3/1(+50%) | (5) Theirshegoes 3/1, Below best over shorter trip at Kelso latest but had posted good third at same course (20.9f) previously and must enter calculations here. Fair effort in Class 4 latest and has possibilities back up in trip and down in grade. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (15/2 -7%) Looking Splendid |
15/2(-7%) | (7) Looking Splendid 15/2, Still looking for first success but matched best form when creditable fourth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Kelso (20.9f, good to soft, 14/1) 20 days ago. Claims if building on that. Lightly raced 6yo who ran a promising race in a Kelso handicap last time; in the mix. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (9) (5/1 +69%) Beat The Retreat |
5/1(+69%) | (9) Beat The Retreat 5/1, Novice handicap hurdle winner at Ayr last Christmas but lost his way as the season ended and pulled up on return at same course last month. Won off 2lb lower at Ayr last December but he's been generally disappointing since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (10) (9/2 +72%) Agilulf |
9/2(+72%) | (10) Agilulf 9/2, Still to register a victory and pulled up on Sedgefield chase debut 24 days ago. Back hurdling now and claims on her Market Rasen third in July but she's inconsistent. Wears first-time tongue strap over jumps. 20-race maiden under both codes and he's struggled over hurdles and fences last twice. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (22/1 -120%) Younowhatimean |
22/1(-120%) | (1) Younowhatimean 22/1, Irish raider who is still looking for first success and ran poorly when last seen at Listowel in September. Irish point winner but he's 0-12 under rules and was tailed off at Listowel last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (14/1 +13%) Shantou Lucky |
14/1(+13%) | (6) Shantou Lucky 14/1, Winning hurdler/chaser in Ireland for Gavin Cromwell. Left previous form for present connections behind when scoring at Perth in September but not been in same form either start since. Back to form when scoring at Perth in September but he's been well held in both runs since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (7/1 -250%) Dalileo |
7/1(-250%) | (2) Dalileo 7/1, Posted best effort for some time when taking 10-runner handicap hurdle at Ayr (19.5f, good to soft) 16 days ago, keeping on well. 6 lb higher now but must enter calculations. Comfortable win at Ayr (2m4f) two weeks ago and he's respected off 6lb higher here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (3) (100/1 -300%) Watch Law |
100/1(-300%) | (3) Watch Law 100/1, Hit the target twice between the flags in the early part of last year and showed more than previously under Rules when fourth in a hunter at Kelso (26.2f) in May. However, offered little back in this sphere at same course earlier this month. 9yo who is unexposed under rules but was tailed off on handicap debut at Kelso latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (8) (10/3 -33%) Achnamara |
10/3(-33%) | (8) Achnamara 10/3, Fair handicapper on Flat who landed back-to-back 2m handicaps at Catterick/Musselburgh in July and posted best effort in this sphere when close second of 12 at Sedgefield (19.8f, good) 15 days ago. 3 lb rise fair and is one for shortlist. Went close behind a highly progressive stablemate at Sedgefield; big player again up 3lb. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (100/1 -100%) Sefton Warrior |
100/1(-100%) | (4) Sefton Warrior 100/1, Unreliable and patchy form. Can only be watched after refusing to race on debut for new yard recently. On workable mark but he's 0-20 over hurdles and refused to race on recent stable debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (11) (100/1 -100%) Gieves |
100/1(-100%) | (11) Gieves 100/1, Worcester hurdles winner last September and bettered his low-key chase debut third in a 2m Uttoxeter handicap in July. Poor efforts since, though, the last twice for new yard. Only one win from 16 starts and he's struggled in both runs for new yard this autumn. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
DALILEO returned to form with a taking success at Ayr last time out and a 6lb rise for that could prove lenient as he attempts to follow up. Lisa Harrison's charge gets the vote ahead of Theirshegoes and Achnamara, who was narrowly denied at a big price at Sedgefield on his latest start. Looking Splendid and Younowhatimean are capable of being in the shake-up as well.
Preference is for ACHNAMARA, who was in good form on the level this summer and almost broke his duck over hurdles at Sedgefield earlier this month. He still looks nicely treated. Dalileo and Theirshegoes should also go well.
