1st (2) (3/1 +10%) Scarlet O'tara |
3/1(+10%) | (2) Scarlet O'tara 3/1, Improved again when returning from 6 months off to win a 19.5f Bangor maiden in June. Matched that form when second under a penalty at Worcester and sure to be in the thick of things again. Maiden winner who then pushed a good prospect close over this far at Worcester. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (4/1 -146%) Cabra Lady |
4/1(-146%) | (1) Cabra Lady 4/1, Placed in points and improved on debut form in a first-time hood when winning 14-runner bumper at Uttoxeter in July. Overcame inexperience when following up on hurdles debut here last month (2m) and on that evidence, this trip should be within range. Bumper/maiden winner and she's bred to approve of this longer distance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (2/1 +40%) Bishop Hill |
2/1(+40%) | (3) Bishop Hill 2/1, Fair hurdler who got fully back on track when second of 12 in novice hurdle at this C&D (good to firm) in July. Yet to be asked for effort when falling 3 out last month switched to a handicap and she can make her presence felt. 0-10 but she's been knocking on the door and was going well when falling last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (12/1 -71%) Golden Point |
12/1(-71%) | (5) Golden Point 12/1, From a good family and hit the frame all 3 starts in bumpers. That form only modest but she looked a work-in-progress and this trip will suit now hurdling. Ran to an ordinary level in her three bumpers, posting RPRs in the 80s. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (22/1 -300%) Mobile Mamma |
22/1(-300%) | (6) Mobile Mamma 22/1, €7,500 3-y-o, £32,000 5-y-o, first foal, dam, lightly raced over hurdles, half-sister to useful bumper/21f hurdle winner Way Back Then. Off mark in Irish points at third attempt in April Won her third point comfortably enough and later changed hands for £32,000. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Having supplemented her bumper victory at Uttoxeter when making a winning hurdles bow over 2m at this venue, the hat-trick seeking Cabra Lady warrants respect racing over 2m4f. However, BISHOP HILL receives 7lb from the daughter of Getaway and she may have her measure. Lucinda Russell's mare appeared to be travelling sweetly when falling at the third-last hurdle in a handicap over C&D last month and compensation could be on the cards reverting to novice company. Scarlet O'Tara can chase that pair home.
CABRA LADY supplemented her bumper win on hurdles debut here last month despite looking in need of the experience. With that in mind, she's taken to find the necessary improvement required to defy a penalty at the main expense of Scarlet O'Tara and Bishop Hill.
The 6yo SCARLET O'TARA pushed a good mare close at Worcester and that entitles her to the vote.

1st (5) (9/2 +31%) Autumn Return |
9/2(+31%) | (5) Autumn Return 9/2, Irish point/bumper winner who quickly developed into a most likeable hurdler, recording a fourth win in that sphere back against her own sex at Musselburgh (19.8f) last November. Rare below par effort at that venue on final outing and appeals as the type to make at least as good a chaser. Four-time hurdle winner and pointing background points to further progress as a chaser. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (5/4 +23%) Dripsey Moon |
5/4(+23%) | (1) Dripsey Moon 5/4, Winning hurdler who has taken well to chasing for new connections, showing useful form when landing back-to-back C&D handicaps in recent weeks. Has fitness on his side and looks up to completing the hat-trick. Sent straight chasing by Donald McCain and has finished first or second in all four starts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (11/4 +31%) Cadell |
11/4(+31%) | (4) Cadell 11/4, Mahler gelding who went unbeaten in points and impressed when making a winning hurdling bow at Kelso last October. Showed better form when second in 3m Musselburgh novice in February prior to proving a disappointment on handicap debut at Kelso when last seen. Very much the sort to make a chaser. Useful hurdler without being a natural jumper; fences could be the making of him. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (2) (9/2 -64%) Watergrange Jack |
9/2(-64%) | (2) Watergrange Jack 9/2, Racked up a handicap hurdle hat-trick at the end of last summer and jumped better than usual when off the mark over fences in 6-runner handicap at Worcester (20f) 10 days ago. This is tougher but warrants respect under a 7-lb penalty nonetheless. It was a very ordinary handicap by Class 2 standards that he won at Worcester. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
The progressive DRIPSEY MOON has clearly relished chasing judged on his recent double over C&D and a 2lb nudge up the ratings for his latest victory here looks more than workable. The seven-year-old is taken to complete the hat-trick at the main expense of penalised Worcester winner Watergrange Jack. Neil Mulholland has his string in good order at present and a 7lb penalty is unlikely to prevent another bold bid. Point-to-point winner Whistle Stop Tour is also interesting on his chasing bow.
DRIPSEY MOON has taken extremely well to chasing and a 2 lb rise for his latest his win may not be enough to prevent the hat-trick, especially with fitness on his side. The Lucinda Russell-trained pair Cadell and Whistle Stop Tour both strike as the types to make better chasers and warrant close market scrutiny.
Dripsey Moon is hard to knock but CADELL is well-in with the topweight on a previous clash over hurdles.

