has worked out well and again shaped well here over C&D last week behind Bedtime Story. Gazelle D'or made a very encouraging start when overcoming some trouble in running to beat all bar the Ger Lyons-trained One Smack Mac at Naas last month. Riding arrangements suggest Proxima Centauri is preferred of the Jessica Harrington-trained pair and that's hardly a surprise given her pedigree. Shane Foley's mount is out of the star mare Alpha Centauri who has already produced a useful sort in Saturn, while Now is another newcomer to consider being a half-sister to six winners notably the top-class Rip Van Winkle.

GAZELLE D'OR made a bright start at Naas last month and she sets a pretty good standard for all there are a number of interesting newcomers, headed by Proxima Centauri and Now. Transcending should go well again also.

A clear fourth over C&D last week in what appeared a decent maiden, TRANSCENDING (nap) can put that experience to good use here

16:55 Nottingham Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

TOPTIME ran right up to his best when scoring over 6f at Doncaster last time and, with dropping back in trip unlikely to cause any problems (won over 5f at Southwell in January), he gets the vote to defy a 6lb rise in the ratings. Recent Leicester scorer Mrs Trump would probably want some rain to be seen at her best, but she is 3lb well-in and should give the follow-up bid a good go. Rogue De Vega and Enchanted Night are also worthy of consideration.

Not as competitive as the numbers suggest and given MRS TRUMP can race off the same mark as when going in at Leicester last week she makes lots of appeal. Doncaster scorer Toptime appeals as the one to chase home Paul Midgley's well-treated filly, with top-weight Rogue de Vega also in the equation.

Mrs Trump is the obvious starting point but RHUBARB has often run well at Nottingham and is a viable alternative.

17:05 Newbury Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

WHENTHEDEALINSDONE returned to turf with a solid effort for fourth behind Sixties Chic at Windsor towards the end of last month and a 7lb swing on this occasion makes Roger Teal's gelding of significant interest. Sixties Chic is likely to find life tougher, despite being progressive this year, while last week's Nottingham scorer Abbey Heights and the consistent veteran Treacherous are others likely to be in the mix.

SIXTIES CHIC was value for extra when scoring at Windsor last time, having to overcome trouble in running, so she is taken to continue her good run of form and follow up. Whenthedealinsdone has also been going through a good spell and could be thereabouts once more, with Starproof completing the shortlist.

The progressive filly SIXTIES CHIC returned from a break with a win at Windsor last month and can defy a 6lb rise and follow up.

17:20 Leopardstown Maiden 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

LUCKY MELODY cost 195,000 euro as a foal and the half-brother to Lucky Vega, who won the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes for the same connections, has already gained some racecourse experience when winning a barrier trial at Naas last month. Golden Ocean didn't enjoy the clearest of passages on debut but kept on well inside the final furlong when beaten less than three lengths behind Serialise at Naas last month. The Michael O'Callaghan-trained filly should benefit from that experience and may have more scope for improvement than Ebanza who has put together four consistent runs and had Campari Soda behind on her latest outing at the Curragh last month.

Greenness did for GOLDEN OCEAN when a well-backed fourth at Naas on debut last month and this €200,000 Blue Point filly seems sure to improve, so looks the way to go. Lucky Melody and Makaiah are interesting newcomers, while Ebanza surely has a race like this in her if she can keep straight.

It was an eyecatching debut from GOLDEN OCEAN who looked green and didn't get much of a run at Naas but should do better now

17:30 Nottingham Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Difficult to be too confident about any of these, but COPPER MOUNTAIN has been knocking on the door on the all-weather and gets in here off a handy weight. The turf is no worry with her and she receives a tentative vote in a tricky handicap. Wallaroo remains a maiden on the grass but warrants respect following a solid runner-up effort at Wolverhampton, while Stintino Sunset makes up the shortlist.

STINTINO SUNSET should have finished closer at Leicester last time as she stayed on strongly having met trouble and been poorly placed. She's worth chancing to confirm that promise with victory. Regency Boy belatedly proved he retains some ability behind that rival at Leicester and could build on that. Bakersboy is another who could feature.