The vote goes to ACHNAMARA, who is lightly raced over hurdles and had a near miss behind a major improver at Sedgefield 15 days ago.

1st (5) (1/3 +50%) Wise Eagle |
1/3(+50%) | (5) Wise Eagle 1/3, Useful performer on Flat (stays 2¼m), below form in November Handicap recently. Found only one too good on Catterick hurdle debut in December 2022 prior to winning jumper bumper. Should have more to offer making a belated return to this sphere. Smart Flat performer and he's a major player on this return to hurdling. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (6/1 -100%) Sea Legend |
6/1(-100%) | (4) Sea Legend 6/1, Fairly useful handicapper on Flat (stays 1¼m) and showed an aptitude for hurdling with a tongue tie refitted when fourth at Sedgefield (16.8f) 51 days ago. Had undergone a breathing operation and likely to improve. Showed promise on hurdling debut at Sedgefield and has had wind op since; in the mix. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (14/1 +13%) Susiesparkle |
14/1(+13%) | (7) Susiesparkle 14/1, Fair handicapper on Flat (stays 1½m), left D. Borad, won at Hamilton in September, then runner-up next 2 starts before possibly finding race coming too soon last time. Not dismissed if transferring that form to hurdles at the first attempt. Minor 1m4f winner on Flat; could have future over hurdles and she's one to keep an eye on. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (12/1 +25%) Zephlyn |
12/1(+25%) | (6) Zephlyn 12/1, Fair handicapper on Flat, stays 2¼m. Showed some aptitude for hurdling when sixth of 10 at Carlisle last month but was well positioned. Well held on hurdling debut last month and he flopped back on the Flat last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (33/1 -136%) Clan Chieftain |
33/1(-136%) | (2) Clan Chieftain 33/1, Fairly useful handicapper on Flat (stays 2m), creditable third last time. Sold for just 6,000 gns from Ralph Beckett in September. Fairly useful on Flat for Ralph Beckett and needs checking in market on hurdling debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (80/1 -300%) Violeta |
80/1(-300%) | (8) Violeta 80/1, Modest maiden handicapper on Flat (stays 1¼m), respectable efforts last 2 starts. 1m2f Flat winner this autumn but this looks a tough starting point over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (3) (15/2 +63%) Jet Patrol |
15/2(+63%) | (3) Jet Patrol 15/2, Headstrong sort who made the frame in a maiden/novice last winter but has been disappointing since, making no impact back hurdling after 4 months off at Kelso last time. 0-5 in points and has same record under rules; others are more convincing. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (1) (250/1 -150%) Barrister Blaster |
250/1(-150%) | (1) Barrister Blaster 250/1, Modest maiden on Flat (stays 9f) who shaped with no promise sent hurdling after 16 months off at Carlisle recently. Modest maiden on Flat and was pulled up on hurdling/stable debut; tongue-tie now added. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
A talented sort on the level and rated as high as 107 earlier this year, WISE EAGLE makes his first start over hurdles since finishing runner-up at Catterick in December 2020. The seven-year-old has won here on the Flat four times and the ground should be in his favour as he looks to see off the likes of hurdling debutant Clan Chieftain and Sea Legend, who has undergone wind surgery since his jumping bow.
SEA LEGEND seems likely to build on his opening effort in this sphere at Sedgefield, especially with this slightly sharper test promising to suit. He gets the nod ahead of Wise Eagle, who should have more to offer making a belated return to hurdling, while Susiesparkle is another who could go well if taking to this new discipline.
This can go to the Smart Flat performer WISE EAGLE, who should be hard to beat back over hurdles. Sea Legend is the main danger.