1st (2) (13/2 +19%) Peejaybee |
13/2(+19%) | (2) Peejaybee 13/2, Successful 3 times over hurdles and opened his account in this sphere for current yard at Doncaster (3m) in March. Has remained in form since, visored when fourth of 11 at Ffos Las (28f, good) 134 days ago. Shortlisted. This year's form has been mixed but he won off today's mark in March. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (5/2 +38%) Post No Bills |
5/2(+38%) | (7) Post No Bills 5/2, A three-time winner last season but yet to scale same heights this time around despite an easing mark, cheekpieces on when seventh of 10 in handicap chase at Market Rasen 40 days ago. Others appeal more. Engaged Perth 3.38 Wednesday. Had been out of form but dropped to a dangerous mark and took second over C&D yesterday. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (12/1 +0%) Step Above |
12/1(+0%) | (4) Step Above 12/1, Winning Irish pointer/hurdler but he failed to progress over fences last term. Needs to bounce back after a lay-off. Up and down last season but reappears having had wind surgery and is on a competitive mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (2/1 +50%) Mr Mackay |
2/1(+50%) | (5) Mr Mackay 2/1, Fairly useful winning hurdler who make a promising start over fences after 5 months off when third of 9 in handicap at Bangor (17.4f, good) 20 days ago, fading late on. Leading claims off the same mark. Third on recent chase/seasonal debut; high on the list after that promising start. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (9/1 -300%) Chapel Green |
9/1(-300%) | (3) Chapel Green 9/1, Got right back on track under more forceful tactics when readily making all in 7-runner handicap chase at Kelso (21.6f, good to soft) in May. Off since but he still needs considering despite an 8 lb weights hike. Inconsistent but won in good style at Kelso in May when last seen. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (9/1 +44%) Cardamon Hill |
9/1(+44%) | (6) Cardamon Hill 9/1, Course winner in June but he came in last of 7 in handicap chase at Cartmel (25.5f, soft) 66 days ago. Back down in trip with more required. Disappointing at Cartmel last time but in really good form here previously. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (1) (9/1 -157%) Give Me A Moment |
9/1(-157%) | (1) Give Me A Moment 9/1, Useful chaser at best but struggled for consistency last term. Had a wind op before resurgent second of 7 in handicap chase at Uttoxeter (16f, good) 62 days ago. Needs to back it up now. Returned to form with close second at Uttoxeter in July, following wind surgery. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
CHAPEL GREEN relished the step up in distance when landing the spoils at Kelso in May and there should be more to come this season. Although the handicapper has reacted with an 8lb rise for the Dylan Thomas gelding, he looks capable of following up. The Peter & Michael Bowen-trained runners always warrant respect given their fine strike-rate at this venue and their representative Peejaybee shouldn't be underestimated dropping in distance. Mr Mackay and Give Me A Moment aren't easily dismissed either.
MR MACKAY shaped well when a debut chasing third at Bangor and looks the way to go with improvement very much on the cards. Kelso-scorer Chapel Green appeals as the main threat to Nigel Twiston-Davies' 5-y-o ahead of Peejaybee and Give Me A Moment.
The return to Perth is a positive for CARDAMON HILLS and he earns the vote ahead of the 5yo Mr Mackay.