The suggestion is STINTINO SUNSET who might well have been seriously involved last time at Leicester with a clearer passage.

17:40 Newbury Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LAURA BAY stepped forward on her handicap bow when getting off the mark here over 1m2f. The daughter of New Bay seemed to appreciate a sounder surface and is expected to benefit from an extra couple of furlongs. Rakki produced his best effort so far when third behind a couple of progressive types at Windsor and has to enter the reckoning. Al Khawaneej River and handicap debutant North Winterfell complete the shortlist.

A tight-knit handicap in which the handily-weighted AULIS is taken to get off the mark with the form of his latest Salisbury third having been franked. Course scorer Laura Bay is feared most now her stamina is drawn out more with in-form maidens Rakki and Forest Hills also in the picture.

1m2f Newbury winner LAURA BAY can score again from Forest Hills, with Wonder Kid and Al Khawaneej River also considered.

17:50 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Dropping in trip brought about marked improvement from WHAT A STEAL on his second start over fences when getting off the mark here at the start of the month. The handicapper gave him a 7lb rise for that success and the son of Flemensfirth may well have more to offer. Camino Rocio also took a step in the right direction when runner-up to the selection on his first attempt over the larger obstacles and he is respected, along with Calvic, who sports cheekpieces for the first time.

It could be worth taking a chance on BLAZING COURT, who has yet to win a race but is certainly built for chasing and tackles fences for the first time here. What A Steal and Camino Rocio occupied the first two positions in a C&D handicap recently and are just a couple of potential threats.

This looks between WHAT A STEAL and Camino Rocio who fought out the finish here recently and the former can confirm the placings

17:55 Leopardstown Group 3 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MUTASARREF is best suited by this trip and a sound surface so hopefully the forecast rain will not impact the ground conditions too much. The Ger Lyons-trained gelding can often find trouble in running and that was the case at Naas last time where he showed a good turn of foot to beat Special Wan (now 5lb worse off). Real Appeal was second in this race 12 months ago and made a winning return at Dundalk this spring before being caught close home in the Group 3 Amethyst Stakes over a mile here last month. You Send Me was just denied in the Group 3 Athasi Stakes over this trip at the Curragh while I Am Superman is another to consider.

A tightly-knit Group 3 where a case of sorts can be made for each of the septet. MUTASARREF was right back to his best when winning in listed company and is marginally preferred to Real Appeal (a regular in this race) and Bright Stripes.

Three times a winner at Listed level MUTASARREF can land a first Group win here

18:10 Musselburgh Maiden (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

FIRST ALLIANCE was possibly a bit too keen when he finished fourth at Newcastle in March but, given the winner of that race subsequently landed a Group 2 and the runner-up also scored in a decent handicap, the form has a good look to it. National Interest has been gelded and displayed promise on both starts last season, so commands respect on his return for a top yard. Naepoint and Dain Ma Nut In complete the shortlist.

With testing ground possibly against him on his second outing, NATIONAL INTEREST is better judged on his very promising debut when runner-up in a valuable event at Deauville last August. Having been gelded since, he can get back on track to open his account, with First Alliance feared most ahead of Naepoint.

The William Haggas-trained NATIONAL INTEREST holds leading claims on his debut second at Deauville and had an excuse next time.

18:20 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

MATTERHORN had become disappointing over hurdles before returning to form on his fencing debut at Ludlow when scoring in a match contest. He jumped fine on the whole after an early error and the handicapper left his mark unchanged. Parc d'Amour went up 6lb for his victory at Southwell last month and is entitled to step forward, while Boombawn's third at Cartmel was a solid effort against more experienced chasers.

A case can be made for all 4 runners, but preference is for BOOMBAWN, who made a winning start over fences at Warwick then shaped perfectly well pitched into a strongly-run race against much more established chasers when third at Cartmel last month. Both Matterhorn and Parc d'Amour made a winning chasing debut last month, and they can chase home Dan Skelton's charge in that order.

An intriguing puzzle but BOOMBAWN is the more reliable option. The quirky but talented \Parc d'Amour\p is second best.

