14:05 Plumpton Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Global Esteem sets the standard with an official rating of 103 and must enter calculations, although he was a well-beaten third at Hereford when last seen in November. Alain came from well off the pace to reach the frame at Fakenham last month and he appeals as a leading contender. SOLUTION, however, a two-time winner on the Flat, was sent off as favourite for a warm York handicap when last seen and he looks a solid proposition now sent over timber.

GLOBAL ESTEEM still needs to conclusively prove his stamina for hurdling, yet he did show a definite aptitude for the job on 2 of his 3 starts late last year and could just be the way to go back from a break. Alain and hurdle-debutants Truth Will Out and Solution are others to consider.

The Moore-trained ALAIN was a promising third at Fakenham last month on his second start and can continue to progress.

14:40 Plumpton Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The form of ELIZA DOLITTLE's recent C&D third has worked out well so Nick Gifford's six-year-old, who has scope for further progress over staying trips, could shed her maiden tag off an unchanged mark. Sandy Brook continues to edge down the weights and he might appreciate a return to better ground, while Amalfi Skyline, who reverts to hurdles following a mixed spell over the larger obstacles, is another to consider.

ELIZA DOLITTLE showed more than previously upped in trip when third in a C&D handicap 6 weeks ago and she looks the most solid option in a trappy handicap. Sandy Brook may sharpen up for his Uttoxeter run 18 days ago, and along with Kapitaliste, heads up the dangers.

This could be a good opportunity for ELIZA DOLITTLE (nap) to get off the mark on the back of her C&D third last month.

15:15 Plumpton Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

TOOTHLESS, a runner-up on each of his three starts over fences so far, appears to have been found the ideal opportunity to go one better. Magistrato is another who has been knocking on the door and he holds obvious claims, along with Aviles, who posted his best chasing effort to date when filling the runner-up spot at Fakenham last month.

TOOTHLESS has been the bridesmaid on all 3 of his starts over fences but can go one better down in class. Last year's winner Small Bad Bob is feared most ahead of Aviles.

Still unexposed over fences, SMALL BAD BOB is taken to win this event for the second year running.

15:50 Plumpton Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MACARI is still of low mileage and, as he already has a course win to his name, returning to this venue is a major plus as he bids to exploit a potentially lenient rating on only his fourth handicap start. A C&D winner last May, Glance At Me rates the chief threat to the selection, although Andapa (second) was only three-quarters of a length behind her that day, so has to enter calculations returning with a first-time tongue-tie added.

MARTIN SPIRIT scored over C&D in March and got back on track chasing home a trio of unexposed rivals last time, so is fancied to resume winning ways ahead of last year's winner Glance At Me. Inigo hadn't been asked for an effort well falling on handicap debut and still appeals as one who could do better in this company.

It might pay to give another chance to MACARI, who pulled clear of the others with a dual subsequent winner here two starts ago.

16:25 Plumpton Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

The hat-trick seeking Yalla Habibi is a good starting point, as he is 2-2 for his current yard and looks capable of handling the 5lb rise imposed after his win at Kempton last month. However, this is a deeper race and there is an additional half a mile to tackle. With that in mind, it could be worth taking a chance on A TICKATICKATIMING, who was a respectable second to a progressive type over C&D in March and notably runs off 1lb lower here. Ilanz completes the shortlist.

YALLA HABIBI is two from two for Harriet Dickin and had something to spare at Kempton last time, so he's fancied to complete the hat-trick. A Tickatickatiming should give another good account and Ilanz can get involved if revived by his new yard.

Preference is for A TICKATICKATIMING, who ran well in defeat behind a major improver over C&D on her handicap debut in March.

17:00 Plumpton Handicap Chase (Class 4) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

This could prove a suitable opportunity for COPPERHEAD to get back on the scoresheet. Although Joe Tizzard's inmate has proved expensive to follow the last twice, the return to quicker ground conditions may prove fruitful. Jacamar failed to justify favouritism when only third of four on his stable bow at Ludlow last month, but the nine-year-old cannot be given up on yet, while Judge Earle could go very well if allowed a soft lead.

NORTHERN POET looked set to play a major role before seemingly stretched by the longer trip at Cheltenham last month so looks the way to go back down in distance/class. Copperhead looks the most solid alternative.

Preference is for BLADE RUNNER, who was pulled up at Cheltenham last month but has an excellent record here.

17:35 Plumpton NH Flat Race (Class 5) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Dance And Glance offered something to work with on his 10th-placed debut in a valuable bumper at Newbury in March. Anthony Honeyball's gelding is likely to prove more competitive in these calmer waters and he isn't taken lightly. However, EILEEN'S MILAN, a half-brother to Irish Grade 1-winning hurdler Farren Glory, boasts a smart pedigree. The son of Milan could take this en route to bigger things, while market support for fellow newcomer Moon Monarch would also be interesting.

EILEEN'S MILAN is related to a bumper winner and represents top connections, so he's worth chancing to make a successful debut at the possible expense of Dance And Glance, who offered some encouragement at Newbury first time out. Moon Monarch is another interesting debutant.

Having made an encouraging debut in the competitive sales bumper at Newbury in March, DANCE AND GLANCE is the pick today.
