13:50 Hereford Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

PARADE AWAY had shown a decent level of form in bumpers prior to winning one at Stratford in May and the Jet Away gelding looks to have been found a good opportunity now sent over timber. Titan Discovery, who has filled the runner-up berth on both of his starts, might be the main danger. Meranti should not be underestimated but he needs to improve.

PARADE AWAY progressed nicely in bumpers during the spring, winning at Stratford, and he's been found a really good opportunity switched to timber. Titan Discovery wasn't far off the selection's ability in that sphere and is the obvious threat.

Titan Discovery should make a race of this but PARADE AWAY created a pretty good impression when winning a bumper in May.

LTO Selection:

14:25 Hereford Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A difficult race to unpick with little hurdling form in the book, so only a tentative vote can go to SISTER JULIENNE. Her best effort to date came when filling the runner-up spot in a C&D bumper in February and it would be no surprise if Donald McCain's mare, who is related to a French hurdles winner, took a step forward here. Bangor winner Tique must enter calculations, along with Sammy's Guarantee, who was picked up by Tom Lacey having hit the woodwork in an Irish point-to-point 192 days ago.

SAMMY'S GUARANTEE is bred to come into her own over longer trips in due course, but she starts out over hurdles at a decidedly ordinary level, so gets the nod for a stable that has had plenty run well in the last fortnight or so. Tique was making headway when falling 3 out on her Newton Abbot hurdling debut when last seen and has to enter calculations, while On Se Calme wouldn't be without hope if building on a considerate return at Market Rasen.

This can go to Bangor bumper winner TIQUE, who jumped fairly well until an unfortunate mishap on her hurdling debut in June.

LTO Selection:

15:00 Hereford Handicap Chase (Class 5) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MEECHLANDS MAGIC must saddle a penalty having romped home at Worcester last week, but he was out of the handicap that day so actually competes off a 3lb lower mark now and might be a tough nut to crack. Frankie Faulkner has been a model of consistency in recent starts and is unlikely to be far away. Deadly Missile, who finished a good second at Market Rasen, appeals most of the remainder.

This looks likely to go to penalised-winner MEECHLANDS MAGIC, who scored from 10 lb out of the handicap at Worcester and is racing off 3 lb lower here despite his penalty, gets the nod. Frankie Faulkner and Can't Beat History can take minor honours.

The choice is MEECHLANDS MAGIC who showed improved form when winning from 10lb out of the handicap last week.

LTO Selection:

15:35 Hereford Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CLASSIC CONCORDE has proved a thoroughly likeable performer of late, as seen earlier in the month when making all to land a hat-trick at Bangor, and the veteran is taken to add another victory to his tally off only 3lb higher in the ratings here. Fine By Me merits respect for a stable in red-hot form and the Nigel Twiston-Davies' inmate may emerge as the chief threat to the selection, ahead of Kentford Mallard, who should appreciate the extra distance.

Trappy stuff and it's probably worth sticking with the thriving CLASSIC CONCORDE. He proved very game when scoring at Bangor and could get the 4-timer up in his current mood. Johnny B is interesting on his return, while it's too soon to write off Lady Berlais for Dan Skelton.

The answer might be POTTLERATH, who has a good record at this track and won't mind if the ground is on the quick side of good.

LTO Selection:

16:10 Hereford Handicap Chase (Class 5) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SINISTER MINISTER appreciated the drop from 3m to an extended 2m4f when landing the spoils at Bangor recently. Sheila Lewis' gelding is effectively 2lb lower here with Finn Lambert's 5lb claim negating a 3lb rise in the handicap and he should take all the beating. Fellow last-time-out winner Ben Buie likely has more to come in a retained visor and looks a big threat if seeing out the longer trip, while Hellfire Princess also makes some appeal on her chasing/seasonal debut.

The one who appeals most is FAMILY POT, who made a winning reappearance last season on the back of a similar period of absence and is just 2 lb above the mark off which he gained the second of his two victories here in February. Sir Jack West should be spot-on following a couple of spins over hurdles and he is feared most ahead of recent Bangor scorer Sinister Minister.

Preference is for dual course winner FAMILY POT, who signed off with a good run over C&D in April and won when fresh a year ago.

LTO Selection:

16:45 Hereford Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

HAPPY INDEX threw away her chance when hitting the last at Fontwell over further in May, though compensation may await the daughter of Blue Bresil on this occasion. The drop in trip should suit and this unexposed five-year-old may have too much for the consistent Come On Du Berlais and Never No Trouble, who has been placed on six of her last seven starts.

OCEAN REACH was effectively third off a stone higher last time and might be worth a chance to show that doesn't flatter her. The consistent Never No Trouble is second choice ahead of Happy Index.

After running a big race in defeat at Bangor six weeks ago, NEVER NO TROUBLE (nap) returns to the scene of her maiden win in February.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A taking winner on both his first run for new connections and after wind surgery at Stratford last week, TOP CLOUD must hold every chance of following up on what is just his seventh career outing. He was racing from 4lb out of the handicap that day and, as he escapes a penalty for landing that conditional jockeys' race, he is actually 4lb lower today now back off his true mark. Samatian may not have been in action since January but he was consistent throughout last season and has won fresh before, while Ranco also has the form to get involved in proceedings. Others to note include Archie Macdart, Inspector Lynley and Robeam.

TOP CLOUD took a big step forward on his first run for Robbie Llewellyn when going in at Stratford and is weighted to follow up off a 4 lb lower mark here. Samatian has won off a break so is next on the list on his seasonal return ahead of the lightly raced Nickelforce.

It's very hard to see beyond TOP CLOUD, who is effectively 4lb lower than when winning in good style on his recent stable debut.