1st (2) (4/9 +64%) You Some Girl |
4/9(+64%) | (2) You Some Girl 4/9, Finally got off the mark as a hurdler at Newcastle earlier in the month and defied a penalty with plenty in hand at Catterick (25.3f) last week. Expected to complete the hat-trick. Improved in hood and on a hat-trick; escapes penalty for latter Catterick win; big shout. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (40/1 -300%) Anamanda |
40/1(-300%) | (4) Anamanda 40/1, Lightly-raced maiden who caught the eye a bit upped in trip when ninth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Ayr (19.5f, good to soft) 32 days ago, finishing with running left. Upped further in distance and remains with potential as a hurdler. Promise shown when ninth at Ayr last month; she's a likely player now stepping up in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (28/1 -27%) Not In Kansas |
28/1(-27%) | (3) Not In Kansas 28/1, Dual winner who looked rusty after 6 months off when ninth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Ayr (24.3f, good to soft) 32 days ago. Entitled to be sharper here. Shaped as if in need of the run after six months off when ninth at Ayr; not ruled out now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (22/1 -159%) Time Was |
22/1(-159%) | (6) Time Was 22/1, Lightly-raced maiden under Rules who ran about as well as could be expected after 7 months off when fifth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Sedgefield (21.2f, good) 24 days ago. Not discredited after seven months off with Sedgefield fifth latest; in the picture. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (10/1 +17%) Reagrove Lord |
10/1(+17%) | (7) Reagrove Lord 10/1, Poor maiden who made hard work of things in first-time cheekpieces when fourth of 8 in handicap hurdle at Perth (23.9f, soft) 64 days ago, going in snatches. Remains winless but he comes here in decent nick; much respected after a break. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) (50/1 -100%) Swift Reply |
50/1(-100%) | (9) Swift Reply 50/1, Poor maiden who was again below his best back over hurdles when sixth in 12-runner handicap at Sedgefield (19.8f, good) 15 days ago. Below-form sixth in 2m4f Sedgefield handicap 15 days ago; others are much preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (5/1 +17%) Maura Jeanne |
5/1(+17%) | (5) Maura Jeanne 5/1, Didn't need to improve to finally get off the mark at Kelso in October and then unsuited by drop back in trip when fourth of 12 at Sedgefield (21.2f, good) 24 days ago, finishing with running left. Return to 3m an obvious plus. Won at Kelso and good fourth at Sedgefield since; she can go well returned to further. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (20/1 -67%) Lady Hamilton |
20/1(-67%) | (8) Lady Hamilton 20/1, Still a maiden but ran respectably when fifth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Hexham (23.3f, good to soft, 15/2) 21 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Yet to register a victory but a solid fifth at Hexham three weeks ago; in the mix. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (1) (16/1 -129%) Reel Her In |
16/1(-129%) | (1) Reel Her In 16/1, Just poor form so far over hurdles but has been progressive on the Flat this autumn, winning a brace of course handicaps and surely has more to offer now returned to this sphere. A dual Flat scorer for current yard; she's very much one to consider back in this sphere. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
This can go the way of YOU SOME GIRL, who continues to go from strength to strength after comfortable successes at Newcastle and Catterick. She escapes a penalty for the most recent of those so is 8lb well-in, and it may be that Maura Jeanne gives her the most to think about because she beat Rebecca Menzies' mare at Kelso last month. Lady Hamilton and Time Was are both maidens under Rules, but still have the form to get involved in proceedings.
YOU SOME GIRL hasn't always looked entirely straightforward, but is thriving at present and is taken to complete the hat-trick. Reel Her In has been progressing well on the Flat this autumn and surely has more to offer now returned to hurdling, with Maura Jeanne completing the shortlist.
