Beat Box has notched three victories in quick succession since joining the Dan Skelton yard and he must be respected once more under a 7lb penalty for a recent Newton Abbot romp. That said, HIDALGO DE L'ISLE edges preference. The son of Coastal Path fairly bolted up on his chasing debut over this trip last month, and the suspicion is that a 5lb rise may not be enough to anchor him. Second behind the selection on that occasion, Silent Revolution is also noteworthy, though it is difficult to see him reversing that form.
BEAT BOX has really turned a corner since joining Dan Skelton and can extend his winning run. Isabella Bee may provide the chief threat.
This is more competitive than the three-runner race he won easily last week, but BEAT BOX is very much on a roll and gets the nod.

ISSUING AUTHORITY (sixth) finished ahead of Frere d'Armes (eighth) when the pair met in a warm handicap chase over 2m at Uttoxeter in June, though the former-mentioned shaped better than the bare result suggests on that occasion, making eye-catching late headway from well off the pace. Now stepping back up in trip eased 2lb, Nicky Henderson's charge gets the vote to confirm his superiority over that rival en route to victory this time around. Bagheera Ginge found only one rival too good over 2m5f at Newton Abbot last month, and he commands respect off 3lb higher.
ISSUING AUTHORITY isn't the easiest to assess over fences but he caught the eye on his second start back at Uttoxeter in June so he could be the answer. This does look competitive, though, with Watergrange Jack heading the dangers off a tempting mark.
There is a bigger performance in ISSUING AUTHORITY (nap) who has not enjoyed favourable tactical scenarios in his last two races.

In what looks a trappy affair, it may pay to take a leap of faith with the unraced SNITTERFIELD. Olly Muprhy has his string in fine form at present, and this gelded son of Diamond Boy, who is also a half-brother to the stable's smart hurdler Butch, can land the spoils at the first time of asking. Presenting Milan bumped into an in-form rival when finishing a gallant second on his debut in a Stratford bumper recently, and he must be of interest in a bid to go one place better. Third on his debut over an extended 2m at Bangor, Romeo Foxtrot is respected most out of the remainder.
Olly Murphy has a 20% success rate in bumpers in the last 5 seasons so the suggestion is his newcomer SNITTERFIELD, with confidence in his chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Presenting Milan has to be respected after his Stratford second, while Fergal O'Brien's Brave Move was prominent in the betting when down the field on his debut last November and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him leave that run well behind.
Newcomer SNITTERFIELD is a half-brother to useful hurdler Butch and is taken to enhance Olly Murphy's very good record in bumpers.

Having found only unbeaten hurdler Feud too strong on his hurdles bow at Listowel in June, HANDLETHEKETTLE is likely to prove a warm order on his stable debut for Jamie Snowden. A similar performance is likely to prove good enough in these calmer waters and a first career victory looks imminent for the son of Youmzain. Although 3m point winner Manowest failed to build on his promising second over C&D in July when only fifth at the same venue earlier this month, he's still feared most, ahead of Soldier's Leap.
HANDLETHEKETTLE made a promising start for Paul Cashman when runner-up at Listowel and is fancied to go one better now starting out with Jamie Snowden. Olly Murphy's Manowest could emerge as the main danger, with hurdling newcomer Ballytechno not discounted either on his first start for James Owen.
Jamie Snowden's new recruit HANDLETHEKETTLE was second to a useful rival in a big field on his hurdling debut and is the one to beat.

TRUST HOUSE was heading in the right direction when capping off his three-year-old campaign on the Flat with a breakthrough victory at Ripon. Returning from a 352-day layoff, the four-year-old makes his hurdles/stable bow for the Olly Murphy team and he could take all the beating if taking to this discipline. Light Dragoon sets the standard of those with hurdling experience and a reproduction of his C&D third in July is likely to see him in the mix, along with Definite Dream.
TRUST HOUSE progressed nicely as a 3-y-o on the level for Ralph Beckett and having transferred to another successful stable ahead of this hurdles debut, he could well be the answer. Disco Davis is sure to know his job switching from bumpers and is a threat, with Light Dragoon the pick of those with experience over obstacles.
Flat winner Trust House might be dangerous but DISCO DAVIS is selected to deliver on the promise he showed in bumpers.

PRINCIPESSA drew clear of her nearest rival in the closing stages over 2m here on only her second start over timber. This extra distance should be within her compass on that evidence and John Butler's progressive filly may prove well treated on her handicap debut. Faha Belle finished second once again on her latest outing and will likely have a say in proceedings, while Quick Of The Night scored over 2m at the course in July and looks worth another try over this longer trip.
Several of these are appealing from an each-way perspective but JO'S RAINBOW and State of Honor stand out when it comes to potential winner material. The latter escapes a penalty for her recent Fontwell success and is the one to beat on that evidence. However, Jo's Rainbow caught the eye on her handicap debut at Stratford and, with this step up in trip likely to help unlock further improvement, she looks the way to go. Faha Belle and Night Fever can do battle for minor honours.

Cheekpieces were added to SEA THE CLOUDS' usual tongue-tie at Cartmel and he duly resumed winning ways. He's been raised 3lb, but drops in class for this and there could be more to come in the new headgear. Taste The Fear was still going well when falling five fences from home at Southwell and has a chance racing off the same mark reverting to the smaller obstacles, while Charles St and Planet Legend are others worthy of a second glance.
SCHOOL DAYS OVER shaped as though he's ready to strike when third over this C&D last time and, in the hope that he gets a strong pace to aim at, the 7-y-o could be the answer. Planet Legend will be a live danger if fully tuned-up following a break of almost four months, while Lihyan is third choice ahead of the selection's stablemate Charles St and Earth King.
Preference is for EARTH KING who has responded positively to the addition of cheekpieces this season and is still on a good mark.
