14:25 Salisbury Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Just half a length separated Orbital (winner) and Never Mind Me (second) at Chelmsford last time and they are likely to be closely matched again on revised terms, but a chance is taken on OTTOMAN FORCE. The son of Land Force is related to a few speedy types but has found sprint trips too sharp of late. He is edging down the weights and a step up to 7f could spark some improvement. Rothay Park is also noted.

Recent Chelmsford 1-2 ORBITAL and Never Mind Me look the pair to focus on, with Sir Mark Prescott's filly taken to confirm superiority on the revised terms. Rothay Park may prove best of the rest.

The rematch between Orbital and Never Mind Me could go either way. OTTOMAN FORCE looks a plausible alternative.

14:55 Salisbury Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TWILIGHT DANCER, a winner at Brighton on her penultimate start, was a little disappointing over the same course and distance off a 5lb raised mark last time. That effort did come in a higher grade, though, and Jonathan Portman's filly could resume her progress now eased in class. Beau Jardine likes it around here and he must be considered off a competitive rating, while others to note include Pumalin Park and Bantry.

A case can be made for a few of these but BEAU JARDINE goes really well here and arrives at the top of his game so edges the vote. Snuggle could emerge as the main danger on the back of his good recent Windsor second, although Sayifyouwill, Bantry, Pumalin Park and Twilight Dancer can all have a say too in a very open handicap.

The vote goes to SAYIFYOUWILL, who is 1-1 over C&D and returns here off a workable mark. Snuggle is second choice.

15:25 Salisbury Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Hello Cotai pulled hard on the way down to post at Nottingham a fortnight ago, so it was to his credit that he was able to claim the runner-up spot. Should he settle better, Adam West's charge will be a threat to all. However, the vote goes to NEVER DREAM, who made a winning handicap debut over 7f at Goodwood and looks set to improve for the step up to a mile. Beach Point heads the remainder.

BEACH POINT has shown improved form this season, only narrowly denied under a penalty at Lingfield on his latest outing, so he is taken to continue his good spell and resume winning ways. New Kings Road still looked in need of the experience when making a successful return and is feared most, ahead of Hello Cotai.

A few potential improvers here but BEACH POINT is building up a level of consistency and he looks the solid choice to take this.

16:00 Salisbury Stakes (Class 3) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

NEW CHARTER failed to fire in the Woodcote at Epsom a couple of weeks ago, but Richard Hannon's filly had shown plenty of promise on her debut at Newmarket and can be given another chance here. Her stablemate An Outlaw's Grace is a noteworthy newcomer having cost 80,000 pounds and he is a half-brother to the Listed-placed Thanks Monica. Aysgarth should not be discounted, while similar comments apply to El Madar.

Things didn't go to plan for NEW CHARTER when favourite for the Woodcote at Epsom so she is well worth another chance to confirm debut promise in what looks a much weaker affair. Aysgarth looks sure to improve on her Ascot debut and can follow the selection home.

Richard Hannon holds a strong hand with New Charter and AN OUTLAW'S GRACE. The latter is preferred, with Sean Levey on board.

16:30 Salisbury Stakes (Class 2) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

EJAABIYAH confirmed the promise that she displayed on debut when filling second place in a 1m2f Listed race at Newbury last month and the daughter of Frankel is hard to oppose on the back of that performance. Catch The Light took a step forward when a close third at Bath on her return to action and she edges out Song Of Appin to be best of the rest.

EJAABIYAH holds an entry in the Irish Oaks and rates as a standout contender back in a novice after her fine second in listed company last time. Catch The Light pulled clear of the remainder when a close third at Bath next time and should pose the biggest threat, with Fight For You perhaps open to the most significant improvement having not been seen to best effect on debut.

It's hard to get away from EJAABIYAH, who is back in calmer waters after her creditable second in a Listed race last month.

17:00 Salisbury Handicap (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

On The Cards failed to justify favouritism when he finished third in this grade at Brighton last time, but he sports first-time cheekpieces now which could eke out more. However, the vote goes to CHIPS AND RICE, who hit the crossbar at Lingfield last month and goes off an unchanged mark. James Fanshawe's five-year-old is well treated and can go one place better, while God Of Fire warrants a market check.

CROESO CYMRAEG is now into the veteran stage but he clearly retains plenty of ability judged on his latest midfield effort over further at Windsor 4 weeks ago. Back at the scene of each of his last 2 victories, he's been afforded a chance by the assessor and could be worth chancing in an open affair. Photon and Expert Witness are others to consider.

Preference is for the veteran CROESO CYMRAEG, who runs this track well and has slipped to a good mark after two respectable efforts.

17:30 Salisbury Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TARITINO recorded a double in fine style over 1m6f at Bath recently and he is only 7lb higher for that triumph. Joe Tickle's four-year-old should have no issues with his drop back in trip and he could prove very hard to beat. The main danger is Vin Rouge, who hit the frame in this grade over 1m6f here last time and should go well off the same mark, while Wilderness can also get involved on her return to turf.

FIDDLERS GREEN has already enjoyed a very productive season and having given another good account of himself in a better handicap than this at Goodwood last week, is marginally preferred to Taritino, who chases a hat-trick. Of the rest, Vin Rouge should give it another good go.

Most of these are out of sorts but TARITINO (nap) has returned to form since going up in distance. Vin Rouge looks the main danger.
