(4) Isabella Bee 1.25/1, Modest form in maiden/novice company but duly improved when going close on handicap debut at Newton Abbot (16.8f, good) last month. 5 lb rise fair enough and this lightly-raced 6-y-o should have more to offer.
Low-mileage mare who went very close on last month's handicap debut; respected.

(6) Pittsburg 6/1, Firmly on the up since switched to fences, stylish winner of handicaps at Perth and Market Rasen last month. Failed by a whisker when bidding for the hat-trick at Cartmel (17.3f, soft) and will be a threat if able to translate that improvement back to this sphere.

0-12 over hurdles but ran big race when second here a fortnight ago.
LTO Selection:

14:25 Uttoxeter Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The Fergal O'Brien stable can do little wrong at present, and this looks like an ideal opportunity for ISABELLA BEE to get off the mark following an agonising defeat at Newton Abbot last month. Liam Harrison's 3lb claim should come in handy as well, and she is preferred to dual C&D winner Ambassador and Pittsburg, who is unlucky not to be arriving on a four-timer after a narrow defeat over fences at Cartmel.

ISABELLA BEE finished strongly when just touched off on her handicap debut at Newton Abbot and, with the potential for more back on a stiffer track, she is taken to go one better this time. If Pittsburg reproduces something akin to his improved chase form back hurdling he will be a danger to all.

The suggestion is ONLY FOOLS, who didn't get home when ridden very positively over 2m4f last time and now drops back in trip.

In contention before falling on recent handicap debut and has each-way claims here.
LTO Selection:

15:00 Uttoxeter Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

This can go the way of SHANDANCER, who may be a maiden after 18 starts but he ran well over this distance on his penultimate start at Worcester. His consistency can finally be rewarded at the main expense of Seinesational, who arrives with similar claims, having made the frame in three of his last five outings. Irish raider Bumble Bee Bet and the unexposed Climbing are expected to be thereabouts as well.

Irish raider BUMBLE BEE BET has shown enough to make him a player on form and, with the prospect of better to come yet, he makes most appeal. Shandancer and Seinesational look the likeliest dangers.

Preference is for SHANDANCER who is not always a fluent hurdler, but has been pretty consistent this season.

Not at best here a fortnight ago but in good form beforehand and won't mind if it rains.
LTO Selection:

15:35 Uttoxeter Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

As long as his jumping is on point, FAT SAM should be well capable of landing this prize based on the form he showed when second on his penultimate start at Newton Abbot. The nine-year-old has dropped 2lb below his last winning mark and he is fancied to see off Getaway Luv, who is worth another go at this sort of trip after disappointing here over 2m. Friary Rock and Trapista are capable of being in the shake-up too.

FAT SAM figures on a good mark so is well worth siding with to bounce back in style from his Newton Abbot exit. Getaway Luv could emerge as the chief threat if, as expected, returning to form after a rare blip here last month, although both Trapista and Creative Control could have a say too in an open handicap.

Four-time chase winner GETAWAY LUV gets the nod in the hope he can bounce back quickly from a below-par run here a fortnight ago.

(5) Boom Boom Boom 7/1, Dual Flat winner who has yet to taste success over hurdles but this shrewd Irish stable's British runners always need monitoring very closely in the betting.

LTO Selection:

16:10 Uttoxeter Handicap Hurdle (Class 2) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

A rise in class wasn't enough to stop SIMPLY RED from recording back-to-back successes at Bangor last time and Donald McCain's mare is fancied to defy a further 5lb hike to complete the hat-trick. Enthused has been largely consistent since the switch to hurdles and he looks the most likely threat, although Glorious Zoff represents the in-form Fergal O'Brien yard and must not be dismissed lightly.

ENTHUSED still looks fairly treated after a 5 lb rise for his C&D win a fortnight ago and is narrowly preferred to the hat-trick seeking Simply Red. Call Me Rocky has done well since joining Milton Harris and is another likely to be in the shake-up.

Recent C&D winner Enthused might still be improving but preference is for Summer Hurdle third GLORIOUS ZOFF.

Didn't show much over hurdles last year but his promising point debut in 2021 offers hope.
LTO Selection:

16:45 Uttoxeter Handicap Chase (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CAN'T BEAT HISTORY romped home at Market Rasen last month and a 7lb rise in unlikely to prevent Henry Oliver's unexposed chaser from following up. Sinister Minister continues to run well in defeat and must enter the reckoning. Talkingthetalk has failed to complete on her last two starts, but the addition of a first-time tongue-tie could spark a revival. Ya Know Yaseff would be a leading candidate if turned out quickly following Monday's Newton Abbot triumph.

It may pay to take a punt on VOKOLOHS, who showed little over hurdles but there are several different factors at play now handicapping over fences (runner-up in a point and also has headgear on upped in trip). Ya Know Yaseff is a massive danger if allowed to take her chance having won on Monday, with Can't Beat History also considered.

David Pipe's mare YA KNOW YASEFF is 2-2 in blinkers this month and, with only one penalty here, she might complete a quick hat-trick.

LTO Selection:

17:20 Uttoxeter Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Horizon D'or was able to take advantage of a lenient mark when pulling clear of his rivals at Fontwell and he's respected, despite a 10lb higher rating. Stiletto was sent off favourite on his handicap bow in June, in what looked an open heat, and he could take a step forward following a recent spin on the Flat. However, EATON LADY has cut a rejuvenated figure since being paired with Isabelle Ryder and she can go one better after hitting the woodwork at Worcester.

HORIZON D'OR has benefited from a move to a new yard and had plenty to spare at Fontwell earlier in the month, so he's the obvious choice to go in again. In-form pair Eaton Lady and Jack The Farmer also make appeal.

A much-improved performer since upped to staying trips for his new yard last month, HORIZON D'OR (nap) can complete a quick double.
