(10) Getthepot 14/1, Successful twice in handicap chases at Huntingdon in 2022 and best effort since when runner-up at Exeter (19.2f) last October. Well held all 3 starts this summer, however.

(6) Get With It 5/2, Dual chase scorer around 3m. Below par last season and sold from Rose Dobbin £6,000 in May. Gambled on but just respectable start for this yard when fourth at Uttoxeter, the combination of a longer trip and a 5-month absence possibly telling late on. Better expected.
Respectable 4th at Uttoxeter (favourite) on stable debut, shaping as if 3m2f stretched him.

14:10 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GINGER POINTE accounted for We Got Your Back (third) when victorious by over four lengths in this grade at Market Rasen last time and he may have more to offer on only his second start for the Danny Brooke yard. The seven-year-old is 8lb higher for that triumph and can record a double. The King Of May got his head back in front at Cartmel in July and could land a blow, while Dindin is another to keep an eye on.

GET WITH IT shaped well on the back of a stable switch (formerly with Rose Dobbin) when fourth at Uttoxeter on his return and better is expected now back down in trip. Ginger Pointe showed improved form when making a winning chase debut for his new yard at Market Rasen and should have more to offer, while We Got Your Back wasn't seen to best effect when third in the same race and is lurking on a dangerous mark.

Get With It made an encouraging first run for Dan Skelton but the selection is GINGER POINTE, who impressed with his recent win.

14:40 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A DEFINITE GETAWAY made a successful chase debut over track and trip in July and may take a step forward for that experience. Peter and Michael Bowen's six-year-old has possibly been let off lightly with a 5lb rise for that victory and he could be the one to beat. The main threat might be Police Academy, who took the silver medal home in this grade over C&D on her most recent outing and should go well off 1lb higher. Climbing isn't ruled out either after his second at Stratford.

None of these can be ruled out but CLIMBING showed the benefit of a wind op when a promising second at Stratford on his chasing bow and can build on it here to open his account at the chief expense of Police Academy, who also looks to have better days ahead of her. A Definite Getaway and Next Left both need factoring in too.

This may look a competitive race for the grade but CLIMBING (nap) makes strong appeal following his very promising chase/handicap debut.

15:10 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Happy Du Mesnil has been in great form as he has filled the top two places on each of his last three starts, so is one to take seriously. However, the vote goes to SWAPPED, who showed a lot more when fourth at Market Rasen on his latest outing and the handicapper may have been kind to drop him 1lb for that effort. Nick Kent's charge looks to have conditions in his favour and could get back to winning ways. Roll With It is the pick of the remainder.

This is wide open but HAPPY DU MESNIL is an improved model since switched to fences so can resume winning ways on the back of a good Bangor second. Nigel Twiston-Davies' Topofthecotswolds returns on a lenient mark so could emerge as the main threat, although a solid case can also be made for Almazhar Garde, Ali Star Bert and Roll With It.

This looks competitive but a chance is taken that TOPOFTHECOTSWOLDS can return from his break to make the most of a reduced mark.

15:40 Worcester NH Flat Race (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BLACKWATER LILLY has shown ability in her two starts to date and is fancied to get off the mark at the third attempt. Brian Ellison's charge defied long odds to finish second over 2m at Uttoxeter last time, in a race where the winner has franked the form by winning a maiden hurdle subsequently. Fiskardo is feared most after a pleasing racecourse debut and improvement appears likely, while Tres Bien completes the shortlist.

BLACKWATER LILLY has made an encouraging start in her 2 bumpers so far, improving from debut when second at Uttoxeter in July, so she looks to hold leading claims of opening her account this time around. The main danger could be Fiskardo, who can take a step forward from his first run, ahead of Lion City.

Preference is for BLACKWATER LILLY, who was second five weeks ago in what looked an above-average mares' race for the time of year.

16:10 Worcester Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having been narrowly beaten at Tramore on his latest outing, this looks like a good opportunity for BRILLIANT LIGHT to get off the mark over timber. The Irish raider was useful on the Flat and he should be difficult to beat in this company. R S Ambush has an official mark of 105 which sets a fair standard and he is likely to pose the most significant questions to the selection, while Barenboim also makes appeal.

BRILLIANT LIGHT's second at Tramore is the best piece of form on show and he might be able to open his hurdling account with a performance of similar merit. Manowest is an obvious danger and Don Virginia also looks open to improvement.

Having run with credit in some top handicaps in his Flat days for Godolphin, BRILLIANT LIGHT has a good opportunity to win over hurdles.

16:40 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 23f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Not beaten far in his attempt to land the double over C&D last month, INDIAN SUNBIRD sets the standard and a 3lb rise for that defeat looks manageable under similar conditions. A winner here on his penultimate start and a promising second over further at Uttoxeter last time out, Chemical Warfare is likely to be thereabouts for his in-form connections, while Shibuya Song is another open to improvement on the step up in trip.

ABSOLUTELY FINE is bred to be much better than he's shown to date and takes a significant step up in trip switched to handicaps, so he's worth a chance to improve. Indian Sunbird has been going well at this track and merits respect, while Chemical Warfare can't be ruled out.

Indian Sunbird and Shibuya Song are respected but CHEMICAL WARFARE returns to hurdles on a very attractive mark.

17:10 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

OUTBACK FRONTIERS looks the type to improve for going back up in trip, having stayed on well when scoring at Stratford and filling second at Newton Abbot on his most recent outings. A mark of 83 still looks feasible, and he is preferred to the Uttoxeter winner Winds Of Fire, and Irish raider Duchamps Art, who will need to improve on what she has shown on her first two starts for new connections. Others to note include Bergentown, Santa Clarita and Sefton Warrior.

BERGENTOWN is 2 lb below his winning mark and acquitted himself well in a similar contest here in June. He gets the nod in an open-looking contest. Winds of Fire and Santa Clarita head the list of dangers.

Dan Skelton's new recruit SANTA CLARITA has become very well handicapped on some of last year's hurdling form and gets the vote.
