1st (6) (4/1 +56%) Telepathic |
4/1(+56%) | (6) Telepathic 4/1, Well-related sort who has looked a work-in-progress in trio of maiden/novice events to date, still green when seventh of 13 on qualifying run in novice at Kempton (7f) 35 days ago. In very good hands and rates a likely improver now handicapping but draw could have been kinder. Modest so far but this well-bred colt should find this company easier on nursery debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (9) (7/1 -56%) Khutulun |
7/1(-56%) | (9) Khutulun 7/1, Mohaather filly. 7/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, career best when winning 12-runner nursery at Chelmsford (7f) 27 days ago, closed down late but always holding on. Further progress rates distinctly possible now she's up and running. Back from a break in new cheekpieces when just holding on from the front at Chelmsford. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (25/1 -25%) Thiscouldbefun |
25/1(-25%) | (3) Thiscouldbefun 25/1, Stepped forward on previous exploits when third on nursery debut at Newbury (7f) in August. However, not in anything like the same form when sixth of 9 in nursery at Lingfield (8f, AW) 44 days ago. Was coming along okay until last time when tried at 1m; placed off this mark at Newbury. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (12) (10/1 -11%) Manton Road |
10/1(-11%) | (12) Manton Road 10/1, Encouragingly looked more straightforward with eyeshields fitted when second of 11 in nursery (40/1) at Kempton (6f) 11 days ago, coming from much further back than the pair he split. Task is to build on that effort back at 7f. The eyeshield made a difference when beating all bar the favourite in a 6f Kempton nursery. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (12/1 -20%) Lilly's Bet |
12/1(-20%) | (4) Lilly's Bet 12/1, Fair filly who ran up to best when fourth in a Lingfield maiden (7f, AW) last month. Struggled in big field sales race at Newbury since but return to nurseries/all-weather both likely positives and she's an each-way player. Had shown consistent level of form in defeat over 6f/7f before outclassed in a sales race. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (4/1 +20%) Antelope |
4/1(+20%) | (2) Antelope 4/1, Lightly-raced maiden who showed much improved form when second of 9 in nursery (13/2) at this course (8.6f) 20 days ago, seeing things out well. One to be interested in on the back of that. Hadn't shown a lot but put that right when going close over 8.6f on nursery debut here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (10) (50/1 -213%) D Day Harley R |
50/1(-213%) | (10) D Day Harley R 50/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 13/2 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, eighth of 9 in nursery at Kempton (8f) 9 days ago. Makes tapeta debut. Others more persuasive. Third on nursery debut but wasn't so clever in the cheekpieces at Kempton. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (11) (16/1 -33%) Mystified |
16/1(-33%) | (11) Mystified 16/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Fifth of 7 in nursery at Yarmouth (7f, soft) 10 days ago, weakened last ½f. Return to tapeta needs to have a positive effect now. Second on her nursery debut over C&D and had to deal with soft ground at Yarmouth since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (7) (10/1 +9%) Arizona Beauty |
10/1(+9%) | (7) Arizona Beauty 10/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 7/2 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, below form eighth of 14 in nursery at Naas (5f, good to firm) 36 days ago. Makes tapeta debut. First run for yard after leaving K. J. Condon. Could be interesting on stable debut as the ability was there in Ireland. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (5) (28/1 -180%) Calibos |
28/1(-180%) | (5) Calibos 28/1, Thrice-raced maiden. Fifth of 11 in novice at Redcar (7f, good to soft, 28/1) 20 days ago, no extra final 1f. Improvement required making handicap debut. Has shown enough in novice races to believe he can be more competitive in nurseries. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|DQ| (8) (13/2 +0%) Empowered Queen |
13/2(+0%) | (8) Empowered Queen 13/2, Mehmas filly who surpassed form displayed in novice company when good fourth of 12 in nursery at Newcastle (6f, 11/4) 24 days ago, nearest finish. Step up to 7f promises to suit on that evidence and her pedigree offers hope for better still. Staying-on fourth on nursery debut over 6f and was backed that day; up to 7f here. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Khutulun has to be of interest having got off the mark over this trip at Chelmsford on her nursery debut last month. However, marginal preference is for ANTELOPE, who was narrowly denied in a similar event over the extended 1m here recently and the son of Lope De Vega may have more to offer. Others to note are Manton Road, Empowered Queen and Calibos.
ANTELOPE fared much better than previously when chasing home a next-time-out winner on nursery debut here (8.6f) 3 weeks ago and, with the drop back in trip not expected to pose a problem, he's of interest from a handy draw. Chelmsford-scorer Khutulun and Empowered Queen having her first crack at 7f are others to consider. Telepathic on nursery debut is another to note with progress anticipated.
This looks open but EMPOWERED QUEEN wasn't far away from justifying market support at Newcastle and this extra yardage can suit.

