17:05 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

STOCKPYLE just lost out on third-place prize money in the final strides when fourth in a class 4 event at Southwell in April, but that was an encouraging return to action. The son of Oasis Dreams remains on the same mark and he could take full advantage of this drop in grade. The main danger is the in-form Powdering, who seeks the four-timer after scoring at Beverley recently and she ought to have a say once again, while Dutch Kingdom is noted too.

POWDERING is thriving at present and taking her racing well, so she's fancied to add to her sequence having been well on top at the finish when scoring at Beverley a week ago. Stockpyle is likely to be on the premises and Epic Express should benefit from the return to AW.

Powdering is in the form of her life but there could be some mileage in taking her on with Epic Express and STOCKPYLE.

17:35 Kempton Maiden (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

JEWEL OF LONDON shaped with bundles of promise when only being denied by a length and a half on her debut at Goodwood last month and she could take a big leap forward from that. 260,000gns purchase Celestial Orbit is a fascinating newcomer to keep an eye on in the market, with Jamie Spencer booked for the Ollie Sangster team, while Remaat should improve on her debut sixth at Thirsk.

JEWEL OF LONDON fared best of the newcomers when third in what is traditionally a decent Goodwood maiden 11 days ago so appeals as the most likely winner. Expensive yearlings Tales of The Heart and Celestial Orbit make the most appeal out of the newcomers.

Hourglass Of Light and Remaat can both improve upon their debut runs but so too can JEWEL OF LONDON and she is the clear pick.

18:10 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Summer Of Love beat a 77-rated rival by just over four lengths over track and trip in October, form which obviously gives her a big shout in this contest despite her penalty. However, SMART HERO looks the way to go. The son of Shamardal produced an eye-catching debut effort to fill the runner-up spot over C&D in April before running way too free and blowing his chance at Southwell next time. The return to this track and trip and a change in tactics could see him in a much better light, while Ten Pounds and Murashah are just two others to consider.

SUMMER OF LOVE didn't beat a great bunch over C&D in the autumn but she did it really easily and given her pedigree/connections, is the type to progress again as a 4-y-o. There's depth to this novice but she can concede weight all round, perhaps at the chief expense of Murashah and Ten Pounds.

Murashah is an intriguing runner after an absence but TEN POUNDS looks the type to take a big step forward with a run behind him.

18:40 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Storm Star made a sparkling introduction when accounting for a subsequent winner with previous experience at Newcastle, although he will do well to successfully concede weight to some similarly promising three-year-olds that include Cat Ninja, who looked good at Windsor. Coronado King can step up on his Doncaster third, but DOSMAN was 11/10 for a Leicester maiden won by Derby runner-up Ambiente Friendly on debut. He had to settle for fourth, but with the runner-up and third now rated 88 and 92 respectively, the form is very strong.

Despite flashing her tail early, CAT NINJA proved determined in the finish when opening her account at the second attempt in a Windsor maiden 16 days ago and with the drop back in trip not expected to inconvenience her, she looks a big player again with the prospect of more to come. There are several other likely improvers of interest also, headed up by Coronado King, Storm Star and Dosman.

The penalised pair Cat Ninja and STORM STAR appeal most and the selection can maintain his unbeaten record now up to 7f.

19:15 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SO LOGICAL made amends for an odds-on defeat on her comeback when getting off the mark in no uncertain terms at Newcastle, and she took another big step forward when making a successful handicap bow at Newmarket. A 3lb rise may be lenient and she is preferred to Rascal Recknell, who also atoned for a costly second when landing the odds in a Lingfield maiden. Star Pupil displayed a good attitude to break through at Wolverhampton, while Sunfall is surely better than she showed on her own handicap debut.

A few of these offer potential, not least STAR PUPIL who is taken to follow up his Wolverhampton novice success now pitched into handicap company with this longer trip a likely plus too. So Logical rates a big threat in her hat-trick bid with Sunfall, City House, North View and Galloping On also well in the mix in an intriguing handicap.

So Logical is a solid option but CITY HOUSE (nap)'s hugely impressive course win last season is still fresh in the mind.

19:45 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MISS KUBELIK, just a length behind 1000 Guineas heroine Elmalka on debut, built on her Newmarket reappearance when breaking her duck at Bath. She probably got the run of the race, but still showed a pleasing attitude and an initial mark of 83 seems fair. Cheshire Dancer has been a model of consistency so far and should be thereabouts again, although Miss Information might be the bigger threat after her encouraging return when third at Newmarket.

With her debut form proving to be strong, MISS KUBELIK opened her account with a bit in hand at Bath 3 weeks ago and she can continue her progress to follow up on her handicap bow. Eleftheria was third to a subsequent listed winner at Southwell last time and is feared most, ahead of Turn Up The Heat.

An interesting fillies' event in which MISS KUBELIK can take another step forward. Miss Information can chase her home.

20:15 Kempton Handicap (Class 3) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

CRACKSKING caught the eye when staying on well to finish a neck second over 1m2f at Newbury recently and the step back up in trip could help him to go one better here, despite a 2lb rise. The unexposed Insanity is an obvious threat to the selection following his Windsor success in April, while Chase The Dollar and Artisan Dancer are others who could go well.

CRACKSKING had some strong form to his name last season and was beaten only by a progressive rival at Newbury last month, so shouldn't be far away from going one place better if producing a similar performance here. Insanity is still low mileage on the Flat and is highly respected on the back of his Windsor success, with the reliable Flower of Dubai also respected on her return.

There's an interesting array of plausible options but they might just be headed by bottomweight SELWAN, who showed promise at Chester.

20:50 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ZORAN hit the crossbar off this mark over C&D when last seen in April and the seven-year-old sets the standard on the back of that performance. Sailing On has to prove that he stays this far but his form over 1m6f last year was encouraging and he should not be underestimated. A Gift Of Love failed to fire last time but it is far too soon to be writing her off, while Moel Arthur is also noted.

A GIFT OF LOVE seemed unsuited by conditions when finishing tailed off at Doncaster on handicap debut just under 6 weeks ago, so another chance is given to Charlie Fellowes' 4-y-o returned to a synthetic surface. He can get the better of Moel Arthur, who backed up his reappearance effort when fourth over C&D 8 weeks ago. Sailing On completes the shortlist making his all-weather debut.

Zoran and Moel Arthur are highly respected but both may fall prey to MASTER GREY.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
