13:05 Huntingdon Handicap Chase (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Jacks Touch registered a third triumph of the season when scoring with ease over 2m4f here and a 7lb rise in the ratings shouldn't prevent another bold bid. However, PRESENTING A QUEEN's runner-up effort in a class 2 event at Hereford in December may prove the stronger form. The seven-year-old should enjoy this drop in class and she edges the vote. Last-time-out Fontwell winner Flintara could also prove dangerous if allowed an easy lead.

JACKS TOUCH has taken well to chasing this season, making it 3 wins from 5 starts over fences with a ready success at this course last time, so she can go on to score again with this step up in trip likely to suit. Flintara was a wide-margin winner at Fontwell on her latest outing and could be the biggest threat, ahead of Terresita.

The rematch between Jacks Touch and Terresita could go either way. PRESENTING A QUEEN and Flintara are other big players.

13:40 Huntingdon Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Last week's ready Wincanton scorer NORDIC TIGER escapes a penalty on this quick turnaround. Harry Derham's gelding is 10lb well-in compared to his revised mark and a quickfire double looks a strong possibility. Goblet Of Fire shed his maiden tag over hurdles at the chief expense of a subsequent winner at Hereford and he may serve the most resistance to the selection, with his 12lb weight-for-age allowance a big advantage. Taunton scorer Quian completes the shortlist.

Cases can be made for quite a few, but it was hard not to be impressed by NORDIC TIGER'S manner of victory at Wincanton last week and he's hard to get away from given he escapes a penalty for that success. Goblet of Fire and Orchestra are a pair of interesting handicap debutants, and they head the opposition.

Nordic Tiger has a great chance provided he copes with the drop back in trip. GOBLET OF FIRE and Quian are also appealing.

14:15 Huntingdon Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

KITSILANO opened his account under Rules when landing the spoils over hurdles at Clonmel in December. The seven-year-old has since joined the David Bridgwater yard and he's taken to follow up on this return to chasing. King Of Brazil lurks on a dangerous mark and could prove a potential fly in the ointment if a wind procedure unlocks some potential, while Generous Day may have been freshened up by a 72-day break.

GENEROUS DAY could be worth chancing dropping in class with his yard having had a welcome winner over the weekend. Friary Rock was too bad to be true last time so is expected to bounce back, while Master Malcolm could also return to form back at this venue.

Back at Huntingdon the percentage call goes to MASTER MALCOLM. Second choice is American Gerry.

14:50 Huntingdon Novices Hurdle (Class 1) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Impressive Warwick winner Diamond Ri and the unbeaten Handstands warrant consideration on the back of some assured performances, but the suspicion is that JANGO BAIE may have too much for these rivals. Nicky Henderson's charge won the Grade 1 Formby Novices' Hurdle going away at Aintree on Boxing Day and with this step up in trip promising to suit, he should be able to show his rivals a clean pair of heels, and may even confirm his Cheltenham Festival ticket.

JANGO BAIE found plenty under pressure to score in Grade 1 company last time and sets a clear standard in a race the yard used as a stepping stone for Shishkin 4 years ago. There's little to split the remaining trio in form terms, with all looking open to plenty of improvement, Handstands getting the fractional vote for second.

Unbeaten HANDSTANDS is taken to improve further and beat Jango Baie whose Grade 1 win came in somewhat fortunate circumstances.

15:25 Huntingdon Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Urban Soldier arrives on the back of a solid third at Doncaster, but he will need to improve on his jumping if he is to go two places better. Preference is for SPITALFIELD, who gives the impression that the step up to this trip can suit and off 1lb lower than when finishing fourth over an extended 2m2f at Market Rasen, he can make a bold bid for the gold medal. Barricane is capable of winning a race of this nature if on a going day, but inconsistency continues to be the main concern with him.

SPITALFIELD is steadily going in the right direction and he's bred to get the longer trip, so a chance is taken on him to open his account over hurdles. Urban Soldier is a big threat on the back of a positive start for his new yard and Barricane can't be dismissed returning to hurdling.

Unexposed URBAN SOLDIER (nap) is taken to build on his solid Doncaster effort and get off the mark. Spitalfield is second choice.

16:00 Huntingdon Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HERMES LE GRIS was having his first start for this stable when falling two from home at Southwell last week and he can make a solid fist of trying to atone for that mishap off the same mark. Provided the application of a tongue-tie and cheekpieces has the desired effect, Mrs Grimley has the ability to at least hit the frame in a race of this nature, while Crossbeau also rates as shortlist material.

Preference is for HERMES LE GRIS, who was in control when departing 2 out at Southwell last week and is able to race off the same mark here. Crossbeau was also unfortunate not to score at Chepstow last time and looks the obvious danger, whilst Mattie Ross may be the pick of several interesting handicap debutants.

With so few solid recommendations among the rest, this may be best left to last week's unlucky pair HERMES LE GRIS and Crossbeau.

16:35 Huntingdon NH Flat Race (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

DUNSKAY was outclassed in a Listed bumper at Ascot in December, having made a winning start to his career at Exeter the time before. The booking of Harry Cobden catches the eye and the five-year-old may prove capable of defying a 7lb penalty. Blue Las is a half-sister to a Listed-placed hurdler and she has to be of interest along with Shy Love, a half-brother to Grade 1 winner Brandy Love, and Jimmyjeroo.

DUNSKAY looked a good prospect when scoring at Exeter on debut and with his subsequent effort in a listed race easy enough to put a line through, Ben Pauling's 5-y-o is fancied to resume his progress. Absolutely Fine, Big Ginge and Fergal O'Brien's pair Shy Love and Ol' Man Brando rate as likely dangers before the benefit of market clues.

Dunskay sets the standard, while BLUE LAS, Shy Love, Ol' Man Brando and Big Ginge are very interesting newcomers.
