16:35 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

HARBOUR VISION looked the most likely winner for a long way before being worn down in the shadows of the post over C&D last weekend and, off an unchanged mark, it will be no surprise if he is able to atone for that near-miss. Cerulean Summer did it well when scoring over an extended 1m1f here recently and she merits a second look, for all that more will be required under her 6lb penalty. Cobh Harbour looks the pick of the remainder.

CERULEAN SUMMER has a tendency to put herself on the back foot out of the stalls, but she overcame it with an impressive display to open her account here 10 days and she's fancied to defy a penalty with the scope for better still. Harbour Vision is in form and boasts an excellent track record, so he's regarded the main threat ahead of Alexander James. Come On John is interesting starting out for James Owen.

The suggestion is HARBOUR VISION, who has a handy draw and showed last week that another course success may not be long in coming.

17:10 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

HI HOH TONTO caught the eye when staying on strongly to finish second over this trip at Southwell and, nudged up just 1lb, he looks the one to side with in his bid to go one place better. Habitual prominent racer My Genghis fairly bolted up at Brighton last week and must be respected under a penalty, even though his draw won't make life easy. A C&D winner on her penultimate start, Colors Of Freedom can also make her presence felt.

MY GENGHIS has hit top form all of a sudden and looks an obvious choice to land the hat-trick in a race where the bulk of his rivals have something to prove. Suanni looks a danger and Hi Hoh Tonto is capable of getting involved if he's able to put two good efforts together back to back.

Tony Carroll saddles two here and his MY GENGHIS is very much the in-form runner in the field. He is taken to complete a hat-trick.

17:45 Wolverhampton Stakes (Class 5) 9.5f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Hillbridge finished third behind two potentially useful types at Chester and the daughter of Frankel should remain competitive in a race of this nature. MAGIC DREAM made a promising debut when touched off at Newbury in April before disappointing when favourite at Newmarket a couple of weeks later. That wasn't her true running and, with her sights lowered on her return, she gets the nod to stamp her class on this contest. Izipizi is also noteworthy.

MAGIC DREAM shaped with a good deal of promise in a better race than this at Newbury on debut and, despite a tame effort at Newmarket next time, she's worth another chance to improve after 174 days off. Morrophore fits a similar mould in that she's trying to build on an encouraging start at the second attempt, while Izipizi is likely to be on the premises.

It may be worth taking a chance with PREVAIL. The form of her latest Kempton fifth is working out well and the longer trip may suit.

18:15 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MUSCIKA is not the force of old, but plenty of encouragement can be taken from his most recent efforts. A drop in grade should help the veteran and he just edges out Musical Touch to be the pick. Richard Fahey's gelding remains unexposed and should not be underestimated, while Crimson Angel and Honour Your Dreams are others who are capable of going well.

The vote goes to the veteran of the party, MUSCIKA, who wasn't at his best last time but his efforts in 6f handicaps at York and Epsom prior to that would give him every chance in this company. Crimson Angel and Aces Wild rate the main dangers, while Phoenix Beach also has claims and Newyorkstateofmind is a live each-way candidate.

The vote goes to the veteran MUSCIKA who rarely runs a bad race around here and who has dropped to a tempting mark.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GIFTED ANGEL arrives here on the back of two wins in recent weeks and a 3lb rise for the latest of those victories may not be enough to stop him from making it a hat-trick. The unexposed Lartigue has shown plenty of ability in novice company and should not be underestimated on his handicap bow. Diamond Ranger and Crown Of India complete the shortlist.

DIAMOND RANGER only gave way inside the final furlong when third at Kempton recently and he is appealing off a 1 lb lower mark here. Next on the list is Speriamo, who has been in good form of late, a remark which also applied to the hat-trick seeking Gifted Angel, who is third choice. Crown of India is another for the shortlist.

The choice is DIAMOND RANGER who has winning form here and is due a 3lb rise for his fine third of 14 at Kempton eight days ago.

19:15 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

RENESMEE just gets the vote in a wide-open contest following her C&D victory earlier in the month. A 3lb rise for that effort appears to be fair and Alice Haynes' filly can confirm the form with Lia Rose, who was a close second. Red Treasure has made the frame on her last couple of starts and is likely to be in the mix once again, while similar comments apply to Shahnaz.

RED TREASURE shaped as though the return to this trip was just what the doctor ordered when third over 11f at Southwell last month. She shades preference ahead of Renesmee, who hasn't been with her present yard long and a 3 lb rise for her recent C&D success from Lia Rose is by no means off-putting. Idyllic is best of the rest.

This can go to LIA ROSE (nap) who was making her AW debut when just beaten by Renesmee over C&D 19 days ago.

19:45 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A somewhat unlucky loser when slowly away and carried right over a furlong out over C&D last week, SNOOZE LANE showed a lot of promise on his first go at the trip and, with further improvement expected, he can get back to winning ways. Lady Wingalong has rarely run a bad race this season and is likely to be thereabouts again, with Dumfries and Ormolulu others to consider for the places at least.

SNOOZE LANE and Lady Wingalong could be the pair to concentrate on, with marginal preference for the former who went down fighting off this mark over C&D last time. Havana Rose responded well to the first-time cheekpieces at Musselburgh and she is an appealing each-way option.

The vote goes to SNOOZE LANE whose four course wins have come over further, but 7f didn't look an issue when second here ten days ago.

20:15 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Now that GLOBAL WARNING has regained the winning thread with a determined performance at Lingfield last month, there could be a bit more to come from the eight-year-old off a 2lb higher mark. He is preferred to fellow C&D winner A Pint Of Bear and King's Crown, who has a long losing streak to overcome but looked at home on the all-weather when second at Newcastle on his penultimate outing.

The one to side with here is GLOBAL WARNING, who has only gone up 2 lb for his recent Lingfield win. A Pint of Bear is taken to follow the selection home, while King's Crown and Till It Shines could both have parts to play, too.

The choice is KING'S CROWN who has only raced once on the AW and that was when just beaten at Newcastle last month.
