1st (3) (2.25/1 +0%) Chicago Critic |
2.25/1(+0%) | (3) Chicago Critic 2.25/1, 25/1, produced a promising first effort when third of 9 in maiden at this course (7f, good to soft) on debut 30 days ago. Seems bound to appreciate this extra distance so should be bang there. Finished to good effect when third over 7f here last month, extra furlong should suit well. |

2nd (7) (1.25/1 +50%) Gallantly |
1.25/1(+50%) | (7) Gallantly 1.25/1, Failed to meet expectations having been heavily backed when seventh of 9 in maiden at this course (7f, good to soft, 8/11) on debut 30 days ago. Clearly thought capable of better and worth another chance. Proved a big disappointment on debut and now has to reverse from with Chicago Critic. |

3rd (2) (8/1 -23%) Chemistry |
8/1(-23%) | (2) Chemistry 8/1, Foaled April 24. Kingman colt. Half-brother to 3 winners, including smart winner up to 15f Joie de Soir and useful 1¼m winner Villa d'Amore, both in France. Dam unraced. Blinkered for debut. Half-brother to three Andre Fabre-trained winners, apparent second-string for stable. |

4th (11) (12/1 +0%) Salah Al Deen |
12/1(+0%) | (11) Salah Al Deen 12/1, 8/1 and tongue strap on, twelfth of 19 in maiden at the Curragh (8f, heavy) on debut 20 days ago, slowly away. Little impression when 8-1 on debut at the Curragh, should do better but others preferred. |

5th (1) (20/1 -150%) Best Law |
20/1(-150%) | (1) Best Law 20/1, Hinted at ability when sixth of 12 in maiden (8/1) at Navan (8f, soft) on debut 10 days ago. Should have more to offer. Likely to be capable of improvement from a respectable debut when stable's second-string. |

6th (6) (17/2 +47%) Fine Print |
17/2(+47%) | (6) Fine Print 17/2, Tongue strap on, shaped as if in need of the experience when eighth of 16 in maiden at the Curragh (9f, soft, 14/1) on debut 7 days ago. Looks yard second string on jockey bookings. Began to stay on late on debut at the Curragh last Saturday, Colin Keane on Best Law. |

7th (13) (25/1 -56%) Total Look |
25/1(-56%) | (13) Total Look 25/1, Foaled March 17. €20,000 foal, €35,000 yearling, Cloth of Stars gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including French 10.5f-1½m winner Cats On Trees. Dam French 1½m/12.5f winner. Pedigree points to a possibility that he could prosper over middle distances in due course. |

8th (4) (50/1 -100%) Dont Do Dramas |
50/1(-100%) | (4) Dont Do Dramas 50/1, Thrice-raced gelding. 250/1, showed more than previously after 4 months off when seventh of 12 in maiden at Navan (8f, soft) 10 days ago. Some improvement at Navan on first run after being gelded, a lot more required. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (10) (100/1 +0%) Private Officer |
100/1(+0%) | (10) Private Officer 100/1, Offered little when fifteenth of 19 in maiden at the Curragh (8f, heavy, 50/1) on debut 20 days ago. 50-1 when slowly away and never seriously involved first time out in 7f Curragh maiden. |

100/1(-100%) | (5) Fearless Tom 100/1, Foaled April 2. Dick Whittington colt. Dam unraced. A senior rider aboard but does not have the pedigree profile of a likely juvenile winner. |

50/1(-25%) | (8) Granite Bay 50/1, Foaled February 23. 28,000 gns foal, Time Test gelding. Dam 11f-12.3f winner. Dam was a useful middle-distance handicapper, may need time and experience. |

12th (12) (33/1 -32%) Sound Move |
33/1(-32%) | (12) Sound Move 33/1, Went with little promise when last of 9 in maiden at Tipperary (9f, heavy, 12/1) on debut 13 days ago. Tipperary debut on yielding-to-soft looked too bad to be true, best watched for now. |

CHICAGO CRITIC shaped nicely on his debut here last month and can step forward to open his account now. The Night Of Thunder colt stayed on to finish third to Bluedrum in a newcomers race over seven and going another furlong looks like it can only help. All eyes were on Gallantly in that race last month but he disappointed when finishing only seventh. The Frankel colt may be capable of improving off that run and it would be no surprise if he was a lot closer now. Aidan O'Brien also saddles Kingman newcomer Chemistry, who wears blinkers for his debut. He is a half-brother to a Listed winner in France but holds a sales entry towards the end of the month which wouldn't be encouraging.
GALLANTLY failed to meet expectations when finishing down the field on debut here last month, but given the weight of support for Aidan O'Brien's colt that day, he's worth another chance now stepped up to 1m. Chicago Critic was a few places ahead of the selection in third that day and he may emerge as the main danger, with Chemistry and Best Law another couple fancied to be involved.
A 25-1 chance when third on his debut over 7f at this venue CHICAGO CRITIC could be hard to beat over this extra furlong
