The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
CRADLE OF LOVE has been keeping very good company since being placed at this track in May and at Listowel in June. Although she didn't trouble the judge in Group races, she should relish dropping back into maiden company. Majestic Wave has finished runner-up on his last couple of starts and his best performance came over a similar trip at Naas when beaten half a length by a horse that has franked the form since then. Michael O'Callaghan's Its All Peachy is likely to improve from her sixth at Leopardstown and fifth in Punchestown. Amavasya kept on for seventh on debut at the Curragh last month which was a promising debut, while newcomer Just Jump is related to plenty of winners.
A huge field to kick off proceedings and its MAJESTIC WAVE who is selected to go a place better than on his last couple of starts returned to sprinting at the expense of Its All Peachy, who has shown promise on both outings and remains open to improvement. Cradle of Love, debutante Boogie Inthejungle and Chester Nimitz are just a handful of others to consider, too.
Below best on soft last time, MAJESTIC WAVE looks the one to beat on his run in a really strong Naas maiden before that

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (6) (8/1 -45%) Yaxchilan |
8/1(-45%) | (6) Yaxchilan 8/1, Lightly-raced gelding. Blinkered for 1st time, good seventh of 15 in maiden at Gowran (7f, good to soft, 14/1) 36 days ago. Not dismissed. Encouraging C&D debut in July but hasn't progressed, blinkers tried last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (4) (50/1 -317%) Shelbourne Flyer |
50/1(-317%) | (4) Shelbourne Flyer 50/1, Twice-raced gelding. Fourth of 7 in maiden at Down Royal (7.1f, soft, 50/1) 9 days ago. Others make more appeal. Something to take from both recent runs in Down Royal maidens; stiff 6f here should suit. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (7) (250/1 -67%) Decorated Princess |
250/1(-67%) | (7) Decorated Princess 250/1, Thrice-raced filly. Tongue strap on for 1st time, last of 18 in maiden at the Curragh (10f, good to soft, 150/1) 10 days ago. Significantly down in trip. Blinkered for 1st time. Nothing in three maidens; blinkers now added to tongue-tie worn last time. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
SWEET THING showed plenty on debut at Down Royal when beaten half a length into second. She was nicely clear of the third home and that run confirmed her ability to handle rain-softened ground. Camachero's keeping-on fourth in a Curragh maiden reads well in the context of this race. Lanzerac was backed for her debut in Cork, but was eased and her jockey reported that she didn't let herself down on the ground. There should be much more to come from her. Lady Fox is now with her third trainer, but has a notable runner-up berth at this track last year. Platino Bianco and Ukiyo are others with a shot at prize money.
SWEET THING sets the standard based on her promising start at Down Royal 9 days ago and, with improvement on the cards, she takes preference over Yaxchilan, who should find this a bit easier than the race he contested at Gowran last time. Camachero may well be on the premises, too.
A modest enough late-season maiden in which SWEET THING could take the beating after an encouraging Down Royal debut

11/4(-83%) | (1) Zambales 11/4, Lightly-raced maiden. Seventh of 10 in maiden at this course (5f, good, 9/2) 18 days ago. Makes handicap debut. On a decent mark on pick of form. Hasn't looked progressive in maidens; tame effort here last time over 5f raises questions. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (8/1 +20%) Unique Journey |
8/1(+20%) | (7) Unique Journey 8/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 150/1, tenth of 18 in maiden at the Curragh (6f, good to soft) 11 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Makes handicap debut. Should improve but needs to. Cheekpieces on here for handicap debut and stiff enough task at the weights. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (4/1 +20%) Adrenaline Rush |
4/1(+20%) | (4) Adrenaline Rush 4/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Fourth of 7 in nursery (5/1) at Fairyhouse (6f, good) 16 days ago. Merits consideration. Good maiden form here but needs to improve on recent handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (20/1 -25%) Clever And Classy |
20/1(-25%) | (8) Clever And Classy 20/1, Thrice-raced maiden. Last of 9 in maiden (33/1) at Tipperary (7.1f, soft), slowly away. Off 133 days. Makes handicap debut. Must find best form. Three runs in the spring weren't progressive; back from summer off and hard to fancy. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Recent Down Royal third BARTON KEY should appreciate stepping back up in trip. Having been outpaced early on, the Joseph O'Brien-trained colt stayed on strongly inside the final furlong to reach the frame. Although a high draw would have been preferable on the sprint track here, the small field makes it less important. Wish This shaped with plenty of encouragement when staying on to finish fifth at Naas last time. Making his first start in handicap company, the Jennifer Lynch-trained gelding should find this easier. Adrenaline Rush, who showed up for a long way at Fairyhouse before weakening into fourth, is also worthy of consideration. Shane Foley is almost certain to be prominent from his high draw in stall nine.
ZAMBALES disappointed here last time but his mark is a decent one on the pick of his form so is worth another chance. Barton Key is next best ahead of Adrenaline Rush.
An eyecatcher at Down Royal recently, BARTON KEY (nap) should relish this slightly longer trip and stiff finish so gets a confident vote

