15/2(+6%) | (6) Alyara 15/2, Fourteen runs since last win in 2022 but went close off this career-low mark over 7f here 12 days ago. Up in trip. Has to be taken seriously. Close third over 7f here last time; this step back up in distance looks ideal; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (7/1 +30%) Weloof |
7/1(+30%) | (2) Weloof 7/1, C&D winner. Respectable fifth of 13 in handicap (22/1) at Kempton (1m) 17 days ago, making effort earlier than ideal. Veteran of the field but has done enough this year to suggest he can't be dismissed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (14/1 -75%) Sparkling Spirit |
14/1(-75%) | (5) Sparkling Spirit 14/1, Back-to-form third of 13 in handicap at Kempton (1m, 40/1) 17 days ago, running on. Claims if in similar form. 3yo maiden who is less exposed at this sort of trip than over shorter; could go well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) (150/1 -200%) Cuttlestone Bridge |
150/1(-200%) | (9) Cuttlestone Bridge 150/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 125/1, seventh of 8 in C&D novice 42 days ago. Eyeshields on first time. Makes handicap debut. Handicap debutant who has poor claims on form. |

33/1(-32%) | (10) Independent Beauty 33/1, Remains a maiden after 26 Flat runs. Eighth of 12 in handicap (33/1) at Chester (7f, soft) 36 days ago. Back up in trip. Longstanding and inconsistent maiden. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

25/1(-25%) | (8) Honky Tonk Town 25/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 12/1, first run since leaving John Butler when ninth of 12 in handicap at Newcastle (1m) 25 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Cheekpieces on first time. First-time headgear is a possible source of improvement. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
A progressive sort throughout this season and not beaten far at Brighton last time out, HITCHED looks to have been found an ideal opportunity to get back to winning ways from a plum inside draw. C&D winner Weloof has been running with credit of late and must enter calculations, along with Zakram, who may be suited by the drop in distance. Alyara and Kingwell are entitled to be thereabouts as well.
ALYARA went close over a shorter trip here last time and might prove the answer to this opener. 3-y-os Hitched, who has scored twice on turf this year, and Paco's Pride may give John Flint's mare most to do.
Off a handy mark back up in distance, ALYARA could well regain the winning thread. Hitched is second choice.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

6/1(-80%) | (2) Waleyfa 6/1, Three wins from 7 runs this year, the latest over C&D in May. Off 4 months, seventh of 10 in handicap (25/1) at Chester (7.6f, heavy) 21 days ago. Should be sharper now and respected back on favoured AW. Successful in her last three AW attempts; interesting back in this sphere. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (9) (5/4 +50%) Island Native |
5/4(+50%) | (9) Island Native 5/4, Very good second of 13 over C&D last month and backed it up when runner-up at Lingfield 16 days ago. There's a race in him off a mark in the mid-50s. 3yo maiden who went close at this course and Lingfield the last twice; turn looks near. |

4/1(+20%) | (8) My Roxanne 4/1, Latest win at Newcastle in June. 5/1, respectable third of 8 in handicap at Newcastle (1m) 15 days ago. Likely to be competitive. Creditable third at Newcastle last time; place claims on first run here. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (18/1 +0%) Aeroplane Mode |
18/1(+0%) | (5) Aeroplane Mode 18/1, Lightly-raced maiden on Flat. Eleventh of 13 in handicap (80/1) at Bath 1mf, soft) 19 days ago. Would need to see market support to consider. Pair of duck eggs since handicapping; best watched. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (6) (33/1 -32%) Well Prepared |
33/1(-32%) | (6) Well Prepared 33/1, Course winner in January and followed up at Chelmsford 10 days later. Off since a lesser run here in April. Much depends on whether he's primed after an absence. Market may prove best guide on return from six-month layoff. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (4) (20/1 -11%) Boujee Gold |
20/1(-11%) | (4) Boujee Gold 20/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Seventh of 11 in handicap at this course (7f, 10/1) 49 days ago, slowly away. Up in trip. Must improve. Retains low mileage and may do better still at an ordinary level. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (10) (50/1 -25%) Say Grace |
50/1(-25%) | (10) Say Grace 50/1, Course winner. Sixteen runs since last win in 2022. 40/1, twelfth of 14 in handicap at Leicester (7f, good) 26 days ago. Up in trip. Risky proposition at present. Has doubts over current form and the trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (7) (18/1 +28%) Melwood Boy |
18/1(+28%) | (7) Melwood Boy 18/1, 125/1, first run since leaving Hugo Palmer when sixth of 8 in handicap at Chepstow 47 days ago. Claims if recapturing the form he showed on AW at the start of his career. Still a maiden but this return to AW may help on second start for new yard. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Runner-up on his last two starts, including over C&D last month, ISLAND NATIVE seems to set the standard on form and he must hold every chance if able to overcome the widest draw. Harbour Vision may be winless since scoring over C&D last December, but he is now 7lb below that mark, while Glory Call must be of interest on the step up in trip.
The draw could have been kinder to ISLAND NATIVE but he still looks worth siding with on the back of good runner-up efforts in recent weeks. Waleyfa could be sharper for a recent outing on turf and is feared most as a three-time AW winner. My Roxanne has a pretty solid record lately and should also be in the shake-up.

