13:55 Killarney Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Jack Kennedy was booked when Zariygann made an impressive debut over hurdles at Roscommon recently and perhaps CHALLY CHUTE can repeat the trick as the same training partnership again links up with the champion jockey. The selection has won four times on the Flat, including over 2m1f here last summer, and arguably put up a career-best effort last time when just denied in the valuable Guinness Handicap at the Galway Festival. Riding arrangements suggest Galway disappointment Where's My Jet is preferred of Willie Mullins pair, while Hashtag Pretender has plenty of jumping experience but is proving a frustrating sort to follow. Spy, The Mediator and Banana Three are others to note.

An interesting maiden and one which can go to CHALLY CHUTE if transferring a large portion of his smart Flat ability over to hurdles at the first attempt. Hashtag Pretender resumed his progress after 11 months off when second at Roscommon 18 days ago and should go well again, with Spy and Mr Escobar others to consider.

Classy Flat performer Chally Chute is a danger to all on hurdling debut but preference, on the grounds of experience, is for SPY

14:30 Killarney Handicap Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

GENERAL CLERMONT won this race last year and has bright prospects of following up as the in-form gelding reverts to hurdles. The selection has won two of his last three starts over fences and impressed when successful over this trip at Wexford earlier this month. Burru rates a threat having made the frame on his latest two starts both over this distance, while The Vegas Raider is another to consider after winning at Ballinrobe last time and the booking of Alex Harvey adds to confidence. C&D winner Vale Of Glory should benefit from his recent reappearance at Kilbeggan, while Craic Eile and Swelltime are also on the shortlist.

THE VEGAS RAIDER opened his account in determined fashion at Ballinrobe 12 days ago and is the percentage call to follow up back up in trip. General Clermont is still not one to trust fully but is doing nothing wrong at present and is potentially well treated back over hurdles on his recent chase form, while Duncarrig and Aussie Warrior are others with claims.

Last year's winner GENERAL CLERMONT returns to hurdles having won two of his last three starts over fences and gets the vote

15:05 Killarney Handicap Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ONEFORTHEDITCH easily won a point-to-point this spring and has progressed since under Rules winning handicap hurdles at Kilbeggan and Cork. A combined rise of 12lb for those victories may not be enough to prevent a hat-trick and Conor Stone-Walsh is a positive booking. Boskill Borden won over two miles at Tramore last summer and indicated another success could be on the cards when upped in trip to be placed behind the progressive Kilashee at Ballinrobe last month. A Nod To Getaway filled the runner-up spot over fences here on Thursday, while Springboard and Smallcraftwarning are others to consider.

ONEFORTHEDITCH is well and truly going the right way now and gets the nod to complete the hat-trick with further progress on the cards. Boskill Borden and Springboard head the opposition.

The hat-trick seeking ONEFORTHEDITCH is upped in grade here but looks the type to make the transition

15:40 Killarney Handicap Hurdle 22f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CHAMPELLA put in an excellent performance to beat a big field in a mares' handicap hurdle over the minimum trip at the Galway Festival. She has winning form over an extended 2m4f, so should cope with this trip. Tom Harney is back on board and his 7lb claim offsets the bulk of the 9lb rise she got for winning in Ballybrit. Littlebiggie has been very consistent throughout 2024 and her victory came over an almost identical trip at this track in May. The returning Real Steel and Gold Speed both have the ability to get involved if fully wound up for action, while Sligo winner Early Arrival is another to note.

FUTURUM REGEM remains potentially on a good mark over hurdles and his recent efforts on the Flat suggests he's still in form. Dorans Law arrives on the back of a career-best win at Ballinrobe and is next best ahead of Littlebiggie.

LITTLEBIGGIE continues to improve and is taken to record a second C&D success of the season

16:15 Killarney Maiden Chase 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

JESSE EVANS has been a terrific money-spinner for Noel Meade and gets the opportunity to add to those gains on his first start over fences. This looks a good spot for his chasing debut as he has won twice before in Killarney. She's A Fine Wine is another set for her first crack at the bigger obstacles. She arrives on the back of a decent fourth place in a competitive handicap hurdle at Galway and won at Ballinrobe on her penultimate start. There is still time for San Salvador to put it all together over fences, while Palace Rock is one to monitor in the market.

Smart hurdler JESSE EVANS is the one to beat if taking to this sphere at the first attempt with most of his rivals arriving with something to prove. She's A Fine Wine was at least progressive over hurdles so is next best ahead of Ballybawn Belter.

It all depends on how some of these take to fences. JESSE EVANS has won over hurdles and on the Flat here and gets the vote

16:50 Killarney Maiden Chase 23f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SOLITARY MAN loves this track and has won his last three races here. On his last outing at this venue, he took the honours by a wide margin and is clearly a chaser to keep on the right side of. Duffle Coat ran a stormer when just beaten half a length into second in the Galway Plate which shows what he is capable of over fences. Staying trips are very much up his street. Easy Fella has form that ties in with Solitary Man, while Horantzau D'airy is up in trip and cannot be ruled out. Pink In The Park enjoyed her first outing over fences when taking a beginners' chase at Galway and may have more to offer.

EASY FELLA's latest effort was a touch underwhelming but the impression he made on debut sticks in the mind and there's likely a good deal more to come, so he gets the nod over Horantzau D'Airy and Solitary Man in what strikes as a well-above-average novice.

A line-up worthy of a Graded contest. The fine course record of SOLITARY MAN earns him the vote and he will enjoy going back up in trip

17:25 Killarney Handicap Chase 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

THE DASHER CONWAY hasn't been out of the first three since winning over this trip at Kilbeggan in May and handled testing conditions when second to a classy type at Galway. Gillian Callaghan's stable star is probably high enough in the ratings at this stage but is likely to give another good account. Railway Hurricane and Grange Walk were a long way behind the selection last time but the former will be suited by a return to this longer trip, while the latter is entitled to improve for what was his first outing in nearly seven months. Gaelic Arc had the selection well back in third when winning easily here in July but is up in trip on softer ground.

EL CHAMPO was third to The Dasher Conway when last seen three months ago but arrives on better terms with that rival and with cheekpieces refitted, so he's the most appealing. Gaelic Art scored with authority last time and deserves respect despite having a double-figure rise to contend with.

Wide open and worth taking a chance on the unexposed EL CHAMPO on returning from a break, especially if the ground softens

17:55 Killarney NH Flat Race 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

PURE LOGIC has been runner-up in all three starts and looks the one to beat. Shark Hanlon's filly went close at Tipperary two runs back and had the winner of that race behind her in fifth when running with plenty of credit in a winners' contest at Galway. She handled soft ground on that occasion and can capitalise on what looks a good opportunity. Shock Galway winner Brave Crogha has to concede plenty of weight under his penalty, while Lord Ffrench has shown promise in both starts and there should be more to come.

PURE LOGIC has found one too good on each of her three starts to date but this might be her most straightforward task yet and she's marginally preferred to Leave In Secret, who should reverse form with Brave Corgha from last time. Lord Ffrench isn't totally discounted.

The best form line is PURE LOGIC's second in a winners' contest at Galway; 'Shark' Hanlon's filly is ground-versatile and can take this

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