Player with few miles still on the clock. Not a clear run behind Lismacbryan at the Curragh (6f) 4 days ago; could reverse that form. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Saturday's shock 40/1 Curragh winner LISMACBRYAN might be able to reverse Bellewstown form with Art Of Unity. Although the pair meet on identical terms, the Patrick Magee-trained three-year-old is a lightly raced gelding with more scope for improvement. Stepping up in trip is also likely to suit him that bit better than his recent conqueror. Muredach Kelly's Art Of Unity has never won beyond 5f but the nine-year-old could be capable of doing so at this stage of his career. Usually a trail blazer, the veteran settled much better under this jockey when taking a lead last time. If able to replicate that ride, his young apprentice has every chance of another success. Shoebox King would arguably prefer further but the race should be set up nicely for a closer.
ROSATO didn't enjoy the rub of the green when fifth in a big-field Curragh handicap last time and is fancied to get off the mark here at the chief expense of handily-weighted duo Shoebox King and Downforce. Recent scorers Lismacbryan and Art of Unity can both have a say too under their penalties.
An eyecatcher when running on behind Lismacbryan after a troubled passage at the Curragh four days ago, ROSATO can make amends.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
A beaten favourite at Ascot last month, ISAMBARD BRUNEL can recover losses. The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt has yet to race in this country, having made his debut when fifth at Newbury in August. A Futurity Trophy Stakes entrant, the son of Justify is clearly a strong stayer, a trait that will suit on this stiff track. Stablemate Light As Air, who also holds an entry in that aforementioned Doncaster race, is a definite contender on racecourse debut. The Wootton Bassett colt wouldn't have to be anything out of the ordinary to strike first time out in a race where those with previous form appear vulnerable. Red King, who finished fifth at Gowran on his introduction, should be all the better for that initial outing.
ISAMBARD BRUNEL found the drop to 7f against him at Ascot and back at 1m, he's fancied to get it right this time. Red King's debut was full of promise so he commands respect, along with well-bred newcomer Light As Air, a stablemate of the selection.
Isambard Brunel has the benefit of two runs but a chance is taken on his beautifully-bred stablemate LIGHT AS AIR to trump him.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
SHAVASI has won twice on a sound surface and had plenty to spare over a furlong further at Punchestown last time. The runner-up franked that form recently and the lightly-raced daughter of Muhaarar can defy a 9lb higher mark. Joseph O'Brien also runs Vasda who was Listed-placed when trained in France and showed more on her second run back from a break at Tipperary. She turns out again quickly but would prefer softer ground. Quadruple had been progressive prior to a disappointing effort when favourite for a valuable contest at Leopardstown and may be capable of bouncing back while Golden Ocean won a C&D maiden on good ground last time and is open to plenty of improvement.
SHAVASI cranked it up another notch when a decisive scorer at Punchestown 3 weeks ago and on that evidence, her revised mark may well be within her compass. Tachos is the type to benefit from headgear so she's a threat, along with Golden Ocean.
Any rain that falls will be welcoming for VASDA who ran her best race yet for Joseph O'Brien at Tipperary on Sunday.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
PLUNKETT STREET got off the mark when beating an in-form rival over C&D last month and may be able to defy a 6lb higher mark. Michael O'Meara's six-year-old has improved for the recent application of headgear and goes well on a sound surface. Gotta Catch'em All showed more when stepping back up in trip at Bellewstown where he was runner-up over 1m4f. Coming back a couple of furlongs may not be ideal but the stiff nature of this track will help. Calzaghi showed promise over 7f at Tipperary in May but has been off since and will have to prove his stamina while Special Angel was game from the front when winning over 1m1f on her penultimate start.
GOTTA CATCH'EM ALL ran well off his reduced mark when a back-to-form second at Bellewstown last week and tops the shortlist ahead of Plunkett Street and Calzaghi.
A 6lb rise isn't the end of the world for recent C&D winner PLUNKETT STREET who has run well off this mark in the past.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
POSITIVE ENERGY made late headway from off the pace to finish third over a mile at Killarney in July and it was a similar story at Galway last month where he met some traffic early in the straight. The Make Believe gelding looks worth a shot at this longer trip and is down in grade as well. Step To Somewhere was disappointing on the all-weather last time but had gone close on handicap debut at Clonmel and is now tried in different headgear. Thefullbackline, back to form at Down Royal recently, has been placed over much further and should be coming home well up the hill while Forlio has been running creditably of late but would prefer softer ground.
POSITIVE ENERGY took a step back in the right direction and would have given the first two more to think about with a clear run at Galway last time, so he's preferred to Forlio in a race where the bulk of the field have something to prove.
Colin Keane is the only jockey to have won aboard FORLIO who was given too much to do when favourite at the Curragh last time.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