1st (3) (22/1 -120%) Ziggy's Dream |
22/1(-120%) | (3) Ziggy's Dream 22/1, Sharp enough to make a winning debut at Doncaster (5f, soft) in April and improved further when runner-up in Lily Agnes at Chester 2 weeks later. Progress stalled thereafter, well below best when seventh of 8 in novice event at that venue 5 weeks ago. Came to hand early but her progress has stalled and she has something to prove for now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (5/2 +17%) Shuangxi |
5/2(+17%) | (2) Shuangxi 5/2, Bred to be sharp and knew enough to make a winning debut over 5f here last month, leading inside final 1f and running on. Never figured upped markedly in grade when eleventh in Group 1 Cheveley Park since and she's respected returned to calmer waters. 5f win here on debut before struggling in Group 1 latest (bad draw); this more suitable. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (14/1 -75%) Gladly Ever After |
14/1(-75%) | (1) Gladly Ever After 14/1, Winning debut at Chepstow (6f) in July. 7/2, below form sixth of 12 in minor event at Beverley (5f, heavy) 25 days ago, fading last ½f having showed good speed. Better showing anticipated on AW debut from handy draw. It wasn't a strong maiden she won on debut and no progress since; opposable on AW debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (7) (16/5 +20%) Miss Anya |
16/5(+20%) | (7) Miss Anya 16/5, Lightly-raced maiden. Respectable fourth of 13 in maiden at Beverley (5f, heavy, 11/4) 31 days ago, coming from further back than the trio ahead of her. Step back up in trip a plus and she's entitled to be in the mix. Has shown some promise but without really progressing; vulnerable to improvers. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (8) (4/1 -14%) Princess Alice |
4/1(-14%) | (8) Princess Alice 4/1, Promising sort. 11/2, third of 9 in minor event at Kempton (6f) on debut 24 days ago, keeping on well final 1f. Open to improvement. Took a while to pick up on debut but stayed on well late; should do much better in time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (5/1 +64%) Land Of Hope |
5/1(+64%) | (6) Land Of Hope 5/1, Foaled February 12. €40,000 yearling, Invincible Army filly. Half-sister to 7f-1m winner Liangel Hope and winner up to 1m Hasten Slowly. Dam winner up to 1m (2-y-o 7f winner). Market should guide on debut. 40,000euros half-sister to two 7f/1m winners; worth a market check despite wide stall. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (11) (150/1 -127%) Via Blanca |
150/1(-127%) | (11) Via Blanca 150/1, Twice-raced maiden. 40/1, eighth of 10 in minor event at Yarmouth (5.2f, good), unable to sustain effort. Off 101 days. Modest form in two runs over shorter; hard to recommend from the outside stall. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (25/1 +0%) Diligencia |
25/1(+0%) | (5) Diligencia 25/1, Foaled April 12. Due Diligence filly. Dam unraced. Yard can ready a newcomer and worth noting if the betting spoke in her favour. Unraced dam from a middle-distance family; likely to need further in time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (9) (9/1 -38%) Sea Of Angels |
9/1(-38%) | (9) Sea Of Angels 9/1, Showed a bit amidst greenness when fourth of 6 in novice event at Lingfield (5f, AW) on debut in August but went backwards from that faced with heavy ground when last of 12 in a Nottingham maiden (5f) 25 days ago. Return to AW may help now. Promise on her debut (5f, AW) but less good on slow turf latest; big step forward required. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (10) (100/1 -203%) Showmethewayhome |
100/1(-203%) | (10) Showmethewayhome 100/1, Twice-raced maiden who stepped up a little on her debut effort when fifth of 8 in maiden (11/2) at Newcastle (7.1f) 25 days ago, staying on gradually without being unduly punished. Still, handicaps entitled to be more her bag. Not achieved much in two runs, including on Tapeta; return to 6f not enough to tempt. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (4) (33/1 -65%) Come On You Spurs |
33/1(-65%) | (4) Come On You Spurs 33/1, Foaled February 17. 24,000 gns yearling, Zoffany filly. Half-sister to 2 winners abroad by Slade Power. Dam lightly-raced half-sister to very smart 7f winner Dutch Connection. Wears hood. 80-1 when withdrawn after unruly in preliminaries on intended debut; likely best watched. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
A promising third on her debut at Kempton last month when short of room at a crucial stage two furlongs out, PRINCESS ALICE looks the one to be on with improvement forthcoming. Runner-up on two of her last three starts, Miss Anya must be a key player, as well as course winner Shuangxi, who takes a significant drop in grade having contested the Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket latest.
SHUANGXI found the marked step up in class all too much on her latest outing 3 weeks ago but she'd created a positive impression when making a winning debut over the minimum trip here previously. Returned to calmer waters, she may well be up to resuming progress, with Miss Anya and Princess Alice fancied to pose the lead threats to Michael Bell's filly.
Shuangxi will appreciate the drop in class but PRINCESS ALICE (nap) can take a big step forward from her promising Kempton debut.

