17:00 Dundalk Claimer 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CHESTNUTTER was a dual winner this summer and drops to claimer company. She was well held on all-weather debut here 14 days ago but should benefit from that experience, is suited by this distance and contests a winnable race. One Boss was beaten in a heavy-ground maiden claimer in September but ran well in a course-and-distance maiden recently. Dumb Love's form is all on easy or heavy ground but was nonetheless a maiden winner in September, while lightly-weighted Starnight was a Nottingham handicap winner in May but tries this trip for the first time. Hasten Slowly was third in a recent claimer but drops back markedly in distance, while Un Bacio Ancora is a 23-race maiden who tries this distance for the first time.

Plenty in with a squeak but preference is for CHESTNUTTER, who ran one of this season's lesser races making her all-weather debut here a fortnight ago but can resume her progress dropped into claiming company for the first time. Iva Batt, Amanirenas and One Boss are just a handful of possible dangers.

ONE BOSS may be able to dominate her rivals from the front here and she ran with credit in a C&D maiden earlier this month

LTO Selection:

17:30 Dundalk Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

EXQUISITE ACCLAIM's only previous win was here in September 2021 but his rating has recently fallen. Rated 98 in May 2022 and unplaced in an Italian (Group 3) 2,000 Guineas, he returned to some form recently and a reproduction of his latest course-and-distance placings might prove enough to win. Bobby K, a six-time winner, is an all-weather specialist who would prefer a mile but has good recent form and should compete under his 7lb claimer. Lasting Peace ran satisfactorily in his two all-weather runs and runs in first-time cheekpieces while Princess Rajj took a late stumble when disappointing on her last run but reappears following a break under a 7lb claimer. Harbanaker and The Bog Bank's best form is over a mile while Boadicea Belle is a three-time all-weather winner but is out of form.

THE BOG BANK is down to 2 lb lower than when successful over C&D in July and might prove the answer to this tricky apprentice race. Exquisite Acclaim was a good third here a fortnight ago and rates an obvious threat for the Ado McGuinness team. Harbanaker is also respected on the back of his latest course fourth.

A return to seven furlongs should help IS THAT LOVE who has been running with credit over shorter and he's down to a good mark

18:00 Dundalk Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

WOODEN HEAD was a E120,000 foal who showed promise in a recent course-and-distance handicap. That recent race was a higher-grade handicap and today he competes in a lesser race with his jockey claiming an extra 5lb. Pulse Of Shanghai, a five-time winner, is winless since March 2021 but continues in decent form and likes this distance. Hero Of The Hour was slowly away on his recent reappearance and has solid claims if progressing from the run.

Lots with chances but the vote goes to WOODEN HEAD who can race off a 1 lb lower mark than when a good C&D fourth last time and remains with few miles on the clock. Multiple course winner Pulse of Shanghai is feared most on the back of his good Navan second, ahead of the handily-weighted Zig Zag Zyggy and course specialist Adams Barbour.

A typically competitive sprint h'cap for Dundalk but PULSE OF SHANGHAI was only narrowly denied latest and should relish a return to AW

18:30 Dundalk Handicap 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MILLIETHEMOLLIE ran well on recent handicap debut. Running in first-time hood and tongue-tie, she beat Buddy Batt into fifth in that Naas race and while 3lb higher, can continue to progress and should be ok on the all-weather, being a good-ground performer. Buddy Batt was later raised 7lb following a slightly improved Listed run here recently but has enough on his plate, despite his same rider claiming 7lb today. Seven Eleven improved to win on handicap debut at Down Royal but is 7lb higher and meets contrasting ground. Scorchio has disappointed since a promising debut in June, when comfortably beating Blame Thechampagne and Harry The Rogue. She has a feather weight but needs to show her old ability on all-weather debut. Clonmacash has contested some hot races and debuts in handicaps wearing second-time blinkers while Moral Turpitude runs in cheekpieces on handicap debut.

MILLIETHEMOLLIE took a big step forward on her nursery bow when runner-up at Naas and is weighted to go one better off a 3 lb higher mark here. Recent Down Royal scorer Seven Eleven rates the chief danger ahead of Harry The Rogue, who wasn't seen to best effect when eighth here last time out.

