LTO Selection:

16:40 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GRAND KARAT took a step forward when third at Haydock last time and the first two home from that contest have both earned black-type subsequently. With that in mind, the son of Gleneagles merits the utmost respect here. That said, Military Leader has to be of interest on his racecourse bow given that he is a half-brother to the Group 1-placed Sounds Of Heaven and connections parted with 1,500,000gns to purchase him as a yearling. Orne and Imperial Guard are other interesting newcomers, while Dark Viper completes the shortlist.

GRAND KARAT stepped up on debut when third behind a couple of now useful sorts at Haydock 6 week ago and can put his experience to good use from stall 1. Orne holds an entry for the Futurity Trophy at Doncaster so is a newcomer to note while Dubawi-colt Military Leader is another likely type having fetched 1,500,000 guineas as a yearling.

1,500,000gns yearling Military Leader could be up to the job but GRAND KARAT, whose Haydock third is rock solid, sets the standard.

LTO Selection:

17:15 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Eulace Peacock sets the standard having filled second place in a competitive event over C&D last month, but a chance can be taken on AGE OF BAROQUE. Charlie Appleby's colt is out of an unraced full-sister to the three-time Group 1 winner Golden Lilac and he was a 575,000-euro purchase last year. Fox Legacy showed signs of ability when seventh in a decent maiden at Newbury a month ago and it would be no surprise to see him take a big step forward with the benefit of that experience.

A few in with a squeak but €575,000 yearling AGE OF BAROQUE ticks plenty of boxes and, representing powerful connections, Charlie Appleby's colt is fancied to make a winning debut at the expense of Eulace Peacock, who ran a cracker when runner-up over C&D last month but has the widest stall to contend with this time. Military Artist and City of Delight are a couple of once-raced colts who should take a step forward.

Age Of Baroque is a newcomer of serious interest but Eulace Peacock and FOX LEGACY can put their experience to good use.

LTO Selection:

17:45 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Whispering Words returned from a lengthy absence to get off the mark over a mile at Newmarket last month. The daughter of Dubawi has to be respected on the back of that performance but she may struggle to give 7lb to VENUS ROSEWATER. John and Thady Gosden's filly put in a career best when a close second here two weeks ago and she may have more improvement left to come. Velvet Crush, a stablemate of the selection, is also of interest, while Summer Of Love is noteworthy on her belated racecourse debut.

VENUS ROSEWATER was sixth in the Newmarket novice won by the re-opposing Whispering Words last month, but she has evidently improved since and is taken to open her account at the fourth time of asking. That said, Whispering Words still has potential and is greatly respected, despite the penalty, while Summer of Love, also owned by Godolphin, ticks plenty of the right boxes on paper and needs close attention in the betting.

Charlie Appleby's WHISPERING WORDS bagged a Newmarket novice on last month's seasonal debut and is selected to overcome her penalty.

LTO Selection:

18:15 Kempton Stakes (Class 2) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

OLYMPIC CANDLE may have a 6lb penalty to overcome for getting off the mark in commanding fashion at Ascot earlier in the month, but the drop in trip should not inconvenience him as he looks to follow up. The son of Profitable may have too much for the likes of Salisbury second Debora's Dream and Tsunami Spirit, who shaped with promise when finishing a two-length fourth at Windsor on his debut.

OLYMPIC CANDLE showed the benefit of his initial experience when scoring in good style at Ascot a fortnight ago and he can continue his progress to follow up. The Godolphin colt is taken to see of the challenge of Debora's Dream, who is also open to further improvement upped in trip, with Tsunami Spirit completing the shortlist.

This can go to OLYMPIC CANDLE who was a decisive winner last time and dropping in trip should be no bother.

LTO Selection:

18:45 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

PRIMEVAL has made a perfect start to her career and the step up in trip is likely to bring out further improvement, being a half-sister to multiple Group 2 winner Time Test. A mark of 80 on her handicap debut could also prove lenient, and she gets the vote ahead of last month's C&D winner Rajindri, who has been in very consistent form this season. Newmarket maiden winner Vermilion can also have a say in proceedings.

PRIMEVAL has looked a useful prospect when winning both starts so far, defying a penalty at Windsor with a lot more in hand than the bare margin, and she can complete the hat-trick with the extra furlong likely to suit on handicap debut. Rajindri made it 2 wins from her last 3 races when successful at this C&D last time and is feared most, ahead of Vermilion.

An opening mark of 80 could greatly underestimate PRIMEVAL's potential and she can maintain her unbeaten record.

LTO Selection:

19:15 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

WADACRE GOMEZ had subsequent Sandown winner Born Ruler (third) behind when scoring comfortably at Chelmsford last time out, and the extra furlong in distance may only be a plus as he looks to follow up. Pink Jazz could not have done it any easier here when last seen in February, and he must enter calculations on his return, along with fellow course winner Masqool and Pablo Prince.

WADACRE GOMEZ has a steadily progressive record on AW and is narrowly preferred to fellow 3-y-o Born Ruler, who won nicely at Sandown last Friday. Masqool may prove best of the remainder.

With the form of his Chelmsford win receiving numerous boosts since, WADACRE GOMEZ (nap) can follow up off just a 3lb higher mark.

19:45 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Although Nivelle's Magic is looking for her hat-trick here, she has been put up another 6lb by the handicapper for her Ffos Las success, which may force her to settle for a place. DEE'S DREAM also won last time out, with something in hand, and, although she has a 6lb penalty to carry, connections have decided to strike quickly while she is at the top of her game. Trusty Scout is noted too.

TRUSTY SCOUT continues to shape well and is more than capable off his reduced mark if things drop right for him. Last-time-out winners Nivelle's Magic and Dee's Dream are others to consider.

After a career-best effort on her first crack at 1m4f last time, NIVELLE'S MAGIC can defy a 6lb rise and complete the hat-trick.

LTO Selection:

20:15 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Diamond Dreamer kept on well to win over course and distance last month and warrants serious consideration despite an added 3lb from the handicapper, but preference is for SYMPATHISE. The winner of three in a row from April to June, she was beaten a little over seven lengths at Chepstow in July after pulling too hard but drops back a furlong here which may allow her to dominate. Bungle Bay is admirably consistent and is another likely to get involved.

SYMPATHISE had an excuse when her winning run was ended at Chepstow in July and is worth another chance to show she's still on a favourable mark. Muy Muy Guapo is unlikely to be far away if reproducing the form he showed when second at Salisbury last Friday, while Guiteau showed he can go close off this mark at Epsom 2 starts back.

He failed to reward good support last time but ORIENTAL SPIRIT is handicapped to win and he can get the better of El Hibri.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