It's hard to side against the rejuvenated YOU SOME GIRL who escapes a penalty for her easy Catterick win and can complete a hat-trick

1st (3) (8/1 +0%) Dr Shirocco |
8/1(+0%) | (3) Dr Shirocco 8/1, Winless following 20 attempts over hurdles but has already won 3 times in this sphere, the latest over 3m at Hexham in May. Solid efforts next 3 starts prior to a disappointing run after 4 months off at Sedgefield (21.1f) 24 days ago. Type to bounce back. On same mark as 3m win in May; has won fresh but below best latest when back from break. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (9/2 -200%) Hapy La Vie |
9/2(-200%) | (4) Hapy La Vie 9/2, Won back-to-back 3m handicap chases at Hexham in 2023 and belied a 14-month absence minus his usual cheekpieces (refitted here) when bringing up the hat-trick in 10-runner handicap hurdle at Ayr (24.3f) 32 days ago. Remains very low-mileage and player returned to larger obstacles. Progressive 3m chaser in 2023; made all back hurdling after layoff latest; bold bid again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (10/3 -122%) Return Fire |
10/3(-122%) | (1) Return Fire 10/3, Showed the benefit of a recent spin over hurdles and capitalised on easing mark when landing 9-runner handicap chase at Hexham (24.2f, good to soft, 10/3) 21 days ago. Definite claims in follow-up bid. Back to form of late and still on a winning mark despite recent 3m Hexham win. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (1/1 +89%) Defence Witness |
1/1(+89%) | (2) Defence Witness 1/1, Fair bumper winner who didn't kick on as expected over hurdles earlier this year and latest sixth of 12 on handicap chase debut at Hexham (24.2f) 56 days ago was disappointing. Cheekpieces go back on and significant if market spoke in his favour again. Won point and bumper on first 2 starts; out of luck since, including on chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (20/1 +20%) Uncle Mac |
20/1(+20%) | (5) Uncle Mac 20/1, Modest maiden hurdler who offered little in a couple of chase tries, latterly on debut for this yard in October and again showed nothing when last of 14 in handicap hurdle at Ayr (19.5f, good to soft) 32 days ago. Has it to prove back chasing upped markedly in trip. Modest handicap form over fences and hurdles; goes up in trip with plenty to find. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (16/1 0%) Ex S'elance |
16/1(0%) | (6) Ex S'elance 16/1, Dual chase winner in spring 2023. Operating below his best prior to falling back at Hexham in May and he's been absent again since. On a handy mark on pick of his form but this run may well be needed. Two 2m4f chase wins in early 2023; not in much form this year; off since falling in May. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
A winner over fences at Hexham in June before following up over the same C&D in September, HAPY LA VIE was able to exploit a lower mark to strike over hurdles at Ayr last month. The progressive seven-year-old is 8lb higher returned to the larger obstacles, but he is unlikely to have reached the ceiling of his ability just yet and is taken to go in again. Return Fire has less to prove than the remainder having been on target at Hexham three weeks ago and is considered the main threat. Dr Shirocco completes the shortlist.
RETURN FIRE and Hapy La Vie bring the most compelling claims to the table on the back of recent victories, with the former narrowly selected to come out on top in that dual and continue the good form of the Lucinda Russell yard. Dr Shirocco may emerge best of the remainder.
Return Fire is back in form but HAPY LA VIE (nap) was a good hurdle winner recently and can do better yet over fences.

1st (1) (3/1 +45%) All The Glory |
3/1(+45%) | (1) All The Glory 3/1, Improved when taking the EBF Mares' Final at Newbury (2½m, good to soft) in March. Better than bare form figures suggest more recently, possibly needing the run after 4 months off having travelled smoothly when ninth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Wincanton (21.4f) 3 weeks ago. Worth considering. Shaped well after four months off when ninth at Wincanton latest; player off 2lb lower. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (4/1 +0%) Sunday Soldier |
4/1(+0%) | (2) Sunday Soldier 4/1, Improved in leaps and bounds last season, completing a 5-timer over C&D in April. Revised mark demands more now but she ought to be sharper for last month's fifth of 7 in handicap at Ludlow (21.2f) having been off for 6 months prior to that. C&D winner; resumed with a solid fifth at Ludlow last month; must enter calculations. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (22/1 -144%) Could Be Trouble |