The form of MORAL TURPITUDE's latest maiden outing couldn't be working out much better and she may be worth chancing from a mark of 72

LTO Selection:

19:00 Dundalk Group 3 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

BOUTTEMONT's name should ring a bell and he reverts to Group 3 company, having encountered trouble in the Prix de l'Abbaye. His form is in-and-out and a shower of rain derailed him at the Curragh in September but, at Longchamp, he met notable in-running traffic in a messy race. He is a Newcastle All-Weather Championship winner so this surface will suit. The Highway Rat is proven over course and distance and while beaten a neck by Harry's Bar recently, was slowly away then and is 5lb better off. Harry's Bar, a 15-time all-weather winner, might struggle to win while two-year-old Alabama is experienced but has a tough task. Big Gossey has a better turf record than all-weather while Twilight Jet makes his all-weather debut. UK raider Queen Me, running in first-time cheekpieces, also debuts on the all-weather, having dropped to this distance on recent runs.

If THE HIGHWAY RAT gets away from the stalls better than he did when chasing home Harry's Bar over C&D 3 weeks ago he might be up to landing this Group 3 for the second time in 3 years. French raider Bouttemont wasn't seen to best effect in the Abbaye and is second choice ahead of the aforementioned Harry's Bar and Aidan O'Brien's 2-y-o Alabama.

Possibly flattered by his 109 rating the French challenger BOUTTEMONT could still be the one to beat on his return to the polytrack

LTO Selection:

19:30 Dundalk Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

PAGAN SUN cost E360,000 at an Arqana May breeze-up sale and represents a trainer whose juveniles are flying. Irish-trained, French-bred and American-owned, he is from the first crop of Enable's German-trained Arc conqueror Waldgeist, while his English-trained half-brother is rated in the 90s. Soldier's Empire and Chicago Fireball are closely matched on September's Goffs Million form and while both receive 2lb from the selection, are vulnerable to smart types. Taraj also has useful recent form and debuts on the all-weather. It is discouraging to see blinkers applied on debutante Emphasis which is Ballydoyle-trained and out of a Listed winner. Lady Doris is the ninth foal and whose only winning sibling scored at Group 3 level. Rothstein is out of a Listed winner, Zenato is a half-brother to six winners while Mrs Haggerston is a half-sister to a Listed winner.

This has the look of a hot maiden, with PAGAN SUN chanced before market clues to continue the red-hot Paddy Twomey's remarkable run with his newcomers (7 of his last 10 have won). Soldier's Empire and Chicago Fireball are closely matched on the form of their Goffs Million efforts and can surely find races. Taraj is respected, while Emphasis has to be worth a look first time up for Ballydoyle.

Paddy Twomey has shown he can ready one first time out and his PAGAN SUN, a 360,000euors breeze-up buy can make a winning debut

LTO Selection:

20:00 Dundalk Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

KEEPER'S HEART showed promise on debut. A half-brother to a Group 3 winner, he shaped well at Naas and with the third winning subsequently, should take beating. Benvoy, out of a Group 2 winner, ran well on Navan debut and while that form is nothing special, can progress. Debutante Presence could be useful being a half-sister to two winners and is by a promising stallion which currently stands for E75,000. Cherry Wild is a sibling to nine winners, two of which were black type-placed, while Puente Romano is a half-brother to a Listed-placed winner but debuts in a tongue-tie. Nine Lives was well-supported when disappointing on Tipperary debut but may have been unsuited by heavy ground. Wonderwalk ran a nice race on her Roscommon debut when meeting experienced rivals.

KEEPER'S HEART and Benvoy both arrive on the back of encouraging debut and may well dominate this, with the former (who achieved a bit more) taking marginal preference. Presence looks the pick of the newcomers.

Following a promising Naas debut last month, form franked since by the third horse winning, KEEPER'S HEART (nap) can go one better

By Sea The Stars and from a good family, he ran well on soft ground at the Curragh last month but had previously shown form on good in August - suggesting he will be suited by the all-weather. Saturn, by Galileo and out of top racemare Alpha Centauri, ran well in two summer maidens but there is nothing exciting about the form of either race and he returns following a layoff. Dawn Rider is out of an ex-Irish trained American Grade 2 winner, whose half-sister won a Royal Ascot and while she could be smart, makes a belated debut. Apercu also debuts quite late but carries the colours of Team Valor and is a sibling to four winners. All Time Great, by Justify and out of a Canadian Group 1 winner, has flopped in two runs and runs in first-time blinkers.

SHREWSBURY ROAD shaped well behind another promising type at the Curragh last month and is narrowly preferred to Jessica Harrington's Saturn, who was placed in a couple of turf maidens during the summer. A market move for well-bred debutante Dawn Rider would also bring her into the reckoning.

Shrewsbury Road and Saturn share 79 ratings but could be vulnerable to a well-bred newcomer such as DAWN RIDER
