SAYIFYOUWILL might be able to get Stephen Thorne off the mark. Successful nine times in the UK, the six-year-old ran a cracker on her debut for current connections over the course and distance last week, finishing third in a much stronger contest. In here for €15,000, she is the highest rated runner in the line-up. On ratings, Catherine Chroi and Alabama Calling are the dangers. Both are in for €20,000, with the latter returning to Claire O'Connell after a successful stint with Ian Jardine. Tiffany Twisted (€10,000) came in for strong market support on her penultimate start at Fairyhouse, and she is of definite interest in a contest of this quality. With four course wins to her name, Chica Power (€7,000) is another for the shortlist.
Having been successful on her final start for Amanda Perrett in August, SAYIFYOUWILL turned in her best effort of the season when third over C&D last week and a repeat effort should be sufficient to resume winning ways dropped into claiming company. Catherine Chroi enjoyed a fruitful time with Iain Jardine in the spring, so she heads up the dangers back with her former stable, with Endless Pursuit and Galician Girl another couple worthy of consideration, too.
This looks like a good opportunity for SAYIFYOUWILL to gain another AW win after an encouraging yard debut over C&D last week

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
An ultra competitive affair, with MARBLE ANGEL the suggestion. A beaten favourite when bidding for a hat-trick here last month, she was carried wide into the straight and weakened thereafter. Given a short break since, she might be able to bounce back now. Skontonovski is in the form of his life at present and warrants the utmost respect as a six-time course winner. Ateenosix had no luck in running when ninth over the course and distance last week and he is of definite interest, while others for the shortlist are Shoot To Kill, Mullacash Buzz and Cross Border, with the latter starting off for Gavin Cromwell and the In Bounds Syndicate.
MULLACASH BUZZ is a better performer on the AW than turf so the return to this venue may well prompt an improved showing from this handy mark. Skontonovski and Marble Angel head the opposition.
MULLACASH BUZZ gave it a good go from the front on turf last month and should relish a return to AW with a good draw

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (13) (20/1 -150%) Eriskay |
20/1(-150%) | (13) Eriskay 20/1, Eighteen runs since last win in 2021. Below form fifth of 11 in handicap (16/5) at Naas (5.9f, good) 81 days ago. Makes polytrack debut. Hard to win with on turf; belated AW debut. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
While he has a wide draw to overcome, SENADO SQUARE has a good record at Dundalk and with Cian Horgan claiming a valuable 7lb, he can be expected to go close. Adrian McGuinness saddles two leading hopes, with Adam Caffrey aboard I'm Spartacus. A winner over this C&D last month, he is sure to have plenty of supporters in his bid to follow up. Hezahunk is the other McGuinness representative and he is also likely to be prominent in the betting, after finishing just a neck behind the selection when third on his most recent start. Fairyhouse winner Blanc De Noir, the Kevin Coleman-trained Devil's Angel and the lowly-rated Eriskay are others for the shortlist.
Lots with chances but JAZZY DANCER is fancied to build on his recent Fairyhouse 12th after a lay-off and capitalise on a handy-looking mark. Fellow C&D scorer Hezahunk heads the list of dangers, with Fairyhouse-winner Blanc de Noir and I'm Spartacus also firmly in the picture. Senado Square completes the shortlist.
A high draw isn't the disadvantage it was so recent Fairyhouse winner BLANC DE NOIR is taken to defy top-weight from stall 14

11/1(+8%) | (8) Tino Pai 11/1, Below form sixth of 14 in nursery at Naas (5f, good to firm, 11/1) 36 days ago, not knocked about. Makes polytrack debut. Opening handicap effort at Naas just fair, good bit of improvement needed here on AW debut. |