22/1(-144%) | (3) Could Be Trouble 22/1, Resumed winning ways at Hexham (20f) in October but having been seen to good effect then, she couldn't replicate that performance when fourth of 7 in handicap hurdle at Bangor (19.6f) 31 days ago. Others make more appeal. Below-par fourth of seven at Bangor (2m4f) in October; she needs to bounce back. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (40/1 -233%) See A Stride |
40/1(-233%) | (5) See A Stride 40/1, Fair maiden hurdler who was picked up cheaply by present connections prior to a below par fourth of 10 in mares' maiden at Hexham (20f) 7 weeks ago. Needs to step up plenty n that if she's to figure returned to handicaps. Well-held fourth at Hexham for her new stable 48 days ago; she has something to prove now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (6/1 -118%) Starlyte |
6/1(-118%) | (7) Starlyte 6/1, Rejuvenated in recent starts, finishing runner-up before bagging back-to-back handicaps at Kelso/Newcastle at up to 21f this month. Mark is steadily creeping back up but definite claims in hat-trick bid in present groove. Bids for a hat-trick after wins at Kelso and Newcastle; up 2lb but not taken lightly. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (6/1 +45%) Micks Jet |
6/1(+45%) | (4) Micks Jet 6/1, Bumper winner who made steady progress over hurdles prior to landing the odds in C&D mares' maiden in February. Tame efforts subsequently, including after 6 months off when last of 4 behind re-opposing Starlyte at Newcastle (20.3f) 2 weeks ago. C&D scorer but she has yet to fire this term; she needs to take a big step forward. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (9) (40/1 -186%) My Lady Elektra |
40/1(-186%) | (9) My Lady Elektra 40/1, Fair maiden hurdler in France, placed twice in 2023/24. Shaped as if needing the run after 9 months off when sixth of 10 in novice hurdle at Hexham (20.1f, soft) on debut for new yard 7 weeks ago and entitled to be sharper returned to handicaps but betting may prove best guide. Not disgraced for new handler with Hexham sixth last month; she can take a step forward. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (10) (11/1 -38%) Santa Clarita |
11/1(-38%) | (10) Santa Clarita 11/1, Made a winning start for Dan Skelton at Worcester in September. Bright start for new yard, rallying well from 2 out when 6 lengths second of 11 to Starlyte in handicap hurdle at Kelso (20.9f, good to soft) 20 days ago. However, more needed back up in class here. Has started well for her new stable, second at Kelso latest; can make her presence felt. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (8) (20/1 -122%) Dark Image |
20/1(-122%) | (8) Dark Image 20/1, Bumper winner who opened hurdles account in big field Roscommon handicap (15.6f) in June. Has essentially looked in the grip of the assessor in handful of subsequent outings though, and she needs to pull out a little more. Arrives in decent nick, sixth at Listowel in September; is much respected after a break. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (6) (4/1 +67%) Simply Red |
4/1(+67%) | (6) Simply Red 4/1, All 4 career victories have come at Bangor, landing a brace in summer 2023 for Donald McCain. Struggled on Flat/over hurdles for Mark Walford earlier this year but fallen plenty in weights if another yard switch/break has had positive effect ahead of this. Tongue tie discarded. Offered little for Mark Walford and she needs this yard switch to spark a resurgence. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Starlyte comfortably accounted for Santa Clarita at Kelso before going on to record an unlikely win at Newcastle. Santa Clarita is 6lb better off, despite racing from 3lb out of the handicap, but that might not be enough to reverse the form. That said, the vote goes to ALL THE GLORY, who has largely struggled since landing a valuable prize at Newbury in March, but this is far easier than the races she has contested and she may be capable of bouncing back. Ben Macey takes a welcome 10lb off her back too, and that can only be viewed as an added positive.
This is a significant drop in class for the O'Neill's ALL THE GLORY who may well have just needed her first start for 4 months over further at Wincanton 3 weeks ago and she appeals as being on an exploitable mark. Thriving mare Starlyte is an obvious threat in her hat-trick bid. Multiple course-scorer Sunday Soldier and Simply Red are others to bear in mind.
It could be worth siding with ALL THE GLORY to build on the promise of her reapearance run and capitalise on a good mark.