1st (1) (3/1 +25%) Building Bridges |
3/1(+25%) | (1) Building Bridges 3/1, Scored on Flat at Bellewstown in July before posting a good sixth of 18 in handicap hurdle at Galway (22.5f, soft) 54 days ago, making his effort earlier than ideal. Weighted to go well. Excellent sixth of 18 at the Galway festival and this is easier than that Listed race. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (5/2 +25%) Idem |
5/2(+25%) | (3) Idem 5/2, Posted a career best when readily bagging 15-runner handicap hurdle at Kelso (22.7f, good) in April. Up 6 lb but he can't be discounted after a break. Progressive hurdler who won his handicap last time with a bit in hand; 6lb higher. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (9/2 -80%) City Derby |
9/2(-80%) | (5) City Derby 9/2, Completed his four-timer in 8-runner handicap hurdle at Cartmel (25.4f, soft) 33 days ago. Cheekpieces back on now so this course winner is not taken lightly despite a 8 lb weights hike. On fire at Cartmel but an 8lb higher mark at a different track might just find him out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (7/2 +30%) La Renommee |
7/2(+30%) | (2) La Renommee 7/2, Got back to winning ways in 9-runner handicap chase at Cheltenham (25.2f, good) 161 days ago, travelling strongly. Has her first run over hurdles since 2022 but no forlorn hope on her return. Won first time back last season and well handicapped on this return to hurdling. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (17/2 +15%) Caius Marcius |
17/2(+15%) | (4) Caius Marcius 17/2, Admirable veteran is a five-time course winner and he shaped as if still in need of the run when sixth of 9 in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (23.3f, good to firm) 60 days ago. Not without interest off a 2 lb lower mark. Multiple winner but signs are that age is catching up having been well held this season. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (18/1 -50%) Coventry |
18/1(-50%) | (7) Coventry 18/1, It's now 16 runs since his last win in 2021 and he came in a below-form ninth in handicap hurdle at Galway (21.9f, heavy) when last seen out 11 months ago for Peter Fahey. Needs to hit the ground running for his new handler. Started out on the Flat and only 1-27; regressed in Ireland and has had nearly a year off. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
City Derby has been in excellent form during the summer months, winning four on the bounce at Cartmel with the latest of those arguably a career-best performance. However, a further 8lb rise might be enough to stop his progression and the vote goes to IDEM. The six-year-old won at Kelso when last seen in May and appears capable of further improvement on his seventh outing over timber. La Renommee displayed some useful form against her own sex over fences last term and she has to be a threat now rated 7lb lower in this sphere.
An open handicap but Irish challenger BUILDING BRIDGES shaped well when sixth in a big-field handicap at Galway last time and he gets the vote off the same mark here. City Derby rates the obvious threat in his bid for a five-timer, with Caius Marcius and Idem also well in the mix.
Irish raider BUILDING BRIDGES (nap) moved well for a long way when sixth at the Galway festival and that was a deep race.

