LTO Selection:

12:15 Ludlow Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A promising runner-up on her return here last month over shorter, REGAL RENAISSANCE is taken to go one better at a track where she won comfortably in April. A winner of two of his last three, Ramo is of interest on the drop in trip, while Fenney Brook should be able to build on a determined success at Hereford last time out. The Bomber Liston and Toothless are likely to be thereabouts as well.

A competitive opener and with that in mind it may pay to take a chance on top weight FRONT VIEW. His recent record is patchy but he ought to strip fitter for last month's reappearance run at Chepstow and he's lurking on a very dangerous mark judged on the pick of his form in Ireland. Ramo was progressing well when last seen and he's feared, along with Regal Renaissance and Call Me Tara.

Several with obvious claims but perhaps handicap newcomer MAHLER MOON can take a step forward.

12:50 Ludlow Conditions Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

With the notable omission of Fontwell winner Book Of Tales, this can go the way of BALBOA, who put it all together when winning at Chepstow last month. Milton Harris' charge must saddle a penalty today, but any further improvement will make him a tough nut to crack. Right Now was far from disgraced on his hurdles debut at Cork and is one to note on his first start for the Sheila Lewis team. Star Turn is a half-brother to dual hurdle winner Da Vinci Hand and he looks an interesting prospect now sent over timber.

This may develop into a fight between previous hurdle winners BOOK OF TALES and Balboa, with a narrow vote going to the former. It's possible the refitting of a headgear combination she wore to good effect on the Flat in France could see Saisissante leave her hurdle debut effort well behind so she's next on the list.

The newcomers make little appeal so BALBOA is taken to follow up his Chepstow win.

13:25 Ludlow Handicap Chase (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

TIGHTENOURBELTS could not have won any easier here on his latest start in March, and a mark of 124 on his chase debut looks manageable. Emma Lavelle's charge gets the vote ahead of the capable Washington, who must be of interest on his first start for the Paul Nicholls yard. Runner-up on two of his last three starts, Jubilee Express is entitled to be thereabouts as well.

An interesting novices' handicap chase that could be dominated by chasing debutants, with TIGHTENOURBELTS looking the pick of them given his pointing background. Washington is one to note on debut for Paul Nicholls and Jubilee Express is considered with his stable in such good order.

14:00 Ludlow Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

FLORENCETHEMACHINE found only a useful mare too strong when runner-up on her hurdling debut at Chepstow last month and any natural improvement should make Paul Nicholls' five-year-old tough to beat. Although Between Waters failed to meet market expectations on her sixth-placed finish in a warm bumper at Ascot last season, the daughter of Walk In The Park is likely to on the premises entering this sphere, along with Girls In Skirts.

A winner on her only start in points, FLORENCETHEMACHINE produced a very promising first effort in this sphere when runner-up in a mares' novice at Chepstow 4 weeks ago and, with improvement expected, she earns the vote to go one place better. Between Waters on hurdles debut and Lilting Verse are others to consider, with Girls In Skirts also worthy of note.

14:35 Ludlow Handicap Chase (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Hunter Legend posted his best effort to date when second at Ffos Las in May and Venetia Williams' gelding isn't taken lightly if continuing in the same heart after a 184-day absence. However, there may be some value in taking the six-year-old on with a race-fit TEN PAST MIDNIGHT. The son of Midnight Legend has recorded his best efforts over 2m this season. Famoso completes the shortlist.

HUNTER LEGEND is bred to make a chaser being a half-brother to the yard's very smart Cepage, so he can make a winning debut in this sphere despite the drop in trip probably not being ideal. Famoso shaped as if still in form at Exeter and is next best ahead of Go Fox.

Irish point winner; won Hereford bumper on British debut; plenty of appeal now hurdling.

Followed up at Carlisle next time, but beaten a fair way on final start of last season (since undergone a wind op) and opposable starting out over hurdles in what looks a warm race.

Two good bumper efforts; likely to have to improve considerably on recent hurdle third.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

CHOCCABLOC was only headed in the dying strides on his first appearance over timber at this venue a fortnight ago and compensation could await with that experience under his belt. The Doyen Chief made the perfect start to his Rules debut when landing a bumper at Hereford in April and Alan King's winning pointer can't be underestimated entering this discipline. Goonhilly may fare best of the remainder.

CHOCCABLOC pulled clear of the rest when narrowly outpointed on his recent hurdles debut at this course and, with this step up in trip likely to help unlock improvement, he will take plenty of stopping. The Doyen Chief did the job well when making a successful start under Rules in a Hereford bumper and he could have a bright future in this sphere, while Goonhilly is best of the rest.

Ran well at favourite track Huntingdon in April but remains on career-high mark here.

15:45 Ludlow Handicap Chase (Class 4) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Off the back of a good second over the extended 3m1f at Ffos Las in April, ROBYNDZONE commands a lot of respect and rates the one to beat. He could still be well handicapped off 107 and, 3-8 over fences, there is likely more to come from him over the larger obstacles. Jaytee is also respected, while Lord Sparky is interesting on his return too.

With Eceparti's participation in doubt (made to work hard when successful again at Chepstow on Wednesday), it could pay to side with his stablemate ROBYNDZONE, who was in good form when last seen in the spring and has gone well fresh in the past. A better showing is anticipated from Concetto going right-handed and with cheekpieces fitted so he heads up the dangers, ahead of Ian Williams' pair Jaytee and Tide Times.

16:20 Ludlow NH Flat Race (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GIDDYUPADINGDONG made a very pleasing start to his career when scoring over the extended 1m5f in a bumper at Huntingdon and he can follow up that success. Milton Harris' charge can put that experience to good use over many of these rivals and more improvement can be expected. Carved In Stone is feared most for trainer Hugo Palmer who has very few bumper runners, while Bobacious is noted too.

The market will no doubt be revealing with several newcomers on show, but the vote goes to GIDDYUPADINGDONG, who made a winning start at Huntingdon last month and can put that experience to good use under a penalty. Maria's Flame, Carved In Stone and Gore Point are just a trio of potential dangers making their respective debuts.
