14:25 Ripon Handicap (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MR JETMAN boasts the most convincing profile based on recent form figurers and, with the promise of more to come on just his second start over this trip, there are solid foundations for the gelding to build on after a near miss over C&D 10 days ago. Poet's Dawn also has some respectable C&D efforts to his name and is noted, while Bearwith is weighted to go well if staging a revival.

Grant Tuer's MR JETMAN is less exposed than these and signalled he is ready to strike again when a C&D runner-up last time so gets the vote. C&D scorer Poet's Dawn is next on the list with handily-weighted Bearwith another to consider.

The lightly raced 4yo MR JETMAN has been in fine form this month following a long absence and can gain a deserved win.

14:55 Ripon Maiden (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

RESERVARDO, whose 6,000 euros price tag as a yearling shot up to 270,000 euros as a two-year-old breeze-up buy, impressed when just touched off in a maiden at Windsor 24 days ago. Runner-up on both previous starts, Zayer is the most obvious threat to the selection, although Kullazain and Another Abbot are interesting newcomers to bear in mind if either attract market support.

The Crisfords' RESERVARDO was unable to land the odds on his recent Windsor debut but still shaped well when runner-up and can take a sizeable step forward to go one better at the chief expense of Archie Watson's Zayer, who might have to settle for runner-up spot once more. Newcomer Another Abbot can't be ruled out either, especially if the market vibes are positive for William Haggas' Harry Angel colt.

An interesting race but ZAYER could be hard to beat with his latest Haydock form franked in a big way last week at York.

15:25 Ripon Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TEES AGGREGATES was successful on his nursery debut at Leicester 27 days ago and is competitively weighted in his bid to follow up off just 4lb higher. Fellow previous winner John's Dragon can also continue to pay her way in handicaps and is suggested as the chief threat to the selection with first-time cheekpieces a potential source of improvement. Nursery debutants Foro Romano and Brandywine Falls also enter calculations.

INVINCIBLE ANNICE didn't enjoy the rub of the green when fourth at Musselburgh last time and can capitalise on a 1 lb lower mark here. Recent Leicester scorer Tees Aggregates heads the list of dangers with in-form pair John's Dragon and Invincible Song also in the picture.

Ivan Furtado is in excellent form and FOCUS ON ZAAM gets the nod on his nursery debut. Invincible Annice is second choice.

16:00 Ripon Handicap (Class 4) 6f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

TWELFTH KNIGHT won this contest off a 6lb higher mark last term and hinted at a return to form when third over C&D last time. Paul Midgley's sprinter can edge this ahead of Another Baar, who scored at Doncaster before finishing second in a competitive handicap here. The veteran Muscika went agonisingly close at Epsom on his latest start and merits consideration, while Origintrail and Act Of Violence are others worthy of second glance.

Plenty are in with a shout. TWELFTH KNIGHT captured this prize 12 months ago and could be the way to go on the back of his good recent C&D third off a reduced mark. David O'Meara's Muscika arrives in excellent nick though and rates a big danger, while the likes of Another Barr, Rayat and Origintrail also command lots of respect.

Last year's runner-up Origintrail is respected but ANOTHER BAAR (nap) arrives in rude health and can post his third C&D win.

16:25 Ripon Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CODE PURPLE arrives in the best form having won two of his last three outings. He remains on a winning mark despite a 2lb rise for winning at Musselburgh on his latest start and looks worth sticking with. Makalu may well have finished closer than fourth here last time with clear run and rates a threat, while Lokana remains relatively unexposed and could go well off her current mark.

SUNNY ORANGE has slipped to a lenient mark and could be ready to take advantage on the back of his encouraging Beverley third last time out. Musselburgh scorer Code Purple rates the obvious danger with in-form duo Lokana and Mount King likely to be on the premises too.

Preference is for MAKALU, who has won four times this year so certainly knows how to get the job done.

17:00 Ripon Handicap (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Last year's winner Spantik was eased down at Beverley on his belated seasonal debut behind the runner-up Bamboo Bay. The latter is one to consider, along with Catterick winner Myboymax, but the vote goes to TAILORMAN. Ian Williams' four-year-old came up against the progressive Godsend when second at Pontefract latest and can go one better returning to this lower grade. The lightly-raced Greenlightforgo steps up in distance and there might be more to come from him.

GREENLIGHTFORGO won't need to improve much for the step up to 2m to come out on top here. It's interesting that Danny Tudhope is back on board last year's winner Spantik and he can leave his recent reappearance well behind and provide the chief threat ahead of Tailorman.

The in-form MYBOYMAX returned to winning ways at Catterick three weeks ago and is taken to follow up. Tailorman is a danger.