1st (9) (5/2 +55%) Heart Above |
5/2(+55%) | (9) Heart Above 5/2, Yet to get close to his fairly useful bumper form but posted another creditable display when third at Kelso (18f) 8 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Ease back in trip can help on that evidence and he has a race in him from this sort of mark. Only third last time despite looking a likely winner late on; now 0-12. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (8) (11/1 -57%) Grifter |
11/1(-57%) | (8) Grifter 11/1, Regressive on the Flat but he did at least shape with a bit more promise than previously in this sphere when third of 12 in handicap hurdle at Bangor (16.7f) 3 weeks ago, that despite not impressing with his jumping. Task is to build on that now. Low mileage over jumps and was an 8l third at Bangor recently, keeping on. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (4/1 -33%) Winds Of Winter |
4/1(-33%) | (3) Winds Of Winter 4/1, More encouragement since switched to handicaps, including on yard debut when second of 11 in handicap hurdle at this course (20.2f, good to soft) 17 days ago, no match for one who had fallen a long way in weights. Respected with Brian Hughes again in the plate. 0-6 in Ireland but ran a positive first race for this yard over 2m4f here, finishing 2nd. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (25/1 -213%) Chancer Dancer |
25/1(-213%) | (1) Chancer Dancer 25/1, Maiden who did go close on occasions last year but she's yet to fire in a trio of starts since returning to action in May, well held seventh of 10 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (17.8f) 46 days ago. 0-14 and not shown much in three runs since a third last September. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (9/1 -29%) Purple Gown |
9/1(-29%) | (2) Purple Gown 9/1, Fair Flat winner who showed some promise over hurdles around the turn of the year. Arrives fit and in form from the level, runner-up at Musselburgh (14f) in August. No great surprise to see her get involved returned to this sphere. Beaten only 4l in final handicap over hurdles and has been running well on the Flat. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (5/2 +0%) Call Blue |
5/2(+0%) | (4) Call Blue 5/2, Remains a maiden but she's returned from a lengthy absence in good order, second of 5 in handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot (16.8f, soft) 17 days ago, possible she'd of come out on top but for late errors. Has good chance on form. Back from a long absence with two seconds and a late mistake proved costly last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (12) (20/1 +20%) National Question |
20/1(+20%) | (12) National Question 20/1, Offered little in handful of starts earlier this year but did manage success in classified company on Flat at Musselburgh (12.5f) in July. Mixed bag in that sphere subsequently though and others more persuasive returned to hurdling/from out of the weights. Flat winner but nothing so far over hurdles, including a handicap. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (14/1 +13%) Burgundy Man |
14/1(+13%) | (5) Burgundy Man 14/1, Fair hurdler who hasn't really fired back from a long absence this season, no real upturn on the back of a breathing operation when sixth of 10 in handicap hurdle (11/2) at this course (20.2f) 17 days ago. Others make greater appeal. 12-race maiden on his fourth trainer; beaten nearly 20l over 2m4f here recently. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (7) (28/1 -40%) Brora Breeze |
28/1(-40%) | (7) Brora Breeze 28/1, Fair 1¼m winner on Flat for Andrew Balding. Looked a work-in-progress in juvenile/maiden hurdles and whilst switch to handicaps rates a plus, he hasn't been pulling up any trees on the level in recent weeks. Market can prove useful as one of 3 runners from this yard. 1m2f winner last year but well held since then under both codes. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (11) (66/1 -65%) Solway Staree |
66/1(-65%) | (11) Solway Staree 66/1, Poor form in 5 starts over hurdles last summer, tailed off 3 out when pulled up in handicap hurdle at this course (20.2f, heavy) 12 months ago. Much more needed on return to action. Eight-race maiden who has offered little in her three handicaps and she's hard to warm to. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (10) (20/1 +20%) High Yield |
20/1(+20%) | (10) High Yield 20/1, Ran with credit on a couple of occasions at Market Rasen but not threatened in a couple of starts at that venue upon returning this summer. Eased further in weights but passed over in any case. Beaten about 15l in 2m/2m4f handicaps on either side of wind surgery; has to step up. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (6) (80/1 -300%) Bingo Little |
80/1(-300%) | (6) Bingo Little 80/1, Proved easy to back and was well held on yard/handicap debut at Uttoxeter (15.7f) in July and again finished well held when last of 13 in handicap at Worcester (23f) later that month. Takes a marked step back in trip following 70 days off. Cheekpieces go on. Didn't show much for Ben Pauling last season and no better in handicaps for current yard. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
CALL BLUE has finished second on both outings so far this season and Nigel Twiston-Davies' mare appears to have been found the ideal opportunity to get her head in front for the first time. Heart Above is expected to appreciate the drop back to 2m and can play a leading role in proceedings. Winds Of Winter ran well on her first start for Iain Jardine when runner-up over 2m4f here and the six-year-old appeals most of the remainder.
CALL BLUE remains a maiden yet she may of bucked that trend but for some late errors when runner-up at Newton Abbot 17 days ago and this could be the day she puts it all together and comes out on top. Purple Gown could yet have more to offer in this sphere and she's a danger. Winds of Winter and Heart Above complete the dangers.
Although back in distance today, WINDS OF WINTER ran a nice first race for her new yard here recently and Brian Hughes rides again.

Visor back on. Shortlist material. Kept on for fair fourth at Market Rasen on latest hurdle start and she's one to consider. |

Size Five |
(7) (5/2 +50%)5/2(+50%) | (7) Size Five 5/2, Lightly-raced maiden who hasn't been seen since posting encouraging sixth of 16 on handicap debut at Down Royal (17f, soft) 21 months ago. Upped significantly in trip on return and is worth monitoring in market. Returns from absence but lightly raced and the step up in trip could prove a big plus. |