18:30 Leopardstown Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

There was little to choose between Imperial Dream and SHOOT TO KILL when the pair were only beaten about a length over this trip at Down Royal last month with Chestnutter back in eighth. Not a lot went right for the selection on that occasion as he ran loose before the start and perhaps he can add to eight previous in the UK. Giuseppe Cassioli made a pleasing reappearance when beaten less than a length over a mile here last month, while Ice Cold In Alex has been a great servant for Ken Condon and still retains plenty of ability as evidenced by his two recent runs at the Curragh. Pier Pressure progressed well last year and should benefit from his recent run at the Curragh.

A case can be made for plenty of these but GIUSEPPE CASSIOLI was a good third here last time and can build on it to resume winning ways. Shoot To Kill heads the list of dangers, although a solid case can also be made for Imperial Dream, Pier Pressure and Brains in a competitive handicap.

BRAINS shades the vote. He'll face some pace pressure but he's still on a good mark and looks capable of gaining another turf win

Just a length separated Tafsir (fourth) and DESERT QUEST (sixth) when they met over an extended 1m4f at Newcastle in April and, while the former won a similar race at Ayr on her penultimate start, the latter has also performed well since and, with a 3lb pull at the weights, he can reverse the form over this longer trip. Red Force One is a proven stayer and is noted along with Rioja Alta.

TAFSIR finished well once in the clear at Hamilton 11 days ago and, with the return to further looking sure to suit, she's fancied to resume winning ways. Desert Quest is feared most.

The in-form mare TAFSIR (nap) is a two-time course winner and can add to last month's success at Ayr. Red Force One is a danger.

18:50 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 3) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

SCRUM DIDDLY returned from a break when gaining a first success over fences at Southwell last month and the six-year-old remains capable of further progress, especially with conditions in his favour. Morning Spirit bounced back to form when runner-up on his latest start and is likely to be competitive again. Jessie Lightfoot, One More Fleurie and Tiger Orchid appeal most of the remainder.

A few with chances but SCRUM DIDDLY is taken to build on his breakthrough chasing victory at Southwell off just a 2 lb higher mark. Ludlow runner-up Percussion is on a lengthy losing sequence but still feared most, while both Jessie Lightfoot and Dublin Four need factoring into this open contest.

Preference is for PERCUSSION, who chased home an in-form rival in a hunter chase in April and returns to a handicap on a good mark.

19:00 Leopardstown Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Six-time winner HALF NUTZ hasn't won since September 2022 but met significant in-running traffic last time and has dropped down the ratings. A perennial slow-starter, he was well held at Down Royal only six days prior to the Curragh, but his most recent start offered signs that he can win off this rating, under these suitable conditions. Consistent Lauroline ran well on her debut for new connections recently but is a 14-race maiden which might ideally prefer a mile. Mullacash Buzz is well suited by this distance and while he disappointed on his most recent run at Dundalk, returns from a break, with two of his previous six wins coming on turf.

Preference is for LAUROLINE, who made a pleasing start for Paul Flynn at Listowel earlier this month and can race off same mark. Alessia Fernanda and Play It Again Zaam can also make their presence felt.

She's still a maiden but LAUROLINE has looked capable of getting off the mark in recent times and she ran with credit on yard debut

19:10 Musselburgh Seller (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

UNSPOKEN LOVE is an appealing type for a race of this nature and rates a logical choice after a near miss in a deeper race at Wetherby 10 days ago. The Craig Lidster-trained J Street didn't land a telling blow after being hampered at the start in the Woodcote at Epsom but is one to consider closely given this represents a marked drop in class. Stat Goddess also runs for the Lidster yard and could easily go well.

UNSPOKEN LOVE stepped up on her debut form when second at Wetherby 10 days ago and should take plenty of beating dropped in grade. J Street had little go right in the Woodcote at Epsom and is preferred to Harswell Dandy for forecast purposes.

Having gone close at Wetherby recently on her second start, UNSPOKEN LOVE holds stand-out form claims. J Street may be next best.