Not discounted. 6f win at Southwell in August was reward for a string of good runs; each-way claims again. |

5th (4) (7/1 -75%) Glamorous Express |
7/1(-75%) | (4) Glamorous Express 7/1, 12/1, respectable third of 13 in handicap at Bath (5.7f, soft) 19 days ago. Makes tapeta debut. Can make presence felt. Back in form on slow turf the last twice; 3lb higher ahead of this AW debut; drawn widest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (9/2 +0%) Water Of Leith |
9/2(+0%) | (5) Water Of Leith 9/2, C&D winner. Sixth of 12 in handicap (22/1) at Ayr (7.2f, soft) 18 days ago. Dropping in the weights without showing any sign of taking advantage. Should be winning races off this mark but he's had a quiet 2023; others look safer. |

7th (8) (7/1 +22%) Cabeza De Llave |
7/1(+22%) | (8) Cabeza De Llave 7/1, Respectable fourth of 11 in handicap at this course (5.1f, 12/1) 18 days ago. Should be on the premises. On a good mark and retains ability but hasn't convinced with stamina in other 6f runs. |

50/1(-100%) | (2) Due Date 50/1, 80/1, first run since leaving Clive Cox when last of 11 in handicap at this course (7.2f) 18 days ago. Hard to fancy. Ran well over C&D for C Cox in May; low-key stable debut (80-1) over C&D 18 days ago. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
GLAMOROUS EXPRESS hit the frame over an extended 5f in a class 4 event at Bath last time and the handicapper put him up 3lb for that display. However, that may not be enough to prevent him from recording his second career success. Speed Dial Baileys has hit the frame the last twice over 5f here and could have a say, while Newyorkstateofmind is also of interest.
GLAMOROUS EXPRESS is on a handy mark and arrives in form, so he's preferred to Cabeza de LLave and Speed Dial Baileys in what looks a wide-open sprint.