Walk On Quest |
(4) (9/2 -29%)9/2(-29%) | (4) Walk On Quest 9/2, 100,000 buy after finishing runner-up in an Irish point and shaped encouragingly when filling same spot in a Kelso maiden hurdle on Rules debut last December. Not in same form either start since but could prove a different proposition now upped in trip on switch to handicapping. 3m point runner-up who could relish the step up in trip on handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Reagrove Lord |
(8) (6/1 -33%)6/1(-33%) | (8) Reagrove Lord 6/1, Still looking for first success but has made the frame in a couple of similar handicaps this season and should give another good account. Cheekpieces on first time. Fair thirds over C&D the last twice and might be the type to benefit from the cheekpieces. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Cusack Park |
(3) (8/1 -78%)8/1(-78%) | (3) Cusack Park 8/1, Placed on the first of 2 starts in bumpers and made the frame in both outings over timber, latest when respectable fourth of 10 in novice at Market Rasen (20.6f, good to firm) last month. Cheekpieces added for handicap debut and could be a player. Handicap newcomer who has shown staying potential over 2m/2m4f on both hurdle starts. |

Petrastar |
(1) (12/1 +0%)12/1(+0%) | (1) Petrastar 12/1, Course winner over fences last summer but largely disappointed since, including when last home in handicap hurdle at Market Rasen latest. Makes limited appeal. Three-time course winner but he's had a substandard year; others preferred. |

Ithaka |
(6) (28/1 -155%)28/1(-155%) | (6) Ithaka 28/1, Justified strong support in a Wincanton handicap (21.4f) in March last year but largely well below that level since and finished well held at Ffos Las when last seen in May. Others more appealing. Engaged 4.45 Perth Wednesday. Mostly well beaten since landing gamble in March 2023; weakened badly here yesterday. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Norse Reiver |
(9) (50/1 -100%)50/1(-100%) | (9) Norse Reiver 50/1, Showed little in a brace of bumpers and beaten a long way all 3 starts in novice hurdles. Best watched on handicap debut from 3 lb out of the weights. Makes handicap debut off a lowly mark but hasn't shown much thus far. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
CUSACK PARK has run with credit on both outings over hurdles so far and the five-year-old is expected to step forward on his handicap debut with the extra distance likely to aid his cause. Connections also opt for first-time cheekpieces, which further enhances his credentials, with similar comments potentially applying to Reagrove Lord after hitting the frame twice over C&D. Belle Of Annandale and Walk On Quest can fight it out for third.
Preference is for BELLE OF ANNANDALE, who left the impression she was worth another crack at this sort of trip when fourth at Market Rasen last month and has the assistance of Brian Hughes. Walk On Quest is low mileage and could prove dangerous on handicap debut, whilst Reagrove Lord can also make his presence felt.
A chance is taken on the fitness of SIZE FIVE, who has been absent since December 2022 but is bred to appreciate today's longer trip.

Won at Cartmel on second handicap start and firmly in calculations up 6lb. |

Western Glen |
(7) (10/3 +17%)10/3(+17%) | (7) Western Glen 10/3, Back to form when third of 15 over C&D (good) last month and backed that effort up when runner-up over C&D (good to soft) earlier this month, just no match for a rejuvenated rival. No surprise to see her on the premises again. 13-race maiden but placed over C&D the last twice and can give another good account. |

Midnight Gold |
(3) (7/2 +13%)7/2(+13%) | (3) Midnight Gold 7/2, Confirmed more positive signs when easily winning 8-runner mares' handicap at Southwell (20.4f) last summer. Returned with a good second at Warwick in May but hung left throughout and well beaten at Fontwell later that month. Off since but appeals as the type to bounce back. Flopped in May when last seen but good second three weeks earlier when back from absence. |

Nastasiya |
(8) (9/2 +36%)9/2(+36%) | (8) Nastasiya 9/2, Remains without a win but she was knocking on the door for Rebecca Menzies and has shaped like a stayer on both starts over hurdles for current connections. This extra yardage should be right up her street so it would be folly to discount. Remains a maiden but has shaped as though she'll be well suited by this first crack at 3m. |

Indian Sunbird |
(6) (10/1 +0%)10/1(+0%) | (6) Indian Sunbird 10/1, Worcester winner in July, then ran well again when runner-up over same C&D later that month. However, he was below form back there (23f, good) just over a fortnight ago and is probably too high in the handicap for now. In good form at Worcester in July but well beaten there a fortnight ago. |

