The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Danny Murphy and Oisin Sweeney have successful teamed up here at the last two Friday evening meetings including with Group 3 winner Dun Na Sead and perhaps MAGGIE MCGRATH can keep the sequence going. The selection was placed twice over C&D as a juvenile and was probably unsuited by soft ground on a number of occasions this season. Charlie Brow'n showed plenty of speed when third over six furlongs at Cork before getting stuck in the mud at the Curragh last time, while If But Maybe also showed pace on debut here last month and should be suited by the drop back to the minimum trip. Billboa made a promising debut here in the spring before disappointing on soft ground.
MAGGIE MCGRATH and Reinforce have disappointed of late but they both have strong claims on the pick of their form starting out for the in-form Daniel James Murphy. Cholita ran her best race yet when third at Navan and is another to consider.
Modest fare with a tentative vote going to MAGGIE MCGRATH, who finished second in a similar race this time last year

11/1(-47%) | (11) Arch Enemy 11/1, Course winner. Below form ninth of 16 in handicap at Galway (7f, heavy, 8/1) 11 days ago, inadequate test. Significantly back up in trip. Merits consideration. Course winner; below form in 2 starts last month on heavy but not ruled out back on AW. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (8) (6/1 +33%) Dabana |
6/1(+33%) | (8) Dabana 6/1, Course winner. 14/1, good third of 10 in handicap at Sligo (10.5f, good to soft) in August, headed well inside final 1f. Absent since but she remains less exposed than most on AW. Not out of things. Course winner over 1m at start of the year; not beaten far back up at this trip latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (9) (22/1 -57%) Turf Range |
22/1(-57%) | (9) Turf Range 22/1, 4-time course winner. Last of 13 in handicap (14/1) at this course (12f). Off 121 days. Cheekpieces back on. Badly out of form when last seen, including when last of 13 here latest; off 121 days. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (13) (33/1 +34%) Cursory Exam |
33/1(+34%) | (13) Cursory Exam 33/1, 3-time C&D winner. Twelfth of 14 in handicap at this C&D (28/1) 21 days ago, headed early in the straight and weakening. Needs to leave that well behind to figure. All 3 wins have come over C&D but lost his way; no signs of return to form over C&D lately. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (6) (25/1 +24%) Royal Pippen |
25/1(+24%) | (6) Royal Pippen 25/1, 80/1, ninth of 10 in handicap at this C&D 21 days ago, ridden entering straight and fading. Needs to bounce back. Losing run goes back over 2 years; poor form of late and yet to show any form at this trip. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
CHAVAJOD scored on his first start for current connections over a mile at Leopardstown back in May and ran well subsequently over 1m2f at Roscommon. He shaped well over C&D last time when again coming from well off the pace behind Machnamh. Celtic Revival is an obvious threat bidding for a hat-trick after two wins here over 1m4f but the drop back in trip is a concern given all five career victories have now come here over that distance. Yokkell has joined John McConnell from Jarlath Fahey since finishing third to Jaafel here last month while Dabana and Spy are others to consider.
A dual winner on turf during the spring, YOU OWE ME MONEY has been shaping as though a return to this sort of trip will suit ideally in turf handicaps this autumn and, in a competitive race, she could be worth chancing to come out on top back on all weather. Celtic Revival is thriving and rates the chief threat in his hat-trick bid. Arch Enemy and No Thanks complete the shortlist.
It may be worth taking a chance on WALHAAN who wasn't beaten far over C&D earlier in the year; he remains on workable mark