19:25 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Having showed a bit more verve in a first-time tongue-tie when third at Warwick last month, LALLYGAG could be ready to strike. Paul Nicholls' charge could unlock some improvement over this stiffer test of stamina and he shades the verdict over stable debutant Coltor. The seven-year-old is used to keeping better company than this and shouldn't be taken lightly, while cheekpieces look just the aid that could eke some improvement out of Peking Rose, who might also feature prominently.

A chance is taken on BUCKO'S BOY, who proved better than ever last season and could get firmly back on track following a break. Mr Yeats returned from a 7-month absence with a creditable effort at Cartmel last month, while Judicial Law is sure to pose a big threat if returning to anywhere near his best.

He was below form on good to soft ground last time but NORTON HILL made good progress on good ground last season and gets the nod.

19:30 Leopardstown Maiden 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DURAJI is a regally-bred brother to Ghaiyyath and showed plenty ability on debut. Out of a 1,000 Guineas winner, he made a belated maiden debut at Gowran recently and while the winner had been twice-raced, the third-placed horse is rated 89 and the selection shaped as though he would improve and also holds an Irish Derby entry. Galileo-sired Vice President has no big-race entries but ran well when making the running for stablemate Highbury here last month. That form is strong, with the runner-up and fourth winning subsequently (Improvista finished fifth) but is vulnerable to a smart type. Celestial Reign should improve from his Sligo reappearance run but contests a better race in first time cheekpieces and a tongue-tie.

VICE PRESIDENT and Duraji both showed plenty on debut and there's more to come, so they're fancied to dominate this, with the former likely to prevail. Improvista also has plenty of potential, although she has a bit to find with the aforementioned pair.

VICE PRESIDENT looked plenty raw on debut here last month but showed enough to suggest he take the beating here down in trip

19:40 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 5) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HE'S GOT GAME bumped into a subsequent two-time winner when finishing second on his handicap debut over a mile at Windsor in April, before making no mistake over the same C&D the following month. That recent win can be upgraded after he stumbled leaving the stalls and, upped 4lb, he is hard to oppose. Rosenzoo arrives on the back of a couple of below-par efforts but, racing off 2lb below his last winning mark, he warrants consideration. Spook makes her handicap debut and also enters calculations.

HE'S GOT GAME has improved with each start, overcoming an early stumble when off the mark at Windsor a month ago. A 4 lb rise therefore looks lenient, so he's strongly fancied to go in again. Rosenzoo is offered for forecast purposes.

There's lots to like about HE'S GOT GAME, who won at Windsor last month despite an early stumble. Spook is unexposed.

19:55 Worcester Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

VOCITO made a highly encouraging start for the Olly Murphy stable when only being denied by a length into second at Perth last month. He sets the standard with a rating of 106 and the six-year-old may only need to reproduce that effort in order to go one place better, with his main threat possibly being Reach For The Moon, who was a Group 3 winner on the Flat and can be given another chance after finishing a well-beaten fourth at Sedgefield on hurdling bow, as he was reported to be lame after that particular contest. Jacobs Acre completes the shortlist.

REACH FOR THE MOON was talented on the Flat and had excuses when only fourth on hurdling debut at Sedgefield so, 4 months on, he's worth a chance to open his account in this sphere at the possible expense of Vocito, who sets the standard.

This can go to VOCITO, who ran well in defeat on last month's stable debut and sets a fair standard.

20:00 Leopardstown Handicap 9f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CONCLUDING CALL has top weight on handicap debut but is well related and might prove a little better than her rating. She is progressive and, when winning at Navan last month, she turned previous form with the runner-up. The selection is a sibling to two Listed winners and should compete. Five-time winner Feature This scored for the first time on grass when winning over a mile here last month. She has been raised 5lb to 60 for that narrow success but is rated 63 on the all-weather and today's rider now claims 5lb. Alabama Calling had previous handicap form prior to winning a restricted maiden last month and while today's rider claims 5lb, has been raised 7lb from Limerick.

Loads in with chances but the vote goes to top-weight CONCLUDING CALL, who got off the mark at Navan just over 5 weeks ago and now heads into handicaps with some untapped potential. Toriangel scored at this track last month, so she looks sure to go well again despite an 8 lb rise, with Cleopatra's Needle, Sumptuary Law and Everylittlestep a handful of others worth considering, too.

