(1) Beylerbeyi 6/4, On a hat-trick after wins at Wolverhampton and over C&D last month. A penalty is unlikely to prevent him making a bold bid.

Did well on AW during the winter, but 1-17 on turf; may need this after five months off.

14:05 Doncaster Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BEYLERBEYI completed a double over C&D a shade cosily last week and a 5lb penalty may not be enough to prevent the four-year-old from landing the hat-trick. Fellow last-time-out winner Panama City is clearly in good heart and can't be taken lightly. Ian McInnes' gelding may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of handicap debutant Thanks Dad, who looks fairly treated judged on last month's Wolverhampton second.

YOUNG FIRE really ought to have a race in him from a mark in the low-60s and might be able to end the winning run of penalised hat-trick seeker Beylerbeyi. Lightly-raced handicap newcomer Thanks Dad should also have a say.

Last week's C&D winner BEYLERBEYI comes into this in cracking form and should be hard to beat in his hat-trick bid.

(6) French Master 7/2, Only ninth of 13 in 1¼m Sandown maiden on debut 3 weeks ago but went off at only 9/4 so presumably capable of better for a top stable which won this with the smart Sweet William in these silks last year.
Never in with a shout at Sandown after starting slowly; at 9-4, better was expected.

14:40 Doncaster Stakes (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CROWN OF INDIA arrives on the back of two close-up thirds at Salisbury and compensation could be imminent. This represents a drop in class for Ed Walker's inmate and he looks sure to pick up a race sooner rather than later. The penalised Sea Regal must enter calculations after her 1m2f Ripon triumph in May, with this step up in distance likely to unlock more improvement. Market support for 105,000gns newcomer Haderach would also be interesting.

William Haggas won this with a filly in the Sunderland Holding silks a couple of years and can repeat the feat with SEA REGAL, who won nicely over 1¼m at Ripon last time and should have more to come now moving up in trip. The Normandie Stud colours were carried to victory in this by Sweet William 12 months ago so don't be surprised to see French Master leave his debut effort well behind. Crown of India looks best of the rest.

The filly SEA REGAL surely has to step up on her winning form at Ripon but she's from a family that improves with age.

15:15 Doncaster Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Visibility displayed courage to score from an uncompromising position at Pontefract on Monday and a 4lb penalty shouldn't prevent another bold bid. However, this rise in class could find Scott Dixon's charge out, with CHATURANGA open to more improvement. The three-year-old found only a progressive rival too strong at Newmarket a fortnight ago and a 1lb nudge up in the ratings looks far from insurmountable. Cambria Legend boasts a similar profile and he's also noted.

Having opened his account (from a next-time-out winner) on his penultimate start, CAMBRIA LEGEND built on the improvement shown then when second at Lingfield 38 days ago and he's very much of interest here from his revised mark. Fellow 3-y-o Chaturanga also arrives in good form and is feared most. Nap Hand and Monday's Pontefract scorer, Visibility are others to consider.

A good few of these have questions to answer at the minute but not Chaturanga and CAMBRIA LEGEND.

15:50 Doncaster Handicap (Class 2) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

SQUEALER was denied by a short-head in this grade at Windsor last month and he is only 1lb higher for that encouraging display. Nigel Tinkler's four-year-old is a previous C&D winner and he looks well placed to get his head back in front. The main danger might be Brave Nation, who has hit the crossbar on each of his last two starts and he goes off a 1lb higher mark than his most recent second at Sandown. Of the remainder, Alligator Alley makes most appeal.

A good quality handicap with a chance taken on BRAVE NATION. He evidently needs everything to drop right but has knocked on the door on each of his last 2 starts and he's lurking on a very handy mark. Squealer, following his good Windsor second, and Looking For Lynda, who wasn't seen to best effect at Thirsk latest, are others to consider.

Brave Nation has the ability if the cards fall right but SQUEALER is a C&D winner coming here on the back of career-best run.

16:25 Doncaster Handicap (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ANGEL SHARED made every yard of the running to score by over a length in this grade at Carlisle in May and she now seeks the four-timer off 6lb higher. Steph Hollinshead's filly could have more to offer on only her fifth handicap start and she looks the one to beat. Miss Attitude just did enough to record her third career victory at Haydock last month and she should remain competitive off 4lb higher, while Bella Kopella isn't out of it either.

This looks likely to be run at a brisk pace and that should play firmly to the strengths of HARVANNA. She looked unlucky not to finish closer having met some trouble when fifth in a big-field York handicap 7 weeks ago and she can prove her revised mark an exploitable one. Angel Shared and Miss Attitude both arrive on the back of career-best displays and can provide the lead threats.

Angel Shared and Harvanna are 3yos with claims but MISS ATTITUDE (nap) created a positive impression at Haydock two weeks ago.

17:00 Doncaster Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Rapido Girl has to be respected following her maiden success at Catterick a month ago, but marginal preference is for ALSEEYERTHERE. The daughter of Al Kazeem was only beaten a nose over 7f at Redcar last time and should remain competitive off a 2lb higher mark. Just Rita also hit the crossbar on her most recent outing and could make the frame, while Bella Taslina and Biplane are others to note.

ALSEEYERTHERE deserves to double her career tally, and given she was just about better than ever when second at Redcar a fortnight ago, this could be a good opportunity. Just Rita also found only one too strong last time and she can be a factor again, with Rapido Girl another to consider.

Preference is for BELLA TASLINA who has shown ability in all three starts and could take a step forward now switched to a handicap.

17:35 Doncaster Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SHOWTIME MAHOMES was only beaten a neck into second over C&D a week ago and merits the utmost respect off the same mark here. Mokaatil is not the force of old, was once rated 102, but his last couple of efforts suggest that he is likely to be in the mix once again. Carlton And Co edges out Wichahpi to be best of the rest.

WICHAHPI confirmed she's in top form when finding only a well-backed improver too strong over C&D a week ago and she looks ahead of the game from the same mark. A Pint of Bear shaped better than the end result at Brighton so needs treating as though still in form, with Carlton And Co also of interest.

Preference is for SHOWTIME MAHOMES who is already due a 3lb rise after going down by just a neck over C&D seven days ago.