(4) (14/1 +0%)14/1(+0%) | (4) Pure Sirloin 14/1, Made a winning handicap debut at Navan in January 2023 but hasn't progressed as hoped since. Offered little on first start for new yard at Kelso in May but stepped up on that when fourth of 10 at Hexham (23.3f, good to soft) the following month. Dropped another 5 lb ahead of this return. Fair fourth at Hexham on second start for yard and has each-way possibilities. |

(9) (125/1 -279%)125/1(-279%) | (9) Bilboa River 125/1, Limited hurdler who unseated back over fences at Kelso when last seen 16 months ago. 7 lb out of the weights and he looks an easy swerve. Absent since May 2023 and this maiden is probably best watched on his return to action. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Having appreciated the rise in distance when scoring over an extended 3m1f at Cartmel last month, Skyjack Hijack is likely to prove popular in his follow-up bid. A 6lb higher rating is unlikely to prevent the six-year-old from going close again, but WESTERN GLEN edges the vote. Gillian Boanas' mare has posted two creditable efforts over track and trip of late and a reproduction of her latest second here off an unchanged mark may see her get off the mark. Midnight Gold could also have a say up in trip.
Cases can be made for plenty of these, and it could pay to take a chance on the returning MIDNIGHT GOLD, who was well beaten when sent off favourite at Fontwell back in May but appeals as the type to bounce back for her in-form yard. Second choice is Skyjack Highjack, who opened his account at Cartmel last month and continues to go from strength to strength. Western Glen can edge out Nastasiya for third spot.
The mare MIDNIGHT GOLD goes well fresh and kept on well for second over 2m5f at Warwick in May. She is the selection.

Drumlee Myth |
(2) (5/6 +44%)5/6(+44%) | (2) Drumlee Myth 5/6, Every chance when fell last sole start in Irish points and it's been a positive start in this sphere, runner-up at Hexham in June prior to a good third in 14-runner contest at Wexford (16.7f) a month later. Well worthy of respect. Placed in both his bumpers and should have every chance of making the breakthrough. |

Peace Motivator |
(1) (3/1 -60%)3/1(-60%) | (1) Peace Motivator 3/1, £10,000 3-y-o, Massaat gelding. Overcame inexperience to make a winning debut in 5-runner bumper at Worcester (2m) 25 days ago, leading final 50 yds and running on. In good hands and he's respected under a penalty. Narrow winner of a good-ground bumper at Worcester and the third has won since. |

Kashchei |
(3) (9/2 +31%)9/2(+31%) | (3) Kashchei 9/2, £10,000 3-y-o, Telescope gelding. 15/2, offered something to work on when third of 9 in bumper at Southwell (15.8f) on debut back in May, fading final 1f. Can do better with that under his belt but others rate stronger for win purposes. Momentarily threatened before weakening into a 13l third of nine at Southwell. |

Hay Meadow |
(5) (17/2 -143%)17/2(-143%) | (5) Hay Meadow 17/2, £42,000 4-y-o, Wings of Eagles filly. Half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/fair chaser Clash of D Titans. Off mark in Irish points at second attempt (Mar 17). In good hands and she'd be of interest if the market spoke in her favour on bumper debut. Bought for £42,000 after narrowly winning a small-field point on heavy in Ireland. |

Cloudsareclearing |
(4) (50/1 -52%)50/1(-52%) | (4) Cloudsareclearing 50/1, Scorpion filly. Dam (h92), lightly raced in bumpers/over hurdles, half-sister to bumper winner/fairly useful hurdle winner (stayed 25f) but who was ungenuine Spider's Bite. Likely best watched on debut. Out of a winning pointer; stable 0-35 in bumpers recent seasons. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
DRUMLEE MYTH has hit the frame on both bumper outings to date and he looks the one to side with. Sean McParlan's gelding arrives on the back of a fine third at Wexford and he can make the most of the weight received from penalised winner Peace Motivator. The four-year-old was value for further when making a winning racecourse debut at Worcester at the start of this month and he isn't taken lightly. Market support for point-to-point winner Hay Meadow would be interesting.
Irish-raider DRUMLEE MYTH showed enough in 2 starts this summer to think a race of this nature is well within reach and he could well be the way to go. Debutant-winner Peace Motivator rates the chief danger, ahead of pint-scorer Hay Meadow.
Peace Motivator might do well to defy a penalty against DRUMLEE MYTH who has posted superior Topspeed and RPR figures.
Ths is the racecard key.
