After bouncing back to form with a good second over the extended 2m5f at Taunton, HOBIE looks set to build on that effort. David Dennis' charge has been raised 2lb and that could prove lenient, with this extra yardage unlikely to be an issue. The consistent Supasunrise also holds solid claims off the same mark as his near two-length third over 2m5f at Hereford, while better can be expected of Time For A Pint.
Though rather disappointing at Hereford last time, TIME FOR A PINT left the impression that there was better to come when opening his chase account at Catterick in January and he is well worth another chance. Hobie and Supasunrise complete the shortlist.
It's worth chancing chasing debutant PHIL DE PAIL, who will be suited by today's return to good ground.

EL CURAMACH has shown ability on each of his two starts to date and he can have a strong say here. Ryan Potter's runner was fourth at Taunton and that form looks solid given the first two home have both subsequently scored. Gasmani was successful in a bumper at Newcastle before coming up short at the Scottish National meeting and better can be expected now he goes jumping. Mokoro can improve on his second start for the powerful Skelton combination.
EL CURAMACH is likely to prove best back up in trip in due course but his Taunton fourth has been well franked and it probably won't take a whole lot more improvement to land this. Gasmani, a fair bumper winner, should be up to making his presence felt in a race of this nature over hurdles, while similar comments apply to Windsurfer, who's very much bred to have a future jumping.
The pick is EL CURAMACH, who ran well for a long way when fourth in a much stronger race than this at Taunton in March.

UKANTANGO has been a consistent performer since his first chase start and this looks to be a good opportunity to get off the mark over the larger obstacles. The seven-year-old represents the bang in-form Olly Murphy stable and he can continue that hot streak after being eased 1lb for his Market Rasen second. Crypto Currency makes his handicap and chasing bow, and improvement is anticipated, while Glen Cannel completes the shortlist.
GLEN CANNEL promises to make a better chaser so can make a winning start in this sphere with his yard right back among the winners. Crypto Currency is building up to something after a long absence, while Ukantango has the advantage of chase experience.

BHALOO bounced back to form with an easy success from the front at Kempton and a mark of 127 looks feasible on his handicap debut, with conditions in his favour once more. Denied by the narrowest of margins at Southwell, Nothin To Ask can give him the most to think about, although Manorbank should appreciate going back up in trip after a highly creditable second over 2m at Chepstow. Lunar Sovereign and Thelasthighking are capable of being in the shake-up as well.
NOTHIN TO ASK came agonisingly close to returning to winning ways at Southwell last month and remains fairly treated on old form. He can land the spoils. Bhaloo and Manorbank are feared most.
Nothin To Ask is respected but preference is for UGGY UGGY UGGY, an encouraging fifth at Cheltenham last month.

This can go the way of SISTER MICHAEL, who has done well since switching to his current stable and his third at Market Rasen in a contest that has worked out well since was highly encouraging. The eight-year-old should appreciate going beyond 3m for the first time and is preferred to unexposed handicap debutant Land Genie and course winner One More Fleurie, who returns to the smaller obstacles for the first time since October 2020.
LAND GENIE's hurdles efforts so far have hardly been brimming with promise but he's a well-bred bumper winner tackling a new trip so a much-improved showing would come as no surprise. Chatty Chich landed a few bets at Huntingdon on Thursday and is a major threat if allowed to take her chance, with Wavering Down completing the shortlist.

FIRST STREET's first crack at fences didn't go as planned but he is a classy performer over the smaller obstacles, with his best effort possibly being his second to State Man in the 2022 County Hurdle. Nicky Henderson's seven-year-old is top-rated in this field and he looks the one to beat. Boombawn was victorious on two of his last three outings over hurdles and he has to be taken seriously on his chasing debut, while Authorised Speed is far from out of it.
Most of these arrive with a question mark against them so this looks a good opportunity for in-form hurdler AUTHORISED SPEED to resume winning ways back chasing. Fencing newcomer Boombawn could emerge as the chief threat with Way Out another to consider if, as expected, building on his Chepstow hurdling sixth.
The best option is WAY OUT (nap), who made a very solid start to his chasing career last autumn and is very well suited by good ground.

KINGSTON PRIDE took a step forward from his Lingfield second behind a subsequent Grade 2 runner-up to justify short odds at Exeter, and he should have plenty more to offer. Nicky Henderson's grey can defy his 7lb penalty to record a double. Rocket Man changed hands for 82,000 euros and warrants a market check on his debut. Sunray Shadow is another newcomer to watch out for, while it will be interesting to see what the betting makes of the selection's stablemate Noble Park.
KINGSTON PRIDE underlined that he's a good prospect when opening his account in facile style at Exeter last time and a penalty is unlikely to be enough to stop him for all that there are some interesting newcomers in opposition, the pick of them being Sunray Shadow. Rocket Man is another one to consider if strong in the betting.
Dan Skelton's newcomer Sunray Shadow is respected but KINGSTON PRIDE looks the one to beat, having scored cosily at Exeter.