1st (4) (5/6 +100%) Spirit Lead Me |
5/6(+100%) | (4) Spirit Lead Me 5/6, Well found in the market and proved a different proposition when winning 8-runner nursery (11/10) at Kempton (8f) 9 days ago, forging clear. Big shout under a penalty on that evidence from a handy draw. Clearcut winner over Kempton's 1m and he's 11lb well-in even with the penalty. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (6/1 +63%) Crest Of Esteem |
6/1(+63%) | (2) Crest Of Esteem 6/1, Thrice-raced maiden. Seventh of 11 in novice (33/1) at Chelmsford (6f) in August. Longer trip could help now tackling nurseries after a 71-day break/gelded and the market may prove a useful guide. Nearer last than first in his 6f novices; gelded ahead of this nursery debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (20/1 -67%) Yehudi |
20/1(-67%) | (7) Yehudi 20/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Tongue strap on for 1st time, seventh of 9 in nursery at this C&D (3/1) 32 days ago, racing closer to pace than ideal. Remains with a bigger effort in his locker. Only 3-1 when seventh on nursery debut here and could be capable of better than that. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (7/1 +7%) Gold Black |
7/1(+7%) | (5) Gold Black 7/1, Career best when winning 12-runner nursery at Newcastle (7.1f, 15/2) 10 days ago, leading dying strides. Possibilities under a penalty if arriving in same form. Got going in the nick of time to outstay the favourite over 7f at Newcastle; penalised. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (5/1 +75%) Glitter Code |
5/1(+75%) | (3) Glitter Code 5/1, 12/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, sixth of 7 in nursery at Yarmouth (8f, good) 18 days ago. Visor on 1st time. More required on tapeta debut. Has offered no more since sent into nurseries and had three attempts now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) (40/1 -60%) Cuban Star |
40/1(-60%) | (9) Cuban Star 40/1, Thrice-raced maiden. Eleventh of 16 in maiden (14/1) at Chepstow (7.1f, good) 60 days ago, racing off the pace and never a threat. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Makes handicap debut but widest draw of all not ideal. Makes handicap debut after two months away and drawn wide. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (11) (20/1 -67%) Puglia |
20/1(-67%) | (11) Puglia 20/1, Going the right way at a low level, best effort yet when winning 4-runner nursery at Windsor (6f, good to firm, 2/1) 67 days ago. Remains early days with her and her very promising pilot's claim off-sets her rise in the weights. This understandably tougher, however. Untried beyond 6f but beat a subsequent winner at Windsor in August. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (1) (16/1 -100%) Georginio |
16/1(-100%) | (1) Georginio 16/1, Sergei Prokofiev gelding who improved when finishing good third of 9 in a C&D nursery 32 days ago, off bridle before most but closing all the way to the line. Cheekpieces could help in that regard now and he may yet have more to offer. Didn't travel that well but stuck to it and went close on nursery debut over C&D. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (10) (66/1 -100%) Rinky Tinky Tinky |
66/1(-100%) | (10) Rinky Tinky Tinky 66/1, Modest form on third of her 3 starts in 6f maiden/novice contests this summer and whilst she faced a stiff task in valuable sales' race at Newmarket latest, her opening mark still demands progress now handicapping. Tough task in a sales race last time; likely improver now upped to 7f for nursery debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
SPIRIT LEAD ME appeared to have plenty in hand when scoring over a mile at Kempton last week and the son of Calyx is very hard to oppose under a 6lb penalty, which still leaves him 11lb well-in. Gold Black and River Blackwater are other recent winners who make the shortlist, while Piranha Rama and Puglia have to be taken into consideration as well.
SPIRIT LEAD ME justified strong support when making a winning nursery debut at Kempton (1m) 9 days ago, his strength at the finish particularly taking. He ought to take some stopping under a penalty. Fellow last-time-out winners, Gold Black and River Blackwater are others to consider, whilst Yehudi likely has a bigger effort in his locker also.
He's dropped back from 1m but SPIRIT LEAD ME is 11lb well-in even with a penalty after winning by daylight at Kempton.

