LTO Selection:

13:20 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

DIAMONDSINTHESAND capitalised on a career-low mark when appearing to win with something in hand over C&D last month and the six-year-old is fancied to defy a 6lb rise in the ratings. The progressive Intoxicata should give another good account of herself and the three-year-old isn't taken lightly. Sir Titan has posted a string of creditable efforts in defeat in recent months and the veteran is unlikely to be far away either.

INTOXICATA has progressed well since being switched to handicaps and can add another win to her tally. Sir Titan is getting on, but he's been knocking on the door of late and can give another good account. Diamondsinthesand has proven consistent for his current yard and completes the shortlist.

The race needs to go his way but DIAMONDSINTHESAND impressed when winning his first C&D attempt and should have good claims again.

LTO Selection:

13:50 Wolverhampton Maiden (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

FIRST ENCORE finished a respectable third off a mark of 78 on his handicap bow at Kempton last month and he looks the one to beat on this switch to maiden company. Jackson Street offered a lot more to work with when posting a fifth-placed finish at Newcastle in last month. Karl Burke's colt may give the selection most to think about if finding any further improvement, while Allegorical has the most experience and looks next best.

FRIGHTENING was a bit of a let down at Kempton but her debut promise is still fresh in the memory and she's taken to bounce straight back. First Encore was much improved when a close third in a nursery last time and is second choice ahead of Karl Burke's Jackson Street.

The vote goes goes to FRIGHTENING, who just about sets the standard on her debut third at Nottingham and had a tough task last time.

LTO Selection:

14:20 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

DARLO PRIDE has hit new heights since being fitted with a visor, as evidenced by his recent victories at Chelmsford and Lingfield. A 6lb penalty for last week's success may not be enough to prevent the gelded son of Outstrip from completing a hat-trick. Suanni finished just under two lengths behind the selection on Wednesday and he is feared most racing off the same mark, shortly followed by the in-form Gustav Graves.

A few in with a squeak but DARLO PRIDE is thriving on racing at present so Anthony Carson's 3-y-o can make it 4 wins from his last 5 starts. Gustav Graves hasn't managed to get his head in front this year, but he went mightily close over C&D last time so is put forward as the main threat, with Nellie French and Suanni another couple fancied to be in the shake-up.

There is a query about the surface but DARLO PRIDE is flying high and he had something in reserve when winning on Wednesday.

LTO Selection:

14:50 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BLUE HAWAII has adapted well to racing on the Flat and is taken to add to last week's 1m6f success, despite having to carry a 4lb penalty. Placed twice over this trip at Newcastle in November, the drop back in distance isn't expected to cause too many issues for the selection and she is fancied to strike again while the iron is still hot. Duveen and Footsy are still relatively unexposed and both command respect, along with The Craftymaster if he handles the drop in trip.

The drop back in trip is a bit of a worry for THE CRAFTYMASTER but he has a much less-exposed profile than the rest of these and gets the nod to build on his promising stable debut second. Recent penalised course winner Blue Hawaii rates an obvious danger, while Typical Man has had excuses lately and is lurking on a dangerous mark.

In a low-grade event the in-form BLUE HAWAII is taken to follow up her win over 1m6f here last time by beating The Craftmaster.

LTO Selection:

15:20 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MR TRICK was just denied in a driving finish at Lingfield on Tuesday and, with the quick turnaround suggesting he is thriving on being kept busy, he looks worth siding with off the same mark here. Still unexposed over the trip, the selection has proven form on the all-weather and ticks too many boxes to ignore, despite carrying top-weight. Get Set Jet rates as the biggest danger and is a possible improver with a tongue-tie applied. Neptune Legend and Reformed Character complete the shortlist.

GET SET JET made a promising start for the Fergal O'Brien stable here earlier in the week and holds good claims with the return to a slightly longer trip in his favour. Mr Trick is feared most on the back of Tuesday's Lingfield near miss. Annalee Lass may prove best of the remainder.

This could be a good opportunity for GET SET JET to break his duck, after a good first effort for Fergal O'Brien.

LTO Selection:

15:50 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 8.5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

FINN RUSSELL is in the form of his life at present having won his last two starts, including one over this C&D, and he can bring up the hat-trick despite carrying a 6lb penalty for his latest success. Eagle Day arrives on the back of a comfortable victory over this track and trip last month and a 5lb rise may not prevent another bold bid today. Others to note include Flatley, Goldsmith and Measured Moments.

Quite a well-contested race for the grade but EAGLE DAY does still stand out as his latest C&D win appeals as good form. Fellow 3-y-o Finn Russell may give him most to do ahead of the reliable Prince Ali.

A hot race for the grade. EAGLE DAY is a 3yo on the up and earns the vote ahead of the rejuvenated Finn Russell.

LTO Selection:

16:20 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

An eye-catcher when not getting a clear run and running on late for third on his first start for new connections at Lingfield last month, BEN DIKDUK must hold every chance of breaking the maiden at the 11th time of asking. The son of New Approach is preferred to the consistent Katar and Aclaim To Fame, who has switched yards again since a strong placed effort at Newcastle in October.

Not a deep contest even for the lowly level, with WEE FAT MAC fancied to build on an eye-catching return to all-weather when a fast-finishing fourth here last month. Ben Dikduk and Aclaim To Fame are also leading players despite high draws, whilst long-standing maiden Katar has been largely running well in defeat of late and is another that shouldn't be dismissed.

Having been a close third in a warm race at Lingfield last month, the 3yo BEN DIKDUK (nap) is taken to get off the mark.

LTO Selection:

16:50 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SHABAABY bounced back to form with a solid success over C&D last time out and a 4lb rise may be not be enough to stop him going again, having run off much higher marks in the past. Port Noir returns from a break having won at Chepstow when last seen in June, while Churchill Bay has finished a neck second over this C&D on his last two starts and must be considered. Astrophysics and Revolucion are also entitled to be thereabouts.

WATER OF LEITH didn't enjoy the rub of the green when fourth at Newcastle last time and now figures on a lenient mark so this C&D scorer gets the vote. Shabaaby is feared most on the back of his own recent C&D success, although a solid case can also be made for Astrophysics, My Boy Jack and Churchill Bay in a very open contest.

An open race in which the vote goes to WATER OF LEITH, who is on a dangerous mark and didn't get any luck at Newcastle last time.