7/2(+0%) | (4) Josies Kid 7/2, Didn't need to improve to win 11-runner handicap (11/4) at this C&D, finding extra. Off 124 days. Should be on the premises again. Game front-running C&D win when last seen in June; still has handicapping scope. |

4th (1) (3/1 +60%) Resilience |

6th (2) (10/1 -67%) Boom The Groom |
10/1(-67%) | (2) Boom The Groom 10/1, 3-time C&D winner. Latest win at Chelmsford City in August. Creditable second of 7 in handicap (9/1) at Brighton (5.3f, good) 11 days ago. Likeable veteran who should put up another bold showing. Two 5f wins in August and placed in both runs since; should go well once again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (18/1 -227%) Granny B |
18/1(-227%) | (5) Granny B 18/1, First run since leaving John Quinn when hooded for 1st time, career best when winning 13-runner handicap (16/1) at Pontefract (5f, good to soft) 23 days ago, slowly away. Merits consideration. Winning stable debut at Pontefract last month; 2lb rise fair but usually fluffs the start. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (3) (8/1 +20%) Dalby Forest |
8/1(+20%) | (3) Dalby Forest 8/1, Last of 7 in handicap at this C&D (7/2) 50 days ago, slowly away. Blinkers on 1st time. Needs to bounce back. Fluffed start over C&D last time; earlier 2nd at Southwell gives him claims; headgear now. |

9th (8) (14/1 -75%) Glorious Charmer |

Probably needed the run last time and is likely to be closer to form. Conditions suit and on a winning mark; needs to step up on August's low-key Southwell run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (10) (50/1 -127%) Doc Sportello |
50/1(-127%) | (10) Doc Sportello 50/1, C&D winner. Off 12 months and 28/1, sixth of 7 in handicap at Brighton (5.3f, heavy) 33 days ago. Should strip fitter for that run. Should be sharper for last month's return but this veteran is still not easily recommended. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
GRANNY B was successful when making her first start for the Michael Mullineaux stable at Pontefract last time and she is only 2lb higher for that victory. The daughter of Acclamation could easily take another step forward to record a double. Dalby Forest ran too bad to be true over C&D last month and he now sports first-time blinkers, which could eke out more. Of the remainder, C&D winner Josies Kid appeals most.
BOOM THE GROOM has been in top form for a while and should be able to secure the early lead, so he should be hard to pass. Last-time-out winners Josies Kid and Granny B are obvious dangers.

22/1(-22%) | (9) The Craftymaster 22/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, creditable eighth of 13 in handicap (20/1) at Bath (10.2f, good to soft) 87 days ago, best work finish. First run for yard after leaving Roger Teal. Unplaced all four runs for Roger Teal; hiked up in trip for yard debut; improvement needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (11/4 +31%) Huscari |
11/4(+31%) | (2) Huscari 11/4, 10/1, creditable fifth of 12 in handicap at Southwell (14.1f) 23 days ago. Should make her presence felt. Stayed on for respectable fifth at Southwell (1m6f) last month; now 5lb below winning mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (17/2 -31%) Autonomy |
17/2(-31%) | (1) Autonomy 17/2, Course winner. Six wins from 19 Flat runs. 100/1, tenth of 13 in handicap at Southwell (11.1f) 23 days ago. Significantly up in trip and he needs to bounce back. Triple Tapeta winner in spring 2022 but well held last month after a long layoff. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (8) (10/3 +33%) Mellow Mood |
10/3(+33%) | (8) Mellow Mood 10/3, Creditable fourth of 10 in handicap at this course (14f, 9/4) 12 days ago and, though her record stands at 0-11, she has to be feared in a race of this nature. Has made the frame on six of her seven starts this year, including a close second over C&D. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (5/1 +9%) Ghostly |
5/1(+9%) | (3) Ghostly 5/1, Course winner. Latest win at Thirsk in August. Good fourth of 11 in handicap (13/2) at this course (12.2f) 14 days ago. Significantly back up in trip and he's one for the shortlist. Won twice in August (1m6f here/1m4f on turf) and looks well worth another crack at 2m. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (33/1 -65%) Tamay Girl |
33/1(-65%) | (7) Tamay Girl 33/1, Last of 11 in juvenile hurdle at Ludlow (15.8f, good, 150/1) on NH debut 10 days ago. Significantly up in trip and cheekpieces on 1st time. Modest performer in this sphere and she looks vulnerable. Hasn't shown much on the Flat or over hurdles for this stable; cheekpieces tried today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (10) (80/1 -167%) Lady Bianca |
80/1(-167%) | (10) Lady Bianca 80/1, Cheekpieces on for 1st time, eighth of 10 in handicap at this course (8.6f, 80/1) 18 days ago. Significantly up in trip and it's probably best to look elsewhere. Pulled up on stable/hurdle debut in August and has also struggled on the Flat since. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
GERROTS (second) had Mellow Mood (fourth) behind when making an encouraging start to life under Deborah Faulkner over 1m6f here earlier in the month, and he is able to compete off the same rating. The five-year-old should have no issue with this longer trip and can get his head in front for the first time. If Roman Art can run to the level of his third at Southwell over 1m3f on his penultimate start, then he could get competitive too.
The vote goes to HUSCARI, who has performed with credit both starts since returning from a break last month and her latest effort at Southwell can be marked up a touch, as she wasn't suited by the way the race unfolded. Gerrots put in a good shift on debut for this yard over 1¾m here and a reproduction of that would give him every chance of finally getting his head in front. Roman Art and Mellow Mood are others to consider.

