17:18 Killarney Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The market is likely to prove informative here and Ballydoyle newcomer SARATOGA may be worth a shot on his debut. The Camelot colt is the tenth foal of a wonderful producer, Dialafara. She has bred seven winners, the most notable of those being Irish Derby and St Leger winner Capri. Apples And Bananas shaped with promise when sixth on his debut at the Curragh and may be the pick of those that have run. Donnacha O'Brien has won this race for the past three years and Wolf Rayet commands respect on his debut. The Camelot colt is out of an American Grade 2 winner.

APPLES AND BANANAS can put his experience to good use having shaped well in a maiden at the Curragh, with this extra 1f sure to suit. Aidan O'Brien won this maiden in 2018 with subsequent Derby winner Anthony Van Dyck, and National Stakes entry Saratoga looks the pick of his 2 newcomers. Sujet is another likely type on debut.

This trip should be fine as a starting point for SARATOGA whose pedigree is geared towards middle distances. Wolf Rayet is feared

17:50 Killarney Stakes 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The 100-rated GALEN sets the standard and this is a nice stepping stone for him after an impressive maiden win at the Curragh last time. The Gleneagles colt chased home City Of Troy on his sole outing at two and after finishing second on his return this season he opened his account in style last time. Beechwood has switched to Paddy Twomey and takes a drop in class now after contesting stakes races on her two outings this term. She ran well when fourth in Listed company at Cork in April and looks the danger. Buttermere Ridge ran with credit when fourth in a decent conditions race at Gowran last month and is still unexposed on his third outing.

GALEN looked a smart prospect when a wide-margin winner of his maiden at the Curragh 16 days ago, form which is backed up by the time, and he can prove too strong for Beechwood and Buttermere Ridge.

Curragh maiden winner GALEN appeals as a colt who can go on to better things and should have too much firepower for these three rivals

18:25 Killarney Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Kevin Prendergast gives Jack Cleary the leg up now in a bid to offset the 7lb rise COPIE CONFORME received for her win at Bellewstown 11 days ago. The Make Believe filly opened her account when dropping back to this trip last time and still looks open to a bit more improvement. Noel Meade has his string in fine form and Gandolfo is interesting back in a handicap having slid a few pounds. The Churchill gelding had some strong maiden form last season and Neil Ryan takes a useful 7lb off his back now. The lightly-weighted Grand Citadel ran well when second at Navan on Saturday and is another for the shortlist.

COPIE CONFORME took a step forward returned to this trip when off the mark at Bellewstown 11 days ago and is taken to follow up with apprentice Jack Cleary offsetting a 7 lb rise. Grand Citadel ran a cracker when second in a big field at Navan on Saturday and is the obvious threat if turned out quickly off the same mark. Avatar Jet is another to consider.

It could be worth taking a chance with GANDOLFO whose only previous handicap start was off 8lb higher in a valuable nursery.

18:55 Killarney Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

PIER PRESSURE ran well for Amy Jo Hayes at Naas last time and looks capable of winning again off this kind of mark. The Kingman gelding went for home a furlong-and-a-half out then but was chased down in the closing stages by stablemate Mr King and Barbapapa. That looked a strong enough contest and he is only a pound higher now. Shigar has been knocking on the door and has to be respected having been left on the same mark as when third at Leopardstown last time. Grey Leader is another who was third at Leopardstown last time and also has to come into calculations.

GREY LEADER got back on track when a close third at Leopardstown on Thursday and gets the vote off the same mark. Shigar and Perfect Poise are feared most.

It may pay to forgive PHYSIQUE for a moderate run last time as the form of his previous third at Limerick was franked last week

19:25 Killarney Maiden 11f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MOTHER NATURE should prove hard to beat. The Justify filly was edged out by a short-head on her first two starts, including by recent Group 3 winner Grateful at the Curragh early last month. She was far from disgraced in the Naas Oaks Trial last time and should be up to taking a maiden of this standard now. She has a mark of 95 and the obvious danger is the Jessica Harrington-trained Riviera Queen, who is rated 87. This Camelot filly also drops in class having been last behind Oaks winner Ezeliya in the Salsabil Stakes at Navan back in April. Alinta may improve from her debut run, when behind the selection, and could be place material.

Paddy Twomey's ALINTA showed plenty to work on when fourth on her Curragh debut and might be worth chancing to improve past more-established pair Mother Nature and Riviera Queen, who drop back to a maiden after competing at listed/Group 3 level last time.

Despite an underwhelming effort in a stakes race last time, it's hard not to give MOTHER EARTH another chance back in maiden company

19:55 Killarney Maiden 11f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ANOTHER NIGHT was the Harrington second-string but attracted market support when fourth at Roscommon in May and her stablemate, sent off a bigger price despite being the mount of Shane Foley, got off the mark at Navan on Saturday. The daughter of Almanzor has had time to mature further and should be suited by the extra furlong of this contest. Sundance Sioux had the benefit of a run in a barrier trial when narrowly beaten over 1m4f at Fairyhouse. He can contend along with Tuba, who steps up in trip from a mile after staying on well for third at Limerick. The latter is bred to appreciate this stiffer test of stamina.

There was plenty to like about SUNDANCE SIOUX's opening Fairyhouse second and he gets a narrow vote ahead of fellow promising once-raced types Tuba and Another Night.

Having shown promise at Roscommon in May, ANOTHER NIGHT has been given time to mature further and the extra furlong here will help

20:25 Killarney Handicap 11f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Three of these finished almost in a line in the 1m2f handicap won by Empress Alma at Naas earlier this month and perhaps BILLIE FRECHETTE can fare best in the rematch. Noel Meade's charge kept on from off the pace to be fourth and should be suited by the extra furlong here. A first-time tongue-tie is fitted and Jamie Powell's claim is a positive. Best Law (third) and Dream Ticket (fifth) are closely matched with the selection on that Naas form and both are fitted with new headgear. Highland Bells finished in front of the Naas winner when fourth at Limerick which brings him into the equation, along with T Or Coffey, who has been running well against older rivals.

BEST LAW shaped well when third at Naas recently and gets a narrow vote ahead of last month's Ballinrobe scorer Gregorina from the in-form Ado McGuinness yard. Noel Meade's Billie Frechette completes the shortlist in this finale.

Perhaps BILLIE FRECHETTE (nap), who shaped like this extra furlong would suit at Naas, can emerge best in a rematch with two rivals