An opening mark of 78 looks exploitable for top-weight CONCLUDING CALL after her Navan maiden win, this extra furlong likely to suit

20:15 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Scarriff fairly bolted up over a mile here earlier this month, but she is likely to be well found in the market as a result and, dropping in trip off a 10lb higher mark, the value could lie with PEMBROKESHIRE. He performed with promise when finishing third on his penultimate start over 7f at Ayr last month, before shaping like he was still in good heart when sixth in a higher grade most recently. Dropping in class off a tumbling mark, a bold bid could be on the cards. Recent Catterick winner Patontheback is noted too.

Having cashed in on a very handy mark at Catterick on Saturday, PATONTHEBACK is fancied to follow up under a 5 lb penalty in what is a slightly weaker race. Scarriff turned a 1m handicap into a one-sided affair 12 days ago and while a 10 lb rise asks a question, she remains the main danger.

The return to Musselburgh could be just what SPARKLE IN HIS EYE needs. He has a good record over C&D. Scarriff is feared most.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CUSANO improved from first to second start over hurdles when a highly encouraging runner-up at Huntingdon last month and a mark of 98 on handicap debut looks manageable representing in-form connections. Only worn down late in the piece when second at Southwell last time, Ascension Day can give him most to think about, while Jack The Savage has strong claims on his penultimate second at Hereford. Garitsa Bay and The Sad Shepherd cannot be ruled out either.

ASCENSION DAY pulled clear of the rest when runner-up on handicap debut at Southwell last month and can get off the mark here. Cawthorne Cracker and Cusano are feared most.

The one with scope is CUSANO (nap) now in his first handicap. The consistent Ascension Day may well get second.

20:30 Leopardstown Handicap 9f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DAONETHATGOTAWAY has one below par run at Sligo this year but is otherwise quite reliable and might defy a 5lb rise for winning at Listowel. He has progressed well in handicaps in recent times, is suited by today's conditions and finished nicely ahead of today's top-weight Comfort Line when winning from a wide draw at Listowel. Sheen Falls Time won well on her handicap debut at Sligo last month. She is open to plenty more progression but is 8lb higher and now meets older horses for the first time. All-weather winner Pascalia has been running well but is now tried in first-time blinkers and has a very wide draw in 24.

PASCALIA has returned to turf in top form and could be the way to go in this huge field. Sheen Falls Time and Daonethatgotaway both scored last time out and are respected. Comfort Line and Spring Collection are another couple of dangers.

Slight preference is for DUMB LOVE who should appreciate conditions and she hinted at a revival when fifth last week

20:45 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

GOLDEN RAINBOW got the better of a subsequent winner when scoring gamely over 5f at Thirsk last week. Turned out again quickly, the suspicion is that a 5lb penalty may not be enough to anchor him. Sixcor has posted some solid efforts in defeat this season and, off 1lb lower than his last winning mark, a bold showing would come as no surprise. Wakai Umi showed improved form when finishing third in first-time cheekpieces at Lingfield last month and she completes the shortlist.

This is comfortably the weakest handicap HAVAGOMECCA has ever contested and having shaped as though back in reasonable nick in first-time blinkers last week, she could be the answer. Last-time-out winner Golden Rainbow and Wakai Umi look the chief threats.

Topweight HAVAGOMECCA is taken to capitalise on this drop in grade and return to Musselburgh, where her last win came.

21:00 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A highly creditable second when making her handicap debut at Fontwell last month behind a progressive mare who has won twice since, JANWORTH is entitled to improve for going up in trip and this looks like a golden opportunity in an average contest. She may not be the most consistent, but Dancingontheedge is well capable on her day and she is a key player, along with the more reliable Giulietta, who has been placed on each of her last three starts.

Having dropped a long way in the weights, ASA returned to form when beaten only by an improver at Market Rasen last time, so she is taken to build on that effort and get her head in front. The main danger could be Dancingontheedge, who is capable of getting involved from her current mark, with Giulietta also in the mix.

Harry Fry's GOODTIMECREW was placed on her chasing debut, despite not jumping well, and may fare better now back over hurdles.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