1st (4) (7/2 +56%) Sky Safari |
7/2(+56%) | (4) Sky Safari 7/2, Bred for longer trips so highly positive she could make a winning start over this trip in 13-runner Yarmouth maiden back in June. Asked a big question when twelfth of 13 in listed company at Ascot (7f) 3 weeks ago and this rates more suitable making handicap debut. Debut winner; player if repeating that effort now switched to AW for handicap debut.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (8) (13/2 +0%) Noisy Music |
13/2(+0%) | (8) Noisy Music 13/2, Off the mark on yard/handicap debut at Windsor (6f) in June. Largely consistent subsequently on turf and posted career best when winning 9-runner handicap (5/2) at this C&D 34 days ago, overcoming a positional bias. In the mix again nudged up 2 lb. Up 2lb and in a better race, so it remains to be seen whether she can back up her C&D win.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (18/1 -112%) Apeeling |
18/1(-112%) | (3) Apeeling 18/1, Winner at Windsor (6f) in June. 20/1, fifth of 7 in handicap at Yarmouth (6f, good to firm) 38 days ago. Still, she's unexposed at this trip and her previous Kempton fourth over 6f highlighted her present mark is a workable one. 6f turf winner who has been inconsistent since; now steps up in trip.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (7) (22/1 -193%) La Fleur Petrus |
22/1(-193%) | (7) La Fleur Petrus 22/1, Crucially settled much better in first-time hood when opening her account in 11-runner maiden at Southwell (7.1f) back in February. Absent subsequently but she's bred to be useful and there could be more to come now handicapping. Came good in a fillies' maiden in February; not obviously well treated but could improve.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (4/7 +48%) Unassuming |
4/7(+48%) | (1) Unassuming 4/7, Much improved when successful on yard/handicap debut at Southwell (1m) in September and followed up in good style at that venue 3 days later. 7 lb higher in pursuit of the hat-trick but very much of interest again. Down in trip. Back-to-back wins at Southwell (1m, Tapeta) for this trainer; remains well treated up 7lb.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (14/1 -75%) Incrimination |
14/1(-75%) | (2) Incrimination 14/1, Dual 6f winner who was holding her form well on all-weather earlier this year. Shaped as if needing the run after 5 months off when sixth of 7 in handicap at Kempton (6f, 8/1) 51 days ago and likely she'll be much closer to form here. Could come on for her reappearance at Kempton (6f, Polytrack) last month but more needed.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (66/1 -200%) Heart Of The City |
66/1(-200%) | (6) Heart Of The City 66/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 16/1 and tongue strap on for 1st time, ninth of 10 in handicap at Southwell (6.1f) 17 days ago, weakening 1f out. Blinkers on 1st time. Yard look to hold much stronger claims with Unassuming. Second on debut but well below that level since; blinkers now accompany tongue-tie.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (80/1 -21%) Beautiful Dawn |
80/1(-21%) | (5) Beautiful Dawn 80/1, Won 2 of her 3 starts at Dundalk for Joseph O'Brien last winter but not beaten a rival in 2 runs for new stable this autumn. Can only be watched until displaying more positive signs. 7f/1m AW winner; well beaten at big odds on both starts for this trainer; plenty to prove.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
SKY SAFARI struggled in Listed company at Ascot a few weeks ago, but her debut victory at Yarmouth in June suggests that she could go well here off a mark of 73. The hat-trick seeking Unassuming has to defy a career-high mark but is an obvious threat to the selection, while La Fleur Petrus and Noisy Music are others with valid form claims.
UNASSUMING looked one to keep firmly onside when landing back-to-back Southwell handicaps last month and George Boughey's filly makes plenty of appeal in her hat-trick bid. Recent C&D winner Noisy Music, Apeeling and Incrimination head up the dangers.
After successive wins over Southwell's 1m trip, UNASSUMING still looks well treated despite a 7lb rise.

