14:00 Lingfield Maiden (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A somewhat disappointing favourite when third at Kempton last time out, CANDYMAN STAN still sets the standard on form, and Oisin Murphy taking over in the saddles is a major plus. A winner of two of his last three starts in the jumps sphere, Colours On Canvas should be monitored for market support as he makes his first start on the Flat, while Patch's Bond is likely to improve on an eye-catching debut effort at Kempton over 7f last month, when he made strong late ground from the rear.

CANDYMAN STAN shaped with encouragement when fourth on debut and, while he didn't improve on it at Kempton last time, he's worth another chance to open his account. His Finest Hour is an interesting newcomer on paper and Colours On Canvas has shown a good level of ability over obstacles, so they're both considered.

Another chance is given to CANDYMAN STAN. He was a disappointing favourite last time, but had shown promise on his Leicester debut.

14:30 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A creditable third off 1lb higher over 1m here last month, EIGHT MILE could be well suited by dropping back in trip on this occasion and the form of that contest has worked out extremely well in the interim, and . A winner here before, the four-year-old is narrowly preferred to No News, who wasn't beaten far over C&D last week and is turned out again quickly off the same mark. Global Warning's last win came over 7f in December and his most recent effort here over shorter wasn't without promise.

GLOBAL WARNING looked like a return to form was on the horizon here last time and he's down in grade from an appealing mark, so he's marginally preferred to in-form pair No News and Eight Mile.

The vote goes to EIGHT MILE whose third here ten days ago has been franked by the subsequent wins of the second and fourth.

15:00 Lingfield Maiden (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

It is difficult to look past SAYIDAH DARIYAN, who made a highly-encouraging debut at Windsor last week when looking green throughout and finishing a close-up third. With improvement expected from that effort, she can get off the mark ahead of Loving Apprentice and Desert Eye, who may not have shown much first time out at Catterick but she is related to a few who have scored on the all-weather.

SAYIDAH DARIYAN showed plenty when third at Windsor on debut and, unless there's an above-average newcomer in opposition, she should be able to open her account 8 days on. Her stablemate The Thames Lady is interesting on paper and Nick of Time is another debutante to note.

This looks good for SAYIDAH DARIYAN who showed plenty of promise, and not a little greenness, when third on her recent Windsor debut.

15:30 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A few of these arrive with something to prove, but that can't be said for DUE DATE. Charlie Wallis' charge continued a decent spell of form when recording a narrow success at Southwell last month and a 2lb rise looks fair. Champion jockey elect Oisin Murphy gets aboard for the first time and he can continue his title charge. Purple Poppy had to race wider than ideal over C&D on Thursday but she can be involved should things pan out more favourably, while Bluebells Boy heads the remainder.

DUE DATE added to his productive season with a battling success at Southwell last time and, under another positive ride, he may be able to defy a rise for all that Purple Poppy is a danger from a basement mark. Bluebells Boy is another one to consider down in grade.

Tentative preference is for PURPLE POPPY, ahead of Due Date and Bluebells Boy.

16:00 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Havana Sky appeared to relish a drop in trip when landing a classified event over 6f at Thirsk last time out and the unexposed three-year-old should go close back in a handicap, but NORDIC GLORY gets the vote. The son of Cotai Glory bumped into an in-form rival at Brighton earlier this month and compensation could await from an unchanged rating. Lion Ring can chase that pair home.

HAVANA SKY wasn't fully extended when scoring at Thirsk recently and he's still unexposed so, with the potential for better again, he takes marginal preference over Nordic Glory, who came clear of the others when runner-up at Brighton 9 days ago. Lion Ring is also considered.

The vote goes to five-time course winner NORDIC GLORY (nap) who has been running well on turf lately.

16:30 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SUGARLOAF LENNY left it late to get up over 1m2f at Yarmouth recently. The son of Land Force ought to be even better over this longer trip on that evidence, and he is taken to shrug off a 2lb rise to double his tally. Francesco Baracca returned to form when on target at Kempton last month and he looks the main danger, while Open Secret should not be underestimated.

FRANCESCO BARACCA has been suited by a recent switch to AW, beating a subsequent winner when scoring at Kempton 2 weeks ago, and gets the vote over Open Secret, who's likely to have the run of things from the front.

Preference is for SUGARLOAF LENNY who has winning course form, while his second over 1m2f here in July has worked out well.

17:05 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

FOREVER PROUD scored over this C&D in May and is back off the same mark today. Fourth back here on her latest outing, she debuts for James Owen's in-form yard now and may prove the one to side with. Iftikhaar returns to this shorter trip with Oisin Murphy taking over the reins and is not out of it, while Lost In Time also drops in distance with a shout on the back of finishing second at Bath.

FOREVER PROUD has joined a stable that do well with new recruits and could add a third C&D win to her tally. Miss Harmony lurks on a tempting mark, while Star of Epsom could go well back on the polytrack.

Preference is for LOST IN TIME who is well berthed in stall four and who is 6lb lower than when winning here late last year.

17:35 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

KALAMUNDA has shown a marked preference for the all-weather tracks and only needed to be pushed out to regain the winning thread at Southwell. Equally effective on the Polytrack, a 5lb penalty may not be enough to anchor Joseph Parr's inmate in his double bid. Jazzy Angel won at Wolverhampton in February and will be sharper for last month's reappearance at Newmarket, while Darvel remains unexposed on artificial surfaces and is only 2lb higher than when last successful on turf.

KALAMUNDA looks ahead of the handicapper under a penalty for his ready Southwell win and can make it 4-4 on AW. Francesi could be interesting back at Lingfield, while Jazzy Angel has looked better on AW and should have come on for last month's Newmarket return.

The choice is KALAMUNDA who did it nicely at Southwell seven days ago. A 5lb penalty may not stop him from making it 4-4 on the AW.