WHISPERSINTHEWIND caught the eye on debut over C&D and given normal improvement should prove difficult to beat. The Donnacha O'Brien-trained daughter of Churchill is obviously held in some regard as she attracted support in the morning and made steady headway inside the final quarter mile to take third behind Milliat. Sweetest has been placed on all five outings in sprint maidens including here last Friday behind the impressive Moral Turpitude and it will be interesting to see how she copes with this step up in trip. There are plenty of well-bred newcomers from leading yards to keep a close eye on in the market including the Frankel filly Quadruple and the Joseph O'Brien-trained pair Foolish Love and Supreme Success.
An interesting maiden for this time of year with the vote in favour of WHISPERSINTHEWIND. She shaped with plenty of promise when third on debut in a C&D maiden 6 weeks ago, coming from much further back than the pair that beat her and looks sure to have derived plenty from that. Quadruple is a most interesting newcomer and she's feared, with Sweetest, Clarita and Starry Dew others to note.
WHISPERSINTHEWIND ran a big race over C&D on rules debut and with further progress likely, she's the one to beat

10th (9) (28/1 -522%) Keep In Touch |
28/1(-522%) | (9) Keep In Touch 28/1, Useful filly. 16/1 and blinkered for 1st time, creditable 4½ lengths fifth of 10 to Snapraeterea in Concorde Stakes at Tipperary (7.4f, heavy) 40 days ago. Makes polytrack debut. Visor back on. One to consider. AW debut and major chance on best form but hasn't always looked the strongest finisher. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

11/4(+73%) | (5) Vadiana 11/4, Fairly useful filly. 3/1, career best when winning 11-runner handicap at this course (7f) 21 days ago. This demands more, however. Recent handicap winner could well improve again so don't rule out nicking some black type. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
DIDN'THAVEMUCHTODO has been knocking on the door in Listed races and may finally make the breakthrough here. The Joseph O'Brien-trained filly has yet to race on the all-weather but appears versatile ground wise on turf and went close to gaining big black type when beaten a head by Salt Lake City at Killarney in August. She again ran with credit over a mile at Naas last time and is preferred to Keep In Touch. The Moyglare Stud homebred was only denied by a neck in the Listed Corrib Stakes at the Galway Festival and is another making his debut at this venue. Persian Jewel has a different profile having only won her maiden in good style here last Friday while Hodd's Girl and UK raider Behind The Scenes also have winning form on the all-weather.
HODD'S GIRL holds the edge on form and can boast a superb record round here so gets the nod in a competitive listed contest. Didn'thavemuchtodo has the form to play a big part too so heads the list of dangers ahead of Keep In Touch and Behind The Scenes.
A mixed bag here chasing black type and it could pay to side with the improving 3yo PERSIAN JEWEL just a week after her C&D maiden win

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
FORMAL DISPLAY beat all bar Atlantic Coast on debut at the Curragh and that form looks rock solid with the winner going on to land the Group 3 Killavullan Stakes. The half-brother to six winners including the very smart Time Test was far from disgraced on his only subsequent start behind Diego Velazquez in a Group 2 over this trip at Leopardstown on Champions Weekend. Going Remote stepped forward from his debut when staying on well at Naas and should be suited by a mile while Nine Lives was prominent throughout over C&D a fortnight ago but riding arrangements suggest The Old Nine, a 360,000 guineas son of No Nay Never, is preferred. Emphasis was blinkered and never really involved on debut over C&D but could progress with that experience under his belt.
FORMAL DISPLAY wasn't beaten that far in a Group 2 on only his second start and sets the bar pretty high for a maiden, particularly as there's likely even more to come. Going Remote shaped quite well last time and might be the one for the forecast spot ahead of Cathal, who more then hinted at ability in the Goffs Million on his debut. The Old Nine cost plenty as a yearling and is a newcomer to keep an eye on in the betting.
Having contested at Group 2 level last time, FORMAL DISPLAY can get off the mark dropped back to maiden company

9/4(+18%) | (6) Brains 9/4, 3 wins from 9 runs this year. 6/4, improved on recent efforts to win 13-runner claimer over C&D 9 days ago. Should be very competitive back in a handicap. Recent C&D claiming winner could make them all go from this inside draw. |

3rd (1) (10/1 -33%) Freescape |
10/1(-33%) | (1) Freescape 10/1, Six-time course winner. 20/1, eighth of 12 in handicap at this course (12f) 28 days ago. Significantly back down in trip. 1m4f too far here last month; handicapper giving him a chance. |