1st (5) (66/1 -32%) Eazy On The Eye |
66/1(-32%) | (5) Eazy On The Eye 66/1, Offered little in pair of maiden/novice events on turf in recent months. Passed over upped in trip. Moderate form in two starts, beating a total of one rival. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (11/8 +61%) Saliko |
11/8(+61%) | (7) Saliko 11/8, Kameko filly who has shaped well both starts to date, not seen to best effect when sixth of 10 in maiden at Bath (8f, good, 17/2) 41 days ago, not clear run final 1f and finishing with running left. Remains with potential. Unlucky at Bath (1m, good) latest; no surprise to see her seriously involved.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (8) (3/1 -20%) Tralee Girl |
3/1(-20%) | (8) Tralee Girl 3/1, Camelot filly who showed plenty of ability amidst greenness when second of 9 in maiden at this C&D on debut 28 days ago, outpaced over 2f out and keeping on. Looks sure to improve, particularly when tackling longer trips. Second to an improver on debut; a serious player with that experience under her belt.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (33/1 -136%) Princess Qajar |
33/1(-136%) | (6) Princess Qajar 33/1, Foaled March 3. 12,000 gns yearling, Persian King filly. Half-sister to several winners, including 1m winner Desert Haze and winner up to 8.6f Quick Change. Dam, French 9f winner, half-sister to very smart winner up to 1m Occupandiste. Half-sister to four winners, including two AW 2yos; interesting newcomer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (18/1 -50%) Trusted Advisor |
18/1(-50%) | (4) Trusted Advisor 18/1, Foaled February 17. Ulysses filly. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 6f winner Red Box out of smart winner up to 10.5f (2-y-o 7f/7.5f winner) Confidential Lady. Worth noting if the market spoke in her favour on debut. Dam unraced half-sister to two winners over 1m-1m2f; check market on debut.. |

6th (2) (80/1 -142%) Doumo |
80/1(-142%) | (2) Doumo 80/1, Foaled April 7. €1,000 yearling, Sands of Mali filly. Half-sister to 2 winners, including 2-y-o 5f winner Reversion. Dam ran once out of useful winner up to 6f (2-y-o 5f winner) Danehill Destiny. Half-sister to two 2yo winners but likely best watched on debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (1) (50/1 -127%) About Last Night |
50/1(-127%) | (1) About Last Night 50/1, €25,000 yearling, Wooded filly. Could hardly have shown any less when last of 11 in maiden (33/1) at Salisbury (7f, good to firm) on debut 71 days ago, very slowly away. Up in trip. Hooded for 1st time. 33-1 when slowly away and last of 11 on debut at Salisbury (7f, good to firm) in August.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) (8/1 -140%) Wondrous Light |
8/1(-140%) | (9) Wondrous Light 8/1, Promising individual. Second of 10 in maiden (28/1) at Leicester (8.2f, heavy) on debut 17 days ago, no match for winner. Open to improvement. Just over 2l second (1m, heavy) on debut; could be involved if building on that on Tapeta.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (3) (10/3 +39%) Neoma |
10/3(+39%) | (3) Neoma 10/3, Fair form when runner-up on first 2 starts in August and clearly not 100% when fifth of 6 in novice at Chelmsford City (8f) 22 days ago, weakening and eased. Not one to write off. Has shown ability but raced too freely latest; a player if settling better. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
TRALEE GIRL was relatively well found in the market when filling the runner-up spot over C&D on her debut. This isn't the strongest of contests, so natural improvement could see Michael Bell's filly go in at the second time of asking. Saliko, third on her racecourse bow before finding trouble at Bath next time, holds strong claims from a low draw, while Wondrous Light appeals most of the remainder.
TRALEE GIRL showed plenty of ability amidst greenness when runner-up in a C&D maiden 4 weeks ago and she gets the narrow vote to build on that now. Saliko and Wondrous Light are others open to improvement, with Neoma fancied to put a below-par effort at Chelmsford 22 days ago behind her.
A few with potential but if NEOMA can get some cover to help her settle she could build on the promise of her first two starts.

