LTO Selection:

18:00 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MEASURED TIME accounted for a useful rival when making a winning debut over C&D in February and the son of Frankel merits plenty of respect on his return to action, despite carrying a 6lb penalty. Godwinson and Botanical have also shown a high level of ability already and they are likely to be the main threats to the selection. That said, Lahab should not be underestimated and Marching Band is a noteworthy newcomer.

MEASURED TIME looked a smart prospect when making a winning debut at this C&D in February, putting the race to bed in good style, and he can score again with plenty more to come. The son of Frankel is taken to see off the challenge of Botanical and Godwinson, who are both open to further improvement having also won on their latest outings.

The vote goes to BOTANICAL who went close on his debut here before winning at Hamilton. The stable won a division of this last year.

LTO Selection:

18:30 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Quatre Bras was out of his depth in Group 2 company last time but the son of Sea The Stars was not beaten far on debut and clearly sets the standard at this level. However, a chance can be taken with CLASSIC ENCOUNTER, who lacks race experience but his dam won a Grade 1 in the US and he is a half-brother to the Listed-placed First Ruler. Miletus is another well-related newcomer who merits consideration.

CLASSIC ENCOUNTER, a Shamardal colt out of a Grade 1-winning half-sister to Ghaiyyath, possesses an outstanding pedigree and despite being drawn widest on debut, is taken to make a successful debut. Fellow newcomer Miletus also warrants plenty of respect, whilst Quatre Bras can build on his encouraging debut effort back in more realistic company.

Preference is for MILETUS, who is attractively bred and whose Champagne Stakes entry suggests he is held in some regard.

LTO Selection:

19:00 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Connections had to part with 625,000gns to purchase IMPORTANT ROLE as a yearling and it would be no surprise to see the son of Dubawi make a winning debut for his in-form yard. Crimson Road was not disgraced on his racecourse bow at Salisbury in June and he is entitled to improve significantly for that experience. Savvy Kingdom is a player based on his first outing but his most recent effort was very disappointing, while any market support for Royal Tapestry would have to be noted.

Charlie Appleby's Dubawi colt IMPORTANT ROLE fetched 625,000gns as a yearling and is bred to be useful so is taken to make a winning start at the chief expense of fellow debutant Royal Tapestry who also catches the eye on paper. Crimson Road appeals as much the pick of those with experience and can claim minor honours.

As with the first leg this may go to a newcomer. IMPORTANT ROLE makes plenty of appeal on breeding and can make a successful debut.

LTO Selection:

19:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Love Yours ran her best race yet when a four-length fifth here in a novice stakes lsat month and she could go well on her handicap debut for a stable in great form. However, MARIAMNE looks the more sensible suggestion as this looks an easier race than her Windsor fourth latest and, with a 5f Wolverhampton success in May on her CV, she could shoulder top-weight to victory. Fengari is another to consider, although she needs to get home over a sixth furlong on her second attempt at the trip after her midfield finish in a far better race over shorter at Newbury.

In a tight-looking affair the suggestion is SAYIDH KINGMAN with William Buick booked. Mr Baloo has reached the frame in a couple of turf nurseries and should play a part if a wide stall isn't too big of an inconvenience. Ralph Beckett's Love Yours is a potential improver in handicaps and also makes the shortlist.

Another chance is given to MARIAMNE who won at Wolverhampton in May and may benefit from the application of a tongue-tie.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

In an interesting renewal, Marmara Sea seems to have chances on her return to the all-weather after a nine-length third at Newmarket on turf and that followed a one-length second over this trip at Lingfield. Let Life Happen is another for the shortlist after coming home second on both of her starts to date and she can also go well, but COCO ROYALE could be the one beat. Fifth and only beaten three lengths on her debut here, she was weak in the market that day and looked the sort to improve considerably for the experience.

LET LIFE HAPPEN was turned over by Fifth Harmonic at Carlisle last time but she's weighted to reverse the form and she shaped well behind a subsequent winner at this track on debut, so she's taken to open her account at the third time of asking. Mistressofillusion is going the right way, so she could pose the biggest threat for all that Coco Royale is likely to step up on her encouraging debut.

A length separated Fifth Harmonic and LET LIFE HAPPEN at Carlisle last month. The latter can reverse the form on 7lb better terms.

20:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

OKAMI ran on well over a furlong shorter to win by a head at Chelmsford last month and an added 2lb from the handicapper may not stop him following up now upped in trip for the stable who won this in 2019. Supaspecialawesome drops in class after running acceptably without success in better races and he could be a danger to all, while Musical Tribute was only beaten a neck when third over shorter at Leicester and is well worth another try at 7f here.

OKAMI came with a late surge to make a winning handicap debut at Chelmsford 15 days ago and he can follow up with this extra furlong to suit. The main danger could be Musical Tribute, who wasn't beaten far on her latest outing despite racing away from the front pair, while Supaspecialawesome also enters calculations back on all-weather.

Leading in the final strides over 6f last time showed that OKAMI (nap) was improving and likely to be well suited by 7f.

21:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having been narrowly denied at Chester in May, PONS AELIUS made no mistake when winning at Goodwood the following month. Charlie Johnston's colt was a winner over course and distance from a 2lb lower mark in December and the son of Galileo could continue to progress over marathon trips. Arcadian Friend (also engaged to run at Chelmsford on Tuesday evening) hit the woodwork at Lingfield last month and he's likely to be in the thick of things once again. A step up in trip could suit the lightly-raced Fox Vision and he heads the remainder.

ARCADIAN FRIEND was only beaten by a comparatively pacy rival when narrowly denied in a slowly-run event at Lingfield last time and Sir Mark Prescott's four-year-old looks a stayer to stay on the right side of, so would make plenty of appeal if coming here rather than his engagement at Chelmsford on Tuesday. The consistent Pons Aelius perhaps looks best placed to take advantage in the selection's absence, whilst Andrew Balding's handicap newcomer Berkshire Sundance also makes appeal.

Pons Aelius looks easily the most solid candidate but DIVYA has shaped as if going beyond 1m4f could be the making of her.
