14:20 Fontwell Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Newbury bumper winner NAVAJO INDY has achieved a decent level of form in two outings over hurdles and stepping up in trip is unlikely to cause any problems for Tom Symonds' gelding. High Treason may benefit from a first-time tongue-tie following his latest fourth at Leicester when reported to be suffering with a breathing issue, while Yalla Habibi is taken to step forward from his hurdling bow here last month.

A fairly useful winner in bumpers, NAVAJO INDY has shaped up well in finishing runner-up both starts over hurdles and this looks an excellent opportunity for him to open his account in this sphere. High Treason may emerge as the principal danger.

This will surely go to NAVAJO INDY who has easily the best form thanks to his Newbury second, when the first two drew 15l clear.

14:50 Fontwell Handicap Chase (Class 4) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

PILOT SHOW had been enjoying a consistent season until his latest effort when pulled up at Wincanton. That said, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the seven-year-old bounce back from that display to gain a second career victory. Haut Folin is capable of being in the mix based on his recent performances, while others for the shortlist include Earth King and Eclair De Guye.

Course scorer ART DECCO figures on a handy mark so is worth forgiving his lesser effort at Exeter now cheekpieces are applied and gets the vote. Ludlow runner-up Haut Folin is feared most, although both Well Dick and Pilot Show could have a say too in a very open contest.

Not one of these runners showed their form last time out. A chance is taken on GERICO VILLE on his third attempt over fences.

15:20 Fontwell Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

HE'S A LATCHICO went up 4lb for finishing second to a smart type of Paul Nicholls' at Lingfield's Winter Million fixture and without a rival of that calibre in the line-up, Gary Moore's charge makes plenty of appeal in his bid to go one better. Torneo built on his third to Sir Gino at Kempton when scoring with the minimum of fuss at Wetherby and he is likely to pose a strong threat on his handicap bow. Heure De Gloire, Bucephalus and Copper Cove appeal most of the remainder.

HE'S A LATCHICO shaped well in finishing clear of the rest with a fellow improver at Lingfield last month and is a confident selection to maintain his unbeaten record at this track. Fairly useful Flat winner Torneo is easily most interesting of the opposition now switched to a handicap armed with a handy 4-y-o weight allowance. Bucephalus is proving consistent and makes most appeal of the rest.

Copper Cove, He's A Latchico and Heure De Gloire are highly respected but may prove vulnerable to the ex-French 4yo TORNEO.

15:50 Fontwell Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

In a race lacking depth, Wincanton runner-up West Orchard has more going for him than most. First-time cheekpieces appeared to spark his interest that day and Joe Tizzard's inmate should give another good account of himself. However, course scorer LIGHTONTHEWING has returned to his last winning mark and he could take some pegging back if allowed an easy lead. Mortens Leam also makes some appeal on this drop in distance.

Gary Moore holds quite a strong hand and, while WALK IN THE WILD hasn't been in top form, he's a likely candidate to bounce back after a wind op/in a first-time tongue tie, so he's the tentative choice. West Orchard arrives on the back of a solid showing and is feared along with Valirann Gold.

With apparently no solid options, WALK IN THE WILD gets the vote following wind surgery and with his tongue tied for the first time.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BOBALOT appeared revitalised by the combination of a 59-day break and return to hurdles when scoring with something in hand over C&D last month. Ben Clarke's gelding still remains in class 5 company and he could make light work of a 7lb rise in the handicap. Fellow last-time-out winners Sangiovese and Bitsnbuckles are sure to have their supporters in the market too, in a race that is likely to work out well.

Gary Moore's SANGIOVESE appeals as the sort to keep on improving now sent into handicaps and can make light of 7 lb rise for his emphatic Southwell success. Olly Murphy's Huntingdon victor Bitsnbuckles also has better days ahead of him and rates the obvious threat with C&D winner Bobalot and handicap debutant How And Ever in the mix too in an intriguing contest.

Sangiovese impressed in the end at Southwell but went in snatches. Preference is for BITSNBUCKLES (nap) after his Huntingdon win.

16:55 Fontwell Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CEEJAYBE found only a handicap blot too strong at Huntingdon last week and the Jo Davis-trained juvenile must hold every chance of finishing one place better if coping with the quick turnaround. Time To Dazzle was runner-up on his handicap bow over two miles at Uttoxeter and this stiffer test of stamina is likely to suit. Any market support for All Under Control off an opening mark of 74 would be interesting. Goguenard is an obvious contender after bypassing Tuesday's Lingfield engagement.

TIME TO DAZZLE took a significant step forward when runner-up on his handicap debut at Uttoxeter last time and he boasts excellent claims of going one better at the possible expense of Ceejaybe, who ran well at Huntingdon last week. Goguenard is another big danger.

Ceejaybe, Goguenard and Time To Dazzle have claims but, from 5lb wrong, QUEEN OF STEEL could prove well suited by the trip.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses.
