Punchbowl Flyer is already a dual C&D winner who runs off a career-low rating and would be a player if recapturing any of his old sparkle. However, after a couple of near-misses under today's pilot in this grade in July, HARRY'S HALO is readily suggested as the most attractive proposition on these terms, especially with ground conditions set to be ideal.

LAHINA BAY was just about better than ever when runner-up at Goodwood 3 weeks ago and this C&D winner makes plenty of appeal for her in-form yard. Harry's Halo dips in class so is second choice, ahead of Havana Mojito.

The 6yo HELLO ZABEEL (nap) has less inspiring seasonal form figures than many but it could be that he needs a break between his races.

AVIATION TIME has been highly tried since she made a winning debut at Kempton in May, with her third-placed finish in the Windsor Castle at Ascot being a particular highlight. Equally notable, she was only four lengths behind the winner despite finishing last in the Group 3 Princess Margaret on her penultimate start and that form suggests a race like this should be well within her reach, providing she copes with dropping back to 5f after another solid effort at Chester latest. Amestris and Seraphim Angel can chase the selection home.

A potential match between AVIATION TIME and Amestris, who have both been keeping much better company, the former shading the vote for a yard that has hit good form.

This represents a welcome drop in grade for AMESTRIS and she's been running better than her form figures suggest in quality races.

The betting market should be informative here, with the likes of Breathless Spirit, Run Away and Tawajjah all notable types to consider if their claims appear to be backed up by support in the betting market. However, MUHIB has an appealing pedigree and, with his high-profile yard having taken a very patient approach with him, it would come as no surprise to see this son of Too Darn Hot make a big impact on his belated racecourse debut.

NOISY JAZZ found listed company a bit too much at this stage on her career at York 3 weeks ago but she looked a good prospect on debut and can get back on the right track down in class. Breathless Spirit is the type to go on improving, while Muhib is a newcomer of extreme interest.

An interesting novice. NOISY JAZZ was highly tried over much further last time out and she had impressed with her debut success.

MORCAR won with any amount in hand over 1m2f here last month and, with scope for further progress at this longer trip, a 7lb rise not prevent him from going in again. The Whipmaster returned to form with a creditable third at Lingfield recently and would be a real threat if able to build on that performance, while Mighty Bandit is also noted.

SUPER SUPERJACK looks primed for a bold showing on the back of his resurgent Kempton sixth so gets the nod in this very open handicap. Course scorer Fast Steps heads the list of dangers, although a good case can also be made for in-form trio Diamond Ranger, Mightty Bandit and Morcar.

The well-treated THE WHIPMASTER may come on for his recent AW run (back from a break) and he's often dangerous around here.

PARTY ISLAND finished third behind Morcar (runs in the 3.12) last time when attempting to follow up on his earlier Sandown triumph. Denis Coakley's seven-year-old hasn't always been the most consistent but he will appreciate an ease in class and, if bouncing right back to form, he must hold every chance. Darysina Gold remains in good form and must be considered along with Macari, who bumped into an in-form rival at Leicester recently. Oisin Murphy retains his partnership with Forest Hills and the son of Mastercraftsman should not be written off.

IDYLLIC is progressing gradually which may prove enough to take care of this ordinary field switched to turf for the first time. Fellow 3-y-os Darysina Gold and Forest Hills head the dangers.

This looks very open but 1m2f might be just the ticket for NEW KINGS ROAD who ran in a stronger event over further last time.

Daisy Roots recorded a narrow success over C&D a fortnight ago and is a key player from 4lb higher, but preference is for JUDGE FRANK. The Inns Of Court gelding recorded a narrow victory of his own over 7f at Chepstow off 2lb lower last time and, with cheekpieces applied for the first time and sent over an extra furlong, further improvement could be in the offing. Absolutely Buzzing sprang a 50/1 surprise when winning at Chelmsford last month and, with few miles on the clock, she may prove there was no fluke about that effort.

If able to back up last month's Chelmsford success now returned to turf, ABSOLUTELY BUZZING will have strong prospects of going in again off this 6 lb higher mark. Daisy Roots has won two of her last three starts and is an obvious threat, while Oriental Spirit is also seriously considered. Judge Frank needs a second look, too.

Consistent filly DAISY ROOTS arrives here in better form than most and gets the vote.

Monks Mead remains on the same mark as his latest third at Bath and is expected to be in the mix once again, with Alicia Perkins' 7lb claim aiding his cause. Ajrad returned to winning ways at Chepstow a fortnight ago having finished a place behind MARCHETTI when third at the same venue the week before. Jimmy Fox's mare enjoys a 2lb swing with that rival which should help her to confirm the form. Adace and Valadero complete the shortlist.

MARCHETTI is taken to deservedly resume winning ways on the back of solid efforts in defeat at Kempton and Chepstow the last twice. She certainly won't have things all her own way, though, with last-time-out winner Ajrad and Adace, who has been knocking firmly on the door in recent months, both accorded plenty of respect. Bella Veneta and Monks Mead and Valadero all have claims, too, while Mayz is a plausible each-way candidate.

Most of these find winning hard but VALADERO is getting there in the blinkers and David Egan could make a difference to him.

APPLE A DEY produced her best effort to date when third at Kempton in February on her UK/stable debut for Mark Hoad and the daughter of Dandy Man remains unexposed as she makes her handicap bow. Bama Lama has been a model of consistency in recent months and is capable of another decent showing, while Notre Maison and Kento head the remainder.

The vote goes to CABEZA DE LLAVE, who did well to finish as close as he did when beaten a neck over this C&D a fortnight ago. Notre Maison was successful here on her penultimate start and, having put in another good shift when third at Chepstow next time, she is feared most. Apple A Dey was a close third in a Kempton maiden on debut for this yard and is also shortlisted, along with Kento.

There looks to be a lot of pace on here and one who might swoop late is CABEZA DE LLAVE, a C&D winner who ran well here last time.
