14:30 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

COME ON YOU SPURS made a pleasing start for the Richard Spencer stable when filling the runner-up spot in a class 5 event at Newmarket last month and she is only 2lb higher for that display. The daughter of Zoffany makes only her third handicap start and she looks the one to beat. Bramble Jelly was a shade disappointing when only managing sixth at Bath last time but if she can reproduce the form of her second off this mark two starts ago, then she ought to have a say. Of the remainder, Newfangled makes the most appeal.

NEWFANGLED has been knocking on the door lately, including over C&D, and might prove the answer to this opener. Come On You Spurs went close on her recent Newmarket reappearance and looks the obvious danger.

With further progress possible, Newmarket runner-up COME ON YOU SPURS could well go one better. Newfangled is second choice.

15:00 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

POLEMON wasn't disgraced when he finished fifth at Newbury on his latest outing and the handicapper has given him a chance by dropping him 2lb for that performance. Archie Watson's five-year-old competes off a career-low mark and makes plenty of appeal with Hollie Doyle back on board. The main danger might be Fascinating Lips, who finished fourth at this level at Brighton last month and he could get closer off a 1lb lower mark, while Sun Dancer Girl can fight it out for the minor honours.

POLEMON shaped well at Newbury recently and is worth a chance to confirm that promise with Hollie Doyle back in the saddle now. Andrew Balding 3-y-o Sun Dancer Girl has some potential now tackling older horses for the first time and is second choice ahead of Fascinating Lips.

With her latest effort working out well, SUN DANCER GIRL appears to have leading claims. Inbetweenus is second choice.

15:30 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Wannabe Brave failed to land the four-timer when he was beaten into third at Kempton on his latest outing, but he remains in great form and has to be respected off the same rating. However, the vote goes to WANNABEAWALLABY, who had Warmonger (third) in arrears when filling the runner-up spot behind a subsequent winner at Yarmouth last time and he can confirm that form to go one better.

WANNABEAWALLABY has some strong form for the level, notably his third at Beverley, and with the still longer trip expected to suit, he makes plenty of appeal. Warmonger and Wannabe Brave head the dangers.

Judged on the strength of his recent form, WANNABEAWALLABY (nap) looks poised to open his account. Warmonger is feared most.

16:00 Lingfield Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

DOLCE VITTA wasn't disgraced behind the Group 1-entered Catalyse last time out and, although a well-held fifth that day, this drop in class presents the daughter of Cotai Glory with a solid chance of supplementing the Redcar novice win from her penultimate start. Sea Of Diamonds broke her maiden in a convincing manner at that same venue on her racecourse debut in May and is and has scope for improvement today. Ant Colony and well-bred debutant Power Of Twins complete the shortlist.

This could develop into a match between the previous winners and it's DOLCE VITTA who is selected to come out on top back in much calmer waters. Archie Watson's filly looked a useful prospect on debut, so she won't allow the selection to have it all her own way, with Kilpatrick Prince and Power of Twins seemingly best of the newcomers on paper. Rage of Thunder is another worthy of a mention, too.

This race features an interesting clash between the comfortable Redcar winners SEA OF DIAMONDS (preferred) and Dolce Vitta.

16:30 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

After showing promise in three qualifying runs, FOREVER MY PRINCE debuts in a handicap from a workable mark and can prove the assessor right in his assumption that she is the pick of this bunch at this stage. It is fair to say Miss Nifty, a winner on debut at Brighton last month, was outclassed when she was last in a Listen event at Newmarket most recently but, dropped in class, she could bounce back at this level. Yala rates the pick of the rest.

MISS NIFTY got the better of a next-time-out winner when making a successful debut at Brighton in June and, having been upped straight into listed company next time, she is taken to get back on track as she makes her nursery debut. Yala could also have more to offer now handicapping and is feared most, ahead of Forever My Prince.

The vote goes to solid contender BIG BUG, whose form has substance. Forever My Prince ties in with the selection.

17:00 Lingfield Handicap (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A C&D maiden winner on his final start as a juvenile, NAZRON returned to action after being gelded with a respectable second-placed finish to a match-fit opponent at Redcar last month and, off the same mark, the son of Dark Angel can go one better here. The consistent Mc Loven keeps threatening to win another race and is again a must for consideration, while Tsunami Spirit and Kiss And Run are no back numbers in what appears a competitive handicap despite the lack of numbers.

NAZRON made an encouraging return from 8 months off when runner-up at Redcar 18 days ago, showing good speed before his absence seemed to tell, so he can build on that effort to resume winning ways. The main danger could be Mc Loven, who did little wrong when second at this C&D last time, with Tsunami Spirit also capable of getting involved.

Topweight NAZRON has a solid record and looks set to build on his Redcar reappearance effort. Mc Loven is feared most.
