14:15 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

FOUGERE won, albeit narrowly, at Nottingham last time out when sent off joint-favourite in a first-time hood and although upped 3lb for that, she may be up to going in again in this field. City Escape hasn't got her head in front since last September, but was beaten less than a length at Leicester recently and she could prove a huge danger. Course winner Duchess, who scored over a mile here in May, races off just 4lb higher now.

Dean Ivory's filly FOUGERE took her form up a notch in a first-time hood when scoring at Nottingham last month and can make light of a 3 lb weights rise with that form having been franked. Miss Harmony hinted at a revival when fifth at Hamilton last time out so rates the chief threat ahead of C&D winner Mc'Ted.

A chance is taken on CITY ESCAPE, who is threatening off her reduced mark and Saturday's forecast rain won't hinder her prospects.

14:50 Yarmouth Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Ellaria Sand has a 6lb winner's penalty and was beaten over five lengths on her one try at this trip earlier in the month. She can go well, but preference is for BELLATOR BULLET, who was second on his only start at Redcar when slowly away and running green. He can learn from that and if he does improve, he looks the one to beat. The dropped-in-class Pellitory is a serious rival after his fourth here in a much better race.

ELLARIA SAND was no match for a very promising winner here last time and can resume winning ways. Portnoy shaped well on debut at Kempton and should improve, while Watkins is an appealing newcomer.

This looks open for a novice. Newbury winner ELLARIA SAND may have bumped into a Pattern-class horse here last time.

15:25 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 5) 8f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Anglo Saxson likes it here, with four out of his five career victories coming at the track, although he wasn't at his best when 11th at Doncaster last month and needs to bounce back. Embarked was beaten just half a length off this mark at Southwell and is worth another try at the mile, but a chance is taken on STRAIGHT A. A 6f winner here in June 2023, this will be his second outing for Mick Appleby and he can go well off 2lb lower and upped to this trip.

BELLA BISBEE has got back on track with blinkers enlisted, showing the best turn of foot when resuming winning ways at Doncaster (1m) 8 days ago. She looks a live player again up 5 lb, with King of Fury and last year's winner Renesmee others to consider. Straight A and Falcon Nine shouldn't be given up on either.

The suggestion is KING OF FURY who will go on the ground should conditions soften up and he's in better form than a lot of these.

16:00 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 2) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

CALUMET improved markedly for the step up to 1m2f when scoring impressively at Windsor, and a mark of 91 could underestimate his true potential on handicap debut. Marco Botti's unexposed three-year-old may have too much for Southwell winner Victorious Street, as well as Mutaawid, who performed with credit over 1m4f at Ascot but may be better suited by dropping back in distance. Placed in valuable handicaps the last twice at Goodwood and York, Tony Montana is a big player too.

The 3-y-os look the trio to concentrate on, with VICTORIOUS STREET preferred to Calumet and Mutaawid,

Cambridgeshire entrant MUTAAWID (nap) could be ideally served by a strongly run race on this drop back in trip.

16:35 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A respectable fourth over the minimum trip at Leicester, SHIBUYA STORM should be much more at home back at 6f, having scored over this trip at Lingfield on her penultimate outing. The booking of Robert Havlin is a positive one and she can strike on handicap debut, with Huddle Up looking best placed to chase her home following a sound runner-up effort at Pontefract on his first start for new connections. Now that Sovereign Knight has regained the winning thread after a taking performance at Chelmsford, he can also have a say in proceedings.

HUDDLE UP made a positive start for his new stable when runner-up despite a wide draw at Pontefract last time and, with more in his favour, he's fancied to go one better at the possible expense of Sovereign Knight, who was going away at the finish when scoring at Chelmsford 10 days ago. Phoenix Beach, another last-time-out winner, is also respected.

This could go to HUDDLE UP who was consistent for the Barrons and he endured a wide trip at Pontefract when second on his stable debut.

17:10 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Now that the penny has dropped for GULTARI after a determined breakthrough success here over shorter, William Haggas' filly is likely to have plenty more improvement forthcoming going back over 7f. Runner-up on each of his last two starts at Brighton, Interestnpenalties can give her the most to think about, although Dion Baker was a comfortable winner at Leicester on his penultimate outing and is dangerous if performing to that level.

GULTARI showed a good attitude when scoring here earlier this month and hasn't been harshly treated for that success. She can follow up. Interestnpenalties and Dion Baker rate the principal dangers.

Provided she's as effective with the hood discarded, steadily progressive GULTARI could well follow up her course win.
