(7) Bucksy Des Epeires 5/1, Showed fair form when second in juvenile events at Dieppe and Lyon Parilly in 2022. Off 13 months but has joined an in-form yard and needs considering.

(3) Illico De Cotte 10/11, Fetched £100,000 after landing an Irish maiden point by 12 lengths in March. Has joined a top yard and confidence behind him in the betting on Rules debut would look significant.

Didn't look entirely straightforward when sixth of 11 under a penalty at Ascot on recent return but still warrants respect as a bumper winner on hurdle debut.
Bumper winner who didn't run badly under a penalty at Ascot recently; now hurdling.

12:00 Lingfield Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BUCKSY DES EPEIRES recorded some useful form when racing in France and the four-year-old may be able to open his account now under the tutelage of the in-form Venetia Williams. Illico De Cotte was an easy winner of his sole point-to-point in Ireland and the son of Kitkou warrants respect entering this sphere for leading connections. Tintagel Queen finished second in a Chepstow bumper in March and is another to consider on her hurdles debut.

ILLICO DE COTTE fetched £100,000 after landing an Irish point by 12 lengths in March and, having joined a top yard, he makes plenty of appeal. Bucksy des Epeires showed a fair level of form in France and could raise his game on his UK/stable debut, while Tintagel Queen and All Authorized merit consideration too having shown promise in bumpers.

Some potential on show. Bumper winner ALL AUTHORIZED is the brother of an Irish National winner and now goes up in distance.

(3) Lady Of The Night 7/1, Novice hurdle winner in 2021/22 season. Lost her way over fences after a promising start and fared no better back over hurdles when last seen in May.

Hurdle winner in the spring; makes chasing debut after low-key reappearance last month.
LTO Selection:

12:35 Lingfield Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Ya Know Yaseff arrives in good heart and David Pipe's mare makes more appeal than most. However, the drop in trip to 2m4f might leave the daughter of Jet Away vulnerable, with PRESENTING A QUEEN shading the vote. The six-year-old should have learned plenty from her chase debut when third at Wincanton last month and any natural improvement for that reappearance could make her tough to pass. Artemis Kimbo and Lady Of The Night are others to note.

HEVA ROSE is potentially thrown-in back over fences and her yard couldn't be in any better form, so she's worth chancing on her return. Presenting A Queen offered something to work on when third on chase bow/return and is feared most.

It might be worth chancing LADY OF THE NIGHT, who will be hard to beat at this level if back on song after her break.

LTO Selection:

13:10 Lingfield Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SAO CARLOS was a strongly supported favourite when he made a winning debut in a bumper at Market Rasen and the five-year-old is a highly appealing option, with in-form Sean Bowen booked for the ride on his hurdling debut. Former point-to-pointer Aworkinprogress, a 92,000 euro-purchase, is also considered on his introduction under Rules, while Colours On Canvas also commands respect on his first run for a new yard.

French Flat winner PYROTECHNIC should be much sharper following his recent hurdles debut at Ascot, a race won by a potentially useful novice from the Nicky Henderson yard, and he earns the vote. Colours On Canvas shaped well on his sole start for previous connections in Ireland and is feared most, albeit bumper winner Sao Carlos is also accorded a good deal of respect.

Olly Murphy's SAO CARLOS could be a useful prospect. He had some decent horses behind him when winning his bumper.

Winning pointer who didn't hang about over hurdles despite showing promise; had wind op.
LTO Selection:

13:45 Lingfield Handicap Chase (Class 3) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Proven over the trip and with the ground in his favour, GIT MAKER, who has won five of his eight previous races under Rules, is hard to oppose at this level and is taken to expand on his progressive profile. The selection's stablemate Super Survivor has adapted well to chasing and is feared most, while Morning Spirit is not ruled out given he has plenty of experience in this discipline and could very easily exploit any weakness show by Jamie Snowden's pair on their seasonal reappearances.

Jamie Snowden saddled the winner of this last year and fields two strong candidates in GIT MAKER and Super Survivor this time round. The latter possesses the stronger form having accounted for some decent types at Chepstow last December but it looks significant that Gavin Sheehan partners Git Maker, who has won five of his eight starts under Rules and is armed with plenty of potential. Eureka Creek and Morning Spirit, though capable, both have a point to prove at present.

Super Survivor has more to offer but the same is true of stablemate GIT MAKER (nap), the preferred mount of Gavin Sheehan.

Return of cheekpieces could help but he was disappointing at Plumpton recently.
LTO Selection:

14:20 Lingfield Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A facile winner of a conditional riders' race at Sandown nine days ago, OPERATION MANNA has a lot going for him on these terms and, given he gets weight from the rest, a quick follow-up success is a distinct possibility, especially with Cameron Iles pitching in with his 7lb claim. Benassi showed promise last season and is dangerous to underestimate despite being pulled up on his return at Chepstow last month, while Rocky Man is not dismissed with blinkers tried for the first time.

A race which to a large extent revolves around OPERATION MANNA, who will likely go in again if in anything like the same form as at Sandown. Benassi was struggling a long way out in the Silver Trophy but can bounce back faced with a less-competitive scenario and chase Tom Lacey's charge home.

Tom Lacey's OPERATION MANNA escapes a penalty for his wide-margin win at Sandown and none of his rivals ran well last time out.

14:55 Lingfield Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GOOD TIME AHEAD sprang a 22/1 surprise when scoring at Fakenham last week and a 7lb penalty may not be enough to prevent him following up if he arrives in the same mood today. There is every chance of that, given he is a previous C&D winner, but Tara Iti and One Last Glance should be ready to pounce if the selection fluffs his lines.

GOOD TIME AHEAD had something to spare when scoring at Fakenham last week and, if he handles the quick turnaround, he could defy a penalty in a race where several have something to prove. Mi Sueno arrives in form and deserves respect, while handicap debutant Tellmesomethingood deserves a mention.

In an open race a chance is taken on MICKYH who has dropped to a good mark and is now back with his former yard.

LTO Selection:

15:28 Lingfield Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Kyntara has the form to go well off what looks a very workable mark, but he returns from a layoff and this looks like a good opportunity for WOODIE FLASH to complete a double. Olly Murphy's five-year-old made the most of a drop in class when running out a very easy winner over 3m2f at Warwick earlier in the month and although he has gone up 10lb for that, this doesn't look any tougher and a repeat performance should suffice. Young Merlin rates best of the rest.

WOODIE FLASH improved markedly for a step up in trip at Warwick recently and, while this isn't quite the same stamina test, he's likely to go in again. No Tackle is of interest returning to the scene of his maiden win and Kyntara is worthy of interest starting out for a new stable.

Olly Murphy's WOODIE FLASH won so well at Warwick that he might well be capable of defying the 10lb rise.

About U.K Horse Racing