8/1(-33%) | (1) Chapel Green 8/1, Back to form under change of tactics when making all in handicap at Kelso (21.6f, good to soft) in May. Failed to come on for a recent run when well held at the same C&D 20 days ago, but he could fare better back down in grade. Well below best in two runs this autumn and has something to prove back at this trip. |

2nd (4) (13/2 -8%) Hold Onto The Line |
13/2(-8%) | (4) Hold Onto The Line 13/2, All 4 wins at this venue (twice over hurdles), though was fortunate when successful over C&D in January having been left in front after 2 out. Fell at the fourth at Newcastle on second start this season, but he's not ruled out back here. C&D win in January but things have not gone well in two runs this autumn; risks attached. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (10/3 -67%) Dream Jet |
10/3(-67%) | (3) Dream Jet 10/3, Has been in good heart in handicap chases this season, jumping well when gaining a second win over fences in novices' event at Hexham (15.6f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago. Can build on that and strike again. Hit personal best when scoring at Hexham last time; up 4lb but he's a big player again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (7/2 +78%) Valleyview Tommy |
7/2(+78%) | (5) Valleyview Tommy 7/2, Placed in a couple of maiden hurdles towards the end of last year, but failed to progress sent handicapping and, in first-time cheekpieces, fared no better when pulled up at Hexham (15.6f, soft) on chasing debut last month. Others preferred. Form figures of 5P0P in handicaps and that latest pulled-up effort was on his chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (17/2 +15%) Prospect House |
17/2(+15%) | (7) Prospect House 17/2, Off the mark in handicap hurdle at Market Rasen (18.6f) last September, but ran to only a similar level as on his reappearance when seventh of 9 at Southwell last month. Pulled up on only previous chase start, so he has work to do back over fences. Well held in two runs after a year off and has something to prove now switched to chasing. |

6th (2) (6/1 -71%) Dance Thief |
6/1(-71%) | (2) Dance Thief 6/1, Opened Rules account in handicap hurdle at Ayr (16f) in March and placed all 3 starts since, producing a good effort after 6 months off when runner-up back at Ayr (good to soft) 27 days ago. Could be in the mix on chase debut (winning pointer). Reliable over hurdles and had near miss at Ayr on recent return; respected on chase debut. |

4/1(+33%) | (6) Augharue 4/1, Remains a maiden but runner-up twice over fences this season, denied late on by a next-time-out winner at Kelso (17.1f, good to soft) in October. Not in the same form at Sedgefield 3 days ago, but he's one to note with cheekpieces added. Went close at Kelso on penultimate run but was pulled up at Sedgefield on Tuesday. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
DREAM JET recorded his second victory over fences when returning the convincing winner at Hexham and Brian Ellison's charge may prove difficult to beat raised only 4lb. Dance Thief went close at Ayr on his reappearance and rates a threat if taking to the larger obstacles, while Hold Onto The Line won off a higher mark over C&D back in January and is not easily overlooked.
DREAM JET has made the frame on his last 7 starts, putting up a career-best round of jumping when scoring at Hexham on his latest outing, so he is taken to record a third win of the season. He can get the better of Augharue, who is on a handy mark with cheekpieces now on first time, while Hold Onto The Line is also respected back at this course.
This can go to DREAM JET, who resumed his progress with a comfortable win at Hexham three weeks ago. Dance Thief is feared most.

250/1(-400%) | (2) King Gold Boy 250/1, Went with little encouragement first time up when well-beaten last of 7 in bumper at Kelso (16.2f, good to soft) 20 days ago. Looks to be up against it. 66-1 on Kelso debut three weeks ago and he finished a tailed-off last of seven. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Rebecca Menzies' yard remains in fine form and SWINGINGONTHESTEEL is taken to make a bold bid. The four-year-old was no match for Count Of Vendome at Sedgefield on his debut under Rules but that form looks stronger in hindsight, with the winner subsequently placing in a Listed bumper at Cheltenham. Loch Brandy also found one too good at Sedgefield last month and a good effort seems assured, with Charlie Maggs' 7lb allowance in her favour. Kool Raoul is a newcomer to note.
SWINGINGONTHESTEEL showed plenty of ability on Rules debut when runner-up in a Sedgefield bumper last month, beaten only by a useful prospect, and he can build on that effort to go one better. Loch Brandy also finished second at Sedgefield on her return and is feared most, with Kool Raoul the pick of the debutants.
Loch Brandy and SWINGINGONTHESTEEL both finished runner-up at Sedgefield last time and slight preference is for the latter.
Ths is the racecard key.