1st (1) (11/8 +0%) Tarjeeh |
11/8(+0%) | (1) Tarjeeh 11/8, Promising sort. Won 14-runner minor event at Newbury (7f, good, 7/2) on the second of his 2 starts as a juvenile. 15-month absence to overcome but otherwise appealing given his scope for improvement. Belated return after Newbury win last July but he looked very useful that day. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (11/2 +31%) Running Star |
11/2(+31%) | (6) Running Star 11/2, Once-raced maiden. 22/1, third of 10 in minor event at Southwell (8.1f) on debut 23 days ago, not knocked about. Should have more to offer with that run under his belt. Ran to fair level when staying-on third on 1m Southwell debut 23 days ago; should improve. |

20/1(-67%) | (11) Meleki 20/1, 40,000 gns yearling, Muhaarar filly. Dam smart winner up to 1m (including at 2 yrs). Yard can ready one first time out and she needs a close look in the betting. Newcomer from a good yard and out of a French Listed/Group 3 winner; check betting. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (12/1 -9%) Tribute |
12/1(-9%) | (8) Tribute 12/1, Fair gelding. Sixth of 9 in maiden at Pontefract (8f, good to soft, 6/4) 83 days ago, slowly away. Blinkers on 1st time. Yard also saddles newcomer Meleki. Two fair runs but other efforts poor, weakening tamely on turf 12 weeks ago; new headgear. |

Wears hood on debut and probably best watched on this occasion. Yard in form but watching brief advised on belated debut; wears a hood. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (2) (80/1 +36%) Mazzorbo |
80/1(+36%) | (2) Mazzorbo 80/1, Thrice-raced maiden. Hooded for 1st time, first run since leaving Dean Ivory when fourth of 7 in minor event (100/1) at Nottingham (10.2f, good to soft) 72 days ago. Probably more one for handicaps in due course. Showed ability on his belated return at Nottingham but he also looked wayward. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (3) (150/1 +0%) Hiccups |
150/1(+0%) | (3) Hiccups 150/1, Once-raced maiden. Last of 8 in maiden at Pontefract (8f, good to soft, 150/1) on debut 30 days ago. Readily passed over. 150-1 and always behind on 1m Pontefract debut last month. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
TARJEEH has been off the track since beating a decent field in a novice event at Newbury in July 2022 but it would be no surprise to see him make a winning return in a race of this nature. Leading Lion looks the most likely to benefit if the selection disappoints based on his second at Newcastle recently, while Elladonna and Running Star are next best.
The well-bred TARJEEH hasn't been seen out since landing a Newbury novice last July, but he looked very promising that day and remains capable of better. If fully-tuned up for this assignment, he will take plenty of stopping. Elladonna and Leading Lion both stepped up on their respective debut efforts when hitting the crossbar last time and rate the main dangers, in that order of preference, while Running Star is another likely improver who could have a role to play.