2nd (2) (6/1 +50%) Island Bandit |
6/1(+50%) | (2) Island Bandit 6/1, Twelfth of 14 in handicap at Kempton (8f, 22/1) 23 days ago. Blinkers back on. Needs to bounce back with the headgear refitted. Drops 3lb and in grade after being beaten at Kempton; may be able to get more competitive.. |

3rd (7) (15/2 +53%) Kracking |
15/2(+53%) | (7) Kracking 15/2, Latest win at Lingfield in August. Tenth of 11 in handicap at Newmarket (7f, good, 28/1) 34 days ago, going off too hard. Up in trip. Well beaten in better company on turf latest but not ruled out back down in grade on AW.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (15/2 -36%) Commander Of Life |
15/2(-36%) | (6) Commander Of Life 15/2, 11/2, first run since leaving Marco Botti when good second of 9 in handicap at Newcastle (8f) 10 days ago, no match for winner. Not taken lightly. Beat all bar the favourite latest; a reproduction of that effort would see him involved.. |

5th (12) (5/2 +67%) Between Me And U |
5/2(+67%) | (12) Between Me And U 5/2, C&D winner. Latest win here in September. Good fourth of 12 in handicap (14/1) at this C&D 25 days ago. Merits consideration. C&D winner who arrives in good form and should again be a contender.. |

6th (3) (10/3 +5%) State Flag |
10/3(+5%) | (3) State Flag 10/3, 2 wins from 6 runs this year. Latest win at Newbury in July. 10/1, creditable third of 14 in handicap at Kempton (7f) 23 days ago. Up in trip. Makes tapeta debut. Expected to be bang there. In good form; dam won over 1m2f; could benefit from this step up in trip; interesting.. |

7th (8) (5/1 -50%) Wide Margin |
5/1(-50%) | (8) Wide Margin 5/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Very good fourth of 9 in maiden (13/2) at Southwell (7.1f) 15 days ago. Likely to do better still switched to handicaps/upped in trip. Initial mark stiff but longer trip may help him find improvement now entering handicaps.. |

66/1(-100%) | (11) Triggered 66/1, Course winner. 33/1, eighth of 9 in handicap at this course (7.2f) 28 days ago. Back up in trip. Dropped to a handy mark but not threatening to capitalise. Has been given a chance by the handicapper but there wasn't much sign of a revival latest.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Twice a winner over 7f, the step up in trip looks certain to unlock further progress within STATE FLAG, who grabbed third close home at Kempton earlier this month. Tom Ward's filly still appears to be on a workable mark and she could take advantage against some out-of-form rivals. That said, Commander Of Life finished second to a handicap blot at Newcastle last week and must enter calculations from an unchanged rating. Wide Margin is another to consider.
WIDE MARGIN returned from an absence with a more encouraging performance last time and this longer trip is likely to bring more out of him, so he's fancied to make a winning handicap debut for shrewd connections. State Flag is an obvious player having her first go on tapeta, while Commander of Life is unlikely to be far away.
The vote goes to STATE FLAG who stays 7f well and whose pedigree suggests this step up in trip may prove beneficial.

