18:02 Leicester Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MEDIA GUEST finished first past the post at Chelmsford last month but for subsequently losing the race in the stewards' room. He's only 1lb higher on this switch to turf and compensation could await for George Margarson's gelding. Look Back Smiling didn't appear the easiest of rides when hanging right at Beverley last time, but the three-year-old is capable on a going day and is feared most. Cold Stare is another to consider on his best form this season.

MEDIA GUEST looked to have ended a long losing run at Chelmsford City last time only to lose the race in the stewards' room and can gain compensation nudged up just 1 lb here. Gone is enjoying an excellent season and rates the chief threat, with Roach Power and Cold Stare not ruled out either in a trappy-looking handicap.

This looks a bit trappy but LOOK BACK SMILING gets the vote ahead of Media Guest.

18:32 Leicester Maiden (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Those with racecourse experience haven't set much of a standard and warrant closer attention once receiving a handicap mark. The betting market is likely to prove informative for the remaining newcomers, with a tentative vote going to MARIE ELLEN. Marco Botti's charge is a half-sister to the highly-rated Rainbow Fire and she may take some beating if anywhere near the same ability. Wren Officer and Showmethewayhome are other interesting players.

The 2 with experience have shown next to nothing so far so an excellent opportunity for one of the newcomers to make a winning start, WREN OFFICER making the most appeal before market clues. Marie Ellen is next on the list.

The market should be informative but at this stage the vote goes to MARIE ELLEN, who is a half-sister to two useful 2yo winners.

LTO Selection:

19:02 Leicester Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GAME BREAKER overcame a troubled passage when justifying favouritism on her nursery bow on Friday and the daughter of Soldier's Call is fancied to lift the flag once again. Cuban Secret may prove more competitive now dropped in class and could give the selection most to think about. Angel Shared's opening mark looks workable on her penultimate second at York and she could also have a say.

Penalised winners GAME BREAKER and Indication Spirit look the pair to focus on. The former showed much-improved form when justifying market confidence on her nursery bow at Thirsk so shades the vote.

This is a tight call between the two penalised runners in Indication Spirit and GAME BREAKER but the vote goes to the latter.

LTO Selection:

19:37 Leicester Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CROWN DREAMS posted an eye-catching effort on his debut at Haydock 12 days ago and while he was no match for the winner that day, he created the impression that he will have plenty of success moving forward. His experience over the trip, with similar ground forecast, should set him up nicely for tonight's task. Dubai Dreamer and well-bred newcomer Welleef also merit consideration.

DUBAI DREAMER again looked a work-in-progress but showed definite promise when third in a Salisbury novice (7f) 18 days ago, and with potential for better still, he could be worth chancing to take another step forward. Welleef and Lohengrin are a couple of interesting newcomers and both need monitoring for their respective yards. Crown Dreams, runner-up on debut at Haydock, is another to note.

Preference is for CROWN DREAMS, who made a promising start when runner-up behind a useful rival at Haydock two weeks ago.

LTO Selection:

20:12 Leicester Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BASHFUL, who has won his last three starts in a progressive manner, retains a competitive mark based on his peak efforts and looks the one to be with here. The five-year-old showed resilience when challenged near the finish at Hamilton last time and, off just 1lb higher, he is hard to ignore in his bid to extend the winning sequence. Mahanakhon rates a big threat now tried with cheekpieces, while Grand Libya is dangerous to underestimate.

A few in with a squeak but BASHFUL is in the form of his life at present so Iain Jardine's 5-y-o gets the vote to bring up an impressive 4-timer having been nudged up just 1 lb for his recent Hamilton success. Mahanakhon wasted no time getting back to form when a close third under this rider at Pontefract 12 days ago so he may emerge as the main danger, ahead of Pillar of Hope and Shaladar.

The vote goes to BASHFUL (nap), who has won his last three starts and is only 1lb higher than when scoring at Hamilton last time.

LTO Selection:

20:42 Leicester Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

It's difficult to get away from SELENACHORUS, whose 11-length success over course and distance last week is the strongest piece of form on offer. The daughter of Sea The Moon has bags of scope for progression in handicaps and a 6lb penalty is unlikely to stop the forward momentum. Rose Camira is interesting dropping back in trip and, along with the lightly-weighted Pfingstberg, can give the selection something to think about.

On her second handicap start, SELENACHORUS improved again when a wide-margin winner at this C&D a week ago and a penalty might not be enough to prevent her from following up. Ancient Capital made an encouraging reappearance and could be the biggest threat, ahead of Rose Camira.

This can go to SELENACHORUS, who trounced her rivals in a C&D handicap last week and looks very well treated under a penalty.