2nd (1) (9/2 +10%) Wilkie |
9/2(+10%) | (1) Wilkie 9/2, Eleven runs since last win in 2021. Tenth of 12 in handicap (7/2) at Chelmsford City (10f) 16 days ago, not clear run. Back up in trip for this tapeta debut and dangerous to discount having slipped to an attractive mark. Failed to fire when backed last time but remains dangerously well treated. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (11/1 -38%) Sexy Rexy |
11/1(-38%) | (7) Sexy Rexy 11/1, Career best when winning 12-runner handicap at this C&D (12/1) 14 days ago, well positioned. 4 lb rise tolerable and she's a live candidate. Well placed when winning messy race over C&D latest but should remain competitive up 4lb. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (10) (33/1 -65%) Duchess |
33/1(-65%) | (10) Duchess 33/1, 7/1, 9 lengths tenth of 12 to Sexy Rexy in handicap at this C&D 14 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Others more persuasive on balance. One of her better runs when fourth over C&D last month but well held back here since. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (28/1 +15%) Lochnaver |
28/1(+15%) | (4) Lochnaver 28/1, Latest win at Hamilton in June. 22/1, last of 9 in handicap at Hamilton (12.1f, soft) 19 days ago. Tough to assess at present. Below par since Hamilton win in June; remains to be seen if return to AW sparks revival. |

7th (2) (3/1 +14%) Pysanka |
3/1(+14%) | (2) Pysanka 3/1, Won 11-runner handicap (5/2) at this C&D 14 days ago, just holding on. More will be needed if he's to follow up off this 3 lb higher mark. Off the mark in a C&D handicap 14 days ago, his first attempt at 1m4f; player up 3lb. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (6) (6/1 +0%) Smart Charger |
6/1(+0%) | (6) Smart Charger 6/1, Creditable second of 12 in handicap (13/2) at Kempton (11f) 33 days ago. Makes tapeta debut and will need to raise his game in order to go one better here. Latest 1m3f Kempton second looks solid and could be more to come at 1m4f; big player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (3) (22/1 -175%) Hot Team |
22/1(-175%) | (3) Hot Team 22/1, 5/1, creditable third of 12 in handicap at Chelmsford City (10f) 37 days ago. Up in trip and should be in the mix once again. Largely consistent this year and should be on premises if stamina holds back up in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (5) (7/1 +50%) Miss Lightfandango |
7/1(+50%) | (5) Miss Lightfandango 7/1, Sixth of 7 in handicap at Bath (10.2f, good to firm, 7/2) 38 days ago. Up in trip for this tapeta debut and capable of playing a leading role. Not at best last time but third at Windsor prior to that and less exposed than most. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
SEXY REXY returned to winning ways over C&D a couple of weeks ago and the daughter of Saxon Warrior sets the standard off just a 4lb higher mark. Hot Team has made the frame on his last two starts and is likely to be in the mix once again, while Pysanka edges out Smart Charger to be best of the rest.
HOT TEAM has been knocking on the door this season and he could be the answer to an open-looking handicap. An on-song Wilkie would be a threat off this reduced mark, while the consistent Global Tycoon is also shortlisted. Last-time-out-winners Pysanka and Sexy Rexy both merit respect, too.

4/1(+60%) | (10) Glory Sky 4/1, Winner at Kempton in May. 10/1, respectable sixth of 11 in handicap at Chelmsford City (8f) 7 days ago. Might well be on the premises. Handicapper has looked in command after her novice win in May; needs to pull out more. |

12th (5) (80/1 -100%) Dynamite Katie |
80/1(-100%) | (5) Dynamite Katie 80/1, 100/1 and hooded for 1st time, ninth of 11 in handicap at this C&D 18 days ago. Others preferred. Yet to get going for new yard, including when 100-1 for a C&D handicap 18 days ago. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Chifa has to be of interest following his C&D victory two weeks ago but he is up in grade now and is 3lb higher in the ratings. With that in mind, preference is for LIBERTY MOUNTAIN, who was only beaten a head into second over this track and trip on her penultimate start. Fiscal Policy arrives here on a workable mark and is another to consider.
CHIFA enhanced his excellent course record when scoring with something to spare a fortnight ago and he's well worth a chance to follow up in a race that should be run to suit. Fiscal Policy and Liberty Mountain look the main dangers.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
