LTO Selection:

13:50 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A winner of three of his last five starts over C&D, including last time out, ANGLO SAXSON could be the one to beat once more off a mark that is still 13lb below his career-high rating. Only a head separated Free Step (first) and Revolutionary Man (second) when they met over C&D last month and it is the latter who is taken to come out on top this time around.

FREE STEP made light of a 6-month lay-off when making a winning debut for Harry Eustace over C&D and can take another step forward now to follow up off a 2 lb higher mark. Anglo Saxson also arrives on the back of a recent C&D success and is feared most, although in-form pair Swing To The Stars and Revolutionary Man can both have a say too in a very open handicap.

Most are in good form but low-mileage 4yo SWING TO THE STARS is seemingly the one with most potential and she gets the vote.

LTO Selection:

14:20 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DIAMONDONTHEHILL looks to have improved with each start this season and conditions may well be ideal for him to strike for the first time since Redcar last August. He gets the vote ahead of the likes of Newmarket runner-up Fantasy Believer, and Antiphon, who has the potential to improve for this marked step up in trip. Lion's Dream is another to consider on his turf debut.

FANTASY BELIEVER was a two-time scorer in 2022 and signalled he is ready to go in again when an excellent second at Newmarket last time out so gets the vote. Goddess Of Fire didn't enjoy the rub of the green when only seventh over C&D and this three-time C&D scorer can bounce back. In-form pair One For The Frog and Diamondonthehill both need factoring in too.

Antiphon is interesting on this step up in trip but FANTASY BELIEVER looked ready to strike when second at Newmarket last month.

LTO Selection:

14:50 Yarmouth Maiden (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A chance is taken on the well-bred newcomer FULL REGALIA, who is a half-sister to first-time-out winner Audience and hails from a stable which has unleashed a few smart ones at this track in the past. Crowning ran an encouraging race on her debut at Newmarket last October and she is open to improvement, as well as Heavenly Wish and Little Hug, who wasn't beaten far over C&D last month.

CROWNING showed plenty of ability on her Newmarket debut last backend and gets the vote with improvement likely. The main threat may come from newcomers, with Gosden stable pair Berthe Morisot and Full Regalia obvious types, while Nannie Dee and Hard Act To Follow also have something to recommend them on paper.

Perhaps the answer will be LITTLE HUG, who made a very encouraging seasonal debut over C&D six weeks ago.

Placed in competitive Class 3 at York last month; major player off same mark here.
LTO Selection:

15:25 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Terrimia takes a significant drop in class for her seasonal/handicap debut and is respected despite the 306-day absence. Connections opt to try her in a hood and strong support in the betting will be difficult to ignore. However, Redcar winner SPARKLING RED has proven match-fitness and looks likely to make another bold bid with Oisin Murphy now in the saddle. Newbury scorer Champagne Sarah is risky under a penalty, so The Thames Boatman looks the one for third.

CHAMPAGNE SARAH upped her game to score with something in hand at Newbury recently and she boasts leading claims under a penalty. Fellow last-time-out winner Sparkling Red looks the main danger, although The Thames Boatman arrives on the back of an encouraging performance.

Placed off today's mark in a competitive, 18-runner race at York last month, THE THAMES BOATMAN is the suggestion.

LTO Selection:

16:00 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The penalised Gilbert (winner) posted his best effort for a while when he fended off GEARING'S POINT (third) by two necks in a driving finish at Windsor nine days ago, but the revised terms give the latter a solid chance of reversing the form. The selection has done well on all three starts since joining Sheena West and, with her stamina now proven, a second career success is a very feasible outcome. Persian Wolf and Lailah look the pick of the remainder.

Having made a winning seasonal/stable debut, GEARING'S POINT has run well on both starts since and was probably unlucky not to win when third at Windsor last time, denied a run on more than one occasion. She can reverse the form with Gilbert from when the pair met 9 days ago, with Persian Wolf the pick of the remainder.

Gilbert won at Windsor nine days ago but GEARING'S POINT (nap) was only two necks away in third, having been denied a clear run.

16:30 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

REBECCA WEST ran her best race to date when third in a Brighton maiden last month and the filly may have been let in lightly on her handicap debut. Seraphia offered more to work with after finishing third in a first-time visor at Leicester last month and she shouldn't be far away. Don't What Me Boy may find improvement now faced with a stiffer test and shouldn't be underestimated.

TIME IN MOTION is very interesting upped in trip for her handicap debut. Seraphia ran well with the visor fitted at Leicester and looks poised for another big effort.

Rebecca West has potential but preference is for SERAPHIA, who posted a sound effort when placed in a visor at Leicester.

On a dangerous mark and O Murphy replaces a 7lb claimer; should go well.

17:00 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Lilkian switches to the turf off a 10lb lower mark, nevertheless, Darryll Holland's six-year-old has yet to place in five attempts in this sphere and may prove worth taking on. PORFIN is now 6lb below his third-placed finish at Brighton in April and he could be worth chancing, with Oisin Murphy an eye-catching jockey booking. Andromedas Kingdom is a viable alternative if breaking better as she didn't run too badly on her reappearance at Thirsk.

PORFIN ran respectably at Lingfield last time and has Oisin Murphy taking over from an inexperienced rider, so he's worth chancing in a thin race. Tomshalfbrother is one to be interested in and Lilkian shouldn't be dismissed from his lower turf mark.

Several possibles but LILKIAN hasn't had many chances on fast turf and may be able to exploit his lower mark in this sphere.
