16:55 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Many of these have the potential to progress now pitched into nurseries for the first time, including PENELOPE VALENTINE, who has shown promise in maiden/novice events. An opening mark of 58 looks fair and with a step up to 7f likely so suit, she might provide some value. Cassandraalexandra had been knocking on the door prior to her recent Bath success and she must be respected under a penalty, while others to note include Crocodile River and Poke The Bear.

Preference is for CROCODILE RIVER, who is still low mileage and posted a good fourth on nursery debut at Newbury last month. Cassandraalexandra and Clipsham Noble head the list of dangers.

The particularly interesting handicap debutant ME TARZAN gets the vote, ahead of Crocodile River.

17:30 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Kathleen's Glory was a beaten favourite on her debut last month but she's in good hands and is likely to progress. The market can guide regarding the newcomers, but WILD ANGEL gets the vote. The Too Darn Hot filly, a close relation of the classy Space Blues, looks the part on paper and it would come as no surprise were she to make an immediate impact. Chadleeny will want further in time but she is an interesting contender nevertheless, while Motabaah isn't out of this either.

Godolphin newcomer WILD ANGEL is bred to be smart and gets the vote, with confidence in her chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Kathleen's Glory can step forward from her debut and may prove best of those with previous experience. Chadleeny and Sweet Couture are other interesting debutantes.

A few of the once-raced fillies are open to improvement. WILD ANGEL and Chadleeny look the most noteworthy newcomers.

18:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Airshow returned to form with a commanding success at Salisbury last month and, though respected from 5lb higher, a wide draw could scupper his chances today. With that in mind, preference is for MONSIEUR PATAT, who arrives having recorded three wins from his last five starts. He was raised 4lb for the most recent of those victories but remains well treated on past exploits, and this is not the deepest of contests. Soar Above is another to consider.

AL AMEEN has a reasonable Kempton record and might prove the answer to this tricky handicap. Monsieur Patat is in the winning habit this year and heads the dangers along with Clipsham La Habana and Soar Above. Clive Cox handicap newcomer Dream Seeker needs keeping a close eye on in the betting.

Back on AW, CLIPSHAM LA HABANA (nap) could well record a first win since joining Alice Haynes. Forever A Diamond is second choice.

18:30 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MAHATO impressed when scoring in the style of a useful prospect on his debut over 6f at Windsor last October and, with excuses for his low-key effort when fourth over 7f at Newcastle the following month, he gets the vote to land the spoils on his return to action. There is lots to like about Zip It Up on paper and she may emerge as the main danger to the selection, although the application of a tongue-tie on her debut may be an ominous sign of what is to come. Blue Point filly Dancing Sapphire is respected most out of the remainder.

MAHATO has been off since he disappointed at Newcastle in November but he had looked a good prospect when making a winning debut at Windsor so is worth another chance in a weak event. Zip It Up has a nice pedigree and is from a good stable, so may well emerge as the biggest threat on debut.

Most of these are making their way to handicaps and MAHOTO looks to have been found the ideal opportunity on his return to action.

19:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 8f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

James Tate has his string in fine fettle at present and his BEYOND WORDS looks the one to beat here. The daughter of Frankel dispatched of a subsequent winner when fairly bolting up on her handicap debut over a mile at Southwell last month and an 8lb rise may not be enough to prevent her following up. War Chant showed a likeable attitude when scoring gamely on his penultimate start over an extended mile at Nottingham and, after a not getting a clear run when third at Doncaster most recently, he can give the selection most to think about. Last-time-out winner Zipster is also noteworthy.

MIDNIGHT DRIVE shaped well back from a break at Salisbury recently and can resume winning ways back at the scene of her two victories in the spring. There should be more to come from Southwell handicap debut winner Beyond Words so she's an obvious danger. Ed Walker handicap newcomer Appeal To Glory is also of interest with Tom Marquand booked.

She faces some interesting 3yos this time but the 4yo filly BEYOND WORDS is still very appealing. Midnight Drive is second choice.

19:30 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The form of Cadogan Place's debut victory reads very well in the context of this race and he wasn't disgraced in the Chester Vase most recently, so he must enter calculations. That said, preference is for SHADER. The son of Shamardal left a low-key debut effort behind when bolting up over 1m4f at Southwell recently and, with the promise of more to come, he looks the one to side with. Of the newcomers, Fireblade appeals the most and the betting market may provide more clues.

SHADER pulled clear of the remainder when opening his account at Southwell earlier this month and it's likely we haven't seen the best of him yet. He can follow up. Al Ameed and Cadogan Place look the likeliest dangers.

The manner of his Southwell win suggests that SHADER is capable of defying a 7lb penalty. Al Ameed is second choice.

20:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Warmonger found only a fellow progressive rival too strong at Southwell last time out and another prominent showing looks likely. However, a further 3lb rise in the ratings will make regaining the winning thread tougher for the son of Camelot and recent extended 2m Newcastle winner CLOCKWATCHER shades the vote. Charlie Johnston's colt looks to have more to offer over staying distances and a 3lb nudge up in the ratings is far from insurmountable. Stable debutant Teorie is also noted.

WARMONGER continues to thrive and pulled clear of the remainder when runner-up at Southwell last month. He can resume winning ways. Clockwatcher and Teorie rate the principal dangers.

The two most interesting runners are WARMONGER and Clockwatcher with preference for the former who lost nothing in defeat last time.

20:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 11f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

DARKZIDEOFTHEMOON lost little in defeat when runner-up behind a subsequent winner over C&D in June and a breakthrough victory could be imminent. A 1lb nudge up in the ratings looks negligible for the four-year-old and first-time cheekpieces are a welcome addition. The biggest threat may emerge from Seraphic, who arrives on the back of a close-up third at Windsor. Budding is also reverting to the all-weather having posted a solid second at Ffos Las last month and she may have a say as well.

Lots with chances but DARKZIDEOFTHEMOON is less exposed than most of these and taken to build on his good C&D second after a break and get off the mark. Budding showed the benefit of a wind op when runner-up at Ffos Las last time out and heads the list of dangers ahead of in-form pair Maruna and Seraphic.

Darkzideofthemoon is respected but BUDDING will be suited by moving away from slow turf and has good claims on her May form.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