3/1(+73%) | (2) Percy Jones 3/1, Course winner. Eleventh of 13 in handicap at Chester (14.4f, soft, 15/2) 34 days ago. Type to bounce back quickly, so dangerous to dismiss. Both wins at this track, the latest over 1m6f last August; on career-low mark now. |

7th (4) (6/1 +14%) Pons Aelius |
6/1(+14%) | (4) Pons Aelius 6/1, Course winner. Latest win at Beverley in August. 7/1, creditable second of 7 in handicap at Musselburgh (16f, good to soft) 11 days ago. Respected. Generally running respectably since successful at Beverley in August but looks vulnerable. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Back on the Flat last time out following a brief spell over hurdles, ADDOSH was able to record a comfortable C&D triumph. James Owen's mare must carry a 5lb penalty today but that may not be enough to stop her if she arrives in a similar vein of form. Pons Aelius was touched off by a progressive rival at Musselburgh recently and he looks the main threat. Moel Arthur, a largely consistent type on the all-weather, could also go well off top-weight.
ADDOSH is unexposed for this stable and she cruised into it before readily putting the race to bed over C&D last time, so she's a confident choice to follow up. Love Safari is a danger with this belated step up in trip likely to suit, while Green Team should give his running again.
There looked to be more left in the tank when ADDOSH won over C&D last week and she is taken to defy a penalty.

SCARBOROUGHWARNING dug deep when opening her account in a novice event at Catterick last month and another bold bid is forecast reverting to handicap company. The daughter of Harry Angel will have no issue returning to Tapeta and she is preferred to Bint Havana Gold, who won on her only previous start over this C&D. You can throw Four Adaay into the mix as well.
SCARBOROUGHWARNING opened her account comfortably in a novice at Catterick 45 days ago and she has few miles on the clock, so she may can get the better of Bint Havana Gold and Moe's Legacy, who have been holding their form well.
An open-looking renewal but preference is for BINT HAVANA GOLD who is back below her winning mark over C&D in March.

14/1(-27%) | (7) Sexy Rexy 14/1, C&D winner. 17/2, creditable third of 9 in handicap at this C&D 20 days ago. Has slipped to a handy mark and could be involved. C&D winner; minor honours on her last three visits here (all 1m4f) so she's in the mix. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Having found only a last-time-out winner too strong over C&D in August, compensation could be heading in DILLYDINGDILLYDONG's direction. A 2lb higher mark looks more than fair for James Owen's gelding and a third career victory may be on the cards. The biggest threat may emerge from Sassy Glory, who arrives on the back of two creditable runs in defeat at this venue and Thirsk. Kojin and Keen Interest are also noted on their recent form.
DILLYDINGDILLYDONG has generally been on the up for his current stable and travelled like he's still ahead of his mark when second over C&D last time, so he's the one to be with back from a break. Sassy Glory and Keen Interest look the most serious threats.
This looks open but it might provide the right opportunity for KEEN INTEREST to improve his strike-rate.

22/1(-57%) | (11) Bay Of Australia 22/1, Sixth of 9 in handicap at this course (12.2f, 9/1) 20 days ago. Back down in trip. Tongue strap back on. Others preferred. Looked a non-stayer over 1m4f here but his second over C&D last month gives him a chance.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
The progressive Newfangled must enter calculations after proving triumphant at Lingfield and this venue last month. A hat-trick would come as no surprise from the three-year-old, but it could be worth taking a punt on stable debutant KHANGAI. The James Owen-trained charge arrives here on a career-low mark and he looks potentially well treated on the pick of his form. Dual C&D winner Crafter is also of interest on his return to action.
KHANGAI has dropped to a winning mark and is worth a chance to make a winning start for his new stable. Harbour Vision (engaged here Friday) and Newfangled fought out the finish here last time and are likely to be involved again.
There are several here with a chance but in-form 3yo NEWFANGLED (nap) is the most progressive. Bay Of Australia is the main danger.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