7th (2) (18/1 -100%) Improve Your Move |
18/1(-100%) | (2) Improve Your Move 18/1, Twelfth of 14 in maiden at Dieppe (5f, good, 66/10). Off 133 days. First run for yard after leaving Florian Guyader. Makes handicap debut. Not easy to make a case for. Ex French-trained; may appreciate this sounder surface on Irish debut but best watched. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (7) (7/1 +0%) Weegeebear |
7/1(+0%) | (7) Weegeebear 7/1, First run since leaving Ger Lyons when creditable fifth of 10 in nursery (5/1) at Down Royal (5f, soft) 25 days ago. Okay run at Down Royal for new connections but has a bit to find with Moonhall Lass. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Darragh O'Sullivan and Fozzy Stack successfully combined at Navan on Wednesday, and they might strike here with ISLAND GIRL. Progressing with each run, the Starspangledbanner chestnut has a wide draw to overcome, but will be aided by the 7lb claim of her promising rider. While she failed to make an impact in the Birdcatcher, Moonhall Lass is the only runner with course form and she should appreciate this drop in class. Placed three times from four starts, Bobbi Rosa certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn, while it'll be interesting to see how Improve Your Move fares. Fourth in a Listed contest at Vichy in May, she could potentially be well treated off an initial mark of 77. Skillman Ave warrants respect in first-time blinkers, while Fairhaven and Weegeebear are others of note.
There should be more to come from ISLAND GIRL in nurseries so she gets the nod for Fozzy Stack. Moonhall Lass can probably be forgiven her run in the premier nursery at Naas last time and her second at Down Royal prior to that gives her a good shout. Bobbi Rosa may prove best of the rest.
The stiff 6f was too much of a test last time for MOONHALL LASS but her earlier Down Royal second over this trip gives her a big shout

7/2(+42%) | (11) Powerful Nation 7/2, Promising sort. C&D winner. 2 wins from 5 runs this year. A competitive renewal of this Group 3 contest, with ALBASHEER one of five UK raiders in the line-up. Already successful three times this season, the Archie Watson-trained chestnut is a battle-hardened six-year-old. He lost a shoe when down the field at Newbury on his most recent start and it'll be disappointing if he's not involved towards the business end here. Representing David O'Meara, Star Of Lady M is the one to beat on ratings. In the form of her life at present, she has won three of her last four, making all on her most recent start in a Listed contest at Ayr. First and third in the Legacy Stakes, Lady With The Lamp and Powerful Nation lead the home brigade, with the former taken to reverse the form. Despite failing to make an impact on his return at the Curragh, His Majesty warrants the utmost respect, while James Tate's Electric Storm is another leading hope.
ALBASHEER may have been unsuited by conditions at Newbury last time and he'd been in top form prior to that, so he gets the marginal vote over the likeable Star of Lady M. 2yo Powerful Nation is an interesting contender with more on the card.
A particularly strong British challenge with STAR OF LADY M looking the one to beat on her recent Ayr win

This looks a good opportunity for DAKOTA BLUE. A 300,000-euro purchase at the Arqana Breeze Up Sale, he was fourth when last seen in a much hotter contest at the Curragh, with both the first and third subsequently scoring in Group 3 company. Nyman was six and a half lengths behind the selection at the Co Kildare venue and he gave the form a further boost when successful here last Friday. A fine second on debut, Glenderry is an obvious danger. Already gelded, he is entitled to step forward from that initial effort. A close fourth on his first start at the Curragh, Some Performance looks capable of making an impact, while others for the shortlist are Daler, Quiz Question, Heldtoransom and Transfuse.
DAKOTA BLUE's fourth on Irish Oaks Day is looking very good form, with a couple of Aidan O'Brien's top prospects for 2025 having been among the principals, and he can make a successful return. Some Performance, Glenderry and Daler are all promising and need considering also in what looks a good maiden.
There was plenty to like about SOME PERFORMANCE's debut when a length behind Expanded and he should improve stepping up in trip

Out of 2013 Irish St Leger winner Voleuse De Coeurs, OZARK DAZE might finally get his turn. Placed on recent starts over this C&D, the Andy Oliver-trained bay was second when last seen, finishing a place ahead of subsequent winner Natural Ruler. The only filly among the 14 set to take part, Pearl Jewel is of definite interest. She beat the selection and the reopposing Raydamann when second over C&D on her penultimate start, before finishing fifth in a competitive handicap. The aforementioned Raydamann warrants respect in a first-time hood, while Sligo runner-up Man Of Worth, the consistent Coul Dreamer and debutant Persian Bliss are others for the shortlist.
OZARK DAZE posted another good effort here last time and can finally open his account. Raydamann is a firm player, while the superbly-bred Hallowed would obviously demand respect if getting a run.
Pearl Jewel had OZARK DAZE in behind when 2nd last month but Ozark Daze wasn't seen to best effect and he's run well over C&D since
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
