17:10 Windsor Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Raffles Angel is the only runner here to tasted victory after scoring on handicap debut at Ripon last month easily enough, but she does have an added 7lb which suggests further improvement is required. Mick Appleby has a good record with horses from other yards and NOISY MUSIC could be interesting, leaving Kevin Ryan after her Wolverhampton second and making her handicap debut off bottom weight. Call Time is another to consider after her Bath second.

RAFFLES ANGEL did the job well when opening her account on her handicap debut at Ripon recently and she looks capable of defying a 7 lb rise in the weights. The main danger may be posed by Noisy Music, who chased home a race-fit, progressive rival back from a break at Wolverhampton and may have more to offer now pitched into a handicap for her new yard. Call Time is also high on the shortlist.

Some interesting 3yos making their handicap debuts but RAFFLES ANGEL did a good job at Ripon and should progress further.

17:45 Windsor Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A heady mix of well-bred newcomers and those with racecourse form, with INVINCIBLE SONG the number one pick. Third on her Newmarket debut when looking as if the experience would do her good, she should have learned plenty from that and is likely to step forward. Titian Blue is the obvious danger after her Ripon second and with the Haggas yard in among the winners, leaving Cayman Tai and Bold Impact as others to consider in a race worth watching for future winners.

TITIAN BLUE is a half-sister to several winners and shaped like a ready-made future winner herself when runner-up on recent debut at Ripon. The Blue Point filly gets the nod ahead of fellow promising types Bold Impact, Invincible Song and Cayman Tai in what has the makings of an informative contest. Several of the newcomers are appealing, too, most notably Cayman Tai's stablemate Gayedhom.

All of the runners with experience have shown clear promise. TITIAN BLUE is narrowly preferred, ahead of Bold Impact.

18:15 Windsor Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Almizan is interesting as a daughter of Night Of Thunder and with William Buick in the saddle, but her breeding suggests she may be better over further. Bourgeoisie has finished second on her last three starts and warrants respect ahead of her return, but RED PIXIE could be the one. She ran out of steam close home over further when third at Yarmouth and shouldn't suffer the same problem here.

RED PIXIE stepped forward from her debut when third at Yarmouth a month ago and there's more progress in her, so she's preferred to Gutsy Girl, who scored at Carlisle 9 months ago. Almizan is a notable newcomer.

With the drop to sprinting a likely plus, RED PIXIE gets the vote. Potentially useful Gutsy Girl is feared most.

18:45 Windsor Handicap (Class 3) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

BLUE DAY made the perfect start to the handicap ranks when accounting for his nearest rival by over a length at Southwell in April. The son of Blue Point goes off a 7lb higher rating, which is unlikely to stop him from recording a double and possibly going onto better things. Moswaat ran too bad to be true when well beaten at Newmarket last time and is worth another chance, while Jimmy Speaking holds an obvious chance in pursuit of a hat-trick.

It's hard not to resist BLUE DAY, who showed plenty in his three starts as a juvenile and duly improved when making a winning handicap debut on return at Southwell. He had plenty left in the tank that day and this 7 lb higher mark should be well within reach. The hat-trick seeking Jimmy Speaking looks nailed-on for another big effort, while Dapper Valley is third choice ahead of Cajetan and Trefor.

With further progress on the cards, BLUE DAY (nap) is taken to follow up his Southwell success. Jimmy Speaking is second choice.

19:15 Windsor Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Flindrikin got up by a head despite having a troubled passage in a class 5 event at Newcastle in January and she has to be considered on her first start on turf with Tom Marquand on board. However, she could come out second best to SILVER GUNN, who finished fourth over track and trip on his latest outing and he was dropped 1lb for that display. Marco Botti's six-year-old is a two-time course-and-distance winner and now competes off his last winning mark, so he gets the nod. Aerospace can fight it out for the minor honours.

FLINDRIKIN got off the mark at the second attempt in handicaps at Newcastle in January and this low-mileage 4-y-o is taken to continue the good work switched to turf. Silver Gunn's reappearance over C&D a month ago will have blown the cobwebs away and he's feared most.

The lightly raced Frankel filly FLINDRIKIN could have plenty more to offer for William Haggas and she is taken to prevail.

19:45 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Ten Ten Twenty produced a shock victory over 1m4f at Wolverhampton last time and he will be out to prove that success was no fluke off a 2lb higher rating. However, ANGEL ON HIGH looks the way to go. Adrian Wintle's seven-year-old hit the frame at Leicester last month and goes off an unchanged mark, while Fascinating Lips is another to keep an eye on off a career-low mark.

This is the lowest band of handicap FASCINATING LIPS has ever contested and, now expected to be at peak fitness on this third run back, he could be the answer. Last-time-out winners Ten Ten Twenty and Bond Spirit aren't obvious follow-up contenders, so Angel On High and Grey Owl head the opposition.

Recent winners Bond Spirit and Ten Ten Twenty are respected but GREY OWL can go one better than on his handicap debut.

20:15 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

NOSTROMO ran an eye-catching race when staying on well to finish fourth after becoming outpaced over 1m2f here last month and connections waste no time with stepping him up in trip. Eased 1lb, Roger Teal's relatively unexposed handicapper can open his account here. Damoiseau has hit the woodwork on his last couple of starts and it would be no surprise if his turn in the winner's enclosure is just around the corner. Total Lockdown has the ability to feature in a race of this nature, but his exuberance in the early part of the race can often leave him wanting at the finish.

DAMOISEAU arrives on the back of a good effort and is well treated, so he's worth a chance to get back to winning ways despite his quirks, Mujid should come on for his reappearance and looks one to consider, while Nostromo should be considered on the back of a creditable effort.

The vote goes to NOSTROMO, who was an eyecatcher on his handicap debut here last month and looks interesting at this new trip.

20:45 Windsor Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The combination of the ease in grade and the return to a mile looked to work the oracle for GREY FOX when running out a comfortable winner at Newbury a few weeks ago, and he gets the nod to defy a 5lb rise en route to bringing up the double. Racing Demon, now bidding for a hat-trick, can emerge as the main danger to the selection on the back of two impressive victories, but this rise in class asks a question of him. Darvel and Intercessor also warrant respect in what looks to be a wide-open affair.

GREY FOX has shown a liking for this track and was well on top at the finish when scoring at Newbury last time, so he's preferred to Racing Demon, who also arrives on the top of his game. Darvel can't be ruled out.

Being still well handicapped, GREY FOX has a good chance of winning this race for a second time. Darvel is second choice.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses.
