Those with racecourse experience make no appeal, so a chance is taken on the newcomer ALEISHKA. Ed Dunlop's filly is a half-sister to the smart Royal Patronage, who won both the Acomb and Royal Lodge as a two-year-old, and she could be thereabouts at the finish. Celeborn and Chesneys Charm represent in-form yards, while Metro Dubai is another worth noting, but Feeling High may be seen to better effect when tackling longer trips.

CELEBORN's dam was a sharp 2-y-o, and representing powerful connections, he could well be up to the task on debut. Newcomers may well dominate, with Feeling High and Metro Dubai also likely types.

This looks sure to go to a newcomer and George Boughey's CELEBORN looks a likely type.

FEARLESS FREDDY was doing his best work at the finish when beaten less than a length at Bath last week. This longer trip should bring further progress and he gets the vote. Corriamo finished behind the selection at Windsor on his debut but should also appreciate this extra test of stamina, and his yard has been among the winners lately. Testimonial is related to three winners, while Timefall is another newcomer to note.

FEARLESS FREDDY has made a bright start, looking ready for this trip, and could be hard to beat with the prospect of more improvement on the way. Newcomers Timefall and Sopelana are a couple of interesting fillies and a market move for either would need following.

There is very little racecourse evidence to go on but FEARLESS FREDDY has shown clearly the most and looks ready for this longer trip.

Royal Dream was winning for the fourth time on the all-weather when scoring at Chelmsford, but he's yet to get his head in front on turf and was well beaten at Yarmouth on his penultimate start. SIEMPRE ARTURO was having his first outing on the grass when fifth at Windsor. There should be more to come from him on this surface, and this doesn't look a strong race. Giselles Defence won on soft going at Pontefract last month, while Flight Of Angels slides further down the handicap.

A wide-open handicap with a chance taken on TARBAAN. He's been operating below his best in recent starts but this drop back in trip rates a likely plus and he's fallen back down to a potentially handy mark. Siempre Arturo was far from disgraced at Windsor latest and he's feared. The returning Olympicus and Chelmsford-scorer Royal Dream are others to consider.

Preference is for SIEMPRE ARTURO, who was a fair fifth on last month's turf debut at Windsor and this race may take a lot less winning.

Although not the most straightforward, BASILETTE has given the impression that a race of this nature is certainly within her reach this season. She responded well to the application of cheekpieces when finishing an excellent second over an extended 1m3f at Lingfield, just finding an in-form rival too strong, and she can go one better. The hat-trick seeking Camacho Man might emerge as the main danger, while the step down in trip looks to be a positive for Ship To Shore.

DEE'S DREAM was a winner off this mark at Brighton last season and she shaped as though her turn may again be near recently at Windsor. The 4-y-o shades preference ahead of Three Dons, who finally opened his account here last month. The hat-trick seeking Camacho Man is also feared, while Basilette has been knocking on the door of late and Dubai Immo isn't without hope either.

The in-form CAMACHO MAN (nap) is taken to complete a hat-trick, although he may have to work harder than of late to achieve it.

Handicap debutant Mutamanni represents the in-form George Boughey team and he warrants serious respect, but he is likely to be well found in the market and STASH THE CASH may offer some value against him. Tim Easterby's charge was runner-up behind a useful sprinter at Musselburgh earlier this month and, eased 1lb, he gets a tentative nod. If the early fractions are brisk, that could help Winged Messenger get competitive, for all that he needs to bounce back from a below-par effort over 6f at Chester.

MUTAMANNI will need to improve to defy his opening mark now handicapping, but there is a good chance he will and he makes most appeal as the least exposed in this field. Stash The Cash found only the useful Pilgrim too good at Musselburgh and is perhaps the danger having been dropped 1 lb.

Doctor Vuby had an excuse last time but so did MASTER OF MY FATE and he has quickly dropped in the weights this season.

BLUE COLLAR LAD shaped with more promise than the bare result suggests when fourth at Wolverhampton last week, staying on strongly before meeting trouble in running close home. Eased 1lb, and granted a clear passage, he may be tough to stop this time around. The step back up to 6f can help Sub Thirteen and, off just 2lb higher than his last winning mark, he commands respect. Rusheen Boy also enters calculations on the strength of his all-weather form during the winter.

SUB THIRTEEN came up short in his hat-trick bid at Salisbury 3 weeks ago but he was hampered early so it was a sound-enough effort. The return to 6f will suit and he's taken to regain the winning thread, perhaps at the chief expense of Blue Collar Lad and Special Mayson.

Special Mayson should make a bold bid but SUB THIRTEEN wasn't seen to best effect last time and can resume winning ways.

Having gone clear before halfway, VOLTAIC eventually clung on gamely to deny Kondratiev Wave over 1m at Brighton last week. With the drop back in trip in his favour, he gets the vote to confirm that form and complete the double. Kondratiev Wave has been running consistently well, though, and won't go down without a fight, while Kodebreaker and Cubanista are others to note.

It's currently 1 apiece between stablemates KONDRATIEV WAVE and Voltaic on recent Brighton form, with the former taken to get back on top having given the latter too much rope last time. Of the rest, Cubanista should give it another good go.

The looks between the Tony Carroll-trained duo, Voltaic and KONDRATIEV WAVE with preference for the latter to reverse placings.

WONDER SMILE only found subsequent easy winner Test Of Love too good over this trip at Salisbury and, with further improvement on the cards, he is fancied to defy a 2lb rise and go one better. Perianth and Indication Court both arrive in winning form and warrant respect, but the bigger danger could prove to be Hurricane Power, who made a promising return at Goodwood and now wears first-time cheekpieces.

The vote goes to WONDER SMILE, who produced his best effort yet when chasing home an improver from the Prescott yard at Salisbury three weeks ago. Perianth hit the target over 6f here last time and, with this step back up in trip unlikely to be an issue, he is a live contender. Hurricane Power completes the shortlist.

This can go to last week's Goodwood handicap third HURRICANE POWER who should improve for the addition of cheekpieces.