6th (5) (33/1 -267%) Mulgrave |
33/1(-267%) | (5) Mulgrave 33/1, Five-time C&D winner. 3 wins from 9 runs this year. Thirteenth of 14 in handicap at Punchestown (8f, good to soft, 16/1) 58 days ago but better expected back on his favoured AW. Three-time C&D winner in February back from poor run of form on turf; can't rule out. |

7th (4) (20/1 -122%) Ransom |
20/1(-122%) | (4) Ransom 20/1, C&D winner. First run since leaving Philip Michael Byrne when last of 11 in handicap at this course (6f, 14/1) 7 days ago, unsuited by drop in trip. Tongue strap back on. Dual C&D winner but improvement needed on recent runs here. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
MIGDAM won three times for Sir Michael Stoute holding a career high rating of 96 and has progressed steadily since joining Ado McGuinness this summer winning on his latest start over C&D with Punk Poet and Ransom both behind. The form of that race has worked out well with the third, fifth and sixth all winning next time out. Brains made all for a very easy win in a claimer here last week and shouldn't be lightly dismissed while Freescape has gained all six wins at this venue including off a mark of 104 just before last Christmas. Lust won four times for Ger Lyons including a Listed race at Naas 18 months ago but has been generally disappointing in a light campaign since and has recently joined Mick Mulvany.
A few winners have emerged from the big-field C&D handicap MIGDAM landed last month so a 7 lb rise may not prevent him following up for the Ado McGuinness team. Mulgrave failed to fire on turf over the summer but is much better on this surface and is second choice ahead of last week's C&D claiming winner Brains.
Having run away with a C&D claimer nine days ago the front-running BRAINS (nap) could be hard to beat here from this inside draw

25/1(+15%) | (13) Our Dickie 25/1, Fifteenth of 16 in handicap (25/1) at Galway (7f, heavy) 11 days ago. Booking of Foley a plus. Tongue strap back on. Others make more appeal. Dual turf winner; shown nothing in two runs for this yard; shown little in five AW starts. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
PINK SOCKS has been in good form most of this season but unlike a lot of her stablemates hasn't quite managed to get her head in front. The selection has filled the runner-up spot in her latest three starts on varying ground conditions including at this venue last Friday when Gurkha Girl, Designer Cailin and Hale Bopp were all behind. Elephant John has dropped considerably in the ratings this year but gave some encouragement when staying on over seven here a fortnight ago and the booking of Colin Keane is certainly a positive. Tiktok Time has shown his best turf form on good ground and could be of interest tackling this surface for the first time.
PINK SOCKS ran well over C&D a week ago and has an in-form apprentice up now, so she's preferred to Stormie Outlook, who should be back on her game after a poor run. Gurkha Girl should also run well but most of the others have something to prove.
This can go the way of PINK SOCKS who has been knocking on the door of late and talented apprentice Wayne Hassett claiming 7lb may help

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
THE BOG BANK has won twice over this C&D and is a generally consistent sort at this venue. The Tom McCourt-trained mare has been placed on both recent outings here and beat all bar Barbapapa last week. Bucky Larson has gained all bar one of his seven career wins over a mile and is closely matched with Airgead, who was fitted with blinkers for the first time, on running behind Amemri over seven here last month. Von Krolock had Knockmore Prince about five lengths behind when opening his account over seven here last month but faces a stiff enough task off a 10lb higher mark, while others to consider include Tara Power and French import Kiwi Kiss.
The vote goes to THE BOG BANK, who has been holding her form well and a 2 lb rise for her recent second of 14 over this C&D looks manageable. Bucky Larson has dipped to an attractive mark and, having performed with credit at Gowran and over this C&D the last twice, his turn may well be near. Bright Dick remains a maiden following 14 attempts, but he would be a danger to all if he puts his best foot forward. Von Krolock, meanwhile, looks vulnerable up 10 lb for his success over 7f here last time.
A competitive finale but KNOCKMORE PRINCE may be the one to side with. He may have needed his latest run and should relish return to 1m

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
